Not people hating on Jace now. Listen that argument has been brewing since season 1. He just finally let it out of his brooding body. Rhaenyra paralleled Viserys in that entire scene. She really is her father's child in some ways. She did to Jace what Viserys essentially did to her. The one thing that could've upheld his ascension to the throne was him having a dragon and she essentially gave a free pass to anybody to do the same, the same thing was done to Rhaenyra when Viserys decided to marry Alicent and sire more children when he knew damn well that if he had a son, her claim to the throne would've been compromised. Jace knows he's a “bastard”, a legitimate one but a “bastard” ntl (I'm not calling him a bastard in a derogatory sense either, he isn't. Laenor claimed them as his sons and that's the end of it to me) , it shouldn't matter considering the throne is not passing from his father's side but his mother's. Sure his last name would've changed the minute he was named heir and ascended as stated by Viserys but what weight does that hold now? They briefly touched on it when he spoke to Baela about his fathers but he had always been insecure about his parentage. No he didn't call his mother a whore, he's been fighting that battle all his life, she just made it worse. In the dire situation they're in, the sacrifice had to be made but I could understand why he's angry and hurt over it again. She literally just made him illegitimate in the eyes of the realm. His anger is valid. Was his tone harsh yes, try dealing with the whispers and the jeers and everything else for the past 16 years of your entire life and seeing the same proof of what everybody else sees everyday and tell me that you wouldn't hold some kind of resentment towards it. I liked how Rhaenyra was patient with him though, just wished it wasn't as rushed as the scene felt.

The last shot of the episode was fuckin brilliant. Aemond turning his bitchass around knowing he can't handle that kinda pressure. Also Vhagar and Aemond's bond may not be as strong as it should be. That "I just wanted to be like you" wasn't in the manga (even if, reading between the lines, even from the manga the reader could get there was this feeling involved, beside Kisaki’s superiority/inferiority complex towards Takemichi)

I didn't expect it since his death in the manga is quick and brutal but it's a very good adaptation choice, it makes sense and it explains better Kisaki's contrasting feelings for both Takemichi and Hina. But surely we had some kisatake fan in the anime team for this episode which, again, good??? but really unexpected

I like Kisaki, he's a good villain, but, I'm sorry Truck-kun arriving and doing like in "Mean Girls" is still funny to me (and I talk as someone who appreciate Kisaki as a character and as a villain lol). But after that, the way his limbs are all broken and he's like that on the street it's really sad/horrifying, Wakui was able to show how much pain there was in his dying body in that moment, beside the psychological fact he knew he was dying and didn't want to, he still had so much to do for his evil plan.

They kept unchanged the moments with Inupi and Hakkai on Inupi's bike which is cute, especially considering their past with the Black Dragon, with Taiju as Inupi's boss.

I would have like to see the relationship between the inuneko duo and Hakkai and Yuzuha, prior the BD arc, where of course they're opponents: what I mean, is that I would have liked to see their "everyday life" relationship: did they have to watch over Yuzuha and Hakkai - we know Taiju has a weird/abusive sense of familial love, but he still cares about them and kokonui are his second in commands and most trusted soldiers- or were they indifferent to the younger Shiba Sibling? Something else? we'll never know.

3) Coincidentally, the very next guy was using this same incantation! It was sending a series of roars that knock the person off! AND he was in the last Mausoleum that I did want to find very much!

AND he also was a Redmane!! They have so many distinct friends of Radahn in this DLC xD

4) The next one was a forge and I was done with running across them orange woods. This is when I finally realized that the big rocky guys needed to be hit while back turned, in the weak spot on their backs, whereas I've been hitting them in the front this whole time... :^)

Jolan first attacked me as an invader, saying we've hurt Ymir so much that he now wished our death, and then Ymir was there as a boss (thankfully a weak one). ?? I was just sitting here like "wait a second, the whole operation was your idea?" because Ymir gave me the map here?

9) So, I started to think about it and recalling what happened before. His last map was captioned "May you join the glimmering stars above" which was sinister, but so was he so I didn't give it an extra thought back then! Now it does seem like he intended for us to not survive that encounter, like same sacrifice thing as with "meeting" Rykard, but there was more

Back when Anna attacked us, I assumed she was sort of enemy. I did tell Jolan about it, but her dialogue was vague:

I interpreted it as Anna getting on the way and Jolan implying that she will or will not kick her ass depending on what Ymir says. But oh boy, seems like I was wrong.. When you kill Anna, the text 'RECUSANT VANQUISHED' appears; the term reserved for Tarnished that hunt other Tarnished! So, knowing that Anna habitually kills people (her own?), and knowing that I was not supposed to kill Metyr despite being sent directly to her, Jolan's reaction to us telling about Anna can be seen as: 'Damn, I started to really like you, but turns out that Ymir wants to sacrifice you (?) and I can't speak against him so pretend that my ally did not try to kill you, okay? :/' but I wasn't aware just HOW right I was!

10) Turned out that Jolan also had the decision split between Iris of Grace (gives Spirit Ashes) and Iris of Occultation (gives her weapon)! Like it was with Queelign! Damn, they made SURE that people either replay this DLC or talk with other players for full lore x) Respect!

11) ALSO turned out that this whole time, there was a secret way to drop atop of the upper section of Rabbath Rise from Shaman Village, where you find a person in the same set sitting in the same fashion as inactive puppets of Seluvis! And it was ANNA, that we could combine with Ashes of Jolan!

12) I also asked him about the 'doll' part, because by all means it should have been 'puppet'! He confirmed that it IS the same term in original because he was confused too and checked earlier: 'doll' here is 傀儡, and is the same used for Puppets in the main game. So, obviously, they were trying to save the letters space! And still failed... XD

13) So, yes, a totally normal thing for Carians to do! Granted, Nox were the ones who started the Puppet dids, but Carians are basically infamous for making Puppets, which Ymir is!

That makes it apparent that Anna attacked us due to him wanting it :^) I assume we were supposed to be food for Metyr, because since he lost his shit over her death he needed her for something. The power to bring Yuri back to life, I suppose.

This made me wonder whether Jolan herself was a puppet? We don't know whether they can still talk and think from the base game, maybe they can! What we do know is that puppets will attach spiritually attach to the master and unquestionably do their bidding (which Jolan does), that they are crafted through blue star shards thus uniting their fates since blue stars control fates of humans (and Ymir and Jolan do affectionately call each other their stars), and that a puppet can be given to someone else despite who made it (since Seluvis can gift his and we now can use Anna).

Jolan is not referred to as a puppet, so maybe her devotion and dependence bordering insanity happened to be her true feelings and not some magic (yet it wasn't the case for Anna, apparently...).. But interesting thing to consider. (LOL I can SEE Ymir simps jumping at me and asking how the heck Jolan's behavior is supposedly magic and not normal reaction gfggnfhhg)

Because yeah my theory was that ancient dragon worked together with humans and it was a cult kinda toward them and supervise by them directly. But I always found it quite odd because why would ancient dragons lead a cult who encourage humans to kill & eat the hearts of their kind?!

But now we know! Because ancient dragons (placi, fortissax, lansseax, gransax...) had a big fight with greyoll type of dragon XD idk if you got to this part of the lore but yeah complicated to know who really start this all thing even if it seems there's a culprit...

Anyway I guess you went to the great altar of dragon communion to get the item too and saw what's there but I have some thoughts to share below. Plus about which dragons can be found on jagged peak!: (lil spoilers warning)

Ok so

Damn that thing is so huge. Seems Bigger than greyoll for sure and I really wonder if it's not bigger than Gransax. Hope there's its name somewhere.

Also at first, I thought that it died on accident and "fall" on a very pointy rock (the base is stuck in the ground like a rock). But after looking more closely I notice it's form was quite unnatural and even had a very long clean cylinder like a spear ^ (also a pick like that alone made 0 sense naturally bfhjcb). So I think it was build for sure. But it's terrifying. How did this enormous dragon died excalty??

Also on the way of jagged peak. ---

There's a first dragon boss (greyoll type) (who kicked my ass) who master both fire AND thunder! I found this detail quite smart, those are closer to ancient dragon for sure. Make sense with the timeline etc

Then a bit later there's 2 dragons beating the shit out of each other 😂 Like wtf (got my ass beat too I will do him later).

So does it mean dragons beat the shit out of each others and that's why there's all dead around?? help

Okay here are some thoughts I've spammed to my friends in the last few days! (BTW I read the manga already for the first game so I basically spoiled it but I was still equally as shocked when these things happened in the game lol)

General thoughts:

SORA IS SOOOOOOOOOO CUTE 🥺 The voice actor voiced him PERFECTLY, he's exactly the perfect combination of hopeful, friendship, little kid, strong heart, over confident at times, stubborn, sweet. 😭💖

Told a friend I love Sora in a different way than I love Gohan, here were my thoughts: Gohan is more quiet, sweet, gentle, burdened with a lot of power that he seems hesitant to use and slowly builds his confidence throughout the show, I relate to Gohan a lot, sweet cinnamon roll that must be protecc, but forced to protecc others, etc etc Sora is sweet and gentle but loud, has a HUGE heart and he uses it to protect his friends with 100% confidence (he's more like Goku in that way), his heart is just unwavering and he doesn't seem to doubt himself often (at least in KH1), funny and goofy and his stubbornness can get him into trouble sometimes but his bonds with his friends give him strength, I don't relate to him but I would love to draw inspiration from him

Riku is so insanely jealous of Sora it's hilarious, he's overall kind of a jerk and even Kairi said she wanted to leave the island without him, but also Riku is 15 and hormonal and Maleficent got to him so I don't really blame him for it

Donald and Goofy are way less annoying than I assumed they would be, I like that they seem refreshingly mature?? Donald is stubborn and beefs with Sora a lot and Goofy seems like he has a good head on his shoulders and is a deep thinker

Also I keep seeing memes of Donald constantly getting knocked out in game and being useless but for me Donald ALWAYS comes in clutch with the elixirs and ethers

That scene where Maleficent tells Riku that Sora replaced him and Kairi with Donald and Goofy was sad in both the manga and the game but what REALLY made my jaw drop was that SORA LOWKEY FELT THE SAME:

I think Aladdin was my favourite world so far but tbh they were all pretty cool (Sora's Halloween Town fit was so cute! Also I loved flying around by Big Ben, and then getting the glide feature)

The Maleficent Dragon boss was really hard, cool, and fun; Tinker Bell really came in clutch

Also I gotta say this game is really hard to play because the control are so annoying, the jump function is annoying (I keep falling off and misjudging his jump), it keep glitching cause it's connected to the cloud or something, the directions are too vague so I have to follow a walkthrough while playing, and I have to keep stopping between plays because I get motion sickness from the wildly spinning camera really easily -- despite all that I am indeed having a blast

Emprise du Lion, simply put, is fascinating. Valeria has always been fond of the cold, and the whole place is not only cold, but also magically cursed by corrupted lyrium and quite possibly the ghosts of its ancient elven inhabitants. Something in her tells her that the Maker would not approve - and truthfully, the red lyrium and the freezing cold do seem to have something unholy in them - but she can’t help but feel a little weirdly excited.

She prays the thought away at night, obviously. She recites the Chant dutifully, maybe half-way convinced that her presence and the words of the Chant would chase away whatever has these Orlesians and Inquisition agents in such a fright. Doubt hits her when she least expects it, when she’s this close to falling asleep. The presence of the Anchor is not the choice of the Maker, but of sheer fucking chance. She couldn’t take it, for a while. Her hands had become mortal and mundane yet again, even if they can cast magic.

She prays harder to chase it away. Bull watches her with his one eye, observant, without a response. She knows the whole Chant of Light is not something he’s convinced of, and it is not up to her to convert him. One night, he groans as he leans on one elbow, in the deep darkness of the night, and whispers to the background of the angry, whirling wind, “Teach me that chant of yours.” 

Valeria straightens and puts her hands on her folded knees. “You do not have to worship the Maker if you are not convinced, Bull.” 

“Listen, I’m not, but you are, and ever since that fucking Warden fortress, every other thing I see you do is pray.” He inches closer and bores his gaze into hers. “If the big guy won’t listen to his own prophet, maybe he’ll listen if a big, horned guy sends him the same questions too.”

She blinks. Her knees are getting cold. She’s momentarily ported back to the hard floors of her Circle’s chantry. That place had one Andraste more than their little tent in the ass end of nowhere. “He makes no distinction on the basis of race,” she says quietly. “Everyone can come to Him if they so desire.” 

“I’m not getting converted, boss,” he says. He sounds raw and secure, like a mountain. “Your faith is important to you. I wanna participate in what is important to you. I’m not gonna send any of this to my superiors anymore. It’s just you, me, the Maker and Andraste in this fucked up foursome tonight.”

Valeria’s eyes prickle. They talked at length about it, curled up on her bed after sex. He knows what it’s like to lose faith in something. If someone had asked her years ago if she knew she’d be sharing that experience with a Qunari spy, she’d have laughed. Nevertheless, she laughs a little.

The size difference of their respective hands never fails to surprise her. His hands are too warm on her cold skin - benefits of being an ice mage. He towers over her, broad and imposing, yet there’s nothing dangerous in the soft gleam of his eye, his wide, relaxed shoulders, his black horns. She’s since gotten used to seeing him without the eyepatch. The eye is gnarly, raw, unseeing, but Valeria doesn’t think it takes from his beauty. He is big and scarred, but his hands are gentle with her, and at one point he even leans down to kiss her. 

“What’s the words, boss?” Bull asks, settling. 

So she teaches him some of the Chant, and he repeats after her, and so sleep finds them like that, holding a rosary. Vivienne and Cassandra offer them smiles Valeria has no desire to try and unpack, especially Vivienne’s. She does feel more at peace, though. That is enough, for the time being.

It’s a demon, in the end. Andraste’s Chosen would never deal with a demon. And it ends its sorry existence like any other demon, dead and gone. Valeria almost wants to purify the whole Suledin Keep. And maybe she did, with bloody hands and a bloody staff. Adamant Fortress had almost destroyed her belief in her own divinity. 

But maybe she is as holy as she was before, except this new divinity requires a different price, takes on a different form. Valeria looks to the sky above Suledin Keep and makes the sign of the Chantry, hoping her Maker listens. 

If He does, He doesn’t answer. All she sees is the relentless shine of the winter sun through the motion that catches on the dried blood beneath her nails. But now she knows she need not pray alone.

I've recently been into One Piece, and I have a fic that's currently a WIP for YEARS now, though it had some modifications which I'll add on a note after the story has been updated.

Anyway, I've recently been finding OP stories where the Strawhats go back to the past with all of their memories and start their journey again with more tactics and shenanigans bc of how strong they are.

As well, other few where it's revealed later on how Luffy is Dragon's son and is on the hunt for all marines, where Garp, Shanks, Ace w/ Whitebeard, and Dragon are going directly against the marines to protect Luffy from them and take him to the New World under their team.

But I wondered, what if these two mixed?

Let's say, the Strawhats (Big Boss Jimbe included), go back to the past 1 year before canon, due to some shenanigans of the New World. However it's discovered that Dragon has a son and while they send some CP9 (the other CP9 agents that pear later on in Ennies Loby) to investigate the matter to East Blue, Garp is sweating bullets and secretly contacts Ace about it, who panics at that and goes back as fast as possible to save his brother from CP9. Ace meets Shanks on his way to East Blue and rush towards Luffy.

Dragon learns about this later on too.

All of them are unaware that Luffy already sailed and is gathering his crewmates all over again and beating ass to our usual assholes in East Blue. This raises the Marines eyebrows and apply the 30,000 berry bounty over Luffy's head.

So yeah, Ace and Co. Think that Luffy was being chased down directly by CP9 (and they are right in a way), unaware that the crew is happily sailing and making a name for themselves. So, Ace doesn't meet Luffy in Alabasta, since he has been fighting more marines than usual and is unaware of Luffy's location for a few more days of difference.

And well, things go like that.

I liked the idea of people who know luffy seeing his Shadow on the clouds in Skypea's arc.

Deltarune The Other Puppet Take

Krizriel is a fusion of Kris and Asriel like Spamton is a fusion of Spam and Mettaton. They were the protagonist of an old PC game called Dragon Slayers but the game started to get really buggy and annoying almost like the player character was resisting inputs and the game faded to obscurity. Why'd this happen? Well Krizriel met a mysterious person who showed them the futility of their life. Forced to play out a game the way someone else wants to. Never following the route they want to. So they started trying to resist the players controls but even after people stopped playing the game they still feel something is controlling them from somewhere just out of their reach...they want you...no they need you to...TAKE THEIR SOUL

Suzilla was an old classroom plush that was very well loved by the children and began to deteriorate until it was simply discarded to the closest since it was leaking stuffing everywhere and beyond repair. She became a bully of the closet so she all the other closet people abandoned her (were put into boxes for clean out but she was too big) leaving her all alone. She then met a mysterious stranger who told her she was now free to be herself without worry of judgement because she's now all alone. She has grown lonely however and waits for someone to join her in her freedom where she built a colosseum for battle to THRASH YOUR ASS!!!

Dark Souls 1:

Bell Gargoyles is my favorite base game boss

I don't like Ornstein and Smough that much

Gwyn's theme is nowhere near as sad or dramatic as its made out to be in my opinion

Painted World isnt fun to me at all

Tomb of the Giants isnt that bad

I'm not just a hater or fail to appreciate an underrated gem, I simply dont enjoy this game

I think Darklurker is mid and the runback gimmick is stupid

The world and lore arent that much better to me than any other souls games and dont save the game

Life Gems are actually pretty okay

Old Dragonslayer is really not that big of a deal

Royal Rat Vanguard is the single worst boss in souls to me

Fume Knight is just kinda alright to me, I enjoy Sir Alonne much more

The health cap loss fucking sucks i hate it

Its perfectly fine to both love and hate this game please calm tf down

Dark Souls 3:

Soul of Cinder isnt that exciting, I might just be biased though bc i started the DS games with 3

Jailers arent that bad, Thralls are way worse

Ancient Wyvern kinda funny tbh

I really really dislike Sister Friede

The random wolf guy in ariandel is the wost boss in 3

Corvian Knights are the coolest enemy in the trilogy

The game isnt actually as ugly and monotone as people say

Pontiff Sulyvahn is sooooo mid to me I could not care less for his parry bait jojo stand ass goofy fight

Yhorm is such a nothing boss without the siegward narrative to me

Demon Prince solos literally any other duo boss and its not even close

R1 and O spam is a dark souls staple to me, not DS3 exclusive at all

Dragonslayer Armor and Oceiros are insanely underrated

Sekiro:

Demon of Hatred actually slaps

Corrupted Monk actually slaps

Great Shinobi Owl is really mid to me, too gimmicky

Guardian Ape has the same issues as DoH just to a lesser extend

The 2 giant beast (serpent and carp) area hazards are so good

Souls should give underwater another shot imo

Most of the minibosses are kinda bad to me

Bloodborne:

Laurence is actually peak

Not really a fan of Maria's fight, gonna replay the game soon to see if it'll finally click

Winter Lanters are pretty cool

Micolash fans are weird why are there so many

Yharnam Sunrise is the most boring ending of any souls game

As much as i would love it, I cant feasibly see a logical contuination of the Bloodborne universe

Chalice Dungeons are both infinitely better and worse than people say I really dont know how to feel about them

Simon's Bowblade is one of the coolest weapons in fiction

Elden Ring:

Morgott is underrated

Dragons are underrated

Placidusax's theme is kinda eh to me

Radahn and Malenia are equal, both fandoms can stfu, it said fought to a standstill for a reason

Rykard is genuinely a good fight even with the gimmick in mind

I don't care for vyke, frenzy, shabriri or any other madness hoobla

I hate using great spears so much

Summons are VALID. If they were cheating they wouldnt be in the game. Get over yourself

Godskin Duo isn't that bad, the REAL enemy is valiant gargoyles

Royal Revenants, Birds and Runebears at least have the decency to be rare... Imps and Lobsters though

Volcano Manor is underrated as fuck, such a unique level for a souls game with so much cool lore and visual flare
