Surprisingly I’ve gotten multiple asks about tattoo/piercing aus and I’m not mad 😳 I’ve drawn levy with eyebrow piercings before and after seeing @animateddragon’s hcs for what piercings the ft characters would have I unsurprisingly went absolutely rabid

A rly messy doodle that I really really liked so I colored it some :3 this also stems from this Levy that I drew a few weeks ago because this specific genre of nerd Levy was plaguing my brain

Ok but freeds demonic magic ass has canonically been inside Kardia Cathedra twice now (battle of fairy tail and alvatrez arc). You cannot tell me this man dose not crack up fucking demon jokes about it when the opportunity presents itself.

Also personally I hc him as having a religious upbringing and subsequently religious trauma cos of that whole cutting his hair as “pennence” for the battle of fairy tail sharade. Like ok religious guilt go get it I guess.

If it makes you feel any better, I use the question of "did this ft fan ever throw a hissy fit over one of kaz animateddragon's posts" as a litmus test for whether or not their takes are worth listening to. Like, I don't agree with all your takes, and I can see why many of them were controversial, but they were generally well thought-out and based in truth. I figure anyone who can't handle that, or goes so far as to take it personally, is the kind of person I would be better off avoiding.

First, I have to say, the phrase "kaz animateddragon" took me the fuck out, I just laughed so hard lmfao so thank you already (rip to the animateddragon url, I still think about him sometimes...)

And yeah no, like I always said, I never wanted or expected everyone to agree with me and my opinions about the series. And like I said, I actively enjoy discussing difference in opinion when it comes to media! If any of the people had wanted to have actual discussions about why they didn't agree with me, I genuinely would have liked that! The issue was they all just jumped to varying degrees of harassment because they took literally any difference in opinion as a personal attack lmfao

Sure they might have offended you with what they said, but they also did it in their own blog. You said, when we were criticising you for the 'Gratsu is gross' issue, that you owe no one any apologies because this is your blog. How about you take your own advice?

Unprovoked? They did it in their own blog, it was only because people replied to them that the argument escalated and you dragged yourself into it, pretending they were targeting anyone specifically and thus you were the hero coming to defend your friend's honour. Yes they did it in the main FT tag, but they do not have to tag anti for your comfort. How about you be logical and just block them? Please remember that this all started in animateddragon blog, and you escalated it by indirectly calling them out in your malicious posts about 'ugh, can you believe so and so said this lmao', pretending you weren't obviously talking about them. You were the provoker of an issue that could have been settled with a literal block button, but no, you decided they were wrong and unforgivable because your friend, who picked the fight and lost and is sad, needed justice over an argument they dove into on their own.

My friend was also writing about Lucy being a great character in their own blog without any provoking anyone. Literally anyone, since that was an entry content for an event. Art I did for @animateddragon ‘s new fic, a chance in hell! I’m absolutely thrilled to be their beta, we’ve got so many fun things planned for it, so I hope everyone is looking forward to future chapters!

This particular piece is for chapter 1, and I may or may not be making art for each chapter, we’ll see.

Okay so as a born and raised (ex) baptist, I know every baptist in existence loves to give the Catholics hell so now I’m suggesting baptist raised Gray (I know like ten Baptists who wear cross necklaces like him fjdjdks) just giving all the Catholics hell on purpose - animateddragon

To follow up those dragon bones, what do you think would be use of dragon remains? Could someone become a Fifth Gen. Slayer by eating old remains? Do you think that Dragon Slayer Lacrima can be made from their parts? Like if someone tracked down Acnologia's severed arm, that's got to net them at least one filled Lacrima given how powerful he was if it works. I think a novel about Sting and Rogue said that it came from dragons putting their magic inside it, but I think it's worth considering.

Well, I do think it can be used to make dragon slayer lacrima. Dragons putting their magic in the lacrima makes sense, but then again, why would they willingly do that? Why would there be a variety of them when y'know, a big part of history was destroying all dragons, and the apparent only effort against it was raising children? I do think it makes more sense for Dragon Slaying Lacrima to come after dragons started being endangered, and the magic was extracted via remains or residual magic instead. Of course, both ideas can coexist, so there's no this or that about it either way. Why not both?

As for Fifth Gen slayers by eating the remains... is that not how it works? Okay, give me a moment. I already am rather miffed but he entire concept of 100yq, so I'm confused. The wiki says they're eating either live dragons or dragon slayers... yeah, I'm not buying it. You get the power by the remains. I refuse to believe more dragons are or were alive enough to give us that many Fifth Gens. I also refuse to dig into the concept of 100yq any further. It infuriates me.

Other uses of dragon remains-- disclaimer this idea is from animateddragon's fic: Take Over mages should be able to retrieve the soul of it, so get yourselves a Take Over Dragon form, kiddos!

Other than that, I do think that if there's magic remaining from it (remember, magic sustains even after death, Ur proved it,) it can be used as a little magic source. It's nothing as potent as Etherion, but if there's a lot of remains in the same place, I find it hard to believe there isn't a magic discrepancy like the little film over Galuna Island that causes changes to the environment. Maybe it creates an eternal misty dungeon that people get lost in, and it's used as a prison? Like, mix this with the actual pit we get in the GMG arc, and that's a genuinely secure punishment for treasonous criminals! And stuff.

I also think, because of aforementioned residual magic, these can be made into Holder-type versions of Dragon Slayer magic. A gauntlet that punches with the same strength as Natsu's. Rings that allow you to cast enchants like Wendy. Or go beyond the traditional dragon slayer magics, what about a Poison Dragon choker that helps you purify the air of poisonous substances? Armour that allows you to completely tank lightning strikes and send it back out like a laser beam? There's more we can do, but that's all for now.
