Even all the other traitors and murderers he hangs out with think he’s a fucked up little freak. The nicest thing he ever did for anyone was shoot himself in the face and die

I feel spoiled by games like Hades that give us really good designs for the Greek gods and then I look at lore Olympus and it gives nothing. It’s so far removed from Greek culture.

I do find it hilarious that in the original draft Mirabelle, Isabeau, and Siffrin prototypes were in a love triangle that would have resolved in a ot3 because with aroace Mira, Mira and Isa being best friends, Mira and Sif friendship buddies, and Siffrin giving aro-spec vibes even in romantic connotations with Isabeau, you get the perfect recipe for "Romantic isafrin and qpr mirasif where Mirabelle is THEIR specialist little guy, do not separate!!!"

Thinking back to the Discord AMA that @tgammsideblog posted from two of the series’ writers, the idea that a hug would be what ultimately triggers Scratch’s memories of Molly is not only incredibly wholesome, but it’s freaking brilliant.

Taste was more a sensory trigger for his memories of Adia because things like Surly Sid’s Strawberry Soda were a constant in their childhood together and it was what he would connect to his most important memories of her, both happy and sad. Not to mention it being a symbol of their friendship because of the promise they made when she moved.

With Molly, however, it’s different.

While she was always happy to provide Scratch’s favorite foods whenever he asked, that’s not what he would connect his happiest and/or most important memories of her to.

Molly’s love language is clearly physical touch, and what has been a constant in their friendship literally since the moment they met?

Hugs.

I need to know about the details of how mirrorhawks are hunted given they seem to be a pretty major product in terms of viable sources of protein in the Un and even the Company soldiers in the entourage seem to consider them with apprehension. How dangerous of a profession is this. What is the extent of the market for mirrorhawk in the Highest Light. Are there differences between the mirrorhawks hunted from the upper Un compared to those near the Mediun. Are some considered more of a delicacy versus bottom shelf products. Can you order mirrorhawks on the half-shell or does the mica's antigravity or general sharpness get in the way. Does it have to be processed specially to remove any mica from the flesh. Are there frequent product recalls because mica was found in canned mirrorhawk. Are there concerns about ecological sustainability. What is the current health of the overall mirrorhawk population in the cosmos.

I'm working on Chapter 2 of the fic (and getting back to answering comments!), and I found the Slay the Princess AMA on r/Games and it's really giving me a LOT to think about when it comes to how reality works in the construct, and how character progression and development for the Voices becoming more rounded people might work as well as positive and negative traits for them. (I'm also amused that despite the Voices being "both at their best and their worst in different parts of the story" on purpose, I actually can't think of a chapter in which having Paranoid or Hunted is actively detrimental to you!) Which is really making me think the customization of them getting their own bodies could be wild. What if some of them have beaks and some of them don't, and it only actually solidifies because of actual observation -- like until the first split they both have a beak and do not have a beak but Smitten's body specifically does not have a beak (he must, of course, be able to have passionate, romantic, perfect kisses!) and Hunted's body specifically does (closer to nature, closer to Bird)... Lots to think about for the upcoming parts... I also also found this one, which does sort of have a characterization point I want to think about, but also just makes me laugh so I wanted to share:
