I loved this season of Fallout so much. I think they touched on every part of what's good about fallout: the suspense, the horror, the comedy, the morality, the mystery. Ugh I just think it was so so well done.
I remember watching the first few episodes and thinking "shit I hope they dip into the Lovecraftian horror that the games tend to get into" and I know it wasn't quite all the way there, but I felt like the scene with the worshiping surface dwellers in Vault 4 came pretty close and was really cool. It was a really interesting buildup from worship service to slightly disturbing/unsettling elements involving blood sacrifice. I was reminded a bit of the Children of Atom from Far Harbour and their worship of the Mother of the Fog. FUCK
idk man I just feel like this was a tv adaptation of a series made by people who love the series and that really makes my chest warm.

Troppo (Season 2)
🎬An eccentric private investigator with a criminal past and a disgraced ex-cop solve a murder in the wilds of Far North Queensland.
✍️A seriously good detective drama set in beautiful Queensland. I highly recommend it. It is original, with great character development and mystery. Definitely worth spending one's time on. Season 2 is available in Australia on the ABC network and will be free to watch on Amazon's Freevee channel from July 25th. It's a good show, and in a field of mediocre and 'same ol' rubbish, it is commendable to come across something new and different.

Okie Dokie (Norm MacLean)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Norm MacLean x Cassandra "Cassie" Lang (Original Character/Reader)

Ideas for writing for Norm
Character: Cassandra ‘Cassie’
Affirmation: Vault 33
Occupation/Hobbies: Nurse and teaches Sex Ed Class
Volunteer: Kitchen Duty, Cleaning Duty, Food Delivery,
Computers and Information Maintenance
Book Club w/ Lucy and Sometimes hosts
Sewing/Crocheting/Embroidery Club, Young Pipefitter's Association with Lucy and Steph, Gymnastics club, Dance Club, Intermediate Phys. Ed., and Riflery, Enjoys watching and reading with Lucy, Secretly plays Pip boy games
Friends: Lucy, Steph, Chet, Norm (Rivals, Love Interest? Frenemies)
Personality: Good Hearted Caring and Kind, Creative, Sassy, Fun and as cheerful as Steph and Lucy, Stubborn, Competitive, Teasing, Willing to fight what is right and is a head strong fighter, Had a feeling Vault 32 is suspicious and somethings not right and not adding up, Investigator, Speaks her mind, Wanted to go into the surface with Lucy and curious what’s it like up there. But isn’t as naive as Lucy. Doesn’t believe in the death penalty and that the Raiders should go back to the surface and they could possibly plot killing them again. She's patient but shows the most anger and frustration towards Norman.
Physical Appearance: Simple Makeup Simple curled Lashes, Blush, Lip Gloss, Brown Eyes, Long Black Hair, Curtain Bangs and strands Voluminous Curls and likes to change the hair style, Curvous/chubby figure, Height short around the same height as Norm. Wearing the Blue and Yellow Vault Jumpsuit.
Norm and Cassie being the smartest in class. Which causes them to have a rivalry and Norm getting angry and frustrated since Cassie is good at almost everything. But it is mostly one sided in Norm’s side which comes to Cassie thinking. Norm doesn’t like her due to his coldness and endless amounts of teasing and anger towards Cassie. They bicker.
Norm lacks enthusiasm and what do the vault 33 council members Reg McPhee, Woody Thomas, Betty Pearson, and Hank MacLean do? They always pair them together as punishment as a way for Norm and Cassie to get along.
Hank and Lucy tease Norm how he could have a possible crush on Cassie. Chet always being clueless and Stephanie knew there was some sort of sexual tension between them.
Idea 1: Steph and Cassie gushing over Montey and making comments Cassie, "Wow he is a looker isn't he wow. He's so Handsome!" Steph, "Lucky." And Norm made a face like Bert. Norm was Confused more Jealous. And he proceeds to tease that he isn't much of a good guy and could have red flags. Norm, "Like I said he could have a tumor!"
Idea 2: Cassie Showing off to Steph and Lucy the corset, skirt, dresses she made were vault colors Blue and Yellow. And Norm said wearing it everyday would be against the rules.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He gets turned on by the thought of Cassie wearing the corset and skirt that he gets an erection.
Idea 3: Cassie and Norm being the smart ones, the investigators figuring everything about the history behind the vault. To make sure they both don’t get caught. Cassie kisses Norm as a distraction.
Idea 4: Cassie was this close to join Lucy up on the surface to help save their dad. But Norm stopped her. “Norm what the hell was that for? I was this close. this close to go with Lucy. What, you don’t want me to help save your dad? Is this your way to come back at me?”
“You care about me?  Bullshit! When did you ever care about me? You care about me more than your sister?”
Idea 5: They are bickering than they kiss from sexual frustration. And do the deed together.

Been thinking lately about tv shows I grow up watching, comparing them a little bit with shows I watch nowadays in streaming services, and I had a sort of thought turn to essay. It is completely based on personal perceptions, and I have no evidence to support any of the claims, so feel free to ignore it.
Thought about Charmed running for 8 seasons, The Vampire Diaries for 7, Once Upon a Time for 7, Supernatural for 15…. and I tried to remember their first seasons, which were good, but if you watch them today you can see they were a little bit more focused on simple stories and plots, not entering yet to the big world building. Is not that shows back then weren’t cancelled, but it wasn’t as common as it is with streaming services – if a show got cancelled it was because indeed almost nobody watch it or it wasn’t attractive enough for the audience. So, why was the first season simple? Because the writers and show runners had confidence that the possibility of more seasons was high. So, the first season often worked as an introduction to the world and the story, building the foundation; the development of the plot, the worldbuilding and the character development could be achieved in upcoming seasons.
Take for example The Vampire Diaries, first season is good and interesting, but is focused on Mystic Falls story; then we have the upcoming seasons where they started with the vampire lore of their universe, the introduction of the original family… basically all the details that made the show better. Not to mention they had to compete against the popularity of Twilight during those years. If TVD was made today in a streaming service with the exact same plot but reduced to 8-10 episodes, would it have survived 7 seasons? I believe it would have been cancelled after season 2. Like the other shows I mentioned, well, Supernatural may have survived due to pure pressure from the fans.
Then I thought about shows I liked from streaming services and that were cancelled way to early – Julie and the Phantoms, Our Flags Means Death, Shadow and Bone… If JATP had been created as a Disney/Nick channel show, it could have survived 4 seasons at least. OFMD and Shadow and Bone could have had the final seasons they needed. (Let's assume for the purpose of this narrative that having diverse shows was a regular thing back then).
Where am I going with all of this? Well, to the point that streaming services may have taken away the opportunity of being allowed to have a simple first season to set the foundations of my story. They had taken away the ability to give time for the viewers to engage in my story.
For streaming services, they need to watch it all in the first month, or otherwise it is a failure that didn’t catch the eye of anyone. It needs to be trending, it needs to be top ten in as many countries as possible, it needs to have followers in all the social media platforms we create for it, it needs to bring subscribers in… all that with just the first season of 8-10 episodes. And if you don’t get all of that, then sorry, you get cancelled. And even if you get half of that, like the popularity but not the viewership, cancelled (i.e. JATP and Shadow and Bone). Let be honest, the majority of the shows from the 90s and early 2000s wouldn’t have survived this; not because they were bad, but because a lot of them engaged viewership in their latter seasons, not since the first one.
And I think that the main consequence of this modern day of doing TV shows, is that it affects the new shows. Take for example the new Percy Jackson, I love it, but what was something people noticed? The pacing was fast, they were given to much information from other books… but it wasn’t their fault, the studio asked to reduce it to 8 episodes. And they were given as much information as they could about the story, because they didn’t know if a second season was possible. The same happened with ATLA Live Action, the pacing was fast because apparently seasons of over 8 episodes are forbidden in streaming services.
Most of the comments I saw about PJODisney and NATLA, was that there was room for improvement, and I was like, of course it is. It is just their first season; they were allowed to make mistakes and learn from them. They are allowed to experiment on the stories and see the reactions of the viewers, this is why it is so important to allow more seasons after the first one.
In conclusion, the way streaming services manage their TV shows in only the categories of instant hit or failure, it slowly ruining them. Writers now have the pressure to encapsulate as much information as possible in one season to make it attractive, which affects the development of the story and characters.
Money grabbers studios are slowly taking away the liberty to be creative when writing a show and having time to develop them. It wouldn't be surprised if we end up with the series having the same plot, like all the new MCU movies.

The Mighty Nein was what introduced and got me into Critical Role.
Omg I can’t believe it!! I always hoped that the Mighty Nien would get an animate series like Vox Machina But I didn’t think we be getting on so soon after the campaigned ended. I’m so excited, so many funny and heartfelt moments I cannot wait to see animated. And I know for sure that its going to be amazingly adapted into a tv show just like Vox Machina.

The concept of having black and white (as in not in color) people in Upload doesn't make sense since soon before introducing us to the concept we watch Nora build up what Nathan looks like using his own memories which wouldn't require a photo like they say was needed for the black and white people, even if they wanted to look younger than when they died, so unless those people don't have their memories (unlikely given context) or don't have accessible memories (also unlikely given the whole situation), I get that they did it so you can be super aware of who the older people within Upload are, but they didn't make it make contextual sense so it bugs me

Panchayat (2020 - )
Season 3: As the Panchayat elections approach, both Pradhan and Bhushan gangs engage in a fierce battle to uplift their public image. Navigating the murky waters of Phulera politics, Abhishek does his best to maintain his objectivity.
Another excellent season that is perfect for binge-watching. I love the humour and simplicity of this series, which looks very lighthearted on the surface but also covers some interesting topics about rural life in India. The writing and cast are brilliant. The only downside of this series is that it seems to take almost two years for them to make eight episodes! I truly hope they make season 4 as soon as possible. A must-watch if you like good humour, original writing, and top-notch acting.

I watched Amazon' "SOLOS"
So I finally watched the Mazon Original show "Solos" and it was awesome. So imagine. Is not an action movie nor there is much action as movement in it. Is basically if you went to a theater. Same set character a monolog. 7 episodes now here us the thing each story is connected to each other. If you want to connect all the dots you need to see all the episode. Is just a awesome Masterpiece and would like to see more TV Shows like this.
