the baby has a number of characteristic phrases now but I think one of my favorites is "right now please"
my sister often asks him if he wants / needs such-and-such "right now? or in a little while?" or if he asks for something, sometimes she will say "not right now, we'll have / do that [after supper / in the morning / this weekend]"
so he learned to add "righ NOW" to requests, to clarify. which of course has kind of a nasty little veruca salt ring to it so my sister kept correcting him and saying "right now, PLEASE?" and the baby was like okay fine. right now "please"
he was running around the yard whacking dandelion clocks with a stick and then he couldn't find any more and he looked up and said "mo dadirion" and I said "I think you got them all! now we'll have to wait for more to grow" and he glared around the yard and said "mo dadirion righ now pees"
