Apple of Your Eye
Summary: Adam has his eyes on a different Eve.
861 / 31420
It wasn’t particularly bizarre, at face value.
The first rose that Reki had received was thorny; it sat innocently amongst the rest of Oka’s fake plants that he tucked into the hanging flower planters for “good hospitality”. Reki thought it was unnecessary (their dope front door and display window more than made up for any hospitality a skater could wish for) but Oka was insistent. So, Reki was more than a little curious when the planters actually caught his eye for once one Tuesday afternoon.
He snatched it a little too eagerly, and, long story short—Reki’s thereon mystery fan never left him another thorny rose, taking care to de-thorn it for weeks to come.
That was, until yesterday.
Langa cried out a couple feet away, and Reki heaved another sigh.
“I told you, you’re lifting off too late!” Reki said. Langa rubbed his elbow wincingly—did he hit his funny bone? Oh, Reki felt that. “You need to maximize that momentum, not minimize it.”
“This ground is actively working against me,” Langa grumbled, returning to full stand, “so that’s kind of hard to do.”
“Is it?”
Langa glowered at him, and Reki chuckled.
“Kidding, kidding.” Reki waved an apologetic hand. “Obviously, the first time’s scary for everyone. But, if you’re serious about skateboarding, you just gotta learn to suck it up. You know?” He grinned. “It’s way more fun like that anyway.”
Langa’s eyes got that weird look in them again—something equally soft as it was sharp. “Yeah,” he said, a little dazed.
“Yeah, ‘yeah’!” Reki beamed. “Now show me how it’s done!”
Langa nodded in that quietly determined way of his and Reki left him to it as his own mind wandered again.
He’d looked it up after getting home last night—what a blue rose symbolized compared to a red one. But unlike the sweet and simple answer of red’s “passion”, blue was… harder to pinpoint. Some results said mystery or unrequited love, while others, fascination and even true love.
But that couldn’t be it, Reki snorted.
He was surprised this person kept up for this long anyway. It had been, what, two, three months since Reki started keeping a vase in his workshop? Dedication like that, it had to be someone from S that was interested in him. He didn’t think a regular person would find anything in him to be “fascinated” with.
“Ah, Reki!”
Reki jerked at the abrupt call, nearly falling off his perch on the half-pipe ledge.
Langa was beaming from behind the makeshift water bottle barrier. “I did it! I got over the bottles!”
“Y-Yeah!” Reki said, finally noticing the barrier was in one, uniform line. “You sure did! That was awesome!”
Langa didn’t take the praise like Reki expected. Instead, he frowned, deadpanning, “You didn’t see it, did you?”
“What? No, I—”
“You’ve got that look on your face again,” Langa interrupted him. “The one you make when you’re drawing.”
Despite the words, he didn’t sound the least bit upset.
Not for the first time, Reki wondered what planet this guy was from.
(No one was actually this chill about being totally ignored during their moment of triumph!)
“Okay, you caught me,” Reki sighed. “I was totally distracted. Sorry.” He smiled, then. “But I still think it was awesome! I don’t need to see it to know that.”
In the afternoon sun, Langa’s faint blush was downright precious. Reki stifled a giggle.
“If you must know, however,” he continued, sliding down the slope to stand on equal ground with Langa, “I was thinking we should get you some protection gloves.”
“Huh? Why?” Langa tilted his head.
“Well, because you work a lot with your hands, right?” Reki wiggled his fingers emphatically. “Those are like, the one exception you gotta make for not needing protective gear. Especially when you get to the crazier moves that need your hands to guide them!”
“Right,” Langa said. “But you don’t wear any either.”
“Pshhhh, that’s ‘cause I’m practically a pro! And I still wear them for S, you know.”
Langa dubiously eyed the Band-Aids littering Reki’s hand, mostly his fingers. “Uh-huh.”
Those cuts weren’t from skating, actually—but Reki hesitated to tell Langa that. Not even Oka knew about Reki’s mystery person (the benefits of having a manager that always came in late), and after unintentionally keeping it that way for about a month, Reki was loath to change that. Even with Langa.
It felt… nice. Knowing someone out there appreciated him this way. He’d like to savor that feeling for as long as he could.
Even if it did sting him twice now in a row in both shades of blue and red.
Reki scoffed. “Hey! Which one of us has been skating for longer, huh?” He crossed his arms. “I think I know what sort of advice I’m giving and taking here.”
“If you say so,” Langa said.
His expression was passive, but Reki recognized that humor in his eyes.
“I do,” Reki huffed.
“Mhmm.”
“Hey.”
Langa was definitely snorting when he passed Reki to try the bottles again, concern seemingly addressed. Reki let him go with only an eye-roll for that.

Being Called Names (and all the comebacks only the fearless have the guts to say aloud)
by ImmediatelyWriting
Moving to a place where no one knows your name. After having dealt with people calling him all sorts of offensive names, this had become a silent dream for Langa. Moving to Japan sounded like a new start. It sounded like it would make a world of difference. It would be magical if no one knew. And for a little while, it was. Until it wasn’t anymore... and the name calling started again, this time right in front of Reki.

author’s note: so... i’m just in love with this anime...
Tumblr media
— REKI
↘ He’s such a precious boy who cheers you up in the blink of an eye; I think he has an extra sense, so he knows when you feel worse than usual or when you are in even the slightest pain (for example, you bumped your elbow or you haven’t eaten breakfast before ‘cause you missed your alarm clock and therefore you have a stomachache).
↘ Reki is a supportive lover; whether you are passionate about singing, learning languages, reading manga, sewing mascots or painting, a seventeen-year-old will always be right next to you to praise what you do or the way you look. He will notice every, even stupid detail about you and mention it immediately when you’re going to hang out. He’s definitely your fan and doesn’t hide it. Additionally, if you introduce him to what you love, he will also get interested in it in a way and then he will come to you to show off what he has done like a sketch of the two of you or an opinion about the anime you recommended him three days ago.
↘ The boy is really devoted to you and loves physical contact; grabbing a hand, kissing on the cheek or forehead, cute texts in the morning it’s something totally normal for the two of you. I also think that Reki could melt if you run your fingers through his soft hair or make small braids for him, decorating his head with a few colored hairpins or hairbands.
↘ If you know how to skateboarding, he will be delighted and your dates will mostly be about riding together or learning new tricks. Plus, it’s another thing Reki loves about you and wow. He’s even bigger fanboy than before!
↘ However, if you have never ridden or even tried to do it, it doesn’t matter. A teen will be happy to be able to offer you some private lessons if you wish. Again, red-haired adores physical contact, so holding your hands/waist while you stand on his beloved skateboard will be a dream come true for him.
↘ He always has ticket for you, so you make a new banner for each race to support him. Hit me, but I’m 120% sure that after race (whether he won or lost it) he takes your pretty banners and hides them in this special box that has its place on his bedroom closet.
↘ Overall, Reki is a boy who fits to the definition of high school, first love.
Tumblr media
— LANGA
↘ Your relationship is a bit more peaceful, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a bit of humor or abstraction.
↘ Langa loves your company so, so, so badly; Reki is quite hot-tempered and is literally everywhere, so when the two of you hang out together after school or at the weekend, blue-haired feels that he can breathe and relax every muscle in his body. You’re his comfort person, and your room is a safe place without fear and noise.
↘ He also enjoys physical contact, but much more prefers to show affection in private, for example in your home or in his own bedroom.
↘ His favorite type of PDA is cuddling; he prefers to be a big spoon and hug you from behind, but he has no problem hugging against your chest or warm stomach, especially when he feels down because of school or racing.
↘ I have a strange feeling that Langa is the type of romantic who would make an amazing Spotify playlist for the two of you so you could listen to the songs, cuddling each other in the bed.
↘ If you can skateboard that’s great! For sure you, Langa and Reki will be a good trio that will meet often in the skate park or in ‘S’. I’m also pretty sure he’ll cheer for you, but at the same time he’ll be very cute with it and definitely more calm than his bestie. For example, if you do a trick... you’ll get a quick kiss on the nose or Langa will buy you your favorite drink. He definitely likes to pamper you.
↘ If you don’t know how to skateboard but you really want to start skateboarding to share your lover’s passion... Well, he will definitely give you a short (long) monologue about how dangerous it is, and you need to be careful – because he knows best of all how a fall on butt or face hurts.
↘ He always keeps a tiny set of colored plasters in his jacket or pants pocket to take care of you in the case of an unexpected accident, as Reki used to care for him.
↘ He’s a good teacher, but he will definitely need to calm his emotions, because sometimes instead of showing you how to slide down the railing, he will suggest something more down-to-earth, like going to the cinema to watch the movie you mentioned three days ago.
Tumblr media
— MIYA
↘ Ahh, my precious smol baby.
↘ You are Miya’s first partner, so he still thinks that he’s not good enough for you, although you always reassure him with a light peck on the nose that he’s the best thing that has happened to you and that you’re very glad that you can be with him in every good and bad moment.
↘ The teenager is terribly shy about any physical contact outside, so if you aren’t at home, don’t expect a ton of hugs or kisses from him. He much prefers when you two are alone – then he doesn’t feel overwhelmed by the gazes of other people, especially other skaters who like to make fun of him.
↘ I swear I’ll bite and beat them all...
↘ Miya is a delicate soul and he really likes to feel that someone look after him, so in a relationship he definitely prefers when you cares for him. For example; just touch his soft hair, ask about his well-being or when he will have a race and a huge smile will appear on his face.
↘ I think if he feels that you are the only one for him... Maybe he will lend you his favorite hoodie with cat ears and tail? He’ll be overjoyed to see that you feel good in it. You look extremely cute, but he’ll never admit it.
↘ It smells like him, like wet earth and a hint of sweet perfume, and although it’s a strange combination, it feels really beautiful, downright safe and homey.
↘ For the next holiday (your birthday, your anniversary, Valentine’s Day or Christmas), he will give you a sweatshirt that matches to his own. It will be in your favorite color and will also have an animal accessory, not necessarily catish, because if you prefer dogs, rabbits or cows... You know, there are many options.
↘ If you know how to skateboard, he will be really calm and will feel that finally someone will want to spend time with him, training and riding together; not like in childhood when everyone turned away from him. He will definitely be moved when you grab his smooth hand and offer a long ride in the park. He definitely loves praise, so give him praise every now and then when he does a nice trick. He will also compliment you more than once and even give you a kiss on the cheek (of course if nobody is watching!). He’s not good at words, but he tries!
↘ If you don’t know how to skateboard... He may be a bit skeptical, but naturally he’ll agree to a few lessons in front of your or his house. Of course you originally just wanted to be close to him and hold his hand more often than usual, but it turned out to be pretty fun! Now, training is your typical dates.
↘ Miya is a sweet boy and although he may not look like that, he’s really protective, often jealous and always puts you at first place.
Tumblr media
— KAORU
↘ This beautiful man, this angel-looking ideal, this ahhhh... Being in a relationship with him is pure pleasure and daily healing for the soul.
↘ He’s a calm, understanding and loving partner. I think he’s a bit old fashioned but that only adds much more charm to his person.
↘ He often calls you his ‘dearest’, ‘darling’ or ‘sweetheart’, isn’t that cute?
↘ You two don’t go out on dates too often, but I think Kaoru loves to spend time at home, having tea or on the couch while one of you is reading a book and the other is listening to music or just sleeping. He definitely doesn’t look like that, but he loves PDA/cuddling and is the best at it!
↘ He also likes it when you suggest learning calligraphy together. He never forced you to do this, but when he first heard that you would like to meet one of his passions, he was really happy and immediately showed you how to write with ink on the special paper he had in his flat. Obviously, more than once you ask him to write a simple letter or word, because you just love his handwriting and how focused he seems. He’s really hot then, I swear to god!
↘ You love his long hair and are always eager to give him a new, nice hairstyle; normal braid or fishtail braid. Maybe a bun or a ponytail with a few hairpins? He loves everything you do on him. In addition, the gentle head massage you give him each time is the most soothing thing in the world for him.
↘ If you know how to skating... He’s really surprised, but that doesn’t mean he’s unhappy or angry. He wants to see what you can do right away and you will surely feel a sweet kiss on your forehead more than once when the trick will be good or even better than you both thought. He’s a supportive boy, but doesn’t show it as vehemently as Reki, for example; he prefers to smile at you or clap softly.
↘ If you don’t know how to skate yet, but you asked him to teach you how to even stand on it... I imagine Kaoru going pale and trying to distract you from this idea because, as an experienced skater, he’s afraid that you will hurt yourself like any beginner. But your big eyes and ruddy cheeks are his weaknesses, so he’ll trust both you and Carla and help you keep your balance on his beloved, black-violet board. Reward him later with quick kisses or give him his favorites, okay?
↘ To sum up, Kaoru is a good and honest lover. He definitely loves your company and won’t mind spending his free time seriously and frivolously with you.
Tumblr media
— KOJIROU
↘ This guy is the definition of the sentence ‘Through the stomach to the heart’. Any objections? No. So let’s gooooo!
↘ Kojirou is a PERFECT second half. Both in character and appearance. If he fall in love with someone seriously, and it will be you, then know that he’ll care for you like about a member of the royal family; breakfasts in bed, an Italian supper, the perfect choice of wine for a chicken or steak are things that have become a sweet daily thing for you at some point.
↘ He loves to show you affection and absolutely has no problem doing it in public, even when he’s working or when you two are in a tight crowd on the train or in the ‘S’ before his race. He will kiss you hard on the lips, grab your skin on your butt or hug your waist. It’s just that everyone needs to know that you belong to him. He’s just as clingy as Reki, and sometimes even worse and bolder.
↘ Of course he has cute side; he likes to lie on the bed or the sofa with you on his chest. He loves being between your thighs and sleep there. He definitely has a weak point in that when you you run your finger on his tattoo or cook dinner with him, throwing ingredients at him and laughing out loud.
↘ Another romantic who uses thousands of pet names (like babey, cutie, doll, pumpkin, kitten). Plus, he loves to dance with you in the kitchen and steal a few kisses here and there. Also, if you aren’t looking, he likes to surprise you with a big, bear hug.
↘ I think he’s a bit impatient, so he doesn’t like to sit at home and prefers dates in crazy places (such as an amusement park, swimming pool, karaoke bar) – it’s his favorite way of spending your time together. As a gentleman, he always pays for you, unless you go faster and bring your ATM card to the card reader as first. But don’t be surprised when Kojirou will just buy you cotton candy or popcorn shortly afterwards.
↘ If you know how to skateboard, he’s as excited as a kid and will definitely offer you a date at the skate park. Naturally, he wants to show off to others what a super cool partner he has, but he also wants others to know that you’re here together to kick everyone’s asses with your abilities. You’re definitely a powerful couple and you have the matching necklaces!
↘ But if you don’t know how to skating then... well, well, well. Just be prepared that one day (without even asking for it) you’ll stand on his beloved board and he will grab your hips, smiling silly. He enjoy skin ship so this guy feels utopian when he can be near you. He definitely won’t spare you compliments, long pecks, and smack your butt when you do something great, so you have to get used to it... and it’s going to be a long training session, so good luck, my friend.
↘ He’s a funny guy, but he’ll never cross your limits, so don’t worry about that. However, he will always find a topic for conversation or a joke to relax the atmosphere or cheer you up. You will never be bored with him.

~"You're an idiot, you know that?"~ (Miya X Fem!Reader)
I would die for Miya Chinen
Miya Chinen protection squad, let us assemble.
He's too precious for this world.
Uh but anyway I'm hyperfixating on this show and Miya really bad so have this scenario that I whipped up rather quickly.
(Warning: A bit of foul language!)
Word count: 1.1k
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tumblr media
It had always surprised you that the people and competitors in the S community welcomed you with open arms. You weren’t a skateboarder, you knew next to nothing about the sport but they accepted as their own.
You always felt like you had a home among the many members of the community, they had always been so nice to you. Though you wanted to believe that this was because they were just nice and welcoming people, you knew this most likely wasn’t true, (except for maybe Reki and Langa). The real answer was most likely due to the fact that you were Miya Chinen’s girlfriend. You only found yourself at S to support him and his endeavors but truth be told you had grown to love it there.
Though the Miya you knew seemed to be completely different from the one the other skateboarders knew. He was such a kind and sweet soul to you, but it seemed the other skaters didn’t think of him as such.
It was almost a weekly activity to join him a few times at night to the old mines S was located in. He’d take a small break from the skating scene to walk with you towards the starting line, your fingers intertwined as you walked together. Though during these times his attention was never focused on you, instead he would survey the crowd and try to get a read on his ‘competition’. But you didn’t mind, just being able to hold his hand was enough for you.
But sooner rather than later you had to let go of the warmth that always radiated from him and step aside so that he could race. You’d take your normal spot next to Langa and Reki and watch the show begin.
Tonight was just like any other. The stroll to the starting line, the sit down and cheer with Reki and Langa, and then joining Shadow at the finish line to welcome him with the normal hugs, pats on the back and kisses (only from you of course, though you wouldn’t deny Reki had indeed tried to slip one on the younger boys cheek to mock him, which didn’t end well for the older boy).
“Oh wow, look at him go, the dude’s got him cornered! I haven’t seen anyone corner Miya like this since the race with Langa!”
As usual Reki was practically foaming at the mouth as he watched the two skate, most likely itching to be racing right alongside them.
“You really think so?”
You were just as entranced on the screen as Reki. you really hadn’t seen Miya struggle with a win like this since his race with Langa. You could see Langa staring at the two of you out of the corner of your eye. He looked rather surprised, maybe he thought differently then the two of you. You slowly leaned yourself backwards to rest on a crate behind you. You weren’t particularly worried. Miya was one of the best, and everyone knew it. He would pull through in the end, he always did.
“Ugh this is so lame.” Your interest was piqued as you heard another man speak to a group a few feet away from you. “This is all so bs. That kid is only good because he cheats to win.”
You could feel your blood boiling just at hearing the allegations these men were throwing about your boyfriend. Your body tensed and you slightly stood yourself back upwards and continued to listen.
“Like that time he raced Shadow. There’s no way he could’ve won without some kind of cheating. He’s probably getting in the poor dudes head right now as we speak.”
“What the hell.”
With all of your patience gone you stormed your way towards the men, unbeknownst to the rest of your group of friends. You weren’t going to let them get away with tarnishing Miya like that, especially when he wasn’t here to defend himself.
“(Y/N) it looks like he’s pulling ahead! I think he’s gonna win this!”
Upon not hearing a response from you Reki glanced to his side and a wave of panic hit him. Oh god where were you!? He was so so so dead if he lost you in this crowd.
“What the hell did you say to me you little bitch!?”
The shouting beside him was the key indicator for where you went. A long sigh escaped his lips, all focus on the race now gone and he practically sprinted towards you, Langa following as well.
“I said to take back what you said! Miya doesn’t cheat, he never has you jackass!”
“Oh you’re asking for it kid!”
You were so blinded with your own emotions you hadn’t even considered the possibility of danger, but now here it was right in front of you as this man wound his fist, ready to attack and you could do nothing but cower and brace yourself for impact.
“(Y/N)!”
The hit never came. Instead it was the sound of wheels grinding to a halt and a brush of wind past you. You slowly but surely opened one of your eyes to get a glimpse at what had just saved you, only to be greeted by a familiar green sweater and black hair.
Miya had managed to place himself in between the two of you, board raised slightly above his head so that the man's fist clashed rather harshly into the wood of the bottom. If looks could kill this man would have been dead a hundred times over. He wanted to speak, he wanted to cuss this man out, to give him what he deserved but a small tug at his clothes brought him back to his senses and he turned rather quickly to face you.
Reki had already stepped in to deal with the man Miya had fended off so he had nothing left to worry about but you. His board clashed to the floor and his hand instinctively fell to your cheeks, gently caressing and examining every inch of your face. His emerald orbs shone with nothing but worry and you couldn’t help but smile.
“Are you alright!? He didn’t hurt you did he?”
“No, no I’m okay Miya.” Your hand fell to rest on top of his in an attempt to reassure the poor boy. He was probably just as frightened as you after all. “Thanks to you.”
You could see a small dust of pink form on his cheeks before a small sigh escaped him and he moved one of his hands to instead run his fingers through your hair, eyes still full of concern. “You’re an idiot, you know that?”
A small giggle escaped your lips and you moved your wrap your arms around him in a tight embrace. A small hum of satisfaction escaped him as he moved his free hand to wrap around your waist and continue to play with your hair, it had always been rather soothing to him.
“But who’s idiot am I?”
The blush on his cheeks worsened still but he responded, voice barely above a whisper as he placed a sweet kiss to the top of your head. “Mine…”
as soon as the threat of adam was gone, langa was all over reki, moving his clothes this way and that to find his injuries. reki laughs lightly at his actions, but doesn't stop him, only wincing and hissing when langa's hands glance over his back.
langa yanks his shirt up, to which reki yelps, and his face turns to a grimace. miya lets out a noise of sympathy at the noise, and cherry grunts.
nearly his entire back was bleeding, covered in gashes from adam dragging him against the cliff side. there are bits of rock and gravel mixed in with the blood, and the skin around the gashes are already turning an angry red.
"damn, kid," joe said, letting out a low whistle. "that looks like it hurts."
"a little bit," reki replied with another, sheepish chuckle, tugging his shirt from langa's hands. he drops it back down, and langa frowns at him.
"reki, we need to clean that," langa protested.
"how are you even moving?" miya asked next, his voice small. "adam really gave you a thrashing, slime."
"it's probably adrenaline," cherry pointed out. he motions at reki. "when it runs out, he's definitely going to be feeling it all."
"we need to get him someplace to sit and clean his injuries," miya said, eyes wide with his concern. they're still a bit red, too, from crying earlier.
"aw, are you worried about a slime like me?" reki asked teasingly. langa is moving suddenly, however, grabbing one of his arms and sliding it across his shoulders. reki's eyes widen. "langa, i can walk, still."
"probably best if you didn't on your own," cherry said, brushing a strand of his hair from his face. joe nods his agreement.
"injuries like that are nasty stuff," joe said in agreement, crossing his arms over his chest. "i could carry him, if it really starts to hurt him."
"i've got him," langa snapped, his hold on reki's arm and side suddenly tightening. his eyes are still sharp, locked on the spot adam had just been in, that anger and sense of protectiveness darkening his eyes. joe huffs out a laugh, holding his hands up placatingly. "does anyone have first aid?"
"on the bottom of my chair," cherry answered, and joe is already moving. he pulls it from the bottom, tossing it up and catching it again.
the people of s are still clamoring, trying to get closer, trying to get a better look at reki. the redhead can feel his face heating up at all of the attention; he wasn't entirely used to it, after all. langa urges him forward, then, and they go to find a more secluded spot. joe, miya and cherry all trail after them. miya glares at anyone who follows them, and points at joe if they try to continue. they usually get the message after joe frowns at them.
they did not want to be followed right now.
langa helps reki sit down, and then instructs him to take his shirt off. reki does so with a deep blush on his face, placing his hands on his thighs. joe offers the first aid to langa, which he takes greatfully, and then thinks back to the lessons his mother had taught him about cleaning wounds.
which definitely comes in handy right now, since reki is covered in injuries. adam really hadn't gone easy on him.
langa mostly focuses on disinfecting the gashes on reki's back, and also on checking for any broken or sprained bones. reki brushes those concerns off with a shrug. "i would have already known if i'd broken a bone," he said with a small smile. langa couldn't stop himself from smiling back.
"that was so stupid, you damn slime!" miya shouted, as soon as langa has finished cleaning and wrapping his injuries. "you should have quit the first time you fell off!"
"but i gave quite a show, right?" reki asked, waggling his eyebrows. miya sticks his lips out at him in a pout, and reki sighs heavily. he struggles to his feet, langa quickly following to make sure he doesnt fall over. he takes a step closer to miya, and rests a hand on his shoulder, his face suddenly somber. "i'm sorry for what i did, miya. i never should have- i wasn't in my right mind. i'll understand if you don't forgive me."
miya blinks at him, and a light sheen of tears slides over his eyes once more. he quickly looks away, rubbing angrily at his eyes with the heel of his hand. "wh- whatever," he muttered. reki smiles lightly at him, and then miya is throwing his arms around his waist, burying his face in reki's stomach and holding him tightly. "just- just don't do it again! or i'll demote you even lower than a slime!"
reki chuckles softly, and returns the hug best he can. langa keeps a close eye on him, and the areas miya is resting his hands. luckily, though, he doesn't have to scold the catboy, because his hands weren't resting on any of his injuries.
"you did do amazingly," joe spoke up, hands stuffed in his pockets. reki pauses, looking up at him with surprise at the compliment.
"i have to agree with the gorilla on this one," cherry said as well, and reki's eyes only widen further. "you made adam fall on his ass, which is enough to get me to respect you anytime."
langa nods his agreement, and grabs one of reki's hands without even thinking about it. miya glares at him through the corner of his eye, the rest of his face still buried in reki's shirt front. apparently, he wants all of reki's attention right now. which langa completely understands, but he also wants reki's attention.
"and when you soared through the air?" langa said, his own voice carrying excitement. his eyes are shining, grin the largest reki has ever seen it. he is staring at reki with complete adoration. reki can feel his cheeks heating again- and not because of the humid air around them. langa gets closer, making miya actually growl softly. joe chuckles at their antics, cherry rolling his eyes fondly. "and when you tricked adam, when you got ahead of him with your skills? when you did a love hug on him?" he squeezes reki's hand. "you were amazing, reki!"
reki already knows his entire face is beet red at this point, and he has to release both miya and langa's hand, needing to cover his hot face. "g- guys," he stuttered. "enough, please."
they all laugh at his plight, and reki feels more welcomed in weeks. he feels at home.
Dare You To (SK8 the Infinity)
Tumblr media
Summary: During a game of Uno Dare, Reki is challenged first not to smile and then - failing that - not to stop Langa from tickling him for a minute. When he fails the second time, the others decide a little playful punishment is in order.
A/N: YES!! I LOVE lee Reki! I love writing for him, that cute little ticklish redhead!! *ahem* Anyway, I've never heard of Dodge or Dare, and I honestly didn't feel like watching a clip of whatever show it's from to learn how it works, so I modified things just a tad, but I think I got the general idea of what you wanted in there. Enjoy! ^^
Word Count: 1,758
~~~
“Ha! No way he’ll be able to do that,” Miya laughed, enjoying the way Reki’s face went red in response to both his challenge and the dare that had been put before him.
They were playing Uno Dare – a new take on the card game they were already familiar with – and so far, Reki wasn’t doing too great. He’d already failed to balance a single card on his head, stand on one foot until his next turn, and do ten push-ups in ten seconds. (Actually, he couldn’t even do ten, period.) And now Langa – who was seated on his right – had the audacity to play a dare card and dare him not to smile until his next turn.
“I can do it!” he insisted, pouting, shooting Miya and Langa a glare each. “It won’t be hard with you guys picking on me.”
Joe smirked at him, attempting to share a glance with Cherry, who promptly ignored him.
“Well? Take your turn,” the pink-haired skater said, gesturing to the pile.
Reki frowned, determined to win this dare so he wouldn’t have to draw another two cards. He already had more than anyone else in the circle. He glanced at his hand briefly, played a card, and stared at the discard pile. He didn’t want to see anyone’s faces. He didn’t want to accidentally slip up again. He would win this dare if it was the last thing he did.
Langa pinched his side.
“He-eey?!” Reki screeched, jolting to the side. Thankfully he was able to keep himself from smiling, but when he made eye contact with his friend it was difficult to keep a straight face. He saw the devious smirk and suddenly grew flustered. “D-Don’t…I know what you’re thinking, but don’t! That’s cheating!”
Cherry took his turn, which passed the flow of the game to Miya. But the evil little skater just sat there, smirking, watching Reki intently.
Langa reached for him again. Reki’s hand shot down to grab Langa’s wrist, the anticipation nearly forcing him to smile already, but he held firm.
“No tickling!” he cried when Langa’s other hand reached for him. Reki thought it was going for his side, but suddenly his friend shot down to his knee and squeezed, making him squeak. He broke into a wide smile in the split second before he could push Langa away and regain composure, but it was too late. With Miya watching him like a hawk, there was no hiding that he’d lost the dare.
“Told you!” Miya laughed again, taking the liberty of drawing two cards for Reki and handing them over. “Here, slime, take your punishment.”
“No way!” Reki exclaimed, looking around the circle at the two adults with them. “Langa cheated!”
“There’s nothing in the rules that says other players can’t try to mess with you,” Joe said, chuckling. “So technically, he didn’t cheat.”
Reki glared at Langa, who smiled calmly back at him, winking. The redhead demanded, “I want a do-over! Give me another dare, or let me try that one again without you cheating.”
“I didn’t cheat,” Langa replied. “I thought that had been established. Take your cards, Reki.”
“No!”
Cherry sighed, but Miya quickly piped in again before any of them could get scolded. “Fine, you big baby. How about this – if you can take Langa tickling you for one minute without fighting back or saying ‘stop,’ you don’t have to draw your two cards. That’s your new dare.”
Reki’s eyes widened. “What?!”
Langa laughed. “Oh, come now. You can take a minute, can’t you?”
“Of…of course I can!” Reki swallowed, setting his cards face-down in front of him and clenching his fists in his lap. “Bring it on!”
Miya pulled out his phone and got the timer set up, then counted down from three, and the challenge was on. Langa – sneaky, sneaky Langa – immediately slipped his hands under Reki’s shirt to scribble at his bare skin, skittering over his sides and lower ribs, and Reki burst into giggles, gripping his knees so he wouldn’t fight back on instinct. Langa was not going to make him lose two challenges in a row!
“You’ve always been super ticklish, Reki,” Langa purred into his ear, making him squeal and arch his back.
“Don’t – dohohohohn’t tehehehease me! Thahahat’s cheating, too!”
“Everything is cheating to you when you’re losing.” Langa smirked, moving gradually around to his belly, which they both knew was his worst spot. “Do you really think you can handle a whole minute of your tummy being tickled?”
Reki whined, starting to bring his arms in protectively but stopping himself just in time, squirming in place as Langa finally reached his weakest spot. “Hohohohohow muhuhuhuch lohohohonger?!”
Miya smirked. “You still have forty seconds.”
“Whahahahat? No wahahahahay!” Reki cried. Langa began to circle around his belly button, and his giggles grew into frantic cackles, his whole body shaking from the effort not to protect himself. “Plehehehehease, not thehehehehere, Langa!”
“Where? Here?” Langa dipped his finger into his friend’s navel, and Reki screamed, bringing his arms in at the same time he fell back onto the floor, pushing and kicking at his blue-haired friend.
Miya stopped the timer. “Dude, you lost again! How are you so ticklish?!”
“Shut up!” Reki snapped, blushing as he sat back up. “Fine, whatever, I’ll take the stupid cards. Let’s just move on.”
“No way!” Miya declared, putting his cards down as well and nearly lunging across the circle to tackle him back onto the floor, reaching up into his underarms in a flash. “As punishment, now you have to have two people tickle you!”
“Wha—?! Nohohohohohoho, Miyahahahaha!” Reki squealed, laughing all over again. He was just beginning to muster up the energy to push the little skater away when he suddenly felt fingers digging into his open belly once more, making him shriek and start thrashing more violently. “GOD, NOHOHOHOHOHO!! NOT THEHEHEHEHEHERE!! NOT BOHOHOHOHOTH OF YOU!!”
“Tickle, tickle!” Miya taunted, grinning. He kept digging and scribbling in the redhead’s underarms while Langa got back to work scribbling over his belly and eventually digging into his navel again.
Reki bucked and thrashed and kicked, laughing up a storm but unable to get away. He was in the midst of pleading for mercy when he suddenly felt another weight on him – this one sitting on his legs, pinning them to the floor so he couldn’t kick.
“Jeez, kid, you’re gonna hurt somebody if you keep that up,” Joe’s teasing voice came from somewhere by his feet. Seconds later there were fingers scribbling over his soles.
“NONONO PLEHEHEHEHEHEASE, NOHOHOHOHOHO!! STAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!!” Reki begged, laughter coming out in shrieky, uncontrolled bursts. He flailed his arms wildly, unable to do anything else at this point. “WHY?! I SAHAHAHAHAHAID I’D TAHAHAHAHAKE THE CARDS, YOU JEHEHEHEHEHERKS!!”
“Because it’s fun,” Langa replied, leaning down to blow a raspberry over his belly button. “Plus, if you let us tickle you a little more, we might even let you off the hook so you don’t have to draw any more cards.”
“LEHEHEHEHEHEHET YOU?!” Reki screamed. “I CAHAHAHAHAN’T STOP YOU!!”
“Oh! Well then, this should be a pretty easy win for you.” Langa blew another raspberry. “It’s unbelievable how ticklish your tummy is, Reki.”
“STOHOHOHOHOHOHOP CAHAHAHAHAHALLING IT THAHAHAHAHAHAT!!” Reki’s voice was pleading now, mirthful tears springing to his eyes for how hard he was laughing, having three spots tickled at once. “AND NO RAHAHAHAHAHASPBERRIES!!”
“You’re so picky,” Miya muttered, sliding down slightly to squeeze at his upper ribs.
Reki started to push him off, finally able to muster up some strength once his underarms were left alone, but that was the exact moment that Cherry decided to join in, grabbing his arms and pulling them above his head, pinning them down, doing nothing more than making him more helpless and watching his companions draw laugh after screaming laugh from his core, now that he couldn’t move almost at all.
“NAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!” Reki tossed his head back and screeched loudly, hysterically, unable to hold back or protest or anything anymore. All he could do was lie there and take it and hope desperately that they’d get bored soon and leave him alone. It was true – he was incredibly ticklish, but especially on the three spots that were being assaulted right now, and Reki wasn’t sure he’d be able to take much more of this impromptu tickle torture. “G-GUYS, NAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! PLEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEASE!!”
Miya smirked. “Tickle, tickle, slime~”
Langa blew another raspberry. “You’ve got such a cute, ticklish little tummy, Reki~”
“Your laugh is pretty great, dude, not gonna lie,” Joe added, still scribbling over his feet, his touch lighter than the other two’s. “Don’t know if I’ve ever heard you this happy before.”
“I CAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAN’T!!” Reki cackled, a tear sliding down his cheek as he laughed helplessly. “PLEHEHEHEHEHEASE, STAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!! I GIVE!! I’LL TAHAHAHAHAHAKE THE CAHAHAHAHAHARDS!! GUYS!!!”
After another few seconds, the three of them silently agreed that they’d had their fun, and all four of them let Reki go, climbing off of him and releasing his limbs so he could curl into a ball, still giggling into the carpet.
“Aw, man!” Miya whined, drawing the redhead’s attention to him. “Look! All of his kicking ruined the game!”
It was true. There were Uno Dare cards splayed everywhere. No one could tell where one person’s cards ended and another’s began, and the draw and discard piles were intermixed as well.
“S-So you…you t-tortured me for…for nothing?” Reki gasped incredulously, pushing himself into a seated position, staring at the failure of a game before them. “What was the point, then?!”
“For fun,” Langa replied, gently nudging his shoulder with a smile. “Come on, you didn’t really hate that, did you?
Reki’s blush quickly spread all the way to his ears and neck. He hunched his shoulders and looked away. “Shut up, dude.”
“Cheer up, dude.” Langa pulled him into a hug, poking his sides sporadically to get him smiling and giggling again. “Tell you what, the next time we play you get a free pass on any dare, and you don’t have to draw any cards in place of it. I think you’ve earned that much, don’t you, Miya?”
Miya scoffed, but he was smiling. “Yeah, whatever. You get a free pass, slime.”
Reki giggled, squirming in Langa’s soft, tickly hug. “Okay, okahahahay, I’ll take it!”
The others smiled at him, Langa let him go, and they got to work gathering up the cards so they could shuffle and play again.
Miya handed him the deck. “Your turn to deal, loser.”
“What?!” Reki exclaimed.
Everyone laughed.

Big brother
Reki doesn't admit it out loud, but he loves to take care of his sisters. Koyomi is usually locked up in her room and claims she doesn't need him to babysit her so he usually ends up watching over the twins alone when their mother is away.
This time though he's asked her permission to take the little girls to the park to teach them how to skateboard.
Langa is with them; it's not a surprise, he's always with Reki. Sometimes he wonders why he spends so much time with him instead of a cute omega girl. He's a very popular alpha and has been invited to several parties, but doesn't seem interested in them for some reason.
Even though Reki is the only omega in his house (well, at the moment, they don't know about the twins yet, they're too young for that) he likes it.
When they get to the park Reki leaves Nanaka and Chihiro on the ground carefully. He sits next to them and starts putting them the helmets, knees and elbow pads. He's so focused on the task and their excitement he doesn't notice Langa has been staring at him the whole time.
Well... At least until he speaks.
"You look good with kids," he blurts out, prompting Reki to quirk up a brow at him. Langa's scent becomes more intense suddenly, almost protective, and he blushes when their eyes meet. "Would you like to have your own... someday?"
"Of course!" Reki beams at him before turning around at the twins that are constantly demanding his attention. "At least two."
"I-I'd like that too, you know?" Langa mumbles before handing him one of the boards he's been carrying.
"I'm sure you'll soon find a nice omega for you," Reki says absentmindedly, after explaining to the girls how to stand on the board. He helps one at a time, holding them firmly when they get on the board.
Chihiro chuckles and her sister pouts, already making grabby hands at him. Reki smiles at her fondly.
"Be patient, Nanaka. It'll be your turn soon enough."
"I think I-I have already found someone."
Even though he's still watching his sisters, Reki hears Langa clear enough and feels suddenly, inevitably sad, however, he wants to show his friend he supports him so he turns around and grins at him.
"That's great! What's her name?"
"Her?"
"Slime!" Miya stops right in front of Reki, prompting the twins to squeal in excitement, looking up at the cat ears over the teen's hoodie.
"Hi!" They both say at the same time to which Miya just frowns in response.
Reki suddenly remembers that the young alpha is an only child so he's not that surprised by his reaction.
"Who are they? Langa and you have pups already?"
The older alpha groans like he's in pain, covering his face with one hand. Is it really the thought of having pups with Reki so disgusting to Langa?
"They're my sisters! Chihiro and Nanaka!"
At that, the young alpha looks at him like he's been betrayed.
"You didn't say you had siblings!" Miya hisses, looking almost hurt.
"I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it a couple of times," Reki says, confused.
"You didn't," Miya insists, still upset.
"What is it, Miya?" Reki reaches out and strokes that black hair of his, for a moment the alpha leans into the touch, but he quickly moves away.
"Nothing. Anyway, I hope you pay attention because I'm about to do a few tricks. You need to learn a lot."
"Alright, but be careful because my sisters are here."
The girls seem to be really impressed with Miya, they think he's flying in the air and would like to do something like that too; Reki has to remind them they're not ready for that yet.
Langa is watching over the three of them; he's constantly asking Reki if he needs help and preventing the little girls from falling right on time.
Nanako manages to stay still enough for Reki to move her along with the board. When she giggles, delighted, Reki takes her in his arms and gives her a kiss on her little forehead. When Chihiro starts pouting, he leans to give her a kiss as well.
Finally, he notices they're not alone anymore, a group of people are looking in their direction. Langa looks particularly tense.
"Your fans are here, Miya," he says, grinning. "Well, maybe they're Snow fans too."
"They're looking at you," Miya replies, irritated. "You're acting like a perfect omega mommy again."
"What?" Reki blurts out, at the same time his brain goes: 'again?' What is he talking about?
"Are those your sisters?" A pretty girl asks, staring at him with a huge smile. She smells like a beta.
"Yes!" Reki nods. He introduces them quickly, making the girl's eyes glimmer.
"You're such a good big brother," she comments, leaning closer to him. "Can I have your num–"
A growl cuts her off suddenly; it takes Reki a while to realize that it has come from Langa.
"Are you alright?" He asks the alpha who looks a little bit embarrassed out of the sudden.
As he nods, still eyeing the girl, she decides to run away from them.
Reki would like to point out that's not a good way to get a girlfriend, but chooses to keep teaching his sisters the basics.
"Such a pretty omega," an alpha boy comments. Honestly, Reki just assumes he's talking to someone else and doesn't look up until the boy is just a few feet away from him. "You do seem to know how to take care of pups."
"Uh... Thank you?" He's not sure where the conversation is going or why he and the other people around appear to be interested in him.
Before the boy can say something else though, Langa has already walked in between them and is glaring at the other alpha like he wants him to disappear.
They stare right at each other until the other alpha nods and walks away. It's really weird.
"Reki, let's get out of here before Langa kills someone," Miya says, trying not to look worried, however, it's easy to smell the concern in his scent.
Noticing the tension on Langa's shoulders, Reki nods, rises quickly and takes both girls in his arms.
"Let's go, Langa."
The alpha doesn't hesitate, he takes the boards and follows Reki with a smile on his face.
"You're acting like a puppy," Miya tells the other alpha, rolling his eyes, but he follows them as well anyway.
"I'll see you at school, cutie!" A girl tells him, waving a hand at Reki. "I'll help you babysit your adorable sisters whenever you want!"
"Thanks!" He says, although Miya grabs him by the sweatshirt and pulls hard so he keeps moving.
Langa looks like he's going to get sick.
When they get home, Reki gives the girls a bath, puts them clean clothes, makes sure to feed them and finally takes them to their room when they fall asleep.
He doesn't realize that Miya and Langa are having a discussion in the living room.
"What was that all about, Langa? Are you alright?" He asks, sitting on the couch when he comes back. The two alphas sit right next to him at each side.
"I'm... fine."
"He was being a stupid jealous alpha," Miya informs him, prompting Langa to blush to the tip of his ears. "He doesn't like when other people hit on you."
"They weren't hitting on me," Reki protests, feeling his cheeks burning, his blush is probably matching Langa's now. "But I don't understand... what about the omega girl?"
"Reki, there is no omega girl or anybody else for that matter," Langa mumbles, taking both of the redhead's hand in his. "I just want you."
"Oh," he whispers feeling like he's been purposely blind all this time. "I... like you too."
"Would you let me scent you, please?"
Reki has started to realize that Langa is a very possessive alpha, but he kinda likes it. He nods, ignoring Miya's protests or the way he covers his eyes and enjoys when Langa nuzzles his neck.
He kisses him on the lips afterwards, but Reki can't lose himself in the sensation because Miya is already making puking sounds.
"Later," he promises Langa who's eyes darken at the thought.
"You two are disgusting," Miya grimaces.
"Miya is jealous of your sisters," Langa says in revenge.
"What? That's not true!" The young alpha hisses, turning completely red.
Reki is about to ask why, but then all those memories of Miya demanding his attention come back to him at once.
"It's alright," he says, running his fingers through the boy's black hair. "The fact that I have sisters doesn't mean I don't consider you my brother as well."
Miya tries to deny it, but something in him breaks and he jumps into the omega's arms.
"Really?"
"Yes, I consider you part of my family."
Langa embraces both of them, purring happily as he keeps nuzzling Reki on the back of his neck.
"You already scented me," he points out, amused.
"They all need to know you're mine."
Miya protests, but keeps his arms around the omega's waist.

Tumblr media
A/N: So first things first, sorry I took sooo long to finish this request. I got busy with college, and farming on Elsword. I wanted to make something really good for my first anon request, so I really hope whoever requested this one, enjoy how it turned out and have a good time reading this! god, i’m nervous
Summary: Planning to stay over the night, Miya arrive just in time to find Langa and Reki messing with each other, but their focus might change when they found out some precious information about the bratty athlete.
Word count: 1763 words
Tumblr media
The sun was slowly setting, the yellow shades covering the whole view while Miya calmly made his way up the hill, towards Reki's home. Managing to get a break from his training, the brunette could enjoy a free weekend, fact that gave the redheaded the idea to host a sleepover at his place.
Things going as smoothly as they could be, Miya arrived in front of the house not long after, with his bag hanging over his right shoulder and holding his board with the other hand. He pressed the door bell, looking around as he waited for someone to come.
"Ah, hello! You must be Reki's friend", a woman side as she opened the door to the boy. "Langa arrived already, the are at the bedroom, please, come in!"
He politely replied the woman, leaving his shoes at the entrance and taking the directions gave to him and making his way to the said room. The boy was dragging his bag around the hallway, not able to hide a little smile on his face. It had been a while since he was invited to one sleepover, even more time that he was allowed to join one.
As Miya got close, he stared to hear a few sounds, something stomping in the distance, someone bumping into the furniture. He tilted his head, it looked like it was coming from Reki's room, what would he be doing?
The younger sprinted, now able to hear that slime's voice, being as loud as usual, even more. Something that resembled a scream was followed by what seemed to be laugher, a bubbly and loud, carefree, stream of giggles. He hesitated, but pushed the door open.
"PLEHEHeheahahah- g-give mehehehee a br-breahahahaek!!" Reki pleaded, trashing his head side to side, throwing it back as he squirmed, his arms clamped down, pressing against his own sides in an attempt to protect himself while his legs flailed around, kicking the air. It tickled so bad, his body could barely move. The redheaded felt his cheeks hurt from smiling, his eyes getting watery and his face completly flushed.
"Give up and I'll stop!" was the firm reply that came from the other side, Langa, who was straddling Reki's stomach, had both his hands on the redheaded's underarms, kneading and scratching the sensitive skin mercilessly, moving his fingers however he could in the little space he had, but getting the results he wanted anyway. Langa laughed along Reki, not having the least intention to go easy on him, it was a fight, no, a war, after all.
"Uhh... Hi?", Miya tried to call their attention, having Langa glancing at him with a friendly smile and casually starting to talk to him, as if he wasn't 'torturing' someone with his very own bare hands.
"Ah, you arrived. Look, Reki, Miya's already here", he quickly turned back to look at the laughing mess under him, using a rather teasingly voice tone.
"M-Miyahahah, hel- GAHahah, hehehehlp!" Reki plead through laugher, getting interrupted by his own giggles when Langa started using a little more pressure to make him shut.
"What are you two doing?", the brunette asked, honestly curious, speaking a little louder, since whatever the blue haired did, it seemed that it made the other get even more noisy.
"Ah, Reki just picked a fight with the wron-"
"AHAHAhahah, u-uncleheheh, I-I gihihive uhuhUHUP! S-STAHAHAP!!"
"Finally! I was starting to get tired", Langa said with a victorious look on his face, stop moving his fingers and taking his hands away, finally letting the other rest. "As I was saying, he picked a fight with the wrong person."
Miya was slightly scared, Reki's soul seemed to have left his body after getting wrecked like that, watching as the boy heavily gasped for air, but, in the end, Reki was still smiling.
"T-that... was intense... hahah", he said with a weak voice, letting his body sink in the mattress as he recovered his energy.
"It sounded intense, I could hear you crying in my way here." Miya commented, not losing the chance to take his part in the teasing as well.
"I wasn't crying!", the reply came as fast as light itself, Reki sitting down and turning to younger, as if he wasn't a puddle of a laughing goo a few seconds ago.
"You totally were.", the canadian said, starting to poke the boy's tummy under him. "Right? You were crying, weren't you?"
"L-Langahahah, noo", he pleaded, grabbing both the blue haired's wrists this time and managing to push them away once for all, laying his head back again as he rested.
Miya remained quiet, just watching the whole scene. The athlete pulled his game out of his bag, making himself comfortable in the chair in front of Reki's desk, while the two of them goofed around, teasing each other about their ticklishness and so, hearing a yelp or a gasp every once in a while as they kept playing. Eventually drifting away, the brunette muttered, just loud enough to be hear. "You look like two toddlers."
"Look who is the one talking.", Langa commented as he stopped, taking his hands away from Reki once again and turning his attention to the smaller boy, thinking for a few seconds before ask, with a smirk on his lips, the first thing that came to his mind. "By the way, are you ticklish, Miya? ~"
The shiver running up his spine with those words could be felt right away, but before he could think about any excuse, Reki, already supporting his torso on his elbows answered. "He is, I played with him a while ago after practice...", the redheaded already had the same line of thought, having the same mischievous smile as the his friend.
"Oh... ~", the blue haired hummed in a pleased tone, exchanging looks with the one under him as if they were having a whole conversation just by staring at each other.  "Then-"
"No, don't even think about it," the younger replied, trying to keep things, his reactions included, under control. As he remained focusing on his game, the other two discussed something else in a lower tone, which he couldn't quite hear.
"But I didn't even said anythin-"
"That's why I told you to not even think. Besides, I can't pause the game right now."
Langa slowly slide off Reki's lap, freeing the other as they both moved closer to Miya, with Reki sitting on the ground in front of him and Langa standing by his sides. The feeling of being cornered growing, concerning Miya, but he was almost at the boss stage, just a few enemies in his game left and he could run away from that, just needed to endure a little more...
"Really? What game is it?", using both his hands to poke each of boy's exposed sides, taking advantage of the fact he was using his hands to hold the gameboy, he wouldn't be able to fight back. "Is it that hard? You seem tense.", Langa teasingly said, peeking over to see how the game was going.
Bitting his inner lip to prevent any other major reaction, Miya waited for a few seconds, making sure he would manage to speak. "Don't make things harder... you know how long it took for me to reach this bohohoss- AH! Stop it, slime!" he whined, pushing Reki's hand away from his socked sole with the other foot, not realising the couple's idea.
"But you are so good at it... I bet you can still beat him, even... with a little bit of extra challenge"
"N-nohoho!!", Miya pleaded, squirming in the chair as the other behind him started squeezing his waist lightly, clamping his elbows against his sides as he tried to focus on the game, his lips twitching with the urge to smile, to laugh.
"See? You are handing it out pretty well..." Langa pointed out, just before Reki brought one of the boy's legs to an arm lock, starting to scribble over the right fabric, eager to see the athlete crack up.
The blush slowly on his cheeks slowly become more intense, there is no way he couldn't block it all, even if he focused on the boss fight, the sensation was slowly getting more and more intense. The brunette greeted his teeth, his lips giving up and the smile already forming on his face.
It was almost like a speed run of the game, Miya was trying every item and combo as fast as he could, panicking whenever he got hit because of a body spasm. Reki and Langa, on the other hand, were having fun seeing the younger struggle so hard, they weren't even going for the blocked spots, just teasing the exposed ones, after all, they knew how upset the other would get if the tickling became too much to the point he would lost the game, however, even the slow scribbles at his foot and the clawing over his tummy were taking him to the edge of laughing.
No matter how much he pressed his arms or curled his toes, the tickling seemed to not become any more bearable. Hitting Langa's arms with his elbows or kicking Reki's back, both also seemed to bring him no results other than a more intense teasing, as some kind of punishing for using such a violent way to fight back.
The HP bar was going lower and lower, the boss was not even that hard anymore, the tickling was a much bigger problem to the younger right now. With the last bits of focus he had left, the younger managed to kill the boss, the victorious sound effect of trumpets caught Reki's attetion. "Oh, he did it?"
"Yes, it says 'Victory!' on the screen!", he pointed out, both him and Reki stopping the tickly assault, leaving Miya panting on the chair, who released a loud gasp, finally able to relax, both because of the game and the end of the teasings. "You two... ugh", he cried out, placing the game down on his lap.
"So, the game is over now?", the one behind him asked.
"Ah, no... there is one more world left- No."
"Yes! Start it, let's keep playing! I bet you can finish it!"
"No, I'm not starting until you two get away from me!"
The little arguing continued for a few more minutes, but the original topic was slowly forgot as the whole discussing lead another fight, similar to the one Reki and Langa had earlier that day. That was going to be a long sleepover, filled with boss fights and laughs.

Kiss It Better
It was 1 am and I just wanted to write dumb skater boys kissing. I miss writing kisses and they should kiss and be happy and in love. They are in love, but they should also kiss. (Also I'm on mobile so I hope the read more works)
Edit: I forgot to put the AO3 link here Can y'all tell how exhausted I am?
Reki was no stranger to injuries. Really, it was concerning the number of times he had ended up in an emergency room after a skateboarding accident. But the pain barely fazed him anymore, especially not the minor pain of scrapes and bruises. At this point, it was a daily occurrence, either from bailing while skating or from ramming his hip into the corner of a table. The latter was a little more frustrating though.
“Dude, you don’t have to make such a big deal out of it!”
Big blue eyes stared blankly at Reki before diving back into his backpack, rummaging through it. Reki sighed as he leaned back against the concrete, propped up on his elbows, his head hanging back. Langa was being dramatic as ever, making a huge deal out of what was essentially nothing more than a little scrape on Reki’s left hand. Sure, there had been a bit of blood, but the cut was barely visible! It wasn’t anything to panic over. Yet, Langa had insisted that Reki stayed put, right where he had fallen, while he hauled the backpack back to Reki before plopping himself down onto the concrete. He sat cross-legged in front of Reki while he dug through the bag, muttering something about alcohol pads and bandages.
“Those band-aids are for you,” Reki said, his eyes fixated on the swirls of reds and oranges and purples in the sky. The sun had started to set, it seemed. “Since you can’t stand the sight of your own blood. Unlike you, I can handle it. It doesn’t bother me. I don’t need patching up.”
“And I say you do.”
The firmness of Langa’s voice drew Reki’s attention back to him, his piercing blue eyes sending shivers down the boy’s spine. There was something demanding in Langa’s voice, something protective, something… pleading? Langa was worried about him? Given the way he was looking at Reki, it had to be. And Reki couldn’t refuse him, not when he was looking like that.
“Fine!”
Reki huffed as he finally let his body flop down onto the ground. Langa seemed content with the answer, returning to his scavenger hunt through Reki’s bag. This meant that Reki would have to occupy himself without his skateboard since he wasn’t allowed to get onto it until he was fully patched up. Thankfully, the ever-changing clouds in the sky were distracting enough. A bunny. A dolphin. A flower. A-
“Found them!”
A blue sky stared back at Reki, startling the boy. Langa hovered above him, holding a few sealed bandages in front of Reki’s face, a boyish grin contrasting his usual reserved and serious expression. A boyish grin that made Reki’s inside twist, his throat turning dry. He knew he could touch, that Langa wasn’t some porcelain doll that would shatter under his calloused fingers. He knew he could touch, that Langa would never refuse him the pleasure of passing his fingers through the silky blue hair, the pleasure of touching that beautiful pale skin, the pleasure of feeling those soft lips, but still, Reki resisted. Still, Reki held back.
He pressed his palm to Langa’s chest, pushing him away ever so slightly as he pushed himself up on his elbows once more, his eyes avoiding Langa’s general direction.
“Again, I don’t actually need them. The scrapes will be gone in the morning; no use in wasting band-aids on that.”
“But I want to do it for you.” A beat of silence. Then Langa was ducking his head, the blue silk falling in his face and drawing Reki’s eyes back to him. “You know, since you always patch me up after I bail? I want to do that for you. I want to take care of you, Reki.”
Oh! Reki’s heart skipped a beat. Oh, now that was adorable.
How was Reki supposed to turn Langa away when he sounded like that? Looked like that? How could Reki refuse Langa who seemed so small, so vulnerable, and oh so adorable? It was simply impossible. So Reki gave in, gave in like he always did because it was Langa asking and Langa could get him to do anything.
“Fine! Fine!” Reki sat up, presenting his scraped hand to a starry-eyed Langa. “But only because you’re cute.”
“No!” Was that a pout? “You’re the cute one.”
Reki couldn’t help but giggle at the boy. To think that the stoic and socially awkward boy he had met only a little over a year ago could end up being an absolute dork, a dork pouting because he was called cute. Reki never would have believed it if someone had told him that this would be his normal. Reki never would have believed it if someone had told him that Langa would turn out to be this dorky yet adorable boyfriend. His dorky yet adorable boyfriend.
“Well? Are you going to patch me up or are you gonna stare at me all wide-eyed until the scrapes disappear on their own?”
Langa blinked a few times before quickly turning his attention to Reki’s outstretched hand, a ghost of a touch fluttering over the scrapes. Hesitantly, he glanced between Reki’s face and his hand before carefully pulling out an alcohol swab from the makeshift first-aid kit Reki carried everywhere he went. It was pretty obvious that Langa was not in his comfort zone, not used to be the one cleaning wounds. His hands shook ever so slightly as he wiped Reki’s hands clean, but it was the gesture that counted. It didn’t have to be perfect because as long as it was from Langa, then Reki would smile ever so softly as he watched him put on a band-aid with the utmost concentration. It was the kindness and the care that had Reki fall a little more in love with the boy in front of him. It was the little things that made his heart melt.
“And,” Langa pressed one last band-aid to Reki’s palm, his long fingers passing over the fabric before curling around Reki’s, “all done. All clean.”
“Thanks, man.”
As Reki pulled his hand back, Langa’s grip tightened as he tugged the hand back towards him, surprising Reki. He felt his whole face heat up as Langa planted a kiss right in the middle of his palm, slow and careful. Reki barely felt the kiss, but he could see it happening. And he could feel it in his face, the fire that had ignited in his cheeks, in his ears, in his brain. And when Langa’s eyes met Reki’s, lips still pressed against the calloused tanned skin, a smile played on his pretty lips, a smile that drove Reki crazy.
“Kissing it better,” Langa clarified. “You always insist on the magic of kissing it better.”
“You…”
Reki huffed, finally managing to pull his hand back and holding it defensively to his chest. Langa knew what he doing to Reki. He knew that he was the reason why Reki’s face must have matched his hair. He was fully aware that it was entirely his fault and the bastard still had the audacity of looking smug about it.
Reki felt his stomach flip as Langa crawled over him, his weight in Reki’s lap while his arms caged the boy. Something glinted in those blue eyes, something Reki had never seen before. Something that terrified him, but also strangely… exciting?
“Well,” Langa licked at his lips as he glanced down at Reki’s lips, sending an electric shock down the boy’s back, “I could always give you a real kiss if you like.”
Reki’s mind short-circuited at the thought of having Langa’s hot mouth against his. He wanted, he wanted it so badly, but his body tensed at the mere thought of it. He wanted, he wanted with fiber of his body, but he shouldn’t. He couldn’t.
“I’ll be real good, I promise.”
“Okay!” Reki half-shouted in embarrassment. He had felt his eyes go wide at Langa’s suggestive tone. He had felt the twist in his gut. His face, his whole body burned as he pressed his hands to Langa’s mouth, pushing him away. Langa laughed against his hand, pretty and muffled. “Man, you can’t just say that to me! You-! I-! Dude! No!”
Reki’s hands dropped onto his lap, squeezed between his thighs while Langa straightened out, still sitting on Reki’s lap. He was laughing, hearty and unguarded, which made Reki’s heart flip. His face was also flushed, his pale skin tinted with reds and pinks. He was so beautiful. Langa was just so beautiful.
“I’m kidding, I’m kidding,” he managed to huff out, finally calming his laughter. “I didn’t mean to embarrass you.”
Something twisted in Reki once more, though this time it felt more guilty than anything. He just wasn’t particularly good with PDA. Sure, he knew he was an extremely tactile person, his hand constantly brushing against Langa’s, their shoulders bumping as they walked side by side, but everything he did, it could be interpreted as just bros being good ol’ platonic buddies. He had always been a touchy-feely person, especially with Langa, but still, it wasn’t easy being affectionate in a romantic sense. Just holding hands made his hands all sweaty and gross, his nerves getting the best of him. And god forbid they actually kissed in public-! No, Reki wasn’t ready for that. It was just too much. Just the thought was overwhelming him.
“Sorry.” Langa’s voice had gone quiet as he shifted on Reki’s lap. Reki could see he was reluctant to move but ready to do so regardless. “I really didn’t mean to…”
“S’fine, dude. I’m just… public.”
The wind caught in Langa’s hair, pushing it out of his face as he quickly glanced around the dark skatepark. How was he so effortlessly beautiful? How was Langa so damn beautiful all the freaking time? How was it that even under the shitty streetlamp, he still looked like a prince straight out of a fairy-tale? And when he looked at Reki like he was also beautiful, as if he were the only person in the world, it made him melt. Those blue eyes were only for him. Only Kyan Reki would ever get to look into them like this, see the way they sparkled like snowflakes under a bright sun.
“There’s no one around?”
Oh. Was that hope in Langa’s eyes? In his voice? Was it desire? Want? Need? Langa who, despite being reckless and shameless, was always so reserved and good, did he really want to kiss Reki that badly? And since there was no one around… Maybe it would be alright? It wasn’t like they would be interrupted or caught. No one came around this part of town, especially not at this hour.
Reki’s eyes skirted over the deserted skatepark once last time before finding Langa’s eyes once more.
“Just one.”
“Really?” Excitement, that’s what made Langa’s voice just a tad higher than usual.
“You get one kiss. That’s it.”
A grin broke across Langa’s face once more, a grin that made him glow. “Isn’t that what you always say?” Reki sent Langa a look of disapproval to which he answered by putting his hands up defensively. “Fine, fine, just one. If you can stop.”
Reki sighed at the boy before tugging him closer by the collar of his shirt. “Just shut up and kiss me.”
A breathless laugh broke from Langa’s lips before pressing them to Reki’s. Langa was like a drug; his kisses were the most addicting thing Reki had ever come across and it only took one for him to be hooked. His taste filled Reki, his sweetness hazing Reki’s mind. It wasn’t the first time he kissed Langa – it had already been weeks since their first kiss, clumsy in the middle of a shitty movie – but it didn’t mean it didn’t feel completely new each time. It had been weeks since that first kiss, but Reki just couldn’t get enough of his boyfriend’s mouth, of his kisses, of his touch. Especially not when Langa was licking at the seam of Reki’s lips, asking to be let in.
Everything happened in a blissful daze: the arms wrapping around Langa’s neck, the beckoning him closer if that were even possible, the slight fumbling to get comfortable, and the falling back onto the concrete, legs tangling as they always did. Sure, the cold ground wasn’t nearly as comfortable as a mattress, but with Langa’s arms acting like a pillow for Reki’s head, it didn’t matter. Everything was good, so good. It was so good, the feeling of Langa’s short, hot pants between the kisses. It was so good, the mumbling against each other's mouths, their names filling the little air between them. But nothing beat having their lips pressed together, wanting, needing the other. Nothing could ever beat that feeling.
Reki wasn’t proud of the whimper that left his lips as Langa pulled back completely, sitting up. The smirk was a cruel temptation. Langa was no fool; he knew damn well that he was torturing Reki as he shifted in his lap, his whole weight pressed into Reki’s thighs.
“You said one kiss, so,” Langa shrugged, lips pressed in a thin line.
“That was more than one, you fucking tease,” Reki muttered as he propped himself up on his elbows for what felt like the hundredth time that evening.
“Pulling out the big, bad words, huh?” A smirk pulled at the corner of his mouth as he leaned in to press a chaste kiss to Reki’s lips. Another whimper. Maybe even a moan. Reki wasn’t sure; he just knew he wanted more. “Wanna come over instead? Get some food, put on a movie, probably not watch the movie at all but it doesn’t matter since my mom isn’t-!”
“You stopped kissing me because you’re hungry?”
Laughter fell from Reki’s lips like the stars against the mid-August sky as his forehead hit Langa’s shoulder. He should have known. Langa had seemed hungry for both love-filled kisses and actual food.
Instinctively, Reki’s arms wrapped around the body against which he was pressed, feeling the light rumble of laughter and potentially of an empty stomach against his own body. Langa was warm. He was comfortable. He was safe. Langa was… home.
“Can we watch Spirited Away in your bed? No offense man, but your couch is shit to make out on.”
“You…” Langa shifted, causing Reki to peel himself off of him and look up at him. “You want to watch a kid’s movie while we make out?”
“It’s a good movie! And I’ve seen it like a hundred times, so I won’t be tempted to actually watch it.”
“No. I know you.” Langa’s hands found their way to Reki’s cheeks, holding his face ever so gently. “You’re gonna end up watching it. Again. For the third time this month.”
“Look! Look, it’s not my fault it constantly plays at my place! Chihiro just… she likes the movie because the main character has the same name as her. And I like it because… it’s good, man. Don’t hate on a good movie!”
Langa inhaled sharply, his eyes closed and his hands pressed against his lips. He looked like he was praying to whatever God was out there to hear him. “I can’t believe my boyfriend wants to make out with me while his little sister’s favorite movie plays in the background.”
“Well,” Reki shrugged and flopped back down on the ground, crossing his arms behind his head, “we could also not make out, I don’t care. It would be your loss, man.”
“No!” Langa was once more caging Reki with his arms, but this time, it wasn’t Reki that was panicking. “There is no fucking way I’m letting you off the hook that easily. You-!”
It was always so much fun cutting Langa off with kisses when he got a little too chatty. Every time, it would catch him off guard, his eyes growing three sizes for a fraction of a second before squeezing them shut. And his pale cheeks always turn a bright red, a color that, surprisingly, didn’t often blossom under his skin. Langa was almost always the one initiating the kisses, so having Reki be the one pushing himself up to catch his lips, it always left him a mess. Reki’s surprise kisses turned Stoic Langa, Cold Langa, Ice Prince Langa into this mess of dork, this stuttering and blushing mess of boyfriend.
Reki traced the line of Langa’s jaw, his eyes following the movement of his fingers. He had quickly learned that Langa melted at the touch, which made it a lot easier to convince him to do whatever it was Reki wanted. “You pick the food and I pick the movie or no more kisses for you.”
“Can it at least be Howl’s Moving Castle? I know you like that one too, but at least I won’t have the image of your little sisters seared into my mind while I try to kiss you senseless.”
“Fine, fine.” Reki’s fingers hooked Langa’s chin, beckoning him closer to press another kiss to his mouth. “I love you.”
“Love you too, Reki.” One kiss. “So much.” Two kisses. “Infinitely.”

RANDOM FINAL RACE IDEA
OK I GOT THIS IDEA of like Langa refusing to skate for the final to skate with Reki or is bored/unmotivated in race with ADAM... Adam notices and is in desperation mode so he kidnaps Reki on his board to make Langa chase after him. The crowd watches in horror, Tadashi finally realizes Adam going to go too fucking far and like rides off to catch up. (No one else does but ppl screaming of what to do because its clear Adam is going to try and murder Reki to get Langa interested. Others wanting to chase after them but because of the situation, afraid itll be the end of reki if they do. Tadashi only one that can because Adam will be too shocked.)
Adam lets go of reki during a jump, Langa unable to catch him as he watches Reki fall down. Langa lands and immediately skates towards where reki was but ADAM stops him. He pulls Langa towards him while he’s  stunned. Langa turned into rage mode and actually tries to beat the shit out of him. Then comes rolling down between them is Tadashi with Reki in his arms.
Tadashi pushes Reki into Langa’s arms  then makes ADAM keep his focus on him. Taking Langa’s place in the race saying how he should of fought him from the beginning. While ADAM and Tadashi race intensely... Langa and Reki are clinging tightly to each other, Langa crying cause he thought he lost Reki. Reki crying and admitting he thought the same. Then the boys realize they still moving down hill on skateboard and ride to the finish like together. skating “infinitely”. Langa confessing true feelings as they almost crossed the finish line, kissing Reki. Reki confessing back embarrassed but happy.
After they cross Tadashi wins in front of ADAM and adam is laughing having found fun in the race. Goes to say his peace to Langa, Joe stopping him from getting too close. While Langa has a deathly protective grip on Reki, reki all squished into Langa. Langa glaring at Adam, definitely not wanting him to get anywhere close to Reki.
Adam still ends up arrested but finally found what he was looking for cause of Tadashi. Reki and Langa skate each other, uwu. Also find it funny Langa want to ride on same board with Reki more so they have to make a skateboard for when they want to ride on same board =w=.
Anyway I’m new to this sk8 fandom and the spoilers for this episode got me inspired. I wanted to draw comic but that require skills uwub.

Here guys this is a quick Renga fic I wrote because I thought of the idea late at night when I couldn't sleep
Based on the ending of ep 11
TW: Blood, injury, hospital, blacking out, Ad*m
What Could Have Been
The race was nearing its finale, Reki's adrenaline rushing through his system like a strong current in a river, he could feel it, could feel the strength it was giving him as his wheels start to falter. He knew ADAM was growing near, nearer and nearer, his anger emanating from him in waves and daring to bring Reki down a peg, yet he could not let that distract him. Reki knew his wheels would not last much longer, he could feel them, he could almost pinpoint the exact moment where they would come off and spiral him out of control.
Reki let out a cry as the finish line grew close, ADAM crying out with him as the crowd around them frenzied. Just a little further, come on was all Reki could think before disaster struck him and he knew his luck had run out - his front left wheel flew out from under his board earlier than anticipated and sealing his fate. He had to act fast, do anything in his power to even stand a chance at winning, this was his final chance. With the crowd crying out his name, he pushes himself and his skateboard upwards as to not fall too soon and crossed the line with ADAM by his side.
Everything seemed silent if only for a moment, time had come to a standstill as the two of them crossed the line, slowing enough for everyone to see who the true winner was. When it all sped back up again everything came crashing down at once, - it was at this moment Reki knew that his time had come. With his adrenaline running out and the pain coming back to him at full force, his skateboard fell out from beneath him and sent him crashing into the concrete ground, his body being the only thing to skid him to a painful stop.
Reki could hear the cheers of the crowd, the chanting of his own name even though he knew he had lost, however it all seemed so faint, so quiet to him. Had he hit his head on his way down? Or was everything coming to him at once that his mind just couldn't process it all? He didn't know. All Reki could feel was the wet blood on his back, the blood on his face and the pain surrounding his core and paralysing him so that he could not move a muscle. Despite everything Reki could feel a smile on his face, he could feel laughter bubble from within him, all he could think about was the fact that this is what is felt like to be the one people are rooting for.
In a second Langa was by his side, carefully placing his hands on Reki's side in comfort as he feared for his friend's wellbeing. His careful hands on Reki had Reki smiling even more, the laughter bubbling within threatening to burst - after all he had made ADAM, the king of 'S', a laughing stock! But when the laughter did break free it wasn't what either Reki or Langa were expecting. As soon as Reki opened his mouth to laugh a spurt of blood came out in a fit of coughs that shook Reki's body, forcing him to curl up in pain.
The adrenaline had retired and a searing, agonising pain was hired in its place, much much worse than before. It had Langa crying his name, shouting something to the others who had rushed to Reki's side. Reki could see the blurred silhouettes of Miya, Joe and Cherry as they spoke to one another, scared for the safety of their friend. Langa seemed the most affected as Reki could only slightly make out the faded sight of tears on his face before his vision faded to black.
It was a day later when Reki awoke, his whole body numb and tired. He could barely even figure out where he was let alone what had happened to get him here. As his sight slowly returned to him, the blurriness fading away, he realised that the place he was in was a pure, blinding white and for a moment Reki thought he was dead. To his right was a table with cards, flowers and what appears to be a small box all wrapped up, to his left was a big machine gently beeping away with vital signs, numbers and all sorts of weird symbols. As soon as Reki could comprehend he was in a hospital he sprang up and looked around in a panicked manner, how did he get here? How did the race end? What happened? In his panic Reki sat his sights on someone he didn't even realise was resting himself on his legs, someone with hair as soft as snow and the colour of the sky.
"Langa?" Reki spoke, his voice raspy and scratched.
Langa blinked his sleepy eyes open and smiled up at Reki before sitting upright in his chair and stretching his arms out in front of him. Once he realised that Reki was awake and alert he threw himself at him, wrapping his arms around Reki's neck and burying his face in Reki's shoulder.
"Reki! Oh, Reki, you're awake..." His voice was quiet and gentle, sending shivers down Reki's back as he spoke against Reki's skin. Reki wrapped his arms around Langa's chest in return, noticing the bandages adorning his arms. How hurt was he? He could barely feel his own pain which was probably due to all the medication he'd been given. "You're awake.. you idiot, you're awake."
Holding back a laugh, Reki spoke back, remembering the race he had with ADAM and how close of a call it was, remembering the lengths he went to to make sure he would reach the finish line. It hurt to think about, but the race had not ruined his pride, only fuelled it. "You know a beef like that wouldn't take me out, right?" ""It could have done, with all the injuries you've received." Reki gave Langa a toothed smile and a head tilt that set off fireworks in Langa's heart. "Please, like a few injuries would get to me!"
Langa moved his head back to give Reki a look before laughing in relief, holding Reki closer to himself. Langa had watched it all unfold, how he saw Reki fall unconscious before his very eyes, how ADAM dared to try and walk closer to finish Reki off, and how everyone put themselves in front of Reki to protect him. Joe was the one to get ADAM to properly back off and Langa owed him the world for it as he would do anything to make sure Reki was safe. Once everything was clear Cherry announced that he'd called an ambulance and gave everyone the meeting spot for it, mentioning that it wouldn't take long for it to get there. Without a second thought, Langa had taken Reki into his arms and had raced off, only wanting to get Reki to that spot as soon as possible. Since then Langa's been waiting for Reki to wake up in this hospital, waiting and waiting, fearing the worst after he was made stable.
"You gave us a scare is all." Langa sighed, moving himself back so that he can stare into Reki's amber eyes, the light in them proving he's alive. Langa would have found himself entranced had it not been for Reki speaking up. "All of you?" "Yes, everyone came to pay you a visit, even Shadow stopped by to make sure you were okay." Reki's look dims. "Shadow... is he okay?" "He's fine, are you?" Reki pauses for a moment to think over the question. Was he okay? He still felt incredibly numb and he had, he's assuming, bandages all over his body, but despite all that? "You're here, of course I'm fine."
They smiled at each other before Langa pulled away and took Reki's hands in his own, keeping his gaze on Reki as they shared a silent but passionate moment of peace. Reki might not have won the race but as long as he had Langa by his side he'd already won at life.

Okay, so a lot to unpack today.
1. Cherry and Joe. Both the beginning and the very end scenes. I'm speechless. They literally just speak for themselves at this point.
2. I will care for and defend baby Adam. Baby Adam was innocent and precious. I refuse to care about Adult Adam, he can go jump out a window or something.
3. Tadashi you are too precious for this world. Though I wish you would've given Reki words of encouragement, I understand why you said what you said. But you did give him the motivation to finally see the reason behind skating, so thank you. And it's not Tadashi's fault that Adam is the way he is. Adam could've avoided being this way on his own.
4. Reki, I swear to god, if you run in front of one more moving vehicle I will put you on a leash until you learn not to run into traffic.
5. Adam. You cant stalk a child. The man literally had a drone just watching Langa. And now he wants to skate against Reki, again, in basically a competition for Langa's love. If Reki accepts this challenge, I believe he won't be taken down by the love hug, but that would mean that Adam would have to get more violent, like what he did to Cherry. Or Adam would straight out try and destroy Reki completely.
6. If Langa doesn't step in to protect Reki against Adam in this next episode, I will be upset. The only excuses would be either Reki wants to skate against Adam, or Langa believes Reki can do it.
7. Why'd they have to do Shadow like that. The man was innocent, he was just making sure his boss got to her car safely. Now he's been hospitalized with possible brain damage. And it's Adam's fault.
8. Miya was watching one of his only friends abandon him again. The one that said he'd always be there, was the one that was leaving him. Miya probably felt alone, even though he had Shadow and Langa. And he wanted Reki to come to the next competition so Reki could see him win.
9. Reki and Langa are back together and I am so happy. I was waiting for the high-five and it was so beautiful. And the title reference made the conversation so much more meaningful. My heart can only take so much.
I think I covered all my thoughts, if not, oh well.

Fluff prompt: Langa teaches Reiki French so they can visit Langa's hometown of Quebec.
Okay let me just say this is an adorable prompt. I just don’t know any French and had to look up words and I’m not 100% sure if they’re Canadian French, so I’m sorry about that. I hope it’s still cute and a soft thing to read. Hope you enjoy <3
“Let’s start with something easy: skateboard,” Langa said in a bit of an accent, but Reki blinked at him.
“Skateboard is just skateboard?” He asked in Japanese. Langa nodded then shrugged.
“Apparently.”
Reki laughed.
           “Come on! Take this seriously! Give me an actual word I’ll need for being in Quebec with you!”
“I am taking this seriously but I-”
Langa looked thoughtful. Reki really wanted to learn his language for him and he couldn’t help but feel flattered at the gesture.
           “Well, uh,” Langa thought for a moment. “I’m going to be with you a lot of the time, but if you want to ask for a bathroom or something or for food other than what we get at Joe’s restaurant—”
           “Are you saying Canada doesn’t have Italian food?” Reki demanded, causing Langa to get flustered all of a sudden. He scoffed and laughed it off.
           “No, I’m just saying you might need to learn a few basic sentences if you wanna survive without me in some parts of Canada for a few days.”
Reki deflated.
           “But I thought we were going together.”
Langa immediately tried to back track upon seeing Reki’s adorable puppy dog eyes.
           “W-We are, I just meant, i-if you’re ever alone for some reason and need to know how to do a few things. We’re visiting my relatives too, so you gotta be able to communicate with them a little. It’ll make them happy y’know?”
Reki’s mouth gaped open as he stared intently at Langa.
           “I-I’m meeting your relatives?” Reki asked, his eyes as big as dinner plates. He really did look like a puppy, good lord. Langa felt heat rise along the back of his neck and he placed his hand there nervously.
           “Well, Mom wants to go back with us so she can visit the family we left behind when we moved to Okinawa, b-but—”
Reki grabbed Langa’s face in his, forcing the blue-haired boy to look at him in the face.
           “That means a lot to me, that you want me to meet your other family,” He said quietly, but Langa could tell Reki hoped he was coming off as sincere and it was clear that he was.
           “Oh.” Langa said simply, unable to hide his blush with the red-headed boy’s face right there.
           “I’m-I’m happy you wanna come with me.”
They stared at each other for a bit too long, before Reki looked away, going back to his desk, remembering what they were supposed to be doing.  It was only a week before the plane ride to Quebec and they needed to prepare at least a little. The two of them were always accustomed to going back to Reki’s place when doing anything other than skating so why change that?
           “Ok, okay uh, how about ‘nice to meet you’?” Reki suggested.
           “Ravi de vous rencontrer,” Langa replied.
           “Ravi de what what?” Reki asked and Langa couldn’t help but laugh.
           “Hey! Don’t laugh at me! I’m really trying here!” Reki shouted, but he was grinning. Langa just kept laughing and Reki punched his arm affectionately.
           “Stop!” Reki exclaimed.
           “Ok, okay, I’m sorry.” Langa said, regaining his breath.
           “Say it one more time,” Reki told him.
           “Ravi de vous recontrer,” Langa repeated, this time emphasizing the syllables a bit more and smiling when Reki got it almost right that time.
           “Okay, how about ‘where’s the bathroom?’” Langa asked.
Reki crossed his arms over his chest and shook his head.
           “Real mature, Langa.” He said.
           “Oh c’mon, it’s practical at least!” Langa protested.
           “How about…I love you?” Reki asked, his face turning red.
Langa looked confused.
           “Why would you tell my relatives you loved them?” Langa inquired, completely oblivious.
Reki hid his face in his hands, too embarrassed to say anything.
           “You’re an idiot.” He mumbled into his hands.  It took a second but Langa eventually got it.
           “je t’aime aussi,” Langa said, without thinking much about it as his cheeks reddened.
           “What?” Reki looked up, taking his hands away from his face.
           “I love you too,” Langa said quietly, covering his mouth after he said it. Reki’s surprise was apparent by his mouth gaping open again but then he started tearing up, happy tears forming at the brims of his eyes.
           “You do?” He asked, jumping into Langa’s arms like he had after Langa’s beef with Miya was successful.
           “Uh, y-yeah,” Langa replied, his front leg slipping a bit as he braced his other one as Reki’s full weight crashed down upon him. He took the opportunity to wrap his arms completely around the shorter boy’s shoulders, shutting his eyes as he pressed his body into Reki’s in a tight embrace. They were still in Reki’s house and anyone could walk in at any moment, so this would have to do for now. Maybe when they were alone, truly alone, they could have another moment like this where no one would interrupt them. Reki held him tightly towards his own body and they just stood there in his room, holding each other close and not letting go, feeling protected and safe in each other’s company.
           “Don’t ever leave me again,” Reki said into Langa’s neck, his voice trembling with vulnerability. “Please.”
           “Never.” Langa promised, holding Reki even tighter.

Kaoru Sakurayashiki knew his value and his place as an Omega Prince. He might have been born as a High Prince, descendant of the great Sakurayashiki House, which rules the Sun Elvish Kingdom, but at the end of the day, beside his lineage, he was still an Omega, a child who cannot ascend the throne. Of course, for his whole life he was treated with the respect and care he deserved, being prepared to become a suitable First Prince, until his brother, Langa, was born. The small Alpha has quickly taken his place in the line, but Kaoru was not angry with that. He loved his brother deeply, maybe even more than he loved his parents.
The High Prince, after his baby brother was born, got the freedom he never knew before. He was growing up, throwing himself into his studies. He was spoken to be the wisest of the family, more intelligent even than his grandfather, who was believed to be the greatest king in the history of the Elvish Kingdom. Many thought that if only he wouldn’t have been born as an Omega, he could have achieved even more. Kaoru was not only brilliant, he was brave and he was a visionary. He was not afraid of combining magic with technology, creating weapons and useful tools.
If he would had been born as at least Beta, he could have lead the army. But Kaoru was not concerned about that too.
The reason behind that was the Moon Elvish Kingdom’s Prince, Shindo Ainosuke. They met when they were both six years old. Firstly too shy to talk to each other, soon they realized they share a lot. Their parents were friends, so Kaoru and Shindo spend a lot of time together growing up. At some point, Kaoru was charmed by a young Alpha. They even shared a messy, a bit tipsy kiss in the garden, during some party. At that time Kaoru knew that one day he will marry this man. The Union between Sun Elves and Moon Elves, an alliance against the Demon Empire. Shindo, the Alpha, would lead their army to the victory on the battlefield, and he, Kaoru, would lead the rest of the country as his Consort. The mere thought of them, living such a bright future, was enough to send shivers down his spine.
One can only imagine Kaoru’s confidence, when at the day of his 19thbirthday, he was summoned by his father to his study. Omega Prince already knew the news: he will get married soon, in less than a month, in order to seal the alliance. He was more than ready to leave his title as a Sun Prince behind and become the Consort of the Moon King. Kaoru could only imagine new opportunities, lying in front of him. He was dreaming big.
“My King”, he said, greeting his father with a little bow. “You have requested my presence.”
“Yes, Kaoru. Sit down please.”
Kaoru sat in front of his father desk. He enjoyed the atmosphere of the King’s study. The room could be a little dusty, but it smelled of pine trees and lemon. One of the servants put a cup of tea in front of him and left quietly. “I think you are aware of the topic we need to rise today, Kaoru.”, his father looked a bit tired. His hair has turned white few years ago, but they used to be the same color as Langa’s.
“Yes, father.”, Kaoru said respectfully. “I know my duty as a Prince. I will marry the King.”, he said with a little smile on his lips. Of course he would marry The Moon King. Shindo was his friend, and now he will become his husband and lover…
“I am pleased to hear that, my son. I must admit that I was worried at the beginning. You were not raised like other Omegas and I was expecting you to rebel against my decision.”
“My King, I could never. The Union of two Elvish kingdoms will bring peace-”
“Kaoru, wait,” his father interrupted him. “I think you got the wrong idea, my child. You are not going to marry King Ainosuke.”
His world fell apart. Kaoru opened his mouth a bit, like a fish out of water, unable to breathe. He must be dreaming some nightmare. It could not have been real. Marrying Shindo Ainosuke was his destiny. There were friends, they would make such a good couple… It could not get worse.
“The Moon King was not interested in your hand,” his father explained. “Moreover, I think our Langa should marry Ainosuke’s younger brother. You, my child, you will marry The Demon King.”
Oh. So it could be worse.
“What-.. Father, please. Think about it again,” Kaoru said, pale and shocked.
“You have told me you know your duty, Kaoru. Your marriage will ensure the peace between us and The Demon Empire.”
Kaoru was thinking fast. He had to do something in order to stop this madness. There had to be a way for him to avoid being wedded to the barbarian Demon King. He needed to contact Shindo quickly. If The Moon King will hear about this, he would definitely change his mind and marry Kaoru, the Omega was sure about that. Ainosuke would never let Kaoru be taken away to The Demon Empire, moreover, to be married off to the brutal Alpha. He had a month, a whole month to cancel this insane plan and came up with a better one…
“Our guests will be here tomorrow, Kaoru,” his father said, as if he knew what was going through his son’s head. “Both The Demon King and The Moon King. We are going to sing a pact and then you will marry Nanjo Kojiro, The Demon King, and our Langa will be engaged to Prince Reki.”
“What?”, Kaoru could felt his lips moving on their own. “Aino.. The Moon King knew about that?”
“Of course he knew, Kaoru. It was his plan after all.”
“Master, are you alright?”
Carla’s quiet, emotionless voice brought him back to reality. Kaoru did not sleep that night. He was betrayed by the whole world. All his plans, dreams, ideas… All was destroyed in one moment. Both his family and his friend sold him to The Demon King. He was a tool, a bribe to The Demon Empire. Of course, he understood the reasons behind that. Langa, an Alpha, had to marry and Omega, so Prince Reki was a perfect candidate. And there was not a need to unite two countries with two marriages, so the spot for Kaoru’s husband was left open. Selling him off to the Demons were the best idea. Even if he dies, not matter how and when, Demons will be shackled with the pact. Moreover, if he dies after he gives birth to the Demon King’s heir, the child will link two counties even harder.
“Master? You look…”
“Terrible, I know”, Kaoru replied, looking at himself in the mirror. He was dressed in furisode, white with cherry blossoms embroidered at the bottom of the sleeves. His pink hair was carefully combed and Carla put a cherry blossom hair pin into it. She also put a little make up on his face, to cover dark circles under his eyes.
“Worried. You are worried, my Lord,” the girl said. She learned about the future of her master and decided to go to the Demon Empire with him. Kaoru saved her few years back and it was her duty to protect him. “And I am no surprised.”
Kaoru looked at her in the mirror. Carla’s skin was darker than his, she had black hair and purple eyes. She was half-human, half-elvish. Many would despise her, but Kaoru found her pretty, smart and loyal. He could not imagine his life without her anymore.
“Thank you, Carla. I think we should get going. Our… guests… will be here soon.”
“I overheard the guards, Master. The Moon King and his people are already in the Capital. The Demons were spotted near the border, they will be here in less than an hour.”
Less than an hour and he will meet his future husband. Less than a twelve hours and he will be married to The Demon King. Less than a day and he will be mated to the barbarian King. In less than two days, he will leave the Sun Elvish Kingdom ans travel up north, to The Demon Empire. He would be lucky if he dies in the meantime.
Kaoru was scared. When he was thinking about being wedded to the Shindo, he was a bit nervous, but sure that their intercourse would be gentle, sweet even. He was dreaming about The Moon King caressing his body, worshiping it before they connect with each other. Kaoru was dreaming about children, with blue or pink hair, running around and making their lives even more meaningful. Now he was scared that The Demon King will force him every night to sleep with him, force his body into his until Kaoru will give him an heir. He will simply fuck him, like a whore.
“Master, you are…”
“It’s fine, Carla. I’m ready.”, the Omega Prince said, wiping a tear from his cheek. He was an Omega Prince, who knows his duty. His life and his body do not matter, if he could buy a peaceful life for his people with it.
Kaoru stood at the top of the stairs, when Demons arrived. He was holding his head high, forcing a little smile on his lips. He will never show his fears and anxiety to those, who were around him. For them he was a definition of the perfection, and Kaoru was more than ready to uphold his reputation. He could be falling apart on the inside, but on the outside he will never show.
Of course, the first person he spotted, was The Demon King himself. Riding the biggest horse Kaoru has ever seen in his life, the Alpha was dressed all in black. He had green hair, which makes him look like a giant tree. When The Demon King came closer, Kaoru saw small horns at the top of his head, partly hidden inside of his hair. The Alpha was smiling lightly, with such confidence, that it made Kaoru annoyed.
The Omega Prince was not small, but when the Alpha dismounted the horse, Kaoru straightened up. It did not help much; he still was smaller than the Alpha and the top of his head reached slightly above the place the heart should be, if The Demon King had one.
“I shall welcome you, my guests,” Kaoru’s father took a step towards the Demons. Elves and Demons have not met since the last war. Kaoru knew his father and The Demon King must have exchanged letters, but this… This was a milestone in their history.
“King Sakurayashiki,” The Demon King smiled. “It’s a pleasure to meet you in person.”
When the Demon moved his hand, Kaoru was sure he is going to stab the Elvish King. But instead they simply shook their hands as a greeting. Then the Demon welcomed The Moon King the same way. He exchanged few words with the nobles, at the end finally standing before him. “I hope,” the Demon King smiled to Kaoru’s father, “That his is your precious son.”
“You got it right, Lord Nanjo. This is my older son, Kaoru. The one who is betrothed to you.”
Kaoru felt a lump in his throat. He was glad he hadn’t listened to Carla and haven’t eaten anything, because at that moment he felt nausea. What a great beginning it would be, if he throw up on his fiancee feet.
The Alpha was big. Bigger than any man Kaoru knew. His shoulder were large and Omega was sure that The Demon King could kill anybody with his bare hands. For what reason he had a sword, attached to his belt, if he clearly does not need it? Moreover, he smelled like a danger. A mixed scent of sweat and sandalwood.
“You wasn’t making this up,” the Demon King said, “When you wrote me he is beautiful.”
Kaoru felt anger, boiling inside him. Does the Demon Lord think that he is deaf? He was talking with his father about him, without actually speaking directly to the Omega! Disrespectful ogre, Kaoru thought, but bit his tongue.
“Good afternoon, my dear Prince”, the Demon King finally spoke to him. “Forgive me my surprise, but you are breathtaking.”
Kaoru used his fan to cover half of his face, forcing a small smile. You were fine breathing and talking nonce just a second ago, you brainless gorilla, he thought.
“Welcome to the Sun Elvish Kingdom, my Lord.”
I hope you will die during this trip, Kaoru added in his mind.

reki's entire body was in pure, aching agony. it felt like his entire was burning, collapsing in on itself. it felt like any second, he was going to keel over and curl in on himself. all he wanted to do was keel over and curl in on himself, shut his eyes, and sob and cry and scream with his pain.
but he doesn't let any of that show as langa sits him down on the floor of his room, medkit in his hands. he'd been fretting over reki since the second the beef had ended, insisting on being the one to carry him. reki had tried to convince him that no, he was okay, he didn't feel any of it. but langa refused that response, and had taken matters into his own hands. literally. he'd slid one arm under reki's knees and the other around his shoulders and then lifted him like he was a goddamned princess!
which didn't help reki, because of that weird dream he'd had the previous night, where he really was a princess and langa had been his prince. he'd been so shocked he'd ceased speaking and struggling, and langa ended up carrying him all the way to his house.
honestly, reki liked feeling like a princess. not that he'd admit that outloud.
so here they are now, langa popping the medkit open to grab the nessecary supplies to clean his wounds. the adrenaline had long since faded from his body, and so now he was hunched over, eyelids heavy. "let's get your shirt off," langa said, and reki groaned, forcing his eyes open, forcing his body to move. langa helps him remove his shirt, and then there are feather light touches down the ridge of his back where langa carefully brushed his fingers, hissing in sympathy. "this looks bad, reki. but i'll do what i can."
"be careful," reki mumbled, even though he knows he didn't need to. he knows langa would use only carefully light touches anywhere on him. his nerves were just frayed right now.
langa slowly cleans, and a comfortable silence falls over them. reki thinks he may have dozed off at one point, since the feeling of langa's cleaning faded away. he's awoken suddenly by the feeling of something being pressed to different parts on his back. it wasn't a cotton ball, or a towel, but it was light and smooth and ever so soft.
his eyes peel open, and his breath catches when he realizes what it was. langa was leaned over him, his hands carefully holding the fronts of reki's shoulders to keep him from toppling forward. and just out of the corner of his eye, reki could see what he was doing.
his face was hovering just over reki's back, eyes half lidded as he presses the gentlest of kisses to each of the bruises and scrapes in the damaged skin. rekis heart skips a beat at the softness of it all. langa is so focused on kissing reki's wounds, he doesn't even notice that the redhead was no longer dozing.
reki stays absolutely still as to not break the spell, even as his cheeks do heat up.
no one has ever been this gentle with him before. it makes his chest warm and his stomach fill with butterflies from the intimacy of it.
another light kiss, this time on the largest of bruises, and reki can't stop the hiss of pain from escaping between his teeth. langa pauses, and finally catches his watching eye. a light pink colors his cheeks, but reki smiles softly at him, and he gets brave. he returns to his mission, moving up to the bruises on his neck, from the punching adam had dealt. reki's breath stutters, and he angles his neck to the side, allowing easier access. langa's grip on him tightens in the slightest, with the need to protect and comfort.
he vowed then and there he would never let reki get hurt by anything ever again.
langa's lips brush the corner of reki's jaw, and his cheeks catch fire from the action. he tightly grips the fabric of his jeans as to keep himself from hiding his face, and therefore ending this moment. langa seems to revel in his flustered expression, his mouth turning up into a sly grin between butterfly kisses.
lips reach his temple, where adam had punched him hardest, where the skin was split. there was already a bandage there, but langa kisses it anyway, his fingers curling inwards to lightly scratch reki's bare chest. reki doesn't mind, his eyelids drooping with the bliss he was feeling.
finally, langa is gently guiding reki's face with one of his hands, urging him to meet his gaze. reki can feel his blush deepening at the amount of pure and utter love in langa's blue eyes, crystals reflecting his image. and for a moment, even if it is fleeting, reki could see how langa views him: beautiful, perfect, amazing, his. and reki was his, as he was reki's. they were meant for one another, on and off of skating, in anyway.
langa hesitantly leans forward, and their lips meet. reki can't help but smile, even as his entire face turns a bright red.
langa bandages him afterwards, helping him into bed. he stays with him that night, curled carefully around his form.
reki never felt so safe.
