Sitting in Bars with Cake (dir. Trish Sie).

Amazon's adaptation of author Audrey Shulman breezy young adult tearjearker novel about baking cakes, looking for love, and caring for your best cancer-stricken best friend mostly lives up to the source material. Yara Shahidi and Odessa A'zion star as said barhopping besties with enough charm. However, the film lacks a focus and the friend bond between the two leads isn't entirely clear despite their breezy on-screen chemistry. There's actually less sitting in bars with cake than you might expect.

Hi so I’ve been getting more into lord Huron lately and I love all of their music but I know that there’s a SHIT TON of lore and I have absolutely zero clue on where to start learning about it and you seem fairly knowledgeable so like. is there somewhere I should start? a youtube series chronicling everything? HII omg yes!! the lore is such a fantastic rabbit hole to get lost in :D

i think the best place to start is the wiki, which compiles most of what we know!!

and from there i’d definitely recommend watching the vide noir film!! (they actually made a movie i love this band so much ajsjdhdh)

i know you can rent it on youtube, apple tv, and amazon prime video! (there might be more places to watch, i’m not sure)

and one more thing — there’s a short comic detailing the origins of the world enders that’s a lot of fun!

I got it on Vudu myself, but it’s also available on YouTube, Google play, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV. It’s also on DVD on Amazon! So if it’s not available on ANY streaming service in your country there’s that (I don’t think it’s region locked but be sure to double check before buying it)
