Reasons that made me love tick tick boom
Because of Andrew Garfield's body dynamism;
Because of the extremely realistic and non-robotic dialogues;
Because of Lin Manuel Miranda, obviously being there;
Because of my foot tapping at 30/90 pace right at the beginning;
Because of the scene where he says that the packed auditorium is mostly friends and Michael reminds him that that's a good thing;
Because of his obvious positioning on the world;
Because of the dichotomy of him wanting NY more than anything and hating the United States;
Because I WANT TO BIG OR NOTHING was turned into I won't stop I'll try again and again and again;
Because of Jonathan and Susan, who didn't end up together, but that doesn't mean they weren't worth every second;
Because she wanted to go but wanted him to ask her to stay, and he wanted her to stay but wanted her to fulfill her dream too, and how could he ask her to give up on that?
Because in the end she gave him a composition notebook;
Because he always worried about turning 30 and wasting his time and despite everything, he died at 35;
Because he's been to 3 friends' funerals in the last year and the next one could be Michael's;
Because they're not afraid to show Jonathan and Michael's friendship;
Because Michael was HIV positive, and it was Jonathan who cried, and how did you deal with that? How do you deal with not being affected, not being the one suffering the most, or even someone who can do something? all you can do is run, and when you stop, you do what you do best, you sing, and you cry;
Because of Michael and Jonathan's hug scene, that really made me cry
