anyway you ever think abt the domino twins and fucking weep.
#they cared so much abt each other...#and after the citadel fives only really had rex (and cody) to lean on#even though they held their faith in the jedi it must've hurt to hear kenobi's insistence to leave#more so in comparison to piell#w/o echo. fives can only talk to rex abt how the domino squad used to be#99 is gone. the dominoes are gone. the new people won't connect with their story#they try to keep the memories positive but it is also the conflict ingrained with them#something which the domino squad had tk push past to help one another#which let them become closer...#and. for fives. this conflict is the majority of all they have for droidbait. cutup. and hevy#and then just... they die throwing themself to rex bc he's the only one who's always been there#and he has some semblance of power to Do Something. to protect their vode#and then just... echo.#everything with echo. clinging to the hope he'd be rescued...#and. in my personal ver. asking rex where fives is#as if fives was still alive to rescue him... which they would. if they were#these two mourned each other at separate times and it makes me. big sad.#jestersvaguely#tcw posting
