hajime is a reserve course student

so people would generally ridicule him for being talentless

he was standing outside of hopes peak like he always do, some of the students began to say things about him

usually he would just ignore them until they really got on his nerves

but then someone stepped in front of him

they were also wearing a hopes peak uniform

“c’mon leave him alone, he did nothing to you,”

why would an ultimate stand up for him?

he’s talentless, far worse than them by comparison

“i’m sorry about my classmates,” they bow, “i’m s/o”

“oh umm- i’m hajime hinata. if you don’t mind me asking, why did you stick up for me?”

“i feel inclined to stick up for people facing unfairness,”

after this encounter, you and hajime began to hang out

well, more like you two would sit next to each other on the schools bench and make small talk

hajime first noticed how reluctant you were to open up

he wants to know more about you and your ultimate talent but you would always find a way to turn the conversation to him

yet hajime felt happy that someone with an ultimate actually wanted to hang out with him

after a while, you two grew closer and you started to tell him small things about yourself

and that’s when hajime noticed his feelings for you

there was no way that you would want to date someone like him

there was nothing he was good at

yet for some reason he convinced himself to confess to you

now you two started to date, and the first thing hajime noticed is how you would do your best to help him improve

whenever he complained about his lack of talent you would tell him talent isn’t the only thing in the world thats great

making memories with people he loves is more important

and not only that, he was free to do whatever he wanted, not just being tied to a talent

hajime appreciated you for how you were which made you gravitate towards him even more

overall you and hajime compliment each other very well. you both want to help the other improve, but you two also appreciate them for who they are

your reluctancy to open up didn’t matter for izuru

he could easily figure out everything about you just by looking at you

what made izuru pay attention to you in the first place was you avoided the ordinary

you did everything for the greater good, and for you own success

when you two did end up in a relationship there was nothing you could really do to help him improve

and every time you tried he would always remind you that his was great at basically everything

now you could try to help izuru improve his relationships with his classmates since he either chooses not to talk to them

or when they do try and speak he would immediately cut them off since he knew what they were gonna say

but if you really want him to he could try to be “nicer” to them

but it’s boring to him

now if you’re doing something you love, you probably shouldn’t ask for izuru’s opinion

he thinks it’s boring to lie and doesn’t understand how his brutal honesty could hurt your feelings

you tend to be sensitive to criticism, especially if it’s something you truly love

“well how do you want me to respond?” he would say in his monotonous voice

during times when you exhaust yourself and don’t take care of yourself izuru is the person you’d want to go to

he is the ultimate massage therapist after all

or if you don’t want a massage he would just stay with you

he’s not the best with affection but he does love you so he’ll do his best to comfort you

sometimes he would try to say things that are comforting but it could come off the wrong way

in all, izuru is known as the ultimate hope and you want the best for the world, you both fit each other pretty well

when you two started to date the first thing you do is help him improve

mostly it’s how he self depreciates himself

but he really loves watching you improve yourself

now what he dislikes is that you’re a perfectionist

and often get disappointed when things you do don’t come up to par with your expectations

nagito just tells you that everything you do is perfect

on another note, your dislike for people trying to change how you believe is something you never have to worry about that with nagito

he basically worships the ground you walk on, you’re the most hopeful person he’s ever met

overall, you’re the most amazing person that he’s ever met and he’s forever thankful that you chose to be with him
