Honestly, who else could have I put for this card? I wanted to only draw canon characters from the books, and even if she’s in some of those, we don’t have much of Anna Henrietta apart from the DLC ‘Blood and Wine’. Still, she’s a canon character and she fitted the role perfectly. I really wanted to bring up a lavish, very classy ambience that’s so much Toussaint.

we know eventually Jaskier leaves the Hansa and chooses to stay with Annarietta... if he does so for RADOVID instead, can you just imagine the juiciness of it...?

right. I would hold the Duchess responsible for the attack as well. once someone started to argue with me that the duchess cannot be responsible for the attack, that you don't succumb to terrorists. but anna henrietta is a ruler not an ordinary man. Geralt and Yennefer may not give a shit about Skelly, Redanian or any other case,and the most important thing in life is to protect Ciri. but they are not crowned rulers who have taken responsibility for the fate of an entire nation. it was not without reason that Yennefer refused to accept the permanent position of royal adviser in Aedirn for years. anna henrietta is above all a politician and ruler. the ruler must put the interest of the nation above his own interest. for anna henrietta, the good of the people should be the most important thing, not the murderer sister. she should at least negotiate with Dettlaff. if she'd let him meet syanna, the attack wouldn't have happened at all. she is not a good ruler and should be overthrown. In the books Anarietta was even bigger idiot and only still rule,because it's toussaint.

Geralt and Yennefer have a certain power and opportunity, albeit a minimal plan, not correlated with the position of the Nilfgaardian Empire or any other ruling structure. And Emhyr personally demanded their participation in the search, correctly considering their influence not only on Cirilla, but the ability of both for a given goal, clearly leading to its implementation. The salvation of one always carries consequences for others. Tragic events in the books immediately come to mind.

The ruler has a responsibility for the people and their well-being, no doubt! Annarietta is very fond of her people, so I don't think, she could be overthrown. There are no solid foundations. They are assigned to the Beast of Beauclair, who so successfully hides behind the venerable duchess in her desire to hide that human factor - her sister, guilty of atrocities on the streets of Beauclair, since it was she who prompted Dettlaff to carry out his warning. The duchess could be overthrown by force. If Syanna had not carried out her last task for Dettlaff, he would have killed Anna Henrietta. There would be a coup state. Syanna would be the next and only ruler of Toussaint. All responsibility would be on Dettlaff. Clever move. And terrible.

Yet without such ambiguous storylines, we would not have a field for discussion and reasoning. The creators approached the ending in 'Blood and Wine' with a special tactic to provoke a storm of passions, and they succeeded.

Help with a funny HANSA Yule fic?

I've just started to write a little HANSA Yule fic. It's supposed to be humorous. Each of the HANSA (Geralt, Jaskier, Milva, Regis, Cahir, Angoulême) plus Annarietta and Fringilla has to give a present to one other person in the group. They draw lots and nobody is to know who drew whose name. Additionally, they are not allowed to buy anything but have to make it themselves. Plus it must be something they have never made/done before and it should not take more than a few hours to make it. Jaskier can, for example, not write a poem or a song as a present. So far the rules.

Now, who should make a present for whom? And what should they make? Send me your funny ideas! Of course, you'll be credited for your input if your idea makes it into the story.

Can be both book or Netflix characters/plot line. The story takes place in the kitchen of Beauclair Palace in Toussaint (between chapters 3 and 4 of "Lady of the Lake"). If you have no idea where that is nor what the Hansa is but still have an idea/ideas for the characters that you do know, that is not a problem at all.

(According to book canon, the pairings are Geralt/Fringilla and Jaskier/Annarietta, but it will be a fic focusing on friendship, not on romantic/sexual relationships)

Anyway... there were two mods I was mainly testing.

The first was @witcherscreenshotsdump ‘s beautiful Valerious outfit for Syanna  to see how it looked on Lily. The outfit is gorgeous but sadly their skin tones are very different, however I reckon if I use the jacket version and don’t let her wear it in sunlight I can ignore that neck seam.

The second was the swap mod I made for @elizabethospeaks to put her girl Lizzy into fancy dresses when she’s being Annarietta. Apart from her hair being a cthonic entity again in my game, it works just fine. Most importantly, it works for Betho.
