in theory, i adore reincarnation stories. there’s so much potential and heartbreak in them, and there’s always the promise that this life—this life will be better, we will get our happy ending. one day. i swear to you.

but ALSO, i have rarely seen a good iteration of a reincarnation story in practice. i am looking DIRECTLY at the book that had the reincarnated lovers be adopted cousins in their next life btw.

#WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT #memorie.txt #.bookthoughts #anyway i think the problem is that in a text format it’s RLLY hard to pull off ‘had a weird dream of a past life #and make it seem natural #versus a comic where you can visualize it much easier + it’s easier to have a flashback to show the past life #like truthfully i feel the only good reincarnation stories are from a comic format #maybe it’s jst that i haven’t read the right book but YA KNOW.#…… literally all of my chryzure stories have reincarnation involved as well #so here i am wanting to write a novel after expressing that written reincarnation stories aren’t all that good #i am the clown 🤡#i mean i did the same w time as a concept—bc writing about time makes my head twist into knots #and look at my luna rune series. fucking hell. i think i jst hate myself
