my grandmother finally seems to be recovering from covid but my grandfather is still in the hospital. he's on oxygen and he thinks it's 1994. i hate this.
#i'm terrified and anxious which is to be expected but what i didn't expect was the rage#i went grocery shopping today and i wore a mask as usual and i just.....hated every single person in that store#i don't usually notice if i get weird looks from people but this time i did and i wanted to tear them apart with my bare hands#the thing about covid is that it did not bring people together and it sure as shit did not restore anyone's faith in humanity#it just illuminated the fact that nobody gives a shit about anyone else#and apparently the majority of people think elderly people and immunocompromised people are disposable#anyway psa: covid is on the rise again and people are dying so maybe do the bare fucking minimum and put on a goddamn mask#personal
