I really liked this scene from Bocchi The Rock! where you experience them play live as a band for the first time with all four members. You can hear and see they will come far, not just as a band, but also as friends together, in life 🥹

Quick drawing to warm up before working today. Eyeshield 21 is my favourite comic and Hiruma is my favourite character. It's been so long since the last time I drew him. In this manga discovered my god Murata. #hiruma #hirumayoichi #eyeshield21 #es21 #hirumaeyeshield21 #americanfootball #amefuto #deimon #devilbats #deimondevilbats #spokon #sportsmanga #manga #anime #shonenjump #quickdrawing #fanart #art #artistoninstagram #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalink #wacom #clipstudiopaint #fandogamia #manueltorres https://www.instagram.com/p/ClJ3jNyKQFP/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Through no fault of my own, I have discovered that I’ll be hosting a Super Bowl party tomorrow. Apparently, actual friends of mine have an interest, previously undisclosed, in viewing the annual sporting event. I had no inkling.
Also, I have an 85” television hanging on a wall in my home, so consequently I was made to understand this is a fait accompli and anyway I don’t make the rules. I can, however, make a pot of chili which will be accompanied by separate bowls containing the following: black beans, diced sweet onion, grated cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, sour cream, and enough tortilla chips to fill a modest silo. It has also been my great pleasure to introduce to California acquaintances, native and transplant, the Texas culinary delight which is “Frito Pie,” so I’ll have bags of the salted corn chips on-hand as well. A friend tells me she is bringing the traditional stuffed jalapeños, and pigs-in-blankets. Excellent. Another friend texted:
“I’m bringing a fun salad.”
“Well see that it is. At the very least convivial. I’m not having any killjoy salads in my home!” I texted back.
Further, my understanding is that the event, interspersed as it is with sponsored advertisements and some type of intermission performance, will potentially last about the same length of time as David Lean’s “Lawrence of Arabia”(minus the young Omar Sharif and Peter O’Toole and All That Sand), which is to say a very long time.
In any case, I’ve started preparing the chili in advance, which consists of ground beef and ground pork, in about a 3:1 ratio, chopped yellow onion, chopped orange bell pepper, one seeded Serrano pepper, minced garlic cloves, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, cayenne (just a little!), tomato paste, beef stock, and crushed, whole peeled tomatoes, all of which will mull and marinate in a cumbersome slow-cooker.
Happy Viewing!
