Hard Stoned Gallery Dance
Tumblr media
A/n: This was made like monthhsss ago, so I’m posting it as forgiveness for the lack of work i’ve been doing.
Pairing: [ Monster!Twst ] Malleus Draconia x Reader
Summary: Dancing is a beautiful past time, yet such a pretty act is ruined, when Malleus decides to let his affections for you run rampant. (Wc: 1.9k)
Warnings: Kissing & Licking, Murder/Death of Minor Characters (Not explicit), Possessive traits, Clinginess bordering obsession, a little blood, Biting/Marking

Your head leans itself on the rough surface of the stone wall. You’ve finished your objective for the day, so giving yourself this break is well deserved, ten minutes free of Crowley’s nagging is still freedom despite how it sounds. Your eyes can’t help but look up at the pretty blue sky, it stings to look at but you don’t mind the pain, seeing something so clear is worth it.
That cloud looks like a cat.
The taste of indulgence is quickly stripped out your grasp when the familiar sound of dragging stone resonates through the air, grating to your ears.
“Child of hunters, what may you be doing here?” His rock-hard face interrupts your view of the sky, green solid eyes look down on you as he casts a shadow on your visage.
Despite his body being made of pure stone, his eyes give a faint green glow, as if a bioluminescent moss grew there. His hair, his wings, and even his tail freely flowed as if he were just a regular Dragon hybrid. But alas, he is some sort of statue— Oh no not a statue, in his words a gargoyle.
You forgot about the difference one time and in turn, he gave you a 3-hour lecture on the difference between a grotesque and other gargoyles. Never again…
“I’m trying to hide from my boss.”
“Shall I be rid of him for you?” His mouth forms a little o as a small puff of a green flame releases from him.
“That would be a bad idea, I’d lose my source of income.” He quirks an eyebrow up at this., to be fair, you don’t think he has any clue what a “payday” is.
Despite his confusion, he lifts from his bowing form, a hand reaching out towards you in all its mossy glory. You’ve known him long enough to know what he wants.
A dance.
You don’t try to hide your exasperation as you take his invitation, albeit a bit slow. His stone body quickly pulls you up and into him. With how much tamer his form is compared to other beasts you know, it’s hard to remember that he’s part dragon, and even worse is part of the only few monsters who know magic.
So as of right now, this marks your third time dancing with one of the worst monstrosities currently on the bounty list. No maybe not one of the worst… From what you remember from Crowley’s ramblings (which isn’t much since you tune him out when possible) he’s probably the most dangerous.
You get the basic idea, but you’ve never truly seen for yourself why he’s considered so terrible. Is he not just a glorified water spout? Compared to a Kraken and an Incubus, surely his damage isn’t so grand to be warranted as the biggest beast to hunt.
“You’ll always be welcomed in my castle, you would not be short of accommodations either.” his hand rests upon your waist, pulling you closer than need be. His invasion of personal space is akin to a parasite leeching off its host, but you let him feed of you. Whether it’s from fear or a bond, you’re not decided.
Your movements are sluggish at best, but you can still remember the basic steps in the dance, your foot sloppily setting itself down where it should be, the occasional step on stone happening once or twice though.
“Considering the current state it’s in… is that even safe for me to walk in…? It looks like one good shout and the bricks holding the place together will crumble apart…”
“That is just the disguise we give it, as to not alert others of our presence. For you though, I’m willing to make it stand out if it makes you happy.” The hand lying on your waist retracts itself as he takes his other clawed limb and twirls you around, falling back into position when the spin is done.
“… I’ll think about it.”
“I’ll wait as long as it takes.” You know he’s not lying about that. You can distantly recall when a certain mystery monster had told you the tale of a longing dragon who perched himself at the opening of his window to wait for a certain hunter's return.
“Yes, he was so determined to be the first one to greet you, why he even stayed sat at the window for 5 months. It was quite endearing hehe.”
“Doesn’t it take hundreds of years for you to erode? Maybe it’ll take me 50 years to decide, by then I’ll be old and grey and you’ll be perfectly fine.” You take a step forward before the gargoyle's grip on your body tightens significantly, shrieking when he suddenly dips you down unprepared.
His freed hand takes your other arm and lifts it up to rest on his shoulder. Green sparkles are faintly flying around his lips as he slowly leans into the soft skin on your arm. His face leans in and presses chaste kisses on your limb, the gentle texture of his mouth catching you off guard as it tickles your body. Now you get it, he must’ve cast a spell to temporarily soften his lips.
He had attempted to kiss you once without taking this precaution, in turn, you gave him a face filled with discomfort at the stone texture that kept peppering you.
You can still remember the hurt face he had on when he saw your dislike towards his affections.
On his ninth kiss, his forked tongue peeks out from his mouth, licking a stripe up your skin. He finally lifts you up after the assault on your arm, his face only a few inches away from your own. It would’ve been quite the romantic atmosphere, had your nose not catch a sharp smell, and a horrible wretched one at that.
“You could be on your last breath and I’d still wait for an answer. But I hope that won’t happen.”
“Who knows, I work a dangerous job.” what is it?
The both of you twirl in unison despite the lack of music, your bodies in tandem as they move to just the sound of your surroundings. Though, your body is a little more sluggish than his own.
That stench… Is too familiar.
Eventually, your last steps fade out as you stop in your tracks.
“Is something wrong dear hunter?” Your grip on his shoulder fastens, if he was human you’re sure you would’ve broken his shoulder.
“What did you do?”
A smile is lit on his lips, his head tilting to the side, giving you such an innocent look, like he did nothing wrong.
“Whatever are you talking about?”
“The smell… Iron… This whole time I thought it was just the smell of the forest. But…” You swiftly pull a dagger out from your side, throwing it past his shoulder, the tip of the steel piercing into what sounded like wood.
He doesn’t turn back, only continuing to smile at you, as if you’re the only existing thing here, or more accurately, the only thing he cares about.
The bark of the trunk splits in half, falling to the ground, revealing the source of the stench. The top of the tree isn’t green, it’s red and brown.
4 pairs of hands stick from the leaves.
“You… What did you do Malleus–?!“ he’s quick to twirl you again, his grip on you tighter than it’s ever been. Despite your protests, he continues dancing as if you hadn’t seen anything.
You’re suddenly stricken with the memory of your first meeting with the beast, blood coating his mouth when he looked at you, pure admiration when he had finally met the muse everyone spoke so dearly of.
“Malleus, you—!“
“Tell me, dear human, was it not you who spared me?” He dips you down. “Was it not you who saw a beaten beast and allowed him to live?” He lifts you up. “Even as you walked away with a piece of stone you let go of one who’s rendered thousands over the years,” he pulls you in. “Dead” every action with your body is harsh, but not enough to hurt you, never enough to hurt you.
Because why would he ever wish to harm you?
He’d much rather smother you in affection, even when you’re exerting all your energy to kill him as he hugs you.
“It’s because you…”
“Looked so human?” He continues to keep you close, impossibly so, your skin melting into his, not from fawness, but fear.
“How did you know-“
“You’ve spared so many of us because we made you feel something in the moment,” he must be referring to everyone else… The look you gave him is dazed, caught up in the thought of every other monster you let get away. His fingers cage your chin in between them. “But don’t forget what we are.” Sparkles fly, temporarily blinding you.
When you open your vision, you’re greeted by the sight of Malleus, with the appearance of what he looked like if he was human, or at least similar to a human.
His skin isn’t rough and solid, his breaths are warm, and his hair is soft and pretty rather than a soft moss.
His eyes are a nice green, a pretty green. A color you would’ve enjoyed more had he been a human. Such a lively color shouldn’t be backdropped by crimson, yet, it is.
Behind him, several other trees collapse on themself, revealing the other tops, the same as the tree you had just seen. Views of stray limbs and vaguely familiar faces of hunters invade your mind, panic setting as you finally realize a question you should’ve asked long ago…
Why was Malleus so far from his castle?
Before you can react, your ears hear a faint whisper, eyes going heavy as little pings of thorns claw at your shoes. The last thing you see and feel, is his face leaning towards you, his finger loosening itself from your chin.
In a blink of an eye, he’s no longer the human you spared, but the monster you let escape back into the wild.
The fiendish of smiles is graced on his lips. Not because of evil, but because his smile, is so love stricken.
All because of you.
Tumblr media
“Seems the little birdy fled the nest without permission.” Your eyes slowly flutter open, the familiar figure of a man bowing on top of you. “Now, I’ll forgive you as we weren’t expecting such a beast to appear-“
He’s immediately cut off in his sentence when a searing pain cuts through his chin.
“Augh—! How could you kick me after I spent precious time searching for you!“
“You’re the reason I’m here in the first place…!“
“I didn’t do anything!“ Despite your annoyance towards Crowley and all he stands for in your life, you can’t deny if someone had seen this scene play out in front of them, they would assume you two to be a father and his bickering child.
You attempt to stand to your full height, faltering at the pings of pain in your ankle. You suck in a breath, looking down as you nurse hurt skin.
There are briar thorns wrapped around your leg, a single rose adorning the stems, and a gentle green hue that contrasts the pure black of the floral life.
“Oh my, what were you doing last night?”
“… Night?”
“You’ve been gone for 36 hours my birdie.”
You don’t feel any different… Save for the prickle of thorns and fresh bite on your arm.
… Fresh bite?
Despite the indent, it doesn’t hurt, it’s like, he left it there as a reminder of your failures, at least to you. It could very well be his way of staking his claim on your heart.
“It’s a shame you didn’t get him when you could’ve, with your connections, you could’ve spared us a huge loss today…” you’re cruelly reminded of the people that lay to waste hidden in the trees. “We should let today serve as a reminder of what you must do.”
Crowley doesn’t look happy at the sight of so many employees who failed their jobs, yet he doesn’t look grieved either.
You… Truly, you wish you weren’t so softhearted during your missions. Maybe then, this could’ve all been avoided.

Prythian, 25 years ago
“Hurry. We need to hurry,” the female gasped, ignoring the pain from the sharp rocks beneath her bare feet. She hadn’t bothered with shoes or even a cloak, as there had been no time to bother with such comforts. They had fled as soon as they had gotten word that their location had been revealed. She regretted that decision now, for the icy cold bit into her skin, and she could see her breath in front of her face, mixing with the darkness around them.
Her husband groaned, struggling to keep up with her fast pace. “Do you remember the words, Carina?”
“Yes, Klaus. I’ve gone over them every day since we got the letter.” She looked back at him, noting how tired and weary he looked. The last few months on the run had taken a toll on him, sucking the life out of his once luminous face. “Now, come on!”
Her lungs burned as they picked up the pace, nearly sprinting through the dark forest. Shadows danced around them as if they were trying to shield the couple from their pursuers. She held the small bundle in her arms close to her body, praying to the Mother her body heat would transfer through the blanket.
In the distance, Carina could hear footsteps growing closer, crashing loudly through the dead leaves. “Damn it! They’re getting closer!” Her heart was racing, and it took all of her self-control to keep from falling into a fit of panic.
“Keep going,” Klaus said as he unsheathed the sword he kept at his back. “I’ll fight them off. You have to make it to the clearing.”
She stopped running as she fought back the urge to let her tears fall. “No! We promised to do this together. You can’t leave me.” Her breathlessness as she spoke was not from the running but from her heart shattering into pieces inside her chest.
Not like this, not like this, not like this.
He ran a gentle finger down her cheek, his dark eyes full of love. His eyes were what she had fallen in love with first, all those years ago. They had been her anchor through storms, her beacon of hope.
Now, she wondered if she would ever see them again.
“You know there is no other option, my love,” he murmured. He leaned down to press a gentle kiss to her frozen lips. She was so numb she couldn’t even feel the contact of his skin. “We have been running for too long. It’s time to end this. You have to end this.”
Deep down, she knew there was no other option, and there was no way out. She gave him a solemn nod. “In this life and the next- “she began, speaking the promise they always said to each other.
“-in this world and the next,” he finished, cupping her face in his hands. “I love you, Car.”
Carina’s heart stuttered at the nickname he had given her. She watched in silent agony as he turned away, his sword at the ready. “I love you, too,” she whispered, but he was gone, swallowed up by the darkness. Though he was a warrior, she doubted he would be able to fight against them. With a deep breath, she locked her feelings away, compartmentalizing them to be dealt with later.
If there was a later. She began sprinting again, her mind scrambling. In her head, she went over the words from that gods-forsaken letter, the one her husband had mentioned.
Find the opening in the trees. East of the mountains. South of the river. Where shadows dance with moonlight and whispers carry on the wind. Repeat the words given to you in the Old Language, spoken only by those in the Royal Lineage.
In the letter, there had been an ancient-looking scroll. Written on it were the words she needed to speak to summon the one they had asked for help. She had repeated them, committing them to memory. She didn’t know what they meant, but that didn’t matter now.
The only thing that mattered now was that they worked.
After what felt like an eternity, she ran through an opening in the dense foliage. The air was thick with the scent of frozen earth, and it was laced with a metallic tang. Chills ran down her spine, but it wasn’t from the cold. The palpable sense of magic tingled along her skin, and she fought the urge to cower in the presence of such a power.
From above, the clouds parted to reveal a full moon, and she could see the shadows darting along the tree line as if they were indeed dancing with the moonlight. The wind picked up, and she could hear whispers crying out, their near-silent voices mingling together into one accord.
Carina took a deep breath, still cradling the small bundle to her chest. There had been no movement or sound in the last few hours, and she wondered if she was too late, if all of this was for nothing.
“You must live, little one,” she murmured to the sleeping form in her arms. “The fate of our world hangs in the balance.” Perhaps the words she spoke were too grim, but they were relevant to the situation.
Carina squared her shoulders, standing tall against the primal power creeping into the clearing. She wouldn’t mess this up. Everything that had been done... the running, the hiding… it all centered on this moment.
With a loud voice, she began to speak those words written on the scroll. Time slowed and the wind stilled as they flowed from her tongue. Even the shadows disappeared, blending into the darkness around them.
Her body began to tremble as she felt the presence of something enter the clearing. It wasn’t like any magic she had encountered before. No… it was something old and dark and wholly other.
Her knees hit the ground as her body finally gave out, and she put out a hand to keep herself from crushing the precious gift in her arms. She went silent as she saw an ethereal-looking form take shape before her eyes.
Clad in a robe that seemed to move with the power of unseen forces, the figure had an aura of grace and power. Beneath the robe, the body appeared to be feminine, with generous curves and full breasts. Black tendrils of hair that looked like shadows blew gently in the wind, framing a beautiful face that held age-old wisdom from centuries gone by.
For a moment, Carina swore she saw the faint outline of wings emerging from the figure’s back, but the sight was lost after a few seconds. Slowly, she raised her eyes, meeting the stare of one who held the secrets and mysteries of countless worlds.
Carina smiled softly as she felt a wave of relief flood her veins. She bowed her head as a sign of reverence and submission. The fate of her daughter was in the hands of this ancient power, and she would do anything to ensure her safety, even if it meant putting aside her pride. Though she was weak and tired from the running, her voice was stable as she said, “Hello, World Walker.”

yami x f!noble reader. post coitus walk down a strange memory lane. suggestive, sex happened. | divider by @cafekitsune, wc 1.3k
Tumblr media
“Why do you have that?”
Yami looks up at you from the end of the bed, his arm dangling over the side while he finishes pulling it all the way up.
“This?”
He holds up the small linen square he was working on unfolding into a larger square and you nod.
Furrowing his brows, he shrugs. “Because you gave it to me…?”
The hesitation in his voice brings a small, soft smile to your face. You reach for the handkerchief and he hands it over without so much as a grumble, placing it gently in the center of your palm just as you did for him the day it became his. There would never be any denying this once belonged to you considering your initials and hand embroidery are slightly unraveled yet still stitched in the corner of the fabric.
More than five years ago, a fresh faced newly minted noblewoman boldly pressed her favor into his hand. He was merely a Magic Knight back then, not yet designated with the honor of Captain. There’s no telling, then or now, what you were attempting to achieve with the move other than to get under his skin but it worked well enough that he has kept the reminder of you in his pocket ever since.
For a moment, Yami debates asking for it back, simply to keep a piece of something that belongs to him and only him. A secret token of affection he should have parted with but has never quite found himself able to. It has been on battlefields with him. It has traveled deep in his pocket to neighboring countries and towns, up a lava filled mountain and back down.
There’s history stored in the tidy stitches, even if you weren’t there to see it happen. And there is no longer any way to effectively hide what the insinuation meant to him.
“Are you satisfied that it’s the genuine article now, your highness?”
You glance up from the fabric in your hands and toward him, the pinched skin between his brows deepening with every passing second. The incorrect title is enough to indicate that you’ve managed to strike a nerve and the look on his face only solidifies it. Giggling, you lean in and press it into his hand just as you did years ago.
“Passes my inspection although I wish I could go back and tell the younger me that her stitching needs work.”
Your thumb lingers against the center of his palm. Yami sighs, aware that a barrage of questions is coming judging solely from the look on your face - those twinkling eyes and that deceptively innocent smirk.
“You’re under no obligation to answer me of course, but if I may, how have you managed to keep something so delicate intact for so long? I didn’t exactly put my best effort into making it a piece to be kept forever.”
Chuckling, he leans back down across the bed on his side. His bare chest rises and falls with each breath he takes, dark strands falling over his face messily. You reach out and push the hair away, exposing gray eyes and sharpened features, the same ones you first found yourself drawn to all those years ago, only slightly different. The breath in his chest stills for a moment when you glance down at him, cheek pressed against your knees which are quilt covered and pulled against your chest.
“Everything alright down there, Captain?”
When the two of you first started sleeping together he confidently assumed he could keep the whole ‘I remember you very fondly from every conversation we’ve ever had, no matter how brief’ situation under wraps. You’ve spent years passing by one another, two ships off to other destinations but sharing the water for enough time to get used to the weather. Only the fortuitous hand of fate can explain how the two of you ended up in the same tavern, on the same night, sending you both on a trail that has led here.
Shaking his head, he smiles up at you, propping his head up with his fist. “Yup.” Popping the ‘p’ sound, he exhales a heavy sigh.
What can he say that won’t make him sound either creepy or foolish? It’s not like he has spent years pining over you, he’s too busy for something as nonsensical as that, but he’d be lying if he were to insinuate it has been sitting forgotten in his pocket. There’s a blood stain on the upper left corner from when he wiped his nose with it after a fierce competitor got the best of him up close. It’s slightly discolored, off-white from years of rubbing against the dark leather of his pants.
“I’ve never seen any reason to get rid of a gift someone else has given me, why would this be any different? Besides, sometimes a man just wants something that reminds him of home when he’s on the road.”
Smirking, you gradually slide your legs beneath the covers and join him in lying down. Shifting to your side, you keep your hand extended to finger comb his hair back from his face.
“So you’re saying I make you think of home?”
Sukehiro is no stranger to women or their wiles and charms but you have always been somewhat unique compared to your peers. Bolder than most women he’s ever met, the perfect mixture of sharp tongued and soft hearted. Memorable and not just for the admirable beauty that has won you suitors and friends, allies and enemies alike.
He harrumphs. You giggle in the way that makes the bridge of your nose scrunch, irresistible to a man that hasn’t been able to find a place to store all of that fondness outside of his pants pocket. Reaching toward you, he squeezes your nose gently which makes you laugh and distracts you long enough he doesn’t have to dignify your question with a response.
Feelings are tricky, after all. It’s why he stays away from them.
“Are you gonna let me clean you up or not?” He asks, remembering why he pulled the kerchief from his pocket to start with. You shimmy closer to him, leaning to press the tip of your nose against his. “I don’t know. Are you going to answer my question or not?”
He peels the quilt back from your body with a smirk, ignoring you completely. You make no moves to actually prevent him from doing so, even staying still and patient when he gently pulls your thighs apart. The handkerchief makes its way between your legs, carefully and tenderly sopping up the mess of your release and his that has left your folds glossy and sticky.
“Yeah, you do remind me of home. That there’s something worth protecting around here, at the very least.”
The honesty pierces you and the comfortable quiet in one well aimed shot. An unexpected and slightly awkward laugh leaves you, mouth hanging open and shutting as quickly as possible, visibly taken aback. The corners of your lips twitch and your mind races, struggling to find the right thing to say which is almost unheard of for you.
“All done.”
Yami holds out the damp and sticky cloth for your review. Giggling, you scrunch your nose again. He laughs while tossing it on the floor with his clothes, making a mental note to wash it so he doesn’t pull it out of his pocket still crusty. Not that it would be the first time.
He rolls over onto his back, lying down by your side once again. Your hand easily finds its natural home in the strands of hair in front of his face, petting them backward.
“I’m relieved you kept it.” You finally admit, now that you can look into his eyes and say it. “I always wondered what you thought of me doing it in the first place.”
Sighing, he turns his head fully to look at you.
“I’ve never been one to turn down a free gift from a pretty girl. My manners aren’t that bad.”
Tugging on the strands of his hair between your fingers, you laugh and shake your head.
“Go to bed, Yami.”
He leans in and smiles against your mouth, kissing you.
“After you.”

"You'll feel at home soon, Sir Jungkook." You say as you place the plate of his food in front of him, his dark eyes looking up at you.
They don't scare you. Neither does the fact that he draws his powers from.. well, not the light. He's shown by now that he still has a kind heart, even if it's a bit hidden and cluttered with other things he deems more important. "I do not need to feel welcome here." He denies, starts to eat quietly, averting his gaze from you.
"Sure, you do not." You respond, turning around to wash the other's dishes in the sink. Jungkook's eyes raise at that, focusing on the way your tail sways from side to side softly.
Your dress looks a lot more.. tailored to you, than he's used to see on maids. In fact, everyone appears to be dressed in clean, and well made clothes that still fit their status and job- but don't appear to be simply given from one to the next. Kim Seokjin knows every staff's name in fact, and does not seem to really draw a line in who he speaks to and who he does not.
Odd.
"But doesn't it feel better?" You ask, singing to yourself as you wash the plates.
Jungkook doesn't respond, simply thinks. He doesn't have to feel at home here. Once King Seokjin doesn't have any use for him any longer, he will be sent out once more. The less connections he makes here, the less he will be driven away from his path. He doesn't need friends, or a home.
He's learned that many times in his life. It'll only hurt.
"How long have you been working here?" Jungkook asks as he rips off a piece of bread to eat. You dry your hands, and sit at the table with him, stretching out your legs beneath if for a moment.
"Hm.. I was living here since Jin-.. King Seokjin was still a prince, Sir." You answer. "I was born in the nearby forest village. My mother became a maid when I was old enough to attend school." You remember.
"Explains your lack of respect for him in your tone." Jungkook says, not looking at you. You stiffen, ears pinning backwards.
"Ah- but I do have respect!" You almost whine. "It's just.. his crowning was years ago, I know. But.. on occasion, I forget the boundaries set by society." You sigh, leaning your chin on your hand. "Any other kingdom would've already had me beheaded." You giggle to yourself.
"Or at least exiled." He mumbles, biting another piece of bread.
It's good that you seem to be aware of the luxury you're experiencing inside this castle. As a mere hybrid maid, you're not much more in status than a dog- and yet, for some odd reasoning, the King himself treats you as much more, just like the other staff. The way he'd spoken to Jungkook, with such familiarity almost, had shown just how soft the King really is. He truly is in need of protection. God knows he probably has not fought a single time in his life.
Just as his food is finished, Jungkook notices your other hand that's not supporting your head. There's something on your palm he's not sure of, but the skin is clearly irritated. He motions for you to turn it over, and you do- scratches having reopened from washing the dishes earlier.
Either you're very dumb, or just very devoted to your purpose in this castle.
He's slow with his movements to give you a way to deny him- but you do not, instead even leaning forward a bit in curiosity to see what he's going to do, as he covers your hand in his own, silver rings bulky on his fingers. There's no glow, or anything really- not much is happening at all, apart from the tingling feeling underneath your skin, stinging from the cuts slowly ebbing away like it's dipped in cold water.
And when he removes his hands, your palm is covered in what looks like black soot almost.. but once you brush that off, the skin is healed- no scars remaining.
"Oh! There you guys are." Yoongi offers, walking closer into the kitchen, a hand on your shoulder as he stands behind you. "The king requests you, Jungkook. " He tells the warlock, who still feels oddly irritated by the man's lack of proper wording regarding him. "And you should clean up. It's late." He says much softer to you, and you nod.
"Look! sir Jungkook healed me!" You hold out your hand, and Yoongi clearly grows irritated, frustration clear on his face.
This is what Jungkook is used to. The anger, distaste, disgust even regarding his practices- this is what's comforting to him. He can work with that, knows that people like this man will not get unnecessarily attached to him and cause problems. He likes that-
"Yah, where'd you even get hurt again?!" Yoongi scolds you instead, however. "Be glad Jin didn't see, or he'd make you report to him daily again.. show me. Is it really healed.?" He mumbles, inspecting your hand, before he shakes his head at you, ears pinned back. "Thank you. She sometimes has the coordination of a dragon hatchling." He says towards Jungkook, and he's caught entirely off guard, eyes wide open and face clearly showing his surprise.
And you just laugh at that, happily so, before you tell him goodnight with a playful bow, running off after teasingly thanking Yoongi for washing Jungkook's dishes.
Which, yet again irritatingly enough, Yoongi indeed does do for you.
This castle is weird.
But fitting for its king, he thinks.

Prompt: "You, whose image the Dark Mirror did beckon forth... If your heart bids it, take the hand of the one reflected in the mirror."
Pairing: Dire Crowley and GN!Prefect/ Yuu/ MC
Genre: Yandere (platonic)
TW: Yandere Dire Crowley, crow man's delusional and literally does not give two fucks, just generally creepy vibes all around.
Tumblr media
AN: I am so, so, so sorry for what you are about to read now lol. If you get too confused in the middle, don't worry, I was just as confused writing this but my brain just wouldn't rest until I finished and posted this so here we are. The basic summary of this is that Yuu or the Prefect is trapped in an endless cycle because Crowley overblotted. You might have to read this twice or thrice to understand the how and why <3
Tumblr media
He knows.
From the moment he sees them, he remembers.
He remembers and he watches as they do it again.
And again.
And again.
A puppet, unaware of their being handled by someone else, someone kinder and gentler who just wants to keep them safe and sound.
Even if it means trapping them in an endless cycle.
Even if he is the only one who sees and notices and remembers.
Dire Crowley cuts an imposing figure as he stands in his office, facing an ornate mirror. Not the Dark Mirror, no. This particular mirror has its roots in mystical arcane magic, from the times of Jupiter and when the Titans roamed free. Dire has a faint memory of his mother, the Crowley Matriarch, telling him to be careful with it, to pass it down to his heir as she had, to him.
Crystal clear, it beckons to him to reveal himself. To bare himself, imperfections and flaws laid out in the privacy of his office for it to see.
A selfish, sadistic desire to pick apart every carefully constructed lie, each bejeweled facade to show the utter mess of a man that lies beneath it all arises in him; he finds himself indulging in it more often than he likes to admit.
The masked man removes his mask for what is not the first time, and most certainly would not be the last. Sharp golden eyes look on as black ink, once held within the confines of his mask, drips down his face. Times like these make him wonder and marvel at how he has not met his demise yet.
Fingers adorned with golden claws rise and touch the blot, marveling at how cold it feels as it stains his skin. Lesser mages would have been dead long ago, Crowley knows this. Slight dread rises in him at the thought, knowing that his magic reserves are long finished; he lives on borrowed time and magic.
But then again, who cares? As long as he can have them here, where they belong, safe and sound-
A knock resonates through the room, startling the headmage. He quickly puts the mask on his face again and clears his throat, saying, "Come in."
He watches as they walk in, no doubt to complain about something, or to talk about their financial situation. Perhaps he should increase their allowance? After all, it is their being, their magic that sustains him, and allows him to live through these lifetimes watching over the unassuming, now magicless human he had imprinted on and the students they had endeared themself to.
Crowley watches as they speak, unable to stop his lips from curling up into a smile. He hems and haws and lies through his teeth about not being able to find them a way back.
He sees the light in their eyes dim; it is a small change, one that doesn't stay for long. But the magicless human is precious to him, and so he observes them. He watches them leave his office silently, a stark contrast to when their impatience and indignance have them cursing his name to the skies. No outcome, no outburst of their emotions will be able to move his cold, frozen heart to thaw, however; they belong to Twisted Wonderland, as Twisted Wonderland belongs to them.
In their first lifetime, Crowley recalls with the fondness of a father thinking of his grown-up child, they did possess magic; far different in nature, but magic nonetheless. And powerful too, considering the aura of it radiated from their being even as something stopped them from being able to use it.
Crowley wonders if it was so that he could see how invaluable, how indispensable they were.
How the entirety of Twisted Wonderland was made for them.
He did try, the first time, to find them a way back home. Endless efforts were dedicated to researching the existence of universes and multiverses. Of course, such exhaustive research would take time, time which he saw them spend getting close to the students of Night Raven College and fighting overblots.
Seven overblots, in the span of one year.
A record untouched by any other being, mage or otherwise. A record they kept making each and every lifetime they spent in the loop. A record that became his new normal, so much so that he no longer gives more than a cursory glance to the overblots and their aftermath.
He knows how it all ends, after all.
In their first lifetime, his efforts had bore fruit. His studies revealed a way to connect the Dark Mirror to their plane of existence, through the use of the very mirror that was hidden behind his back. His blood had run cold at the revelation, and he spent the next few weeks? months? looking for alternatives. For other ways to be able to send them back.
Until one day, the Prefect found out.
As they angrily interrogated him for the reasons behind his silence, asking him why he would not send them back even though there was a way, he realized exactly why he was hesitant about sending them back.
Crowley had no spouse, no children. But the mirror, the mirror which had been in his family for generations, needed an heir. One who could gain control over it, rather than have it control them like it did with so many of his ancestors, including his mother.
Surely the one dubbed a beast-tamer could tame such a dangerously powerful magical artefact?
He desperately begged and bargained with them, trying to change their mind. Trying to entice them into staying forever in Twisted Wonderland, as his heir. He offered them gold and silver, riches beyond what one would expect a man like him to have. He offered them the immense honour and prestige that came with being a deity that the entirety of Twisted Wonderland bowed to.
But they... they refused to stay. The only thing that was in their mind was to go home. Why couldn't they get it through their head that Twisted Wonderland was meant to be their home?
The aftermath of that argument... Crowley's memories are hazy at best. He remembers waking up in a pool of blot, the sticky ink covering his hands and the top of his face, dripping constantly. He remembers the mirror glowing as he dragged himself to it like a mindless moth flies to the flame even with the risk of getting burned.
Words had slipped through his mouth like the prayers of the devout at the altar of their deity, the faint and familiar hum of magic accompanied by a slight crackle of dark miasma.
"Ah, my dear esteemed benefactor... My proud, beautiful flower of evil. You are truly the fairest one of all," he had spoken, not knowing exactly what spell he was casting. All he knew, was that he was succumbing to the mirror, the same way his mother had; the same way all of his ancestors had, giving into the madness that such unchecked power and magic could create.
"O magic mirror, thy wisdom I entreat... Reveal unto me the visage I seek.." A vision of them, standing on the other side of the mirror, had Crowley try to reach out to them. His hand grazed the solid glass, before passing through it. He watched as their eyes widened and they took a step back.
"You, whose image the Dark Mirror did beckon forth... If your heart bids it, take the hand of the one reflected in the mirror." A shiver of thrill ran up his spine as they gingerly placed their hand in his after giving his words some thought, even with all the doubt in their eyes. He curled his fingers around their warm hand, and pulled.
He later found out that, during his overblot, he had managed to trap a significant portion of their soul in the mirror that was his family heirloom. The mirror rejected their magic, foreign as it was, and somehow those powers transferred themselves over to Crowley.
The words Crowley spoke, was the way to invoke their soul and bring them back each time they left Twisted Wonderland. A reset button, if you will.
Every time they show the slightest hint of wanting to leave, the slightest glimpse of understanding that he is the one they need to defeat in order to go home, he resets. Memories get wiped and Twisted Wonderland moulds beneath his gold-plated fingertips to what it was before. They say time waits for no man, but then again, Dire Crowley is more monster than human now. And so it bends to his will, but not without taking away his memories as well.
But then he sees them.
And he remembers.

Would you write a part 2 lil blurb for the face riding eddie fic 👉👈
Holy shit I've never gotten a request before
I didn't even know where to go from there, it was literally just thots about his nose. But here you go.
Part 2 to this Blurb I posted yesterday.
Warnings: cockwarming, light dom!Eddie, begging, slutshaming
Words: 623
Eddie’s bare chest lies on top of yours, the chill of his chain necklace startling as the heat of your bodies radiates off his bed. One hand caresses your face while the other smooths down your bare torso, goosebumps forming in its wake. His lips are gentle on yours, his tongue electric as he takes his time kissing you.
This would all be heaven if he would just move his goddamn hips.
You couldn’t tell how long-ago Eddie entered you, your legs clinging around his hips as he moaned into your neck. You giggled as he sighed, and though you’ve already been pounded and claimed by him enough times to lose count, you could never remember how fucking good his cock truly feels until its in you again.
He hovered over you as your hips started to wiggle, desperate for him to move. He looked down at you and gave you a pitying smile, only half his lips curled as he did. “Oh, fuck. Still so greedy, huh?” He tsks his tongue, shaking his head as a smile captivated his face. “I think you need to learn to be grateful for what you get.” Your eyes widened, and a huff of laughter escaped him at your fallen face. You whimpered as it caused his cock to move ever so slightly in you, by mere centimeters. “So I’m going to enjoy this tight little pussy and you’re going to stay still until I decide you’re grateful, understand?”
Here you are, nails harsh against the palms of your hands as every muscle in your body tensed, desperate for the magic of his hips fucking into yours. He teased you with his lips, his hands, even shifted his hips once or twice but none of it felt like it was enough. He starts placing kisses on your cheek, your jawline, down your throat and a whimper escapes you as he moves slightly to get a better angle at your collarbone.
If the desperation in your expression, your tilted eyebrows and crumpled up face wasn’t enough to tell Eddie how bad you wanted it, then every muscle in your body being tensed-up to stop yourself from moving was.
But he just couldn’t help himself. “Oh, you really want it, don’t you, sweetheart?”
You nod, swallowing hard. His cock was so still, and the need for him to move was impossible to wrap your mind around, feeling dizzy from the need.
“Beg for it.” It takes a moment for you to process this, and when you don’t say anything, Eddie repeats himself. “C’mon. Beg for it. Wanna hear your pretty voice begging me. Pleading.”
“Eddie, please fuck me. I want it so fucking bad; I’m fucking throbbing for it.” You plead him, and he continues working on your collarbone as if you hadn’t said a thing.
“Oh, baby. You’ll need to do better than that.”
The amusement in his voice his both the hottest thing you’ve ever heard and the worst. A pathetic little sob leaves your throat, desperate for him to just move. “Please, Ed? I’ve been so good. Just move a little? Don’t even have to move that much, I’ll be grateful for whatever you give me, just please move.”
“That’s better, baby is learning to be grateful for what she gets, greedy little slut.” Eddie finally, finally moves his hips out and when he does you reach the edge so fast, you’re seeing stars, your mouth opening as the heat from your neglected pussy expands and conquers your extremities.
And from the way your cunt shakes around him and the satisfaction from watching your cock drunk face as he finally gives you what you wanted, this wouldn’t be the last time he did it.

Three's Company, Four's a Crowd!
(Korra x Fem!Reader x Asami)
Prologue: Yuma Gives Birth to Half of the Airbending Population
(A/N: Hey hey! Wanted to give a lil intro to my reader insert fic here sorry it's so long. So this story will be Korra x Fem!Airbender!Reader x Asami they will end up a throuple. I will be covering over half of the show so it's gonna be a few chapters. I will be mostly focusing on season one and three. I won't cover season four at all and season two will probably be like three or four chapters at the most. Most chapters will be second POV but a few will be third person like this one. Also I named reader's mom Yuma because it's easier for me lol. There will be more entertainment in the next chapter rest assured! This will also be posted on my ao3 account I'll post that link right after this!)
"It's time to wake up, Turtle Duck!" Yuma whispered while gently rubbing her child's arm.
(Y/n) groaned and slowly sat up. Yuma's poor girl is not a morning person in any sense of the word. Her (h/c) hair was an utter disaster as it always is after a good night's rest. The five year old little girl yawned and rubbed her bleary (e/c) eyes in an attempt to get the sleepiness away.
"Can't I have five more minutes?" (Y/n) pouted.
"Not today, my love. We're visiting Gran Gran today, remember?" Yuma smiled.
At once, the five year old girl perked up at the mention of her grandmother. Honestly, that woman is the only reason why Yuma stayed in the Southern Water Tribe once the divorce from her ex-husband, Taro, was finalized. Zoh was an angel sent from above in Yuma's eyes. Always happily taking in (Y/n) whenever there was an emergency and helping around Yuma's home when she desperately needed a break.
Zoh has absolutely zero contact with her son after the divorce. Something about cheating on his wife and abadonding his child really pissed Zoh off. Honestly, Yuma can't even remember the last time someone was so loyal to her. It means the world to her that her ex-mother-in-law has her back. After all these years, Yuma felt as though she had a mother again.
"Yes! I can't wait to show you and Gran Gran my magic trick! I'm going to blow you guys away!" (Y/n) enthusiastically exclaimed.
"And I can't wait to see it! But before you blow us away, we have to fix this," Yuma grinned while patting her daughter's head.
(Y/n) gave her a cute little pout as Yuma began combing her hair. Once that was completed after much wincing from both parties, Yuma put her daughter's hair in two little buns atop her head. The Fire Nation woman then went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast while her daughter changed clothes.
Honestly, Yuma really couldn't wait to see what this little 'magic trick' is. (Y/n)'s been talking about it since last week and it has been driving Yuma mad. The Fire Nation woman has never been...how does one say...patient. Obviously, Yuma has all the patience in the world for her daughter, but literally anything else? That's going to be a hard no. She's also a very curious woman by nature. Yuma is just itching to know what the magic trick is.
Yuma highly suspects that (Y/n) might be a waterbender like Taro. She took (Y/n) to a waterbending show a few months ago and her daughter claimed it to be magic, which just furthers her suspicions. Yuma herself didn't have the ability to bend, so it made the most logical sense.
Then again, it could just be something like a picture or sleight of hand magic. Kids did have a tendency to exaggerate or bend the truth. There are plenty of possibilities which is greatly irritating because again, Yuma is painfully impatient and horribly curious.
Ah, well, it will be revealed today when they visit Zoh. (Y/n) rushed up to their little table and practically shoveled her food into her mouth.
"Careful now, we don't want to have to see the healers now do we?" Yuma reminded her.
(Y/n) didn't respond verbally but ate considerably slower. Her sweet daughter always got so excited to see her Gran Gran even though it's a pretty frequent occurrence. It really does take a village and even though Yuma's village is truly just one other person, she couldn't be more grateful for it.
Once Yuma finished her breakfast (Y/n) was shoving her out the door. The trek to Zoh's hut was only about ten minutes on foot so it wouldn't be long until Yuma got to see that magic trick.
(Y/n) talked on and on about how this trick is just the coolest thing ever and that Yuma will be so impressed. To be fair, practically everything about (Y/n) impresses Yuma. It must be a mom thing.
In what felt like no time at all, the mother daughter duo reached Zoh's hut. (Y/n) excitedly knocked on the door. It only took two knocks before the door swung open.
"Oh hello Yuma. Didn't you say (Y/n) was coming with you? I can't find her anywhere!" Zoh exclaimed while purposefully looking upwards.
"Oh you know how five year old girls are these days, she just wanted to stay home and listen to her radio," Yuma joked.
"Gran Gran! I'm right here!" (Y/n) laughed.
Zoh looked down and feigned a gasp of surprise. The older woman quickly scooped her granddaughter up and peppered kisses all over her face. (Y/n) giggled in pure delight as her grandmother smothered her with affection.
"And how's my favorite granddaughter doing?" Zoh smiled.
"I'm your only granddaughter, silly! I'm doing good! I'll be even better when I get to show you my awesome magic trick!" (Y/n) exclaimed excitedly.
"Oh? A magic trick you say? I didn't know I was getting good company and a show! We better all get inside to enjoy such a performance," Zoh smiled.
The older woman stepped aside to let Yuma inside and gently placed (Y/n) on the ground. Yuma smiled and gave Zoh a quick but firm hug.
"Thanks for having us, Zoh," Yuma said.
"I'm sorry, who is this Zoh you speak of?" Zoh grinned.
"Apologies. Thank you for having us, Mom," Yuma laughed.
"That's more like it. Besides, I'd have you guys around all the time if I could," Zoh chuckled as she locked the door behind them.
"Before I can show you my magic trick, I must grab my materials! Please, have a seat ladies," (Y/n) dramatically stated while gesturing to the couch in the living room.
Her daughter is just too cute. The adults shot each other an amused look before sitting on the couch. Once (Y/n) saw that they were seated, she rushed off to the kitchen to grab these 'materials'.
"You don't happen to know what this magic trick is, do you?" the Water Tribe woman asked her.
"No, not quite. She's been talking about it since last week but insisted that she would only do it with both of us present," Yuma explained.
"That must have driven you mad," Zoh smirked, well aware of Yuma's patience level.
"Oh, you have no idea. I really should work on that," Yuma sighed.
"All I'm saying is that this is about the age where children start to discover their bending abilities," Zoh said in a sing song voice.
"That was my first thought when she said magic trick. The waterbending genes do run strong in your family," the Fire Nation woman admitted.
"That they do. We're very strong benders, too. One might say, some of the greatest benders of all time?" Zoh asked smugly.
Yuma immediately rolled her eyes. She knew exactly what the older woman was implying. And it's all because of that alleged 'seer' Zoh dragged Yuma to.
Back when she was still pregnant with (Y/n), Zoh and Yuma were attending a festival in one of the main cities in the Southern Water Tribe. Zoh found a seer and insisted they get a reading of (Y/n)'s future. Yuma didn't exactly love the idea of a strange woman touching her belly to get a reading she didn't actually believe in, but figured it would be harmless.
Long story short, the seer told them three things. One is that (Y/n) will face great challenges in her life but will inevitably be victorious as long as she trusts in herself and her loved ones. The second thing is that (Y/n) will be one of the most powerful benders of all time and help create balance in the world. The final tidbit of information they got was that (Y/n) would be blessed to experience twice the amount of romantic love than most people got in their entire lives and will end up happily married with healthy children.
What a load of shit.
Seriously? Her daughter needs to believe in herself in order to overcome great trials and tribulations? That is the most unoriginal reading Yuma had ever heard. Could have gotten that from half of the fortune cookies in creation.
As for the bending, that seer probably says that to every person that crosses her path. It's not like benders are a dying breed, it's a pretty good guess that (Y/n) would end up one. The damn seer didn't even specify what kind of bender she would be! And that balance part? What a joke. Probably wanted to make it seem like she's meant for some great purpose.
The romantic aspect of (Y/n)'s life confused the hell out of Yuma. What did the seer even mean by twice as much love? Doesn't matter, because it's total bogus. Yuma is pretty sure that the whole happily married with children part is yet another thing that the seer says to everyone that gets a reading from her.
In other words, that con artist merely told them exactly what they wanted to hear. Zoh claims Yuma is just a pessimist and Yuma claims Zoh wasted her money.
"Relax, Mom. I highly doubt today is the start of (Y/n)'s 'destiny'," Yuma scoffed.
"Ye of little faith," Zoh said with a dramatic shake of her head.
At that precise moment, (Y/n) came back into the room with the biggest grin Yuma had ever seen on her. To both her and Zoh's surprise, (Y/n) did not come into the room with a glass of water. Instead, there were two little marbles resting on the palm of her left hand.
Okay, now Yuma's confused. Obviously, there would be no waterbending today. Maybe her magic trick is sleight of hand magic? But what kind of magic trick only involves two marbles?
The Fire Nation woman looked at Zoh from the corner of her eyes and saw she was just as confused as Yuma is. What is this girl planning?
"As you can see, here in my hand there are two marbles! No string, no magnet, just some boring old marbles! Now feast your eyes upon me!" (Y/n) excitedly yelled.
Both women looked on intently as (Y/n) hovered her right hand about two inches above her left. Both palms were facing the marbles. For a split second, nothing happened.
Then, the marbles moved. (Y/n)'s hands didn't tilt at all, they were completely still as the marbles levitated right in between both her palms. Then, the two marbles started to spin rapidly around each other in a circle.
Yuma's seen an exact picture of this once. But he is long gone and only one other person could pull this off.
There's no way. It's not possible. She can't be an-
"Airbender. Yuma, she is an airbender," Zoh hissed in her ear.
"But that's impossible! The only living airbender is Master Tenzin and we know for a fact (Y/n)'s not his!" Yuma hissed back.
First of all, unlike her ex-husband, Yuma's not a cheating whore. Second of all, during the divorce, Yuma wanted child support because it was the least Taro could do. He had tried to contest it by claiming (Y/n) wasn't actually his. Yuma went out of her way to be petty and gave the court four separate DNA tests. Each and every one of them confirmed Taro was the father.
Long story short, Yuma got her money.
Plus, Yuma's never even been in the same room as Master Tenzin. This means that (Y/n) has no biological relation to the previous Avatar or his family. Yuma knows her daughter can't be the current Avatar because she was already discovered about one year ago. This shouldn't be real. She shouldn't be able to airbend.
"Uhm, excuse you, it is very rude to talk while I perform," (Y/n) huffed as the marbles plopped back onto her hand.
"We're sorry, my love, we're just surprised. It's just, you're an airbender! It's incredible!" Yuma sincerely told her while struggling to get over her own shock.
"I see! So you're in awe of my super cool skills!" (Y/n) beamed. "But I thought there was only one airbender and you can only be an airbender if you're related to him."
(Y/n) has a very vague concept of bending. The only bending she's actually seen in person is waterbending and most of it is from Zoh to keep her entertained. She knows that people can bend both earth and fire as well as the fact that the only living airbender is Tenzin, Avatar Aang's son.
Yuma's daughter also enjoys listening to the pro bending matches on the radio but this is about the extent of her knowledge. How is Yuma supposed to fully explain this situation when she didn't understand it herself?
"Well I promise you are not related to Tenzin. But honestly, who cares how you can be an airbender?! This is phenomenal! Say, why don't we see what else you can do?" Zoh enthusiastically exclaimed.
(Y/n)'s entire face lit up, quickly forgetting about the technicalities of her airbending abilities.
"Like what?" (Y/n) asked curiously.
"I've got a stack of papers on my desk. Let's see if you can move them with your bending," Zoh told her.
"You're thinking big, Gran Gran! I like it!" (Y/n) cheered.
"That's my girl!" Zoh grinned as she rushed off to grab those papers.
Yuma took the opportunity to make sure all the doors and windows in Zoh's home were sealed shut. Of course they were, they lived in the South Pole for spirits sake! Even if they weren't shut, it still wouldn't have been able to explain the marbles rapidly circling each other in between the palms of (Y/n)'s hands.
The Fire Nation woman is pretty sure she's still in shock. Who wouldn't be? Her daughter has an ability that's practically extinct. It is nothing short of a miracle.
Zoh rushed back into the living room and plopped a small stack of papers on the table. She put her hand on (Y/n)'s shoulders and took a couple steps back.
"See if you can move the papers using your bending. I've obviously never taught an airbender, so it may be a little difficult. Feel the air in this room. Allow yourself to work with it to achieve your desired result," Zoh wisely told her.
Zoh's been teaching young children waterbending for years. Yuma doesn't understand how she's able to keep her voice steady enough to give off that confident instructor appearance under these circumstances.
(Y/n) narrowed her eyes in pure concentration and slowly lifted her arms. Yuma's jaw dropped seeing the papers slowly rise into the air. The young girl gasped in pure happiness at her accomplishment. Seeming to be testing the waters, (Y/n) began slowly swaying her arms from side to side to see if the papers would follow. They did.
Zoh and Yuma merely looked on in pure fascination as (Y/n) began to spin ever so slowly, taking the papers with her. The papers seemed as though they were dancing as they followed (Y/n)'s command, swishing in whatever direction she wanted them to. Her cute little face began scrunching up before dropping her likely tired arms. The papers, now no longer being controlled by airbending, began to slowly fall to the ground.
There is truly no denying it now. This isn't some small trick or accidental fluke, this is real.
(Y/n) is an airbender.
Yuma picked up (Y/n) and looked her dead in the eyes.
"I have to be honest with you, Turtle Duck. That was the coolest thing I've ever seen," Yuma grinned.
(Y/n) shot back what might be an even bigger smile.
"Thanks, Mommy! It was a lot of fun! I wonder what else I can do," (Y/n) smiled.
Yuma ended up zoning out as Zoh and (Y/n) chatted about how awesome the airbending is. It's certainly a fun thing to think about, what else could her little girl do? What is the extent of her abilities? She would certainly need proper training to-
Damn it. Damn it all. Reality's now hitting her like a train. This girl needs to learn to bend! And there's only one person in all four nations that could provide such services!
Oh for the love of spirits, (Y/n) is now one of two living airbenders! There's no doubt in Yuma's mind someone is going to want to hurt her daughter because of her extraordinary abilities! Not to mention the fact that Yuma has a pathological need to know how it's even possible that (Y/n) can airbend! There's so much that needs to be done and so much potential dangers-
"(Y/n)? My love? Gran Gran and I need to have a big kid talk. Why don't you curl up in your room and turn on the radio. I believe one of the pro bending matches just started in Republic City," Yuma told her daughter.
"Really? Awesome!" (Y/n) stated.
Zoh raised an eyebrow but ultimately didn't say anything as Yuma led (Y/n) to the guest bedroom she stays in for sleepovers. Once she got her daughter situated with her radio, Yuma walked back out and closed the door behind her. Then she dragged Zoh to the bathroom farthest away from the room (Y/n) was in and locked the door.
"Zoh, I need you to talk me down from a really high ledge because I am freaking the fuck out right now," Yuma hissed.
"Yeah, I had a feeling this might happen," the older woman sighed.
"What do I do? She's absolutely remarkable, Mom! She can airbend! The second person alive to do so! I just know some sick freak out there is going to want to wish harm upon my daughter! People always want to hurt the ones that stand out, good or bad! Oh spirits, what if someone kidnaps her and sells her on the black market-" the Fire Nation woman exclaimed, very clearly spiraling out.
"Breathe, dear. No one is getting sold in any markets. The answer is simple. We contact Tenzin so that (Y/n) will train with him and-" Zoh began.
"What if we didn't?" Yuma asked breathlessly. "What if we just leave now, change our names, and relocate to the Fire Nation? No one has to know. If no one knows about her, they can't hurt her."
Zoh gave her a look. Yuma knew that look. It was a look that said 'you're going off the deep end, kid'. Yuma did not like that look.
"And how do you think (Y/n)'s going to feel a few years from now, knowing you are purposefully trying to hide a part of who she is? How exactly do you expect her to control and conceal an ability she never got any training for?" Zoh asked.
Shit. Zoh's got her there. But that's why she's talking to the other woman. It's to prevent Yuma from doing something she'll regret.
"You're right, of course you're right. I'm just so scared. She's my baby. If anything happens to her...," Yuma trailed off.
She wouldn't make it. She knows she wouldn't.
"Nothing will happen to her. Not as long as she is properly trained. Katara was my mentor and we've stayed in touch. We'll make the journey to her place at once. There, she can contact her son and we will figure something out," the Water Tribe woman calmly told her.
Okay, Yuma likes this plan. It's a good plan. A solid plan. A plan that likely wouldn't end in utter devastation.
"Seems sane enough. But there's still the issue of how (Y/n)'s even an airbender. You know everyone's going to assume I had an affair with Tenzin. That's what I'd think. We'll need to brding the paternity tests and try to find out why (Y/n) can airbend," Yuma reminded her.
"I agree. Okay, obviously, if she's an airbender we must be descendants of Air Nomads. One of the girls I use to teach, Miyu, works in the archives at Republic City. I'll call her to send our family records over," Zoh told her.
"That's great! Alright, this is a real game plan. I feel much better now. Thank you," Yuma sighed.
"No need to thank me for doing my job," Zoh smiled.
At that, the older woman walked to the telephone and dialed this old student's number. Yuma began to anxiously pace around the room while Zoh talked to her former student. After a few minutes, which honestly felt like hours, Zoh ended the call.
"Alright, I asked Miyu to get her hands on both of our family trees and there shouldn't be any problem getting them to us. It'll take about a week until they're here," Zoh told her.
"Really? A whole week?" Yuma asked, visibly disappointed.
"Patience is a virtue, dear," Zoh grinned.
"Boo patience! I want to know now!" the Fire Nation woman whined childishly.
"Honestly, so do I. I don't think we should contact Katara until we have as much proof as we can get. This is going to be a rather hard hit for her," Zoh sighed.
"That's true. So for the next week we're just waiting?" Yuma frowned.
"Afraid so," the older woman confirmed.
"I'm nervous, Mom. This is huge. I'm worried this will somehow get out before we can get to Katara," Yuma admitted.
"I know, but please try not to worry. It's one week. We'll just keep her inside. And close all the blinds. We can just tell her a nasty snowstorm is coming. She's not going to know the difference," Zoh suggested.
"Oh, lying to my child. Hate to say it, but I kind of love that idea,"Yuma sighed.
"It's just one week. It can't be that hectic."
**********************
It was, in fact, that hectic.
Zoh was gracious enough to let Yuma and (Y/n) stay at her place until they got the family tree from the archives. Yuma's pretty sure that her child has rearranged the entire house at least fifteen times.
(Y/n) was restless. Ever since she found out she could airbend, it was the only thing she wanted to do. Yuma obviously didn't know much about airbending, but it's starting to look like her daughter's a bit of a prodigy. There's just no way a five year old should be able to airbend two chairs all the way up to the ceiling at the same time.
Yuma's daughter started to get irritated that the ceiling was in the way of her bending, so (Y/n) keeps trying to convince them to take her outside. Obviously, that's so not happening, so Yuma is trying to make (Y/n) focus on bending as many objects as possible instead of seeing how high they can float.
This child needs a damn airbending teacher. Yuma really could not wait until they could contact Tenzin.
To put it bluntly, when the family records came back, both women were relieved. (Y/n) thankfully is taking a nap, so they don't have to hide the papers.
After a couple minutes of searching through the results, Yuma finally found the Air Nomad in her very extensive family history of Fire Nation family members. Her name was Ina.
Yikes.
That is the first word that comes to mind when looking at Ina's rather short life. The records give very basic information. Birth date, death date, what kind of bender they were, and cause of death. The poor woman died at the age of twenty two, three months after giving birth to her only son. Ina had been burned alive. This was right at the start of the hundred year war. A Fire Nation soldier must have found her out.
Her son ended up being a firebender, which was for the best considering the fact that he also would have been killed if he inherited her airbending. What a tragedy.
"Did you find any Air Nomads on your side?" Zoh asked, effectively breaking the silence.
"Yeah, her name was Ina. Poor thing died from getting killed by a firebender when she was twenty two. It was at the start of the hundred year war. Had one firebending child. Any on your side?" Yuma asked.
"That's just awful. And yes, I actually did. Allin was his name. He was also about twenty when the hundred year war started, but must have hid himself well. Married a waterbender and had three children. Two of them were waterbenders and one was a nonbender. Died at the ripe age of eighty seven," Zoh informed her.
"Huh. I mean, Ina was in the very nation that wanted to eradicate the airbenders. That's probably why she got caught," Yuma frowned.
"Well, we've got what we need. Are we still going to start the journey to Katara's tomorrow like we originally planned?" the Water Tribe woman asked.
"I think that's best. I'm not sure if your furniture will survive if we wait," Yuma joked.
"Who cares about stupid furniture? My granddaughter is an airbender! That's so much better than furniture. I'll call Katara, tell her it's an urgent matter and I must speak to her immediately," Zoh laughed.
"Alright, I'll go and pack for all three of us. It's going to be a long journey," Yuma noted.
"Perfect. You already grabbed the paternity tests, right?" Zoh asked.
"Who do you think I am?" Yuma snorted.
She opened the top cabinet in the kitchen and revealed all four paternity tests.
"Show off," Zoh grinned.
Yuma merely laughed and walked to the room she was staying in to start packing. A few minutes later Zoh joined her. Apparently Katara was thrilled to get a house call so there was no issue there.
All Yuma told (Y/n) was that they were going to visit Gran Gran's old friend. The little girl just seemed happy to get out of the house, so she was ready for the journey.
Before they left, Yuma made sure to tell (Y/n) that airbending was their special secret and she would get to show Gran Gran's friend when they visited. (Y/n) didn't seem to put up a fuss about it, so off they went.
**********************
The trio made it to Katara's hut with zero incident. That was Yuma's main worry. She finally felt like she could relax when they walked up to the waterbending master's front door.
Zoh knocked a couple times before Katara opened the door. She smiled brightly before greeting Zoh with a tight hug.
"Oh, it's wonderful to see you again. I take it that these lovely ladies must be the wonderful daughter and granddaughter I've heard so much about," Katara said with a smile.
"Yes, that's us. It's an honor to meet you, Master Katara," Yuma said with a polite smile.
And it really was. This woman is kind of a living legend, after all. Yuma then nudged her daughter to give the woman a proper greeting. In (Y/n)'s defense, it's a pretty early morning so the little girl is still incredibly sleepy.
"G'morning, Miss Katara," (Y/n) yawned.
Katara laughed at the greeting, clearly finding (Y/n) as cute as Yuma does.
"Oh please, just call me Katara. Master and Miss is just so formal. Not really my style. Now come on in, it's a particularly cold day today," Katara said as she stepped aside for them to enter.
They walked into the beautiful hut and sat down on the couch. Zoh and Katara made small talk while (Y/n) leaned on Yuma's side, probably about to fall back asleep.
"Alright, you said there was a family emergency that only I could help with. I'd love to assist you out in any way I can," Katara said once they were all settled.
"Okay, before we show you what we're about to show you, I'm gonna need you to really look at these paternity tests," Zoh said as she handed Katara (Y/n)'s tests.
Obviously, Katara was confused but did as requested.
"Alright, her father is very clearly a man named Taro. What is this about?" Katara asked.
"Time to wake up, Turtle Duck. Show Katara your awesome magic trick," Yuma smiled while gently nudging (Y/n) awake.
"Must you demand me to perform when I clearly need rest?" (Y/n) grumbled.
Yuma snorted. Where in the four nations did this child get her sass from?
"If you do it now I'll let you have dessert before dinner," the Fire Nation woman said, blatantly bribing her child.
"Okay!" (Y/n) said brightly.
"Only use the marble trick, (Y/n). This is not your grandmother's house, Katara will not appreciate you rearranging her furniture," Yuma reminded her.
"Well you're no fun," (Y/n) grumbled.
Ultimately, she grabbed the little marbles from her pocket. Katara is looking more confused by the minute. Who can blame her?
With ease, (Y/n) put two marbles in between her palms and got them to rapidly spin around in a circle. Katara's jaw immediately fell open. The marbles fell back onto (Y/n)'s palm and she smiled. Then she plopped back onto the couch and fell asleep on Yuma's lap in about three seconds.
"(Y/n)'s an airbender, Katara. She's an airbender that needs training and your son is the only person alive that can help her," Zoh stated.
Katara looked like she was having a hard time processing this information. Yuma could relate. Katara then looked back down at the paternity tests like she really couldn't believe this child isn't Tenzin's. A completely understandable reaction.
"But how?" was all the older woman could muster out.
"Well. As it would turn out, (Y/n) is a descendant of Air Nomads from both sides of her family," Zoh told her.
Zoh pulled out her's and Yuma's family tree and pointed out the Air Nomads on each side.
"I'm not all that into genetic research, but something tells me it's almost impossible for (Y/n) to be an airbender. But she is and we need to know if Tenzin would be willing to train her," Zoh told her.
"Willing? Are you kidding me? Tenzin is going to be thrilled! Oh, it's his biggest dream to revive Air Nomad culture. Another living airbender not related to him is unimaginable. I have no doubt in my mind that he will be more than happy to train you daughter," Katara insisted now that she's relatively over her shock.
"Oh, that's wonderful news," Yuma sighed, utterly relieved.
"I need to call him right now. I'll make sure he gets here as fast as possible," the waterbending master informed them.
"Are you going to tell him (Y/n) can airbend over the phone?" Zoh asked curiously.
"Over the phone? Hah! I want to see his face when he finds this out. I'll just tell him it's urgent. If he leaves right after I call, his sky bison should get him here by the end of the day," Katara told them.
Oh thank spirits, it was going to be a quick situation. To be quite frank, Yuma has gotten really sick of waiting.
After getting off the phone with her son, Katara was kind enough to make them tea. While Tenzin would get here at some point today, it would be close to sunset when he arrived.
When (Y/n) woke up from her nap, Katara was heavily encouraging her to airbend. Yeah, the furniture was rearranged yet again. Thankfully, the waterbending master didn't mind at all. If all else fails, (Y/n) has a real future at being a one woman move in service.
As the sun began to hide behind the mountains, a loud roar was heard from outside. Katara got up from her chair, already knowing Tenzin had arrived. His wife, Pema, joined him in greeting his mother and introducing themselves to Yuma's family.
Yuma made sure to show Pema specifically (Y/n)'s parentage. They were, of course, confused out of their minds.
"Alright Turtle Duck, you know what to do," Yuma nodded.
"Do I get to move the chair?" (Y/n) asked excitedly.
"I don't see why not at this point," Yuma snorted.
(Y/n) then used her airbending to push the chair to the ceiling and gently lowered it back down. Zoh began clapping as Pema and Tenzin looked at (Y/n) with dropped jaws. Huh, Tenzin actually looked exactly like Katara with that expression. Strong genes.
"I know this seems impossible, but my daughter is an airbender. An airbender who needs a teacher. Master Tenzin, please, take on (Y/n) as a student," Yuma asked him.
Then, Tenzin fainted.
"I have to say, he took that much better than I thought he would," Katara noted.
Pema looked down at her husband then proceeded to check his pulse. (Y/n) frowned and looked down at the fallen man.
"Um, is he going to be okay?" the young girl asked.
"Eh, he'll be fine. But, more importantly, this is incredible! Another airbender! I know he's a little unconscious right now, but Tenzin will be more than happy to train your daughter. It's just, there's a bit of an issue with the living situation," Pema said while trailing off.
"I'm fully prepared to move wherever you need me to in order for (Y/n) to get proper training," Yuma said with zero hesitation.
She'd do anything for her daughter. This wouldn't be the first time Yuma's uprooted her entire life for family. If she's done it twice already, what's one more move?
"Cool, when are we moving?" Zoh asked.
"Oh, that's wonderful! That's really the only concern I had. We'll hash out the finer details once my husband regains consciousness," Pema smiled.
Yuma nodded and watched on as Pema then tended to the still knocked out man. The newly realized airbender furrowed her brows and aggressively crossed her arms.
"Mommy, I don't want to move. I want to stay near Gran Gran," (Y/n) frowned.
"Well that's an easy fix. I'm moving with you two," Zoh casually stated.
She's going to what now?
"Oh, okay! We can move now," (Y/n) said with a bright smile.
"Really, Mom? But you have a life here! You have work and-" Yuma began.
"And you two. I can find young waterbenders to train anywhere, but there's only one place where my family is. Besides, (Y/n) is going to be training as a bender. You're going to need a good healer on standby when accidents happen," Zoh told her.
Yuma sighed and wrapped the other woman in a firm hug. Zoh readily embraced her back. She watched as her daughter excitedly started to jump up and down at the prospect of her grandmother moving with them.
Yuma's daughter is an airbender. One of two in all four nations. Motherhood is not for the weak.

(Thirteen Years Later)
Korra sighed as she took a seat on one of the benches on Air Temple Island. It's been, to put it bluntly, an insane day. Republic City certainly isn't what she thought it would be. It's not like she had much of a choice, though. As the Avatar, she needed to learn to airbend. The selection of airbending masters are slim pickings given the fact that there's literally only two.
Given Tenzin's major responsibilities in Republic City, it did make sense that he wouldn't be able to get away from it even though it was always the plan for him to move to the South to teach her. What's always stumped Korra was the other airbending master, (Y/n). Mainly because they've never even met.
Tenzin's family visits rather infrequently to see Katara and Korra while she was in the South Pole. Korra’s heard all sorts of things about (Y/n) from the whole family over the years but the airbender’s never made an actual appearance. Apparently, the reason why the (Y/n) is unable to teach Korra is because she’s the one that gets sent out when there’s trouble with sky bison poachers. Some assignments take weeks, others take months and Korra doesn’t have that kind of time.
This (Y/n) girl has a pretty impressive track record. Got her airbending tattoos at age eleven, making her the youngest airbending master in recorded history. Korra remembers reading a paper a few years ago where (Y/n) saved a bunch of people from falling to their death in some gang related incident at the age of fourteen. Poor girl also had to fight off said gang members.
Korra’s always been quite curious about this air bending master. She figured now that she’s in Republic City and ultimately lives on the same island (Y/n) does, they would meet eventually. For now, Korra just has to wait.
Korra strolled around the island, looking for something to do. Maybe she could find an open space to train or something. She had some time to kill before dinner. Then, out of the corner of her eye she saw a couple adorable baby sky bison playing together. If Korra doesn’t get to pet one she might actually die. Knowing bison are a fan of apples, Korra picked a couple from the tree and held them out to the babies.
“C’mon little buddies, I’m not going to hurt you,” Korra cooed at the sweet little animals.
One of the babies perked up at the sight of the apple in Korra’s hand and began waddling towards her. Yes! Just when the baby was nearing Korra’s hand, she seemed to have been struck by an intense gust of wind.
Korra groaned as she landed on her back. Unfortunately, the madness did not stop there. Before she could even blink, Korra was literally suspended in mid air. She could feel air rushing at her from all sides, pinning all her limbs together as if she was in a strait jacket. Damn, she could barely breathe.
Okay, now Korra's starting to panic. She can't move which means she can't bend. Plus she has zero idea who is attacking her right now.
"Who the hell are you and what do you think you're doing to those bison?!" a woman's voice snapped.
At least now she can see the woman currently assaulting her. The attacker looked to be about Korra's age with (h/c) hair tied into a braid. Huh, her attacker is actually kind of pretty. But most notably, she had airbending tattoos.
Well this is not how Korra wanted to meet the other airbending master. She may not even need to deal with awkward introductions because Korra's pretty sure she's loosing consciousness.
"Korra, dinner's re- (Y/N) DROP HER RIGHT NOW THAT IS THE AVATAR!" Tenzin yelled in a frenzy.
The stern look on the airbender's face fell into a shocked one. Her arms flopped to her sides, releasing Korra from her air like prison. Korra doesn't even care that she managed to cut her arm on the fall down, she's just happy to be on solid ground again. The girl that can now certainly be identified as (Y/n) is just standing there in pure disbelief.
"She's the who now-"

12 fics I’ve enjoyed recently…
Last year I did a short-lived “weekly rereads” series to spread love for old favourites that kept me afloat when reading new things became a struggle. I was looking for ways to stay active and contribute to the fandom with minimal effort, and I found solace in revisiting fics that I hold dear in my heart. This year, spring brought the @dronarryfest to pull me back into reading mood. Fandom is starting to speak to me again after a very long time, and the euphoria hit me with inspiration to write this short rec post for my recent reads. I am joining the party a bit late but on the off chance these escaped your radar, here are some fics I’ve really enjoyed during my catch up moment in February/March, and a few I’m planning to dive into next. It’s so nice to be able to write comments and rec blurbs again! What have y’all been reading lately?
HP fics:
Wet Leather by @lqtraintracks (E, 492 words) - Harry/Sirius
I live for LQT’s rare pair drabbles especially when it’s for my beloved Sirry because nobody writes this ship like them. The A+ characterization always takes my breath away: so much tension laced with yearning, it feeds my horniest deepest Sirry cravings tripping between guilt and absolution. This short is full of heat, want and sweet indulgence, with the usual tenderness underneath driving me up the wall and making me soft and hot for these two. Also, “my drenched little pup” excuse sir I’m??? 🥵
Nightswimming by @sweet-s0rr0w (M, 5k) - established Drarry, Dron, implied Dronarry
One of my instant faves this year, what a masterclass in tension building! As always, I’m so impressed by sweets’ short form. The brilliant banter and relentless sexual tension put me at the edge of my seat praying for MOAR. The atmosphere is so captivating I could feel the temptation on my fingertips, and have I even mentioned Ron’s spot on voice?? Superb bromance dynamics, late night drive aesthetics, an impressive amount of characterization within 5k and a teasing ending full of promise, come and feast!
Borrowed Time by @the-starryknight (E, 7k) - Dron + Harry
Another delicious Dronarry treat, now showcasing established Dron, body swap, the sexiest UST you’ll see today and an incredibly satisfying payoff. Once again Starry delivers peak romance with their “hot & sweet” trademark mixing compelling dialogue, witty flirting and uncomplicated smut full of want but also trust, understanding and intimacy. Forget the maddening anticipation, the domestic slice-of-life tone made me swoon - the characters are so clearly fond and familiar with each other it’s only natural for them to come together like this.
Heart to Hearth by @jtimu (E, 7k) - Drarry
This fic is a breath of fresh air and I still remember how excited I felt reading it for the first time. I’ll never get tired of seeing Harry get utterly horny confused at an attractive and carefully guarded Draco being competent at his odd yet surprisingly fitting job. Repairman Draco is indeed mouthwateringly efficient with his long hair and coveralls, and their tentative and awkward dynamics are just excellent. Love the subtle humour, the bits of repair magic theory and the earnest slow burn, with a smooth progression towards deliciously indulgent smutty times. Amazing concept, perfectly executed.
Long Haul by @wolfpants (E, 8k) - Drarry
Wolf is killing it lately, loved their Dronarry but this fic stole my heart with the long haul love premise. The image of their encounter - Harry holding his passport between his teeth, Draco with Muggle headphones around his neck - stayed with me the whole night. Harry loves flying and connects with NYC for the same reasons I do, so this fic spoke to me in a very personal way. I love everything from the title and bold flirting to the scorching hot and intimate smut with smooth daddy Draco! Not too long ago I prompted Florence’s “End of Love” for Wireless - unknowingly, Wolf wrote the NYC fic I’ve dreamed about when I thought of it 💜
Permanent by @citrusses (M, 14k) - Drarry, Dron
I’ve always been drawn to time travel and Citrus set up a thrilling, mysterious mood that’s impossible to resist. I was deeply intrigued not only by the plot but also by the complexity of these characters - a belligerent Harry with daddy issues and a saviour complex (yes pls!), edgy and focused Hermione, perceptive and kind Ron charming his way inside our hearts, and a lonely Draco trying to make sense of the plot, handle his feelings and find his foot in the post-war world. I loved being inside his mind - such brilliant characterization - and seeing the golden trio through his eyes. This fic has a wistful, melancholy tone mirroring Draco’s longing for Harry that hit me right in the solar plexus. It is also a great Ron study, and I’ll admit that made me fall even harder for Dron. Finally, it is tender and devastating as all good things are. A brilliant read and an instant favorite.
Dick Chicken by @oknowkiss (E, 15k) - Harry/Draco/Ron
Believe me when I say this is the Seinfeld AU you didn’t know you needed because you don’t wanna miss out on this. Hands down one of the most entertaining fics I’ve read in a while, this is hysterical funny, witty and steamy. The perfect mix of crack-y and casually horny vibes with a quirky Draco, a lovable and relatable Harry, and a hot Ron who’s 100% there for the ride, this chaotic trio will pull you into an unhinged journey and you’re gonna thank them for that 🤣 superb Harry pov, a warm and playful atmosphere that feels intoxicating, and a glorious shower scene followed by a fake orgasm competition. You’re heard it right. Run don’t walk!
Knot Your Average Coworkers by @thecouchsofa (E, 22k) - Drarry
Office romance is my kryptonite and I couldn’t stop giggling as I made my way through this wolf!Draco treat. I was instantly smitten with the charming characters, the delightful silly knotting jokes 🌝 and the good old oblivious friends/coworkers to lovers dynamics that always gets me. Pining Harry wooing Draco through cooking is SO my jam, the perfect mix of sweet comfort & unbearable UST that fills me with joy and anticipation while also wanting to smash their heads together “kiss kiss fall in love” style. Yum!
Cargo Case by @sleepstxtic (E, 23k) - Drarry
This was such an exciting ride, I love the inherent yearning & intimacy of break up/make up stories and this case fic kept me engaged and rooting for Drarry (and Pansy/Parvati!) the whole time. It was wonderful to see them not being antagonistic after a break up for a change - there’s delicious ust, fabulous Draco & Pansy brOTP, not to mention their super cool job. I was as invested in the plot as I was in the romance, and I’ve had a really fun time following them around. Undercover boyfriends for the win!!!!
Truth to Materials by @toomuchplor, lately (E, 54k) - Drarry
Another fabulous plor fic as per, this artist!Draco story immediately won my heart with the hilarious opening scene and the perfect combo of Draco’s “brazen gay” voice and Harry’s “bi panic” mind. What a delight! Love the clever dialogue, the mood so chaotic horny but the humorous tone making me giggle my way through the delicious loo sex scene. Unique premise, great pacing, fantastic cast and charming characterization - this fic is so easy to devour it doesn’t feel like a 50k journey at all. The story is great fun, very engaging but also delivering multiple tender and heartkick-y moments. It checks all my boxes including our king Ron Weasley putting a banana into Draco’s sculptural arsehole 🤣 what else could I ask for?
Skybound by @xanthippe74 (T, 61k) - Drarry
As a longtime fan of Ghibli’s movies, I was over the moon to see one my own faves adapted to fit the HP universe. This is the Howl’s Moving Castle AU we deserve, a light, enchanting and fun read with a lovely smooth Draco and a lovely earnest Harry making such a great pair. I love how Xan played with the original material making adjustments here and there, and giving life to Timpsy, the apprentice elf with a whole subplot involving mistreatment of magical beings. Very sweet and creative read!
Other fandoms:
a man—with human flesh by spqr (E, 14k) - Paul/Duncan, Dune
I love that this author writes for all of my favorite ships, I feel so spoiled! This is (yet another) banger following the 2nd Dune movie and a fascinating dive into Paul’s fractured mind struggling between his long-standing affection for Duncan and the intrusive thoughts under BG’s influence. So intense, vivid and thought-provoking. I was hooked from beginning to end and deeply immersed in this universe. Love me a fic about emotional implications and complications while delivering excellent character studies, this is the shit I live for right here 🤌🏼
Next up on my to-read list:
Home series by @hoko-onchi-writes (E, 22k)
In which Draco grows up hiding and finds out he doesn't want to do that anymore. And he doesn't want his son to hide, either. (…). In which Harry grows up in darkness, falls in love, fucks up, learns some things, and falls in love again.
Passing Stranger by @lettersbyelise (E, 53k)
Five years after the war, Harry, listless and depressed, stumbles upon Draco Malfoy playing the violin in an underground bar in Muggle London. The catch? Draco lost his memories five years ago. Ignoring his friends’ advice, Harry befriends an unwitting Draco, overlooking the fact that their mutual attraction might not survive if Draco’s memories return.
The Star Splitter by @oflights (E, 219k)
On a routine time travel assignment to the past, Draco stumbles upon 7-year-old Harry Potter and witnesses his neglect and mistreatment by the Dursleys. In the moment, there is only one solution, even if it goes against all his training as a Time Agent: he has to bring Harry back to the future with him. In which Draco burns his life down for the sake of his former school rival.

I haven't seen this particular gem of a post but there is apparently one going around stating that everyone in the ACOTAR world has suffered more than Lucien, that he doesn't know suffering.
Just a little starter here. The first book began with Lucien's friend being murdered because they needed to sacrifice him in order to break the curse on Spring.
"Autumn Court is ...cutthroat. Beautiful, but his brothers see each other only as competition, since the strongest of them will inherit the title."
"Lucien fell in love with a faerie whom his father considered to be grossly inappropriate for someone of his bloodline." "His father had her put down. Executed, in front of Lucien, as his two eldest brothers held him and made him watch."
"Without his title protecting him, his brothers thought to eliminate one more contender to the High Lord's crown. Three of them went out to kill him."
"But he has never forgotten what they did to her, or what his brothers tried to do to him. Even if he pretends that he has."
"She took his eye as punishment. Carved it out with her own fingernail, then scarred his face. She sent him back so bloody that Tamlin...The High Lord vomited when he saw his friend."
Lucien's brothers lurked on the edges of the crowd - no remorse, no fear on their handsome faces. Amarantha sighed. "I thought you would have learned your lesson, Lucien. Though this time your silence will damn you as much as your tongue." Lucien kept his eyes shut. Ready - he was ready for Rhysand to wipe out everything he was, to turn his mind, his self into dust.
"but only after she made Tamlin bestow Lucien's punishment. Twenty lashes." (remember, because he tried to help Feyre in her trial? Also she prevented Lucien from being able to heal).
"Lucien lay chained to the center of the floor on the other side of the chamber, his remaining russet eye so wide that it was surrounded with white. / Again he was to be Amarantha's toy to torment."
"Don't give me that look, Lucien." SIlence again. Then a vicious snarl, and a shudder of magic rocked the house. Tamlin's voice had been low, deadly. Do not push me on this. I didn't want to know what was happening in that room, what he'd done to Lucien.
Thoughts slammed into me, images and memories, a pattern of thinking and feeling that was old, and clever and sad, endlessly sad and guilt-ridden, hopeless -
"She - she didn't act that way at..." Lucien. Lucien had hated her. Had made vague, vicious allusions to not liking her, to being approached by her. I was going to throw up. Had she...had she pursued him like that? Had he...had he been forced to say yes because of her position?
He might have completed the Great Rite with Ianthe of his own free will, but he certainly hadn't enjoyed it. Some line had been blurred - badly.
I waited the five minutes it took Tamlin to decide not to kill Lucien, and then smiled. I wondered if Lucien had pieced it together. That I had known Tamlin would come to my room tonight, after I had given him so many shy touches and glances today.
"Back off". "Do not touch me," he growled." Where Lucien stood, back against a tree - twin bands of blue stone shackled around his wrists. / And in this case...holding Lucien against that tree as Ianthe surveyed him like a snake before a meal. She slid a hand over the broad panes of his chest, his stomach. And Lucien's eyes shot to me as I stepped between the trees, fear and humiliation reddening his golden skin.
As the youngest of seven sons, I wasn't particularly needed or wanted."
"Did you think it was mere hatred that prompted my brothers to do their best to break and kill me?"
The circle of people who now claimed to be Feyre's new family...It was what, long ago, he'd once thought life at Tamlin's court would be. An ache like a blow to the chest went through him.
"I am Lucien. Seventh son of the High Lord of the Autumn Court. And a whole lot of nothing.
"I do not belong in the Autumn Court. And I'm willing to be I'm no longer welcome at h- the Spring Court." Home, he had almost said.
"The same things he does now." Helion waved a hand. "Belittle her, leave bruises where no one but him will see them." (So to recap, Beron physically and verbally abuses his WIFE, killed Lucien's love and people think he had an easy childhood with this man?)
It would explain why his father and brothers detest him so much - why they have tormented him his entire life.
I hadn't asked Lucien any questions about that visit - to Tamlin. Lucien hadn't explained the black eye and cut lip, either.
"I don't have anywhere else to go." "You ruined any chances I have of going back to Spring. Not to Tamlin, but to the court beyond his house. Everyone either still believes the lies you spun or they believe me complicit in your deceit" - Side note but even knowing this, about how the people feel about him because of Feyre's schemes, Lucien still allowed the NC to permanently station him there in SF. It's really cute of E/riels to think Az is having such a rough go of it, living in the Night Court with the brothers who love him, while Lucien just has it so easy, right?
The male had grown up alongside Eris. Had dealt with Eris's and Beron's cruelty. Had his lover slaughtered by his own father.
This paragraph is about Eris: Beron had tortured his own son for information, rather than thanking the Mother for returning him. / The male had been raised with every luxury and privilege - on paper. But who knew what terrors Beron had inflicted upon him?
So with that said, If that's how Beron treated his own son how do you think he treated the son he suspected belonged to another man?
Cassian knew Beron had murdered Lucien's lover. If the High Lord of Autumn had been willing to do that, what wouldn't he do?
So by all means, I'd love to know how a character who we have canon evidence of suffering from his younger years all the way through the present has it so much easier than everyone else?
Someone's selective reading is showing!!

They say once you delete social media, you'll get your life back. So, I deleted my instagram a few months ago and I've been inactive on snapchat for as long as I can remember. I even uninstalled Netflix and other OTT platforms.
So, here an honest account of my life without the mainstream social media and the changes that I saw.
No, I didn't magically start sleeping early. I had to force myself not to open youtube and scroll shorts, and I had to force myself to shut my eyes close. Most of the nights, I'd lay wide awake looking up at the ceiling with thoughts running wild in my mind.
However, I learned to pat my own back and say positive affirmations while drifting off to sleep. I learned how a warm cup of milk at night would solve half of my sleep problems. I started meditation where I usually scroll through reels. I became more aware of the things that calm me down and hence, a better timely sleep.
No, I didn't magically start spending hours on studying or being productive. Most of the days, I hardly managed to get a 2 hour study session done. Or, I'd spend time watching random youtube videos and available dramas.
However, I got so bored of it that studying seemed more interesting and so I did. I learned to concentrate on one task for hours through practice and consistency which was surprisingly a result of my boredom. And in the process, I managed to increase my attention span from '30 seconds of reels' to 2-3 hours of lectures.
No, I didn't magically start feeling happier. Instead I spend hours sitting with my insecurities, feeding my loneliness because I had no one to interact over reels, no one to interact through posts and stories. I had no information about my friends' whereabouts and all the other things happening in their life. No one had mine either. I felt alone, perhaps, lonely for the majority of time.
However, in the meanwhile, I found real friends who started texted me on whatsapp and made genuine efforts to keep me in touch through phone calls and video calls. And so did I.
No, I neither magically became successful nor an academic weapon. I mean, I still had to google if it's 'successful' or 'successfull'. I still lack a lot of basic information and general awareness. And no, I'm not earning in lakhs, not yet.
However, I managed to read more, be it fiction or non-fiction, self help books. I've become more self aware and more realistic. I know why I am the way I am because I started reading on it. I started analyzing the situations and the resulted behaviour. I might not be successful yet, but I'm ahead of the person I used to be a few months ago.
No, I didn't magically lost the weight or improved my health. I was lethargic most of the time. I still am. I still eat a whole bag of chips and a can of sode while watching series.
However, I started sleeping better with no negativity or disturbance-a byproduct of consuming social media. My dark circles have started fading out, my skin has become healthier. I wake up early and go to gym regularly. But this time, not to post a gym story but for myself.
I didn't see the changes as fast as other people claim. I tormented myself without social media and while doing so I sculpted a new me, a better me. In the end, it is worth it.

MOTORCITY SEASON 2 MASTERPOST
once upon a time, over 10 years ago, just a few months after the announcement that Motorcity was officially canceled...the creators of the show took pity on their heartbroken fandom and gave us several glimpses of what season 2 might have been like. they saw how much we loved Motorcity and gave us every scrap of info they could at the time, so that we could use those scraps to imagine our own personal "Season 2" - whether it continue on in our fics, our fanart, or simply our own heads.
I'm making this masterpost so that none of this material will be lost or forgotten, and so any fanartists/fic writers still hanging around today can use it for inspiration. if there's any related material I've missed, PLEASE feel free to add it in a reblog or let me know in my inbox! I want this list to be as complete as we can make it! :)

Capri Chilton - Mike Chilton's long lost big sister! I can't remember where or when it was first revealed that they were considering giving Mike a secret older sister, and I haven't been able to track down the origin. that being said, when it was revealed, the fandom loved the idea so much that they begged the creators to make it canon. Chris P busted out the "magical canon stick", gave us this delightful concept sketch, and "Capri Chilton" was born!

The Motorcity Series Bible "To help you all understand what it is you are reading, this is the material that Titmouse used to help pitch Motorcity, and it was also a tool for writers to use when coming up with episodes to help understand who the characters were before there was any other reference. That being said, this was one of the very first documents about Motorcity, so many things have changed or evolved from these early concepts." (x)

I saw someone saying that the farmer is “special” (explaining why they always get to see the blue jellyfish every summer) and this idea came to my head.
May I request some headcanons on the adventurer’s POV where they realized the farmer is “special”, and kinda fall for them the moment they realized that?
Think of it as like the lantern scene between Eugene and Rapunzel in Tangled. Thanks in advance ^^
Honestly, it turned out more like one-shot than headcanon, but I hope you enjoy this format as well, dear anon. Thanks for the ask! 🫰💕

Alesia:
It had been so long since Alesia had set foot in the Cindersap Forest. The last time she'd been here was probably ten years ago, when Marlon had taken her to train and gather mushrooms for brewing elixirs. It hadn't changed much since she'd moved to Castle Village, so it would be easy for her to remember all the paths here. Venturing deeper into the forest, she scrutinised the majestic poplars, looking for the secluded spots of mushroom colonies and simply enjoying nature. After all, she had missed the forest...
The archer's attention was drawn to some movement behind the dense blackberry bushes. Crouching down and trying not to make a sound, she curiously crept closer and closer until she finally reached the bushes. What Alesia saw made her very surprised. She had expected to see a fox or a grouse, but instead she saw the Farmer surrounded by wild deer.
A young male, three females, and four fawns - one big friendly family of noble creatures that surrounded the Farmer and would not let them pass. The adult deer licked Farmer's hands, jostling slightly in an attempt to take all attention for themselves, while the little fawns jumped and galloped around unrestrainedly. One even stole a tasty cave carrot from the Farmer's basket.
Alesia was so amused by this picture, how all these forest creatures demanded the Farmer's attention, affection, to be scratched behind the ears... And the way the Farmer glows with happiness, how they genuinely laugh and smile...
The crunch of a dry branch that the sniper stepped on immediately made all the deer turn their heads in her direction and prick up their ears. The male shook the signal and the whole herd galloped away, leaving the slightly confused Farmer alone.
Alesia emerged from the bushes and nodded a greeting to Farmer.
"Sorry, didn't mean to scare them," she smiled slightly guiltily at Farmer.
"Actually, I should thank you. They follow me around forever when I'm picking berries in the forest," Farmer was still smiling just as broadly. "Or else they'd steal all my carrots from me!"
That event was something Alesia would remember for a long time after returning to the Galdoran Continent.
Lance:
The Lunaloo migration, or Moonlight Jellies as they are commonly known, is perhaps one of the most majestic phenomena Lance has ever seen. They are frequent visitors not only to the Stardew Valley, but also to Ginger Island, so Lance was able to enjoy the beautiful sight without leaving his post.
Once again, the pale light emanating from the magical jellyfish illuminated the entire shore. Lance sensed this energy and quickly teleported to the docks. However, he didn't know that there were more spectators here who had come to see the jellyfish.
Farmer had been on Ginger Island for a month now and their presence wasn't too surprising. But as far as the pink-haired adventurer could remember, all the people of the Valley come together on this day. So why is the Farmer here? And alone?
Lance wanted to call out to them, but stopped himself when he noticed something even more unusual: at least five green, Shining Lunaloo were swimming very close to Farmer when they put their hand into the sea water. Such jellyfish were very rare, and the fact that there were as many as five floating near Farmer...
"A wonderful sight, don't you think?" Lance thought to himself that he should learn not to scare people with his sudden appearance, for this was the second time he'd made them jump in surprise. "Sorry, my friend, didn't mean to disturb you."
"That's okay, don't worry," Farmer assured him, and then their attention turned back to the jellyfish. "Look how beautiful!" they pointed with their hand at the glowing water.
"Beautiful creatures, indeed," Lance agreed.
The two stood in silence for half a minute, only the sound of the sea waves and the distant noise of the local jungle fauna could be heard.
"You know," Farmer broke the silence, "I don't know why, but those jellyfish, the green one, always come near me. Strange, isn't it?"
"Lunaloo are creatures imbued with magic. So it's no wonder they sense magic in you, too." Or something special, Lance wanted to add, but decided not to distract the Farmer any further with conversation, examining the jellyfish closer and setting himself up for dreamy thoughts.
Isaac:
Fireflies... They were strange creatures, at least to Isaac, who had never seen fireflies. In fact, neither had he seen any of the other fauna of the forest. The dark-haired adventurer was so used to the quicksand and bloody fog of the Crimson Baldlans that he was beginning to wonder about fireflies. Even the gardens created by their witch Camilla in Castle Village can't compare to the beauty of nature. And yes, Isaac was a connoisseur of beauty too, even but only a couple of people knew it.
He was standing on the dock near Marlon's boat, enjoying the silence of the night and the scenery of Adventurer Summit. And then, it flew past him - a glowing bug that caught the Isaac's attention. The firefly flew higher and higher, and without knowing why, Isaac followed the insect up the stairs. What was his surprise when the firefly he was following headed straight for the Farmer, who was surrounded by dozens of other fireflies.
Like a large camp lantern, they stood motionless, trying not to scare away the bugs that had managed to land on their sleeves. Noticing Isaac, the Farmer chugged a smile.
"Hey, good night. Um. Yeah, I know I look a little silly for you, right?" Silence was the answer for Farmer, and they weren't surprised at that - Isaac was a man of few words. The most they could hear from the monster hunter was a snort because the Farmer had once again interrupted his rest and enjoyment of solitude with his noisy company.
But the scarred man had a completely different look - there was no rolling of the eyes, no irritation, no anger, no indifference. His gaze was so soft and so unnatural to Isaac that the Farmer was a little confused.
Isaac, after all, was a connoisseur of beauty, and now he was looking at something more beautiful. Maybe something more beautiful than even the fireflies.

You woke up not feeling your hands. Not able to move them in fact.
With your eyes still heavy, your vision takes a while to steady and take the place you were in. Drawers on your right are full of little glass bottles and mixing pots, on your left side a window with a breeze slowly coming in, blowing the white curtain. The smell of flowers getting into your nostrils - It must be spring time - you think.
Your wrists are strongly tucked into the bed by the sides of your body, ankles free but it is not like you have the strength to fight with your legs anyway. At least the cut in your ribcage was not hurting anymore, fully healed. The fact made you question how long you stayed unconscious.
A groan left your dry lips when the tiredness of your muscles settle in. The sound must have warned whoever trapped you because no long after you hear footsteps coming closer to the door of the little room you were in.
The person walked in covered by the shadows. Your eyes slowly adjust to recognize the creature that may be a threat.
First you see the wings. The huge pair of leather wings similar to a bat, both stiff in the back as if sensing something dangerous.
Then you see the leather armor, hugging the most muscular body you had ever seen and by that you know you have no chance of defense.
The blue stones shine more brightly once he starts to step into the room. There were seven of them. You wonder what the purpose of them is. Should you be scared of it? Is it just jewelry? Is it magical?
The last thing you glance at is his face.
His face.
Your head starts to spin. This isn’t possible right? This must be another vivid dream. You must look more pale than the sheets you’re laying in the bed, because you feel the blood stop running through your veins.
This was the male.
But not the male that you know.
His hazel eyes were not warm and did not bring comfort like you remember them doing. His brows were furrowed giving a hard glance towards you.
The full and soft lips were closed in a thin line.
His muscular arms closed in front of his chest. A sign he was not open to anything or anyone.
The shadow cripping in his shoulder and ankles don’t go unnoticed by you. The sight of them was almost comforting for you somehow.
“Who are you. And what are you doing here?” He says in an old language, startling you from your thoughts.
You understood, from learning the language years ago. But hearing someone actually speaking it, was out of your expectations in life.
“I’m demanding an answer in case my tone didn’t make it clear enough.” He was harsher this time, sending goosebumps in your body.
“I-I’m sorry. I have never heard this language before.” Your throat hurts by sounding your voice out. Your strong accent is noticeable even by you. At this point it was quite clear you were not in your world anymore, you have no idea how you traveled through the portals.
A confused frown takes place in his face.
“My name is Y/N.” You said with more confidence this time. “I’m from Midgard. And I have no idea how I came to your world. I’m just confused as you are.” You say in an unsteady breath. A little breathy laugh coming off, not believing all this situation.
The recent events coming all at once for you for the first time. You’ve never felt so vulnerable. And what a situation to feel that way. You must be looking pathetic in his eyes.
“Our High Lord is coming to talk to you.” He says and leans in the wall on your left, next to the window. Eyes never letting go of your frame, as you were about to do something tricky.
The sunshines meets his face, exposing more of his beautiful facial features. You could help but stare. Mind still spinning wild about how this could be possible, how you could finally meet him, and him not having a clue who you o are, even with both of you living a whole life together in your dreams.
The dreams were just for you. Apparently.
You hear more footsteps approaching. Two more people, you recognize. The door opens revealing them.
High Faes.
Your breath stops in your throat when you take the male in. The dark hair, facial features and eye color. He’s exactly like Ruhn. But he has the same wings as the shadow male in your right.
The female beside him was just as breathtaking. Her blue and gray-ish eyes are warm and welcoming, but slightly tired.
The scent of their bond soon meets your nose. Strong and irreplaceable. How lucky they are, you think. The scent of a baby comes right after. A newborn, that explains why she seems tired.
“You kept her trapped in the bed?” The female asks, turning to the hazel eyed male. Her face is disbelief.
He only shrugs, the female only sighs and comes in your direction. Instantly going to the fabric strongly wrapped around your wrists, undoing them.
“You can sit by yourself?” She asked once you were free. Her words were slow, as if she knew their language was not the same as yours.
You nodded to her and used the last strength you had in your arm to sit yourself on the bed. You can’t help but contort your face at the feeling of the dried blood in your shirt.
The violet-eyed male comes to place himself next to her. His power is leaking from him, showing protectiveness towards his mate and mother of his child next to some stranger.
“I guess we need to present each other right?” He says with a forming smile. “What is your name?” He asked, meeting your gaze.
“I’m Y/N.” You said, voice low.
“Pleasure to meet you, Y/N. I’m Rhysand, the High Lord of the Night Court. And this is Feyre, the High Lady.” Feyre gives you a small smile.
“The grumpy male on your left is Azriel. He’s the Spymaster of this court.” The male rolls his eyes at the High Lord.
When you heard his name something clicked for you. You asked yourself if he felt the same.
“Can you say how you came here? What do you remember happening?” Feyre asks you calmly.
You open and close your mouth a couple of times. Not knowing exactly how to start explaining.
“You can take your time finding the words. We understand it must be hard to speak a language that’s not yours.” Azriel says getting your attention. Rhysand and Feyre looked at him as well, but you don’t understand what their gazes were saying.
“I heard a chord, like an instrument. Then everything went black and I woke up in a forest. Some creature started hunting me, I knocked it out and went to a cavern to hide.” You said slowly, remembering everything in your head. “I was going unconscious from the blood loss, and started to hear voices.”
“What kind of voices?” Rhysand asks.
“They were almost like whispers.” Azriel shifts in his place at your answer. “I don’t know if I heard them when I blacked out. But it seems like it, because I was in a dark place. They asked what I needed help with, and I said for them to take me somewhere safe.”
They look at each other for some time. You don’t know how, but they were certainly speaking to each other at this point.
“I heard the same voices before hearing the chord.” You remembered. The three of them look at you expecting. “They were anxious, like they didn’t know what to do. And they kept saying ‘Save him’.”
“Save who?” The High Lord asks.
“I don’t know. It didn’t say a name.”
“When exactly did you hear the voices before the chord?” Azriel asks while getting closer to you. His tall figure towering and hiding the sunrays of your frame.
“Like 10 minutes before. It wasn’t much time.”
“Nyx.” He said. “The voices were saying to her save Nyx.” Rhysand and Feyre look at him at the same time.
“But how exactly is this possible? And it didn’t work after all, right? Nyx don’t need to be saved anymore.” Feyre says.
You were so confused. Looking at each of them, like watching the ball at a tennis game.
“What I’m thinking is…” Rhysand starts, index finger coming to scratch his jaw. Putting his thoughts into place. “Maybe Azriel's shadows is more powerful than we think.”

A car and cab pull up to a large neighbourhood with tall high-rise apartments with multiple swimming pools, luxury lounges, and gyms. You aren’t surprised, considering Furina’s wealth and status. Soon, you and the dragon gang are behind Signora as she presses a couple of buttons on a call box.
“I’ve been expecting you! Come on in.”
As the gates start opening, Dan Feng notices Zhongli's skeptical look.
“Is something wrong?” Dan Feng asks.
"Oh, it's... It's nothing," is the answer as Zhongli follows Signora inside.
"My sixth sense is telling me otherwise," Bailu says quietly.
You walk past a diamond chandelier in the lobby and politely nod at those at the receptionist's desk. Eventually, you’re standing in front of a tall door that looks identical to the others on the brightly lit floor. As soon as the door opens, you see a short, young woman with fair skin and eyes with different shades of blue.
“You…”
Everyone turns to Zhongli who looks like he's seen a ghost.
Furina smiles. “Long time no see, old friend.” She opens the door wider. “And of course, my dear Chief Justice.”
"Old friend?" Bailu asks, looking from Furina to Zhongli. “Do you two know each other?”
“It’s… a long story,” Zhongli says, sighing.
Finally, she looks at you. “Why do I have a feeling we’ve met before?”
“I can assure you we’ve never met,” you say calmly. “But… You knew Dan Heng and his mother.”
“Ah!” Furina’s smile turns nostalgic and sad. “Were you his girlfriend? I remember…” Then, she said your name, and you nod. “He mentioned you.”
“If I may,” Neuvilette says, his arms crossed, his stern gaze never leaving Furina. “You have a lot of explaining to do.”
Furina pushes the door more. “I know, I know. It’s been… What? Centuries? Surely, we’ll need more than one afternoon to catch up.”
“I understand all of you have some kind of history with each other,” Signora says, entering Furina’s insanely large flat. “But, I hope we won’t deviate from our focus.”
“Ah, yes." Furina walks to the kitchen. “Lan and Nanook… Our notorious Aeons, am I correct?”
“Before that,” Neuvilette says, frowning. “I need to know. Why are you here? How are you alive?”
“Now, now, Chief Justice, I know you must be ecstatic to see your old pupil.” Furina grabs some fancy-looking teacups and starts pouring tea from an elegant-looking teapot. “Take a seat, and I’ll tell you about my little adventure.”
You, Dan Feng, and Neuvilette take one couch in the living room while Zhongli, Bailu, and Signora take the other. After putting the tray of cups and biscuits on the glass table, Furina sits in a large, blue armchair where a white cat is sleeping at the top.
“Let’s start with the basics, shall we? My name is Furina. In this world, I’m in the luxury business. But, I was once a lawyer”—she looks at Neuvilette—”studying under the great Mr. Chief Justice.”
Neuvilette frowns. “But that was centuries ago.”
Furina picks up her teacup and smiles at him. “I’ve been around much longer than you think.”
“Longer than Lan and Nanook?” Signora asks.
“Correct.”
Bailu frowns. “How? With magic?"
“She was once a god." Furina smiles. Bailu looks from Zhongli to Furina and back to Zhongli until he says, “Before the Castle of Dragons… Before any of the gods existed, there were the Archons, the original gods who created life.”
“The Archons…”
Dan Feng looks at you. “Do you know something about them?”
“There’s a lot of folklore surrounding them. My parents used to tell me stories of them when I was a kid…” You look at Zhongli. “But those were just stories… You’re saying they really existed?”
Furina chuckles. “You’re looking at one of them.”
“Is that true?” Dan Feng asks Zhongli with obvious surprise. “You... You kept this a secret from us this whole time?”
“There was never a reason to bring it up.”
Bailu scoffs. “Yeah, I guess just randomly dropping the fact that you’re one of the original gods who created life is too much for us to bear.” She slaps his leg. “How dare you!”
Neuvilette sighs. “This is what happens when we don't talk about our pasts.”
“That’s ‘cause we want to stay away from all the gloom and doom!” Bailu says. “Heck, if I were one of the original Archons, I’d flaunt it.”
“No, you wouldn’t,” Neuvilette deadpans.
“It sounds like something happened to them,” you say, taking a biscuit. “I mean…" You look at the dragon gang. "You're gods. If none of you knew Zhongli and Furina were Archons, what happened to them?”
“You catch on fast,” Furina says, leaning forward with curiosity in her eyes. “You’re supposed to be human, right? Sounds like you know quite a bit."
Signora has one leg crossed over the other. “Well? Don’t keep us in the dark.” She looks at Zhongli. “Is she right?”
“There was what was known as the Archon War,” Zhongli says, after a pause. “There wasn’t just a few of us. There was an Archon for every aspect of life. Some created terrain such as mountains and another made the seven seas. But, when it came time to decide on a ruling party, a consensus couldn’t be reached.”
A gavel hitting the block echoed throughout the large courtroom but failed to silence the overlapping conversations completely.
“We agreed upon a democratic vote,” a woman with long, dark violet hair said calmly, but her patience was wearing thin. “All of us should respect the result.”
Someone scoffed. “Respect a result where it’s skewed?” They glared at her. “You may have won, but the combined votes of the opposition clearly show they do not want you in power, Ei.”
“Please stop fighting,” a man said. “This will get us nowhere.”
Another stood up. “Screw the votes. Why are we deciding amongst ourselves? We should let the people, those we preside over, decide who should rule. We're doing this for their future, are we not? Whoever we decide on bears the responsibility of paving humanity's future."
“That is absurd! Do humans have the knowledge or common sense to decide on a proper ruling party? They are prone to bias and rely on feelings.”
As a war of words broke out, a man in a brown and white cloak watched from the sidelines before making eye contact with another who was also watching in silence: a slim, young woman with long white hair and light blue streaks.
“Instead of solving our conflict rationally, a war broke out to determine the strongest of us all,” Zhongli continues, picking up his tea. “And it wasn’t just us who suffered. Because of our actions, we also caused great grief to the humans. Crops failed to grow due to absurd weather, night and day became indistinguishable, and many natural disasters shouldn’t have happened.”
“Many died in that war,” Dan Feng says, “and only seven survived. Am I right?”
“I should have known you would know something about it.”
“I’ve read about it. But while there were details of the Archon War, there wasn’t a lot on the Archons themselves.”
“Well, you’re right. Only seven survived, but we didn’t escape unharmed.”
“We were much too weak,” Furina says, putting her teacup down and picking up a biscuit. “If we didn’t do something, we would cease to exist as we couldn’t carry out our duties as gods anymore. Those who survived still wanted to live… so, we used the last of our strength to split ourselves apart.”
“Wait a minute…” Bailu narrows her eyes. “Are you saying there’s more than one Zhongli? More than one you?”
“Not exactly,” Zhongli says. “It would be more accurate to say that we split from the power we had left which poured into repairing the damage of the Archon War. We were left as a human when we separated from our magic.”
“With all of your memories as an Archon?” Neuvilette asks.
“Gosh,” Bailu mutters. “Would that be a curse or a blessing?”
“Is that how magic was born?” Dan Feng asks. “Through the remaining powers of the Archons that seeped into different parts of life?”
Furina smiles. “Of course, there’s no solid proof… but I’d say so.”
“But… If all of you still had your memories,” you say, “how come you didn’t know each other?”
“We took on different forms and names as Archons,” Zhongli says. “While we still have our memories, we never crossed paths again since we became human.”
“I saw the look in his eyes at the door,” Furina says, slightly chuckling. “We recognized each other instantly. Perhaps that’s how it is if we ever meet the other Archons.”
“Now, hang on a darn minute,” Bailu says, turning to Zhongli. “How’d you end up at the Castle of Dragons if you’re already an Archon? You lived a human life as Zhongli and then became a god again?”
“I can ask the same for you, Furina,” Neuvilette says, frowning. “Your appearance now is how I met you. You also know who I am, which means you have memories of your life as a lawyer. The Archon War didn't happen during my time. So, I have to ask.” He looks at her. “Are you a god? A human? What are you?”
Furina finishes her tea, but before she pours herself another cup, she refills everyone else’s. “After becoming Furina, I remained human for a while until I recovered my magic." She picks up her cup and takes a long sip. “And since then, I retained this form without getting older."
“You can’t be serious,” Bailu says, frowning. “I spent a good portion of my life researching immortality and all it takes is a little Archon magic? I feel cheated.”
Furina chuckles. “Not exactly, my little doctor friend. It wasn’t just any Archon magic. It was my magic. It was like I recovered myself as a god. Except, I never changed to the form I once took. I'm stuck in this body.”
Dan Feng turns to Zhongli. “Why do I have a feeling you never tried recovering your Archon magic?”
“At one point, I did, but… I let it go.”
“Why?” Bailu asks.
“That is a story for another time,” Zhongli answers, to Bailu’s dismay. “When the Archons became human, we were treated as such. We weren't special because of our pasts. So, the story of how I became a god shares a common theme similar to yours."
After a moment of silence, Neuvilette turns to Furina. “Well, this explains how you knew so much about magic.”
Neuvilette couldn’t believe his eyes. Did a textbook—his textbook—just teleport from one place to another? But, more importantly, why was his pupil responsible? He closed the door to his study, and she spun around.
“Chief Justice! You scared me! You could’ve said something earlier.”
“I just got here.”
Furina looked at the silent clock on the wall. “Much earlier than anticipated, but I shouldn’t have expected less.”
Neuvilette walked to the table. “What were you doing?”
“I think you knew exactly what I was doing."
Neuvilette looked at his textbook on the coffee table. “You… made something teleport.” Then, his attention went back to her. “Since when do you know something about magic?”
“It's impossible not to know something about magic, don’t you think, Chief Justice? It’s humanity’s flashy new toy.”
“But not a lot is known about it,” Neuvilette said skeptically. “How would you know how to wield it?”
Furina smiled. “I’ve been dabbling. What? Are you interested?” She chuckled. “I could mentor you if you want.”
But, Neuvilette didn’t look pleased. “It’s dangerous.”
“Are you talking about black magic? If so, then I agree.”
“All magic is dangerous,” Neuvilette emphasized. “White magic, if used for the wrong motives, does that not count as black magic?”
Furina sighed. “We are far too early to distinguish between white and black magic. But, you make a valid point, Chief Justice. I wonder how our laws will change as magic gets more developed.” She picked up his pen. “Could you imagine the possibilities if we could make people teleport?” Neuvilette narrowed his eyes. “It could change the world.”
You can’t put your finger on it, but something is tugging at the back of your mind. You remember Dan Feng’s story of the surprise military attack and your dream about eavesdropping on an important conversation. Could the woman who betrayed the brothers know something about teleportation? But, before that, you need to know…
“Was that ever made possible?"
“Hm?” Furina asks. “You mean human teleportation?” A pause. “It was."
Your heart races, and you’re about to ask another question when Signora cuts in.
“What about the Aeons? Do they know who you are? Who you were?”
“Lan and Nanook were humans when I was an Archon,” Furina answers. “They became who they are as a consequence of their actions, but we’ve never met before.”
“Hm… Guess they kept a pretty low profile,” Bailu says, picking up a biscuit.
Furina takes a long sip of her tea. “From what I know… They were the first to experiment with dark magic.”
Dressed in a long, black, dark blue robe covering her from head to toe, Furina had recently recovered some of her magic, and because of that, she could sense when any magic was being used. Her foreboding gut feeling took her to a large cemetery in the middle of the night. She stood in front of a large, wrought iron gate. As she stepped forward, the gates eerily opened as if expecting her. The cemetery was quiet except for the soft steps of her shoes against the pavement. Flowers, most of them fresh, were neatly placed on some of the graves. As she got further in, she began hearing voices.
“Goddamit, Lan, you aren’t doing it right.”
“I’d love to see you try, Nanook.”
Furina looked around but there was no one in sight. So, she continued walking in the direction the voices were coming from.
“Perhaps… we need more than just her skull.”
“Great. And where’re we going to find that?”
Two men stood on either side of a grave on a small hill underneath a dead tree. One had longer hair and held an open book while the other held a candle and a small, round gold mirror.
Suddenly, the one holding a mirror said:
“Who’s there?”
The other turned around and narrowed his eyes. Then, he turned back. “Did you see someone, Nanook?”
“I saw something,” Nanook muttered. “Wait…! It might be—”
“Don’t be ridiculous. That’s not how this works.”
“How would you know? We’re following instructions from some unknown book where it might be all fake for all we know.”
“Magic exists,” Lan said sternly. “You saw it. I saw it. If normal magic can exist… Why not push it to its boundaries?”
“It was obvious that they were trying to bring someone back from the dead,” Furina says.
Bailu pours herself more tea. “Who?”
“A woman named Idrila.”
Dan Feng immediately looks at her. “Idrila….?”
“Do you know her?” Neuvilette asks.
“She was a princess who lived a short life,” Furina answers, to everyone’s surprise.
“Her parents were at odds with mine,” Dan Feng says. “Her military was the one who invaded us.”
“Invade?” Bailu asks, eyes wide. “So… Was she still around when it happened?”
“No, but it added to the tension. There were rumours that someone from our side poisoned her." He looks at Furina. “You sure are knowledgeable about a lot of people’s lives.”
She chuckles. “Are you suspicious of me?”
“You knew about us,” Dan Feng says. “My brother and I. Yet, we’ve never met you.”
Furina glances at you. “I guess you knew about that because of her.”
“Dan Heng showed me your book,” you say. “The Book of Curses.”
“Clearly, Lan and Nanook weren’t the only ones dabbling in black magic,” Signora says. “I may have thought you were crazy before, but now I have to ask. What made you write something like that?”
Furina finishes her tea and puts down her cup. Her eyes land on Dan Feng. “I knew about the plan you and the Stellaron Hunters came up with to erase magic.”
“How did you know?” Dan Feng asks sternly. “That information was confidential.”
“The Stellaron Hunters suffered a similar problem to how the Archon War started. There will always be a majority, but there will always be someone with different opinions.”
The moon was full; the night was calm. Furina, holding a small oil lamp, stood at the shore of a large river that stretched into the abyss under the night sky.
“You’re early.” Furina spun around, startled that she didn’t hear the tall man approaching behind her. “Don’t be alarmed,” he continued. “I only just got here.”
Furina put the oil lamp on a large log. “Shall we get straight to business then? What does a Stellaron Hunter want with a human?”
“A human?” His red eyes shone in the night. “You are far from human. I saw it myself. You were using advanced magic. Magic that has surpassed human knowledge. You're not a human. Not completely. Am I right?”
“Asking questions when you know the answer…” Furina crossed her arms. “Is this the nature of the Hunters?”
He looked at the lake. “Soon, we’ll be living in a world devoid of magic.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Dan Feng… the sole survivor of the massacre that left his nation in shambles. He wants to rid the world of magic, and most of us are in agreement.”
“I take it you aren’t, considering you’re here.”
The fire in the oil lamp flickered.
“I’m not a stranger to his family,” the man said. “So, we’re acquainted. But I know he is not doing this for the good of the future. He’s doing it to restrain himself. He wants to use black magic to revive his dead family and rebuild the life he once had. He cannot accept what has happened, but he knows bringing the dead to life...”
“Has serious consequences,” Furina finished. “The chances of something going wrong is through the roof.” She sighed. “So, he’s running away from his desires? Is that what you’re saying?”
The man scoffed. “He wants to wipe the world of magic but keep our memories of it alive. It doesn’t make sense if we cannot continue using it. It’s simply being sentimental.”
“Someone sure has some strong feelings.”
“But the majority of us agreed upon this decision,” the man said without a change in his stoic tone. “Dan Feng says he won’t wipe our memories, but who’s to say he won’t.”
The flame flickered again. “Are you looking for a protection spell?”
“I wouldn’t want to fight magic with magic. We all know where that led us.”
“The Book of Curses is more than just a book about magic,” Furina says. “It’s also about our history… of how things came to be.”
The conversation between you and Dan Heng comes flooding back.
“So…” Neuvilette begins. “It was this man who asked you to document everything… Who was he?”
“Blade.”
Everyone turns to Dan Feng who has a stern look.
“What gave it away?” Furina asks amusingly.
“Right.” Bailu sighs. “So, where does this leave us now? We know about the Archon War, Lan and Nanook’s strange past to Idrila who was at odds with Dan Feng's family, and Furina’s book. The big question remains… What are we going to do about our black magic mischiefs?”
“Finding out more about Idrila would be a good place to start,” Zhongli says. “We know she was a princess… but what about her connections? Why would Lan and Nanook want to bring her back?” He looks at Dan Feng. “Have you met her before?”
“No. My brother and I were too young at the time to attend any political meetings. I’ve only heard about her and her sickness.”
“Sickness?” you ask.
Dan Feng and Dan Heng were walking towards the banquet hall for dinner when three maids turned the corner talking amongst themselves.
“Oh, yes, I heard… They were afraid her sickness would be contagious.”
“That would be frightening. I heard it was making her as pale as a ghost!”
“Perhaps that’s why there’s so much buzz about advances in medicinal magic… Still, is this really a good idea? What if we’re playing with fate here? “Upon seeing the brothers, she stopped and bowed. “Good evening, Young Masters!”
“What were you talking about?” Dan Heng asked.
“What is this about a sickness?” Dan Feng added.
The maids glanced at each other, and one of them said:
“The princess of—”
“It’s nothing, really,” one of the other maids interrupted. The brothers glanced at each other. "Dinner should be served shortly. You should hurry. Your parents are waiting.
“What do you think, Bailu?” Neuvilette asks. “You were a renowned doctor. Have you heard of anything like this?”
“Well… There are tons of illnesses that can make someone pale. But it sounds like it’s either just the beginning or a side effect of something.” Bailu looks deep in thought. “I told you before that we were experimenting with immortality. Before that, we were researching immunity. What if we could make people immune to literally every single illness? Or, at least to just develop mild symptoms.
“We’d make millions selling this magic medicine. But, it was way too good to be true. In other words, there could never be a ‘one-size-fits-all’ to medicine since infection takes different forms. But now that you mention it… Ah!”
“What is it?” Dan Feng asks.
“A colleague of mine was researching a strange illness that"—Bailu looks disturbed—"drains people's blood."
“Drains…” Neuvilette begins.
“...Their blood?” Signora finishes. "Do I want to know how that works?”
“It’s like…” Bailu hums quietly as she wonders how to explain it in simple terms. “...Like Death is living inside of you. Your blood slowly stops running to different parts of your body and then once it stops at the heart… you just… die.”
“Well, now that that nightmare is ingrained in everyone’s minds, is this an illness that’s inherited? Can someone get infected? If not…” Signora looks at Dan Feng. “Why would there be rumours of someone poisoning her?”
“If I remember correctly,” Dan Feng says. “She died earlier than she should’ve.”
“Does this illness still exist?” you ask. “If we could find records of it or anything about it, might give us a better understanding of this woman… and possibly her connection to Lan and Nanook.”
“Now that you mention it…” Bailu says. “The hospital I used to work at is still around.” She smiles. “Maybe it’s the perfect time for me to say hi.”
“I’d be concerned if someone remembers you,” Neuvilette deadpans.
Signora sighs. “I guess this is all we can do right now.”
“Hey.” Noticing Dan Feng is looking at her, Furina turns to him. “You met Dan Heng and his mother. Then, have you met the others? Tsaritsa… Pierro… Childe?”
“Not personally… I know of them but Dan Heng and his mother never talked about them.”
“Did you ever tell Dan Heng about his past self?” you ask. “You gave him that book, after all.”
“I wanted him to find out for himself,” Furina answers. “But, I don’t think he did. Perhaps he treated everything like it was fiction.”
“Why?” Dan Feng asks sternly. “Why would you want to make him remember what happened?"
Bailu looks at him worriedly. “Brother Moon…”
“I—”
A loud ring interrupts Furina. She stands, walks over to the counter, and looks at the caller on the screen.
“...I’m sorry,” she says to the group. “This conversation will have to wait.”
And you think it’s for the best.
After saying your goodbyes, you and everyone else are at the apartment’s front entrance when Signora asks:
“Keeping Idrila a secret from Tsaritsa… What do you all think?”
Neuvilette nods. “Not until we have more information.”
Bailu’s hand is in a small fist, and she pats her chest. “You can count on me! I’ll get something for sure.”
“Is the hospital where you’ve been disappearing when you visit every dragon year?” Zhongli asks.
“Oh, well, you see…”
You and Dan Feng are standing a little behind the group, and as Bailu talks about her hustle, you glance at him.
“Hey…” Dan Feng looks at you. “You okay?”
“Yeah…” He sighs.
“I had the same question,” you say quietly. “Why did she want to make Dan Heng remember? And… I remember what you said before about people being doppelgangers upon their reincarnation.”
“In short, it has to do with how they accepted their death at the time they died. If they can’t accept it, they can be reincarnated with the same face and name, which signifies a continuation of their life. If they accept it, they can be reincarnated as a new person, which means a new start.”
“I don’t know how Dan Heng died back then… but”—you sigh—”it sounds like he has unfinished business or something.”
“My impression was that she murdered him…” Dan Feng says quietly. “But”—he puts a hand to his head—”I suppose I can’t say that with confidence considering he was already dead by the time I found them. But, she was the only one with him. It wouldn’t make sense for my brother to kill himself. Or, someone else killed him and spared her." He sighs. "But that doesn't make sense either."
“With the way she died, it sounds feasible to say that she was poisoned.” You quickly look at him. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t make all these assumptions when there’s nothing to go on.”
“No… It’s something I never considered before because”—he closes his eyes for a brief moment—”I wanted to blame someone. All I have are pieces of what happened, and if I convinced myself that she murdered my brother, I'd have closure."
“Then… Let’s gather the missing pieces and start putting them together.”
“Hey!” You and Dan Feng look ahead and see your friends in front of a cab. “Are you two lovebirds done chit-chatting over there?”
You sigh with a little smile. “It's not like we have a choice now."
Dan Feng smiles at you. “You’re right.”
As you and Dan Feng head to the cab, your phone buzzes with a message. Without stopping, you take it out of your pocket and…
Dan Feng, a short distance away, turns back. “What is it?” When he doesn’t get a reply, he walks over and sees the chilling message on your screen from an unknown number.
Found you

Rising Star
Main Page
Thank you again for all of those still with me, I hope you’re enjoying the story thus far. If you’re wanting to make suggestions for future parts of the story, please feel free to leave comments. I’d love to hear more about your thoughts! Last time, we were finding out how the information is given to Star, and the results show up that:
1 The mayor himself is more than happy to talk.
Sorry, this one got a bit long on me.
Having filled up, Star left Luna’s enchanting music behind to knock on the door to the Town Hall. The squat stone and wood building being only slightly better kept than the rest of the town. Instead of finding some bored bureaucratic servant barely awake at their post, she was greeted by the mayor himself.
“WELCOME! Welcome!” the portly man proclaimed as he opened the door and ushered her into the hall. “I’m Mayor Gregor, and welcome to Tricreek! I see your bard friend has drawn quite the crowd. Quite the crowd indeed. How wonderful!”
With a hearty laugh, he stroked the bushy white mustache that consumed the entire area of his face above his lips and going well into his rosy cheeks. “Now you must be curious about all the going ons about the town, I dare say.”
“Actually mayor, I was wondering if there were any messages from Castledale? Star Crescent would be the name they’d be under,” the poor mage student cut in gently, trying to be about her business.
“Oh of course, of course, pardon the mess, I gave the scribes a chance to go enjoy the bard, young people you know?” he chuckled as he meandered over to the shelves, and began going through one marked ‘Castledale’ above it. Pulling out a set of reading glasses he settled them on his nose and began going through the sheaf of papers. “Let’s see… No, no, notice of the college of magic being closed to new admissions temporarily due to the magic disruption, no, no, ah, here we are. A letter from the dean to you.”
Holding out the folded letter, she recognized the wax seal and took it. It was from the college, and probably important, however she felt like indulging the mayor. “Now that the official business is finished, I noticed that you have a druidic presence in town, were they a part of the founding?”
It felt odd, pushing off her duties and self-imposed quest to restore magic to learn more about a town that was so close to her goal, but she knew that her thirst for knowledge would not let her leave such a font of lore and wisdom untapped. Perhaps, there was something in the history that could guide her further in unlocking magic once again.
“Oh right you are! Sharp eyes on you, but that’s to be expected from a student of your caliber to be attending the university there with the dean’s attention on you,” the mayor praised her as he stood in front of the window, watching the bustling town center. “Oh it was many generations ago that the druids helped some farmers form the little village. Back then there was only a farmer’s market and town hall if you can believe it. We thrived due to trade, and the mill a ways up the road. That I suppose you might have visited, since you came in on their cart.”
Seeing her expression, he let out a laugh. “Oh don’t worry so much youngin’. It’s the way of the small town to know everything going on within minutes of it happening. Why I remember back in my day we knew that the old mayor was having a row with his wife before even he did! Real scrapper that woman, and their fights were the stuff of tales. Never could look at a cast iron pan the same again after their last one.”
“Was there a reason for their fights or…” she probed, curious about the nature of the fights..
The mayor let out a chuckle as he shook his head. “Oh, the usual, he was sleeping with her lover behind her back, and they hadn’t worked out the laws on multiple partners back then. There’s parts of the story that followed the fights I dare say would be topics of some books you’ve never read in the library.”
Not that she was going to correct him, but there was most certainly a very robust section of the library that she may or may not have had a browsing through between semesters.
“So, the druids?”
“Ah yes! The druids, wonderful folk. If you’re going to Castledale from here, you will pass one of their groves,” the mayor explained before tapping his chin in thought. “Yes… hmm…”
Turning back to the shelves, he began going through a drawer on the side, pulling out packages and looking them over before setting them back inside. “Perhaps you might do me a favor, young lady. It will only be an hour out of your way, and if you leave first thing in the morning, you’d be able to stay the night in the grove.”
Pulling out a rolled up piece of parchment, he peered through one end, reading the words before putting it back. “Forgive me, it has been a while, but we have some things to send to them, and have not had a chance to do so with the recent weather and loss of magic.”
“You said that it would be on our way?” she prompted watching him pull out a small tube and read the label on the side before putting it carefully back into the drawer.
“Yes, yes, quite right, a lovely grove, I took a trip there once myself, met my husband there if you would believe it. Ah!” he cheered, pulling out a scroll case with Celestial Grove on a tag on one end. “Here we are. My father-in-law is the head of the druidic order. Could you please take this to him. I’ll arrange for you and your bard friend to have a room at the inn tonight, and the finest meal on me.”
“Thank you sir, I’m honored to help you,” she offered, taking the scroll case from him. “Might you give us directions?”
“Certainly, certainly. It’s just up the main road out of town towards Castledale,” he began pointing in the direction they were heading. “There will be two trails to the right, and then one to the left marked with a flat stone shaped like a tree. Take that path and stay on it. The druids will find you long before you get to the grove and guide you the rest of the way.”
“Understood, thank you for the room and meal.”
“Of course! You are doing this town a great service,” he offered with a laugh before going into another story about the old days, never finishing his first one about the druids.

it’s been ages since i last posted something on here, so i’m back with a tiny little itachi fic i wrote long ago, hope u like it!
calling itachi ‘princess’ in bed drabble under the cut <33 tw: unprotected sex, riding, oral, angst?, i don’t remember what i wrote exactly sorry but that’s pretty much it :)
(not proofread)
—,,
IMPORTANT!… please, feel free to ignore if any of these topics trigger you; read at your own risk!
Tumblr media
“What did you just call me?” Itachi opened his eyes carefully. You continued fucking yourself on his cock, your hands gripping the little hairs on his nape.
The delicious friction he was causing in your insides was distracting enough for you to ignore his protests, which wasn’t very funny for your boyfriend who was now furrowing his eyebrows.
“Mhm!” You whimpered the third time his bulbous tip hit the magic button that made you see stars within seconds. God, you couldn’t love his fat dick more. “So. Fucking. Good.”
A pair of beautiful hands squeezed the flesh of your playful hips, dictating a more relaxed pace. You knew him too well, you knew he was close to his release.
—“Is my princess almost there, hm?” You brought up again that one pet name that seemed to trouble him a lot.
He stopped reciprocating your thrusts. You faced him and found a very disturbed Itachi. “Don’t call me that.” Your boyfriend stated seriously.
“Don’t call you what?” You played dumb while grinding against his hardness even though he stayed still like a statue. Your own hands cupped his pretty upset face and kissed his eyelids with tenderness as to try to erase the last sentence of his mind. Teasing him more and more by each passing second. “I’m just enjoying our love session.”
“I am too.” He responded, confused. Was he imagining things now? Could it be possible?
You smiled at him, pecked him and rode him some more. You supported yourself on his thighs to give him a better view of your jumping breasts and wet pussy. Your face contracted in pleasure at the new angle, his cock stimulating uncharted places inside you that made your walls twitch.
Lowering your gaze to where your bodies were connected, you admired the way his whole shaft disappeared in you, half of it reappeared covered in both your juices before it slammed back into your tightness to repeat the process. Again. And again. And once more.
You reached out for his thumb to place it above your aching clit, silently asking for some relief there. Itachi, as always, understood and didn’t take long to fulfill your wishes. He started drawing long circles with his pad, making tiny zigzags forms and not pressing too much on your sensitive bud; just how you taught him to do it. Your boyfriend was a fast learner indeed.
“Such beautiful fingers.” You praised. Not averting your eyes from his painted nails, so meticulously painted it looked perfect. You surrounded his neck with your arms, accommodating your body closer to his. He was still playing with your clit. “My pretty princess.” You tried to kiss him on the lips, but he dodged you successfully by offering his cheek instead. “Hey! What are you doing?”
“Quit it.” He complained. “I don’t like that.”
“Why not?”
“Because I don’t like it.”
“I do, though.” You whispered. “You’re my princess.”
“Stop.” He pleaded when you resumed your movements, grabbing each side of your hips.
“No!” You nearly screamed the moment you felt him slipping out of you. “Don’t you want to fuck me anymore?” You sat on him again, almost too harsh.
“It’s softening, Y/N.” Itachi noticed your watering eyes, he couldn’t help feeling guilty now. But, what was that all about, anyway? “Of course I desire you, my love. More than anything.“ He clarified first. “It’s that stupid name.”
“Princess?”
“Yes.” Your boyfriend closed his eyes forcefully. “None of that, okay?”
You pouted. “No.” Before he could protest, you sealed your last word with a long, passionate kiss. You shoved your tongue into his cavern, dancing with his once you found it.
You pulled his cock out of you and started pumping it to make it hard again, caressing his reddened tip with your thumb at the end of each pump. With the help of your bare breasts pressing against his chest, you didn’t take long to have him all prepared for you.
—“Fuck me already, will ya’?” You suggested, looking at him through your eyelashes, and thus, making his member twitch in your hand because of how gorgeous you seemed like that.
He complied, of course. Picking you up by your asscheeks, Itachi laid your body on the bed delicately. He spread your legs wider for him to fit between your meaty thighs, you let scape a loud moan the moment you felt his tongue licking your dripping hole; your fingers found their way to his beautiful, long hair.
You’d thought he was going to fill you up with his cock once again, but you were certainly surprised to have him ravishing your insides with his wet muscle instead. Your legs rested on his wide back while he traced a tiny path from your hole to your throbbing clit as to suck at it hard.
Your boyfriend, knowing you’d come quickly with that simple movement, penetrated you with two of his slender fingers to start moving them rhythmically. Your hips were acting on his own when they suddenly shook at the added stimulation, at that, Itachi used his free hand to squeeze your side tenderly.
“Relax, my love.” He separated a little from your core, “So sweet for me.”
“I want to taste you too…” You cupped his reddened cheek, caressing with your thumb the tender skin there. “Can I, princess?”
He rested his forehead on your belly, “Yes.” He figured that the most reasonable response at this recently discovered tendency of yours was, actually, the lack of one. After all, this was the first time you called him that, and, hopefully, the last one as well. “I’d love that.”
Completely ignoring the mention of that pet name throughout the rest of the night, —which was harder than he expected, and showed to you.— Itachi decided to just enjoy his girlfriend’s mouth and pussy surrounding his throbbing member until he emptied himself on her beautiful face when the pleasure provided by her playful tongue was too much to handle.
In the end, both of you were exhausted as hell; you couldn’t recall when was the last time you felt this sore and tired after having sex with the dark-haired. Don’t get me wrong here, the two of you made love almost every week, and you’d felt like this more often than not, but those sessions were certainly shorter and less rough than tonight’s.
Nevertheless, your caring boyfriend managed to get up after a couple of minutes of panting heavily to hand you a glass of fresh water to hydrate yourself. He too drank from there once you were finished and didn’t want more.
“Cuddle with me.” You did grabby hands like a baby. You were still naked, your nipples all perky and cunt glistening with your release.
Itachi smiled at you tenderly. “Don’t you want to take a shower first?” He asked, approaching your open arms to lay on your body with caution; head resting between your bare, soft breasts; arms hugging your waist, and eyes closed with tiredness.
You shook your head no, “I really want to sleep, baby.”
“Yeah.” He murmured with a hoarse voice. “Me too.”
With that, neither of you didn’t take long to fall asleep in that comfy position. Itachi’s last thought was, —‘apparently, she got over that stupid name. It was just a phase.’— while nuzzling his face in between your breasts.
He wasn’t going to hear that ever again.
Or, at least, that was what he believed.
