23 is young and i don't wanna go acting like it isn't but sometimes i see stuff from baby zoomers and i feel fucking ancient. skibidi toilet? i have yet to understand what that's referencing. reality shifting? i was into new agey stuff as a teen and i get the whole law of attraction/manifestation thing, but the rest is all greek to me. a good half of the aesthetics i see talked about online? literally got overwhelmed when i stumbled on the aesthetics wiki last year and i feel like an idiot seeing all these kids list off like 4 different hyperspecific aesthetics to describe themselves 😭 girl what does any of that mean? patiently explain it like i'm 85 when it comes up, or don't expect me to know what the hell you're talking about. i'll just end up smiling and nodding like your out of touch grandpa who loves your energy but is frightened by cellphones and the concept of smartfridges 💀💀💀

#i genuinely am not dunking on any of this stuff (i have no idea what any of it is in detail lmao) and i think it's lame #as hell to dunk on young ppl stuff just bc it's enjoyed by young ppl. regardless i have no idea what's going on with the youth sometimes #and i don't think that's ever gonna change. i don't rlly care to devote a lot of time to stay Cool and Hip bc i'm NOT steve buscemi and i'm #okay with being viewed as uncool but it still surprises me the extent to which this is already happening to me and i'm not even 25 #back in MY day we had gangnam style & vine compliations & i was only mosscore with a hint of dark academia and that's how we LIKED it! /s #i honestly feel more in touch with millenials then i do anyone too young to remember the great recession or life before the omnipresence of #the internet. that's surely due in part to us being legal adults but also bc i think anyone who HASN'T experienced a childhood without #smartphone access or one free of years of economic struggle has a much different life experience than i do. i didn't get a phone til 12 and #i didn't get a smartphone til 14/15ish. i never complain abt gas prices like my parents do bc i grew up when it was $3-$5. i can't eat #canned peaches bc they remind me of '07-'11. this isnt to say i had it harder - i wasn't a kid during covid - but its slightly harder to #relate to #len speaks

Finished my Persona 5 Royal playthrough!! It was so fun! love when games bring me to tears (￣∇￣)

You can have the one Akira doodle I did. Prior to playing the game I had pretty much 0 persona knowledge besides casually watching the superbutterbuns “persona 5 for beginners” video and the “so this is basically” video but it all pretty much went over my head at the time. @phantompeaches (hi peach) told me that he’s called Akira in the manga and Ren in the anime. I went for the manga name cause.. idk it sounded cooler to me.

Well, what if we do that same idea, but the twist is that Bowser wants Luigi to become his vampire bride?

Super Show! actually had an episode where Bowser was a vampire #which led me to create this specific post #I do want to point out that the only major twist in this vampire idea is that Bowser wants Luigi to be his vampire bride instead of Peach #although I would maybe change the torture scene to where Mario isn't getting waterboarded #I don't know I'll leave that up to you guys #I'm just really interested in the idea of a Bowuigi Vampire AU #I don't know if this has been done before but I'm making my contribution to the idea anyway

#the thousand year door #ttyd #paper mario the thousand year door #paper mario ttyd #paper mario #paper mario gijinka #usually whenever i design gijinkas or humanizations i value “can i tell this is the character if i didnt know anything about the series #tec xx #x nauts #x naut #fandom tags over i put so much thought into this girl. very specifically designed to look like peach but also reuses x-naut gear #BUT ☝️ BUT ☝️ i had this REALLY cute idea. that viv would help tec design out its new body which is exactly why she has gloves #and thats when the entire fucking design changed from like. bulky & just peach but slightly different into its own thing #its why she is so much more humanoid than i usually design robots because i think tec would be at happiest being a regular girl.#obviously she still looks pretty similar to peach #that was kinda the entire point after all #even took the purple & gold trim off of sir grodus(subconsciously) & got a ponytail inspired by goombella #and thats because like. i think this is her just figuring out things in life. obviously the one it loves the most ofe the main inspo #tec is still an AI #and because of that its why she actually was designed to look a bit younger(like very slightly younger than peach)#usually when i design gijinkas i go “would i recognize this character if i weren't a fan of the series?”#but this is the one time i broke my own rule because frankly i think conveying the personality and story of a character is important #<also why the eyes aren't able to emote btw #but whatever it's like almost 5 am i need to sleep i can go on and on how much i just love tec in general.

Found a glitch while playing Princess Peach Showtime. The game registered that I did the spin but didn't play the animation, thus allowing me to keep the Theets for the second half of the performance minigame.

Btw it didn't reduce the number of Theets supposed to show up at the end (since you need to grab them for a sparkle), leading to twelve being there rather than eight.

Look at all those girlies

Will put in another post the video of the minigame's second half with the Theets following Peach; I didn't expect it to happen so pressed the capture button early to save the animation glitch.

I know I'd decided to only write one more bowuigi fic aside from the one I'd already written but I can't stop thinking about the idea of Bowser repeatedly kidnapping Peach for relationship advice and Peach getting so fed up with him about it that she tricks Luigi into being her body double so that Bowser kidnaps him instead and they can talk like Actual Adults instead of using her as a third party to vent to all the time

#i imagine Luigi also talks to Peach about the same relationship problems #because shes more in tune with romance stuff than his bro is #(whos still low-key trying to wrap his head around his brother dating Bowser of all people)#and theyre not listening to her very reasonable advice of 'just talk to each other about it it'll be fine'#so neither of them are doing anything about the misunderstandings and its driving her mad #anyway it would be funny for Bowser to have a whole conspiracy board #about how Luigi not sending his daily 'buongiorno!' text and shooting down 2 of Bowser's 3 date ideas in less than 5 seconds #means that hes fucked something up irreparably somehow and Luigi's mad at him what do you think Peach how do i fix this #meanwhile Luigi-dressed-as-Peach is standing there tied up like ah.#maybe we should talk about this properly.#(theyre both anxious messes about this fledgling relationship lmao)#meanwhile Peach tells Mario to hold off on the rescue for a day or two so Luigi and Bowser can sort things out #Mario has no problem with this because he too has also been subjected to the ever-shifting conspiracy board #and has no desire to hear about his bro's relationship from Bowser's perspective beyond a surface level ever again #(the conspiracy board goes beyond a surface level)#and Kamek knew from the second Bowser grabbed 'Peach' that it was actually Luigi #but he's also tired of Bowser asking him every 10 minutes if Luigi actually likes him or not instead of paying attention in meetings #so he just leaves and takes a nap instead of letting Bowser know about his mistake #because he sees what Peach is doing and yeah this is the only way this problem's gonna get solved #bowuigi #bowser #luigi #princess peach #yeah so i'm rubbish at writing established relationship stuff so if anyone wants this then please take it away from me thanks #mlv.txt

Berries are the best frickin thing in the world man

#i talk #got myself some blackberries raspberries and blueberries as a treat #even thought it cost me a frickin arm and a leg because Ya Boi Is Going Thru It #and I'm literally shoveling them into my mouth by the handful #I frickin love berries so much. unparalleled experience #I'm known as the blueberry lover in my family because I would literally eat BUCKETS #not even joking. BUCKETS #of blueberries in one sitting as a child #and then go to my Tio and ask if he had more #the only reason I can't eat as many as I want now is because A) expensive #and B) I got a lot of teeth issues so sometimes the acid makes my teeth ache #but usually that still doesn't stop me. I'll buy like 5 packages and eat them in one go #I'm a cheapskate and I try to save money wherever and whenever I can but I do like food so that's the biggest part of my budget #other than rent ofc #I go nuts during blueberry and peach season

Could I ask for tips on how to write kisses?

Writing The Perfect Kiss Scene

#1 Find the RIGHT moment

We all know what I mean! The "zing" when the character's faces are get close enough must come unexpected (but) when both of them are looking for romance/comfort.

For example:

Tripping over each other in the hallway

Person A covering their face with their hands and Person B prying them off, their eyes meeting...

Sitting next to each other in the library, elbows touching, and they happen to turn around to face each other...

Find a natural way to bring your characters the romantic atmosphere!

#2 Noticing the Other Person

It's natural to to see someone in a different way when there's romantic vibe pulsating in the air. Maybe your character notices that their crush has a speck of green in their eyes they didn't notice before.

#3 Build Ups

Describe how the characters feel moments before their lips touch. This includes things like racing hearts, sweaty palms, unsteady breathing. etc.

#4 Feeling all Self-Conscious

If you're writing a first-person POV or want to portray the nervous excitement of kissing a love interest for the first time, you can afford to have your character be distracted by how they feel inside, or worrying about how they smell/look, etc.

Maybe they feel like it's too early in the relationship to kiss

They're still thinking about that annoying math problem

Did I apply my new cherry-flavored chapstick? etc.

This should come in the same beat as the "notice the other person", heightening the romance tension between the characters.

Once they get closer and the kiss actually happens, these worries will melt away!

#4 Describing the Details

In most cases, it's best to keep things understated (especially in regards to tongues)

tongues cannot "tangle" or "battle" or "swish around"...please, no.

Focus on the lips and how the characters move (like hugging, pushing the other against a wall, breathing, etc.), adding the tongue as an afterthought.

Don't get too exicted about taste.

No, her tongue didn't taste like fresh roses and peaches, unless she was eating peach candy right before the kiss.

Focus on other sensations other than taste: especially touch, heat. the tickle of his breath on her cheekc, etc. Or even the smell of shampoo.

#5 The Pullaway + Reaction

Does the kiss end naturally, or does something else interrupt them?

How do the characters react: do they blush, say something, hug he other person, or run away with a deep blush? For couples, they can even tease the other.
