ENGINEER : engie doesnt bash it because hes glad folks have their hobbies and he can admire the creative skill and ability of the community. pyro draws him as a beaver sometimes (non anthropomorphic, just a beaver with a hardhat, goggles and overalls) and he doesnt mind and it starts becoming his favourite animal because of that. i dont think he'd ever really directly identify with the community though. probably calls them 'furbies' from time to time because he forgets the word. SPY : spy thinks theyre all degenerate freaks and is happy to loudly claim this. he has several incredibly expensive suits and attends cons frequently. hes been here for years. he tries to sneak around it and deny anything to do with them but the team Knows. they all know. MEDIC : i honestly didnt know for him. other mod suggested he has an awful flesh homunculus fursuit that lives and breathes on its own. you crawl inside and its sticky and wet and warm and pulses. doesnt even have anything to do with the subculture.

1. Rise movie and Mutant Mayhem are tied (theyre both really good but in. Like. Different ways??? Rise is more darker and emotional, but MM is way more funny. Both feel like genuine products of love though, top tier animation.)

2. Live action 90s movies, I genuinely cannot understand what they're saying but I love these movies.

3. Ehhhhh...? The 2007 movie IG??? (I genuinely slept through the first Bayverse movie on accident so I don't remember that one i'm SORRY. But also the main villain in the 2007 movie looks like Markiplier.)

Finrod is the first elf to meet every human experience, the first to look at the short, brutal, boring, joyful, silly, brave lives of men, the different shape their courage takes in adversity, and fall in love with it. Also with Balan! Both at exactly the same time.

And he never falls out of love, and he keeps loving him after death and rebirth, and neither himself nor the world will never be as strange and precious and delightful to anyone, including in his own eyes, as he was to Balan who loved in a way that was entirely foreign, and knew him better than all his kin for sharing the same deep and encompassing hunger and commitment to know. Even when understanding was difficult, even when to conceive it they had to invent new words in each other’s strange language. So. That's fun!

But also: the getting-to-know-each-phase of it all, lasting well after Bëor dies, yes, but in the moment too. Their cultures are incredibly different, but the literal differences are also to be considered. Finrod keeps turning back while walking huge hills to see what the problem is, sword in hand, but Balan is just sitting in a rock eating cheese ready to complain that at this pace he’s getting a heart atack and has to explain what that is to a horrified elf prince. Etc. They're sweet! They're living the first contact love story of all times! They care enough about each other that it ripples through history long after the tree under which they met rots and dies, and the continent where they are both buried sinks, and the stories people tell of them are sang in languages they will never hear.

Hello! 🙌🏾

You can call me Forte. I'm a Brazilian writer, essayist, and film screenwriter. My work is influenced by the new Latin American fiction of magical realism, post-boom literature, philosophy, and African diaspora culture. I write in Portuguese and English, and in addition to being an aspiring novelist, I’m also a sound technician, activist, and lover of good music.

I started writing as a teenager, mostly short stories. I was in the habit of keeping a journal at that time too—something about being able to write down my feelings helped me cope with them. In high school, I wrote more fanfiction than original fiction because it seemed like an easier and more comfortable genre for me. Fanfic is very forgiving, which made it a lot less intimidating than writing something new from scratch. After high school, I went on to college and got a degree in Film Studies. My focus was screenwriting, but I fell in love with being a boom op (audio technician) during my internships, so when I graduated, I pursued film production instead.

A few years later, I decided I wanted to be a writer again. And now I’m here back on Tumblr, sharing what I can.

This blog will be focused primarily on my two current work-in-progress, NOCT WIP and Saint WIP. They are both young adult novels, though they have different themes, settings, and tones. I plan on posting some snippets/excerpts of each periodically, along with character profiles, behind-the-scenes information, and general updates on how the process is going.

NOCT WIP is a dark academia novel set in a prestigious music conservatory. The story follows a music quartet through their senior year, focusing mainly on their relationship dynamics while also dealing with personal issues such as generational trauma, abuse, mental health problems, and grief.

SAINT WIP is a MM fantasy novel, following two young men in a city burning with revolutionary fervor. The story focuses heavily on political shenanigans, the relationship between class and power, and the struggle of identity and self-discovery. Demons, anarchy, and violence are woven throughout this one.

Both books are currently in early drafts, so please bear with me if I post anything unfinished or rough around the edges! But hopefully you'll enjoy reading what I've written so far.

One day at the teahouse, the sun was shining warmly for the first time in a long time, while the cold days continued.

As they walked to his office they saw many mercenaries day decorations 'oh shoot was it already that time of year' they thought, they reached his office finally y/n walked into his office "morning jr sleep well?" Yes, he knows he has been nothing but cruel in denying the MC (for the MC's own sake the sake of the his personal cause) and has hoped against hope for them to find someone far better than him. To have that someone be the pseudo-father-brother-mentor abomination of Dearil, a man whose intentions he knows will lead nowhere good for the MC . . . it's a striking challenge to his loyalty towards Dearil, as well as the former closeness he felt with the man.

To Dearil, Bones is a (horribly sentimental) reflection of his younger self and a handy pawn whose absolutely loyalty may prove advantageous in times to come. Occasionally, to his own utter dismay, he does feel a sense of genuine care and protectiveness over the troubled young man - and he admits that he would happily kill anyone who even posed any harm to his strange "friend". This feud over the MC would at first seem dismissible to him as he assumes Bones will concede over his jealousy since the young man has no (proclaimed) intentions of accepting your heart. The more his desire for the MC visibly upsets Bones, however, the more he wrestles between challenging Bones on his childish antics (claiming you while rejecting you like a spoiled and greedy child) or trying to appease the man's heartbreak over you (yet his own possessiveness leashes him back from doing so). In time, Dearil would grow spiteful over his gnarled concern for the shaken bond he has with his protégé.

Mm, it's also quite interesting to consider Uriel and Hopscotch in this dynamic. Uriel would instantly back Bones, pestering encouraging him to not give up hope his pursuit of your heart. If Bones managed to succeed in rekindling some returned passion from you then it's all the better for lessening his competition for Dearil's heart.

Hopscotch (the unnamed but generally assumed protégé to Uriel), on the other hand, would be the #1 shipper for Bones and the MC if there was a romantic history between them . . . but that passion for Bones' happily-ever-after with you would burn out quick if you had a simultaneous, ongoing romance with Dearil as well (past the minor romance lock-in).
