The fact that the Boston transit system has been a garbage fire for so long that our mascot is a sad little man who is literally stranded on the train until the end of time due to a fare increase. Charlie's desiccated corpse has been riding this train since the 1940s and everyone just sort of rolls with it it this point

I will admit, it's a little embarrassing since you can easily see the patterns of what I've been listening to for the past year or two. I swear I listen to more than just videogame OSTs, these songs just jive well with the story and I often find lyrics distracting when brainstorming scenes. Regardless, the music I listen to is such an important part of my creative process and some of these songs really defined the scenes I now have locked in my head. So I figured it was only fair to give them the credit they're due.

I will continue to add to this playlist, and will note in comic updates when one of these songs is applicable!

#ed edd n eddy #right now its close to you by the cranberries #fuck that one goes hard #there was another one the other week #oh it isnt a romantic song but i was imagining a romantic animation/animatic to it #black market by weather report #in the animation in my head it starts out as normal shenanigans and keeps going until they take some shrooms (accidentally? idk)#and the song starts to shift a little to that one part and they start to get a little homiesexual #and THEN when the song gets to the best part (you know the one) the animation EXPLODES in to psychedelic colors and visuals #and its fuckin awesome #and the cool shit continues and some other stuff happens and its super awesome and trippy #then when the song cools down at the end it cuts to edd waking up in eddys bed like ''ah fuck'' but not in a bad way #hes like ''welp i guess this is the new normal thats pretty cool'' ''...'' ''didnt mean to do all that wow thats embarrassing''#and hes just slowly remembering everything and eventually he decides to just go back to sleep #and the song ends #would be quite cute #also i fucking love that song

i love the…. almost horror aspects of this album. all the references to ghosts and death…. and sonically, the unexpected shrieking in WAOLOM and the banging and screaming during “old habits die screaming” and even the way the tension subtly builds across the sixteen tracks and by the end you’re so stressed and shaken it’s like! losing your sense of self and feeling like you’ve become a monster is horror. and i’m sooooo glad she leaned into it

#the first time i listened to the album i was so SPOOKED by the end. and it was AWESOME #the first five songs i was like okay word heartbreak album! and then WAOLOM came on and i was like HOLY SHIT??????#and everything got INSANE from tbere #and just kept building and building!!!!!!!!#literally just like a horror movie. it was fucking fantastic #ttpd #random thoughts with grace
