This is all to say “transandrophobia” is my preferred term or tag to use but the fact that so many of the posts need like 3+ terms because so many of them have been criticized to hell and back is annoying as fuck

Honestly, the Community Notes on Twitter were such a good idea. Tumblr should really implement something similar considering the reading comprehension and doom scrolling issues on this site.

Oh, and btw, apparently, no, YouTube is not frying your CPU for having an adblocker installed. Basically every article reporting on it has updated showing that AdBlock and AdBlock Plus were the issues.

They pushed a bad update that caused excessive CPU usage. Other ad blockers like uBlock Origin were not affected. So, like, once again, a non-uBlock ad blocker was the source of the issue, not YouTube strengthening its anti-ad block measures. Who's surprised? Not me.

Close the website. Watch a movie/series. Read a book. Do your chores. Anything that doesn't involve social media.

• Most radfems only exist on tumblr, pinterest and instagram comment sections. Most women/girls aren't like that. Heck! Even on here, there are only some handful of big, loud blogs that keep screeching.

How to be less online? I hate the person I feel myself becoming when I stay too long on social media. Serious and earnest enquire because it’s been hard for me to quit.

I've said this before but Nathan Fielder had the right idea with the hot dog costume motivational gambit. Make some long-term volunteer commitments that you can't reneg on without looking and feeling like a complete asshole—you'll work alongside people in your community who share a common goal, which generally requires prioritizing conflict resolution over parasocial and interpersonal cat burning. Moreover, this will fulfill the two most neglected quotas of them all: low-stakes human interaction and doing something offline that—in some way—alleviates the suffering of other human beings. It might take a little time to set up, but once you commit to the bit, you'll find yourself logging on, scrolling down, saying “wow, I literally don't respect any of you”, and logging off.

It is so disheartening seeing young radqueers, because I know they were absolutely groomed into it, because I was in their shoes not too long ago.

I have only been a former radqueer for a month, and I still have parts who still hold radqueer beliefs (we are working towards helping them heal.)

Its even worse when they're syskids, because its even worse because that system probably groomed that syskid into it.
