This is your casual but very pointed reminder - with the potential of Twitter going down floating around in the air - that reposting people's artwork without their explicit permission is unacceptable.
Yes, even if the account with all their art has been deleted.
Yes, even if you really liked it.
Yes, even if you think they wouldn't care.
Yes, even if you 'just want to share.'
Artists are the ones that decide where their art ends up. If the artist wants to get a Tumblr and repost their artwork here, that's their choice. If they choose never to post those old works again, that's also their choice.
YOU SHOULD NOT MAKE THAT CHOICE FOR THEM.
People choose to delete their art, or choose where that art is or isn't posted, for all kinds of reasons. If you want to save artwork then save it for yourself, share it with friends in private chats. Do not repost it on Tumblr.
Do not repost people's artwork without explicit consent. Period.

Hey!! This is just a message to all of the people on your blog…..
LISTEN UP SHITHEADS. Cin is being nice enough to accept requests from you guys. She’s taking the time out of her day to draw stuff for you guys FOR FREE. She’s not getting any payback for her labor except for a few compliments and internet attention. No money. No treats. No nothing. The least you guys can do is respect her and read her boundaries. If you aren’t going to respect her then you don’t deserve to get free art in the first place. Spamming her with requests isn’t going to change her mind if you’re requesting something she already stated she wasn’t going to draw. All you’re getting yourself is a big wide opportunity for her to block you.
Respect my little sister. I don’t care if you hate on me for being a rude, harsh bastard. I will not tolerate anyone being an asshole to her.
thank u sm bro.. i really hate blocking people but i literally have no choice when ppl keep like !!! bothering me!!!!???
i dont want to have to stop taking requests altogether but it doesnt take that long to just click the 'keep reading' and skim the top few words!!!
thank you to everyone who does read it i appreciate u guys sm and im hugging u (if thats ok if not then im fist bumping u)

It's absolutely a me thing, probably, but people who say that they hate an author and have the time to reiterate it endlessly but continues to support their work- without ever crediting the good part of the writing that makes them a fan to begin with- irks me so goddamn much.
An author and their work is very intrinsically tied together. They write their beliefs of the world in the text, their sociopolitical stance practically bleeds out from the pages. Of course this isn't the case when you're making a comic or book/any form of media for the sake of it being disturbing, but the point is, I need people to understand that an artist's work is an extension of themselves and you need to respect that especially if it's a work that you love and connect with.

Something recently that both humbled and yet motivated me at the same time is the realization that many of these fanartists went to art school 🤣 it seems so silly, right? Like duh!
(and yeah ik there are self taught masterful artists, and they're great and respectable too, but I'm not talking about them. That's a different post for somebody else.)
This post is about those artists who are working professionals, had money and resources and years devoted to bettering their craft, likely in hopes of getting a job doing what they love in their respective fields. They're posting professional level work (for the FREE nonetheless!?!) for everyone to love and support.
Anyway, ofc I'm not as good as them in terms of expertise yet 😂 (I'm sure if they had to self-teach all of molecular bio it would be different than me going to school for it.) Like i really had to step back and readjust my perspective.
