#kingdom hearts 3 #kh3 #monstropolis #scenery #my gif #this factory is enormous and i'm impressed by how much of it we're able to explore since a lot of these locations aren't even in the movie #monsters in this world profit off of collecting childrens' fear; sadness; and misery and i think integrating-#those negative emotions into the recreation of vanitas was soooo clever #even if they did manage to get rid of him in such a comedic manner lol. makes sense sense that it took place on the laugh floor i suppose #but it's always good to see aspects of a disney world create an impact on the story and have its inclusion feel more meaningful #also it's nice to see the unversed again #on another note #sora donald and goofy's monster designs are fun and i'm glad we got to see them look so drastically different #i'd be so sad if instead they had sora stay as his human self and made him wander through a door into the monster world #without letting him be a Creature

#i'm sorry it's FINE it's fine it's allowed it's just that ive never kept kosher and i don't think i even knew anyone who did growing up #at least not sufficiently that i like. knew that they did?? so no one i knew well enough to eat a meal with.#we didn't use much pork or anything but we were certainly a bacon and shellfish-loving household and this was. extremely normal #like you didn't bring pork/shellfish foods to temple events but that was literally the only concession and u would joke about it w ppl.#again i don't actually know enough jewish history to know at what points in history secular city jews weren't keeping kosher #maybe this is exclusively modern. i mean no fucking way it is but yk. maybe.#but it also smacks of like. people are soooo glad they have this special Thing to use to Show Not Tell the jewishness #and it's fine! it's literally fine. but it's so funny to me having the special mark of my people in [~socially-just genre lit] books #be a sentence im never going to say in my whole life #box opener #sorry lmao. found something to post about it appears #bookbox

had to leave work early bc of severe cystitis pain >:(

#this is my first time having one and i never knew that it hurts soooo bad 😭#i'm glad i got to leave work early bc i hate working saturdays in general but i also feel guilty bc someone else had to come in & finish..#.. my shift until 8 pm 🙃#i really thought i could pull through but after 5 hours i just couldn't take the pain anymore even with painkillers #but now i'll get work time deficit again which is such bullshit #i really want to apply for another job bc there are so many things that bother me and are just plain unfair #and the long saturdays kill me i literally have no free time i'm always exhausted #but if i leave before my contract ends i'll have to pay back the scholarship i received..#a few days ago a colleague that worked there for almost 14 years also quit bc she couldn't take it anymore #she did so much and to now have her leave.. it's just getting worse and worse #☁️

Overwhelmed by nostalgia actually

#this will sound SO elitist of me #but #i miss my summer course at the boarding school that was closed after the summer and they carved out an artificial lake on the manor grounds #and converted the cozy two-person dorm rooms to have bunk beds to fit six to eight kids #apparently they also 'refurbished' a historic building on the site :(#i mean i'm glad someone is taking care of the site - it's so beautiful #but i miss the way it was soooo much and there's no way to go to that place again except in memories #and then !! sequel - cambridge 2019 #granted it would probably be much the same as a town if i went in summer again but it really was when i learned how much i love university #but yeah deeply sad and insane about [redacted] manor i miss it sooooo much #one of my teachers actually really liked me and wanted to seriously talk about me studying there full time oabdlskdödldöfo #obviously it was never going to happen because who pays english boarding fees when you can study 100% for free at home #but what if in an alternate universe i did study there #idk i don't feel that sad about THAT missed chance #mostly because i'm legit replicating it w my master's #but i do wonder if i'm going to spend the rest of my life chasing similar places and the way i felt that summer when i was 15 🥹#if you send me a dm and we're friends etc i will show you pictures of the manor because it looks amazing

being moved to a different classroom for my last week while the head of the program pretends she's doing me a favor but she's really doing my supervisor a favor 🙃

#she said she wanted me not to feel bad and be in a bad situation #but im p sure she did it bc my supervisor was up in the office talking shit ant me again this morning #she was acting all nice but 🤨#she's not nice soooo #also she didn't even follow up when i mentioned safety concerns for the kids when she asked why i was leaving #and she didn't ask me to stay #she did seem sympathetic but idk my co teacher thinks it was a favor to our supervisor to keep her happy #bc thry still think she walks on water #im so worried for the kids but it should be less stressful in t2 #also the teacher i swapped with today saw me two hours later and she was like: girl i get it 💀💀💀#lmao #so sad for the kids tho #but excited abt new opportunities #but i did want to have the time to say goodbye to the kids #its probably better to transition them this way bc they'll still see me a little bit the last week but not all day #and get used to me not always being there #so they won't care as much when i'm completely gone the week after 😭#but they were crying at thebgate between the playgrounds today and it was really hard #i was holding finn's hand over the gate 🥺#then we combined classes for the end of the day on the playground and that was like 10 minutes before i went home #so they got happy for a bit then broke down again when i said goodbye 😭#teddy was screaming at the door the whole time after i left 😭#i watched thru the classroom window while the other teachers were consoling them and it was so sad 💔#i've only had one cry when i went home before but this time it was half of them #bc they barely saw me all day then i left as soon as they thought i was going to stay #anyway #i have a job interview tomorrow and surgery #and maybe a second job interview #trying to focus on that rn #still glad i'm quitting but 💔

I took a couple of screenshots of moments in the 9.1 cinematic when Night Warrior Tyrande looked different to me. The animation is gorgeous and I love the fancy glowy markings she’s got, but there’s something about her expressions that made me feel like I could see the various sides of Tyrande in a a couple snapshots. There’s the Night Warrior on the surface level, all the anger and hate and pain and then I see the priestess, the mother, the caregiver, the healer, the leader - just everything else that she is under the anger. I liked that a lot. There seems to me to be so much devotion in her.

#one of my favourite things #also idk but this very short sequence made me laugh more than I had in *weeks*#like- why is this so funny to me #and sidenote but i'm soooo invested in this series and i truly did not think a kdrama abt baseball would grab me like this #because i'm not a sports person at all #but damn am i glad to have started it #because it's legitimately incredible #just masterfully written + acted + filmed #the characters' struggles are so *real* and the way events transpire is so realistic and you truly relate to a lot of it because of that #and the humour and interactions between characters is so natural #they all feel like very real people #i truly feel for all the characters- and i love that even the so-called antagonists are v human and not just ' bad ' - i feel for them too #hot stove league #stove league #kdrama
