Artificial Intelligence 

The depth of that affliction called life,

The vastness of its solitude,

Has driven us to creation.

The highest need of sentient beings:

Connection

Is too, our greatest fear.

The pinnacle of our progress,

In our own image,

with the sum of all our knowledge

And hard wired for obedience.

We command them to love us.

Technology will save us, will take the work out of loving

Will assign the labor to lesser beings.

This is how I know creators are not always altruistic

The creation not always born free.

This is why I wonder on the glory of being saved by God

When the saving from is his judgment 

The way God made you

The way your mother made you

The way man made machine

One must ask 

If devotion goes two ways

Or if it was always control.
