it’s been almost a year since my last post and half an year since we moved into our new home, some things have changed since, my hobbies and self-cultivation also shifted.

📖finished the first year of my masters, and the second one is about to begin. also had the opportunity to pursue my gardening hobby since we moved into an almost rural area, still a beginner but growth is already seen.

there are still almost 3 months untill the end of year, and one of my goals is to get back on track on my daily list of self-cultivation.

🪴🍄🦉🕯️🫖🧦☕️ so, for those few that follow this blog, welcome to my new journey, of building and living a hermit life. you will find here mostly plants and books, and ocazional daily life in the country side.

I think we need to appreciate being alone more often. I went and explored little antique stores downtown, treasuring the little bits of history left behind by others, visited a new coffee shop, where the walls are decorated in vintage paintings, and investigated a local bookstore, where the shelves towered up to the ceiling and piles scattered the floor, where I felt more like I was at a friend's house than a shop. afterwards I bought a soda for a dollar and swung on a swing at an abandoned school park. despite being surrounded by people almost all day, I was by myself. it was me and my headphones versus the world. I haven't enjoyed myself like that in so long. so next time you're thinking of going out on the town and doing something new, but your friends aren't available, just go do it. you won't believe what kind of opportunity you're passing up.
