#ari opinion hour#not bonff#tw#coe#coe day 4#idk what a school league table is we dont use that term in america but i can put it together just fucking fine#you are saying the poor schools. the schools with less funding. the schools with a higher proportion of marginalized kids.#the schools with a higher percentage of ESL students. the rural schools. the public schools.#(public as opposed to private‚ of course)#the schools with a higher proportion of special needs students.#and with all likelihood the schools for disabled children. and maybe the performing/fine arts schools too why not#i dont know the school systems in england and wales and scotland. i dont know what the situation is with school choice and funding#and approaches to the arts and disability rights and ESL#but this is how it always goes isnt it#performance tracking for schools is not and should never be to determine who's worth more. money or lives#its to make sure the teachers are doing their JOBS#i want to rip every throat out thats ever denied funding to a school. with my teeth. every time i have to hear about this
