I have been filming YouTube videos most of the weekend. . I am trying to work out what content is best to focus on as my subscribers are slow to grow and eyes watching not encouraging. I enjoy what I do but would love to zero in on content that people want to watch. . Going to work harder to try snd create better content. . But took a break this afternoon as our family (minus daughter who is in Dunedin) went to visit our very close friends and their wonderful daughters. It’s been a while since we have seen them altogether as they are all grown up snd spread out snd COVID has made get together a tough. . It was so super good to see them all. . A bright light in an otherwise tough weekend. I always feel prettier when I take the time to wear makeup. . I know I should feel comfortable sans makeup and in my own skin but I truthfully just feel much more put together and confident when wearing makeup. . Makeup, allows my skin to appear smoother, it helps to minimise discolouration I have and I can enhance my features (including adding lashes!!!) Who do you text the most? . I would definitely have to say my family. . Now that my daughter is studying in another city she would be my number 1 then comes my son. . We also have a family group chat that we are always contributing to and having a lot of fun. . I love that even though some of my loved ones are far away I can keep in touch with a text, message or phone call. . I have been trying this reformulated primer from @tartecosmetics the Timeless Smoothing Primer. . I had used and loved this primer a longtime ago and hadn’t repurchased it since the reformulation. . I am still not sure how I feel@about this primer I am feeling that maybe it has a little more of a silicone feel to it - similar to the Benefit Porefessional and I am not sure if I am a fan. . I am glad I purchased the smaller jar to try it out. . I hope everyone is safe and well. As the world navigates through these uncharted waters I pray that everyone can stay safe and look out for one another. * In these modern times we are certainly not used to such widespread health concerns. May we support each other as the world that we are used to is changing on a daily basis. * My thoughts are with the families facing unemployment due to the rapidly changing landscape and also to the families that cannot go out and buy whatever they want to “stock up” as they may live on a week to week basis on minimal income. I hope that others are aware that not everyone can just go out and buy items for the sake of it and those empty shelves could have a devastating toll on families who live on a very limited budget. * Please look out for each other and think of the people that may not have the necessities. Check on your elderly neighbours or families with young ones that they have the basics to get by. * I have been shocked at people in our supermarkets just buying everything on the shelf because they can. When the poor elderly chap finally get his pension and heads out to get the basics and the shelves are bare is it fair that others may have months worth of stock just “because” and he goes without? * Please considerate, kind and thoughtful 💖💖 * I have some pre filmed YouTube videos that I am going to keep posting as I have been loving the distraction of YouTube videos and the entertaining content to stay positive and upbeat.
