A Bit of Meta: Rogers the Musical (as it would appear in the world of RP)

So I think I have this MOSTLY figured out. The only thing I can’t really figure is how you would fit in the whole Winter Soldier / Civil War thing... But we’ll get there. So far I have... (Hidden under a cut because it’s looooooong)

ACT ONE

1. A Pre War Montage: Introduces Steve along with Bucky and Bex. Shows them growing up and ends right as Bucky departs for the war.

2. A Short Number where Steve and Bex are shown dancing around their feelings for one another.

3. Project Rebirth number which would introduce Peggy.

4. “Star Spangled Man” aka the USO Tour

5. Azzano and a catchy number introducing the Howling Commandos.

6. Reprise of Steve and Bex dancing around their feelings -- would end with Peggy and either Dugan or Jack literally pushing them together. And a kiss, of course.

7. Montage to sum up the rest of the War

8. The Valkyrie and Steve and Bex’s goodbyes. Instead of a date, Steve makes her promise to marry him when they get back home.

9. Bex Solo/Ballad that would show the passage of time and hint at the formation of SHIELD. (If you’ve seen If/Then it would kind of be similar to “Learn to Live Without” or “Always Starting Over”). This would end with the announcement the Valkyrie was found.

10. Steve wakes up. Times Square. Reunion with Bex. BIG EPIC LOVE SONG. (aka the song Reb and Junior like to torment her with).

END OF ACT ONE. On Steve and Bex kissing in Times Square, of course.

ACT TWO.

1. Fury Introduces the idea of the Avengers / recruits Steve

2. “Save the City” aka the Battle of New York

3. INSERT REST OF MCU HERE...like how do you summarize Winter Soldier, AoU, and Civil War...

4. Big epic preparing for Battle Number as they go to fight Thanos

5. Steve, post Infinity War, having a solo similar to Bex’s in the first act where he and the ones left talk about reclaiming those who fell.

6. Defeat of Thanos. 

7. Reunion #2. REPRISE OF BIG EPIC LOVE SONG. (Also this, like Antman being at the Battle of NY would be hysterical...in a tragic way, because I don’t think Bex was snapped. So her sitting in the audience like WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK).

8. Steve done. Ready to move on. Live his life with Bex. Passes the shield on to Sam. A new era begins.

9. Finale.

the only valid sif ships are thorsif, sif/ladies, and sif/clint therefore fandom sucks because they barely think to try and ship her anyway and I gave up trying to find fic forever ago. I should write more. maybe there's sif/valkyrie now? idk. there should be.

you know I put maybe but I think my controversial Thor opinions are def a lot. AoU and Infinity War are Good Actually to his character, Taika doesn't know what he's doing and is a disservice to Thor, and Jason Aaron is a bag of limp dicks. Also making thor a joke in endgame was shitty and giving someone a child is not a way to fix them.

So. I like Loki. I hate Loki FANDOM. I like complex willing to be a villian loki not 'im a sob story wah wah' loki. He has layers! And some of those layers are absolute assholery and deception. more The Avengers Loki, less nonsense.

so it's a half on overrated because he is, overall, overrated, but in my preferred interpretation of Loki (the Right One) he is dreadfully underappreciated.

Also when I say he should be part of a dynamic I mean it's a crime we've never gotten a full thor/loki/sif convo because THAT is the shit I am talking about friends. Those three together is perfection when done right. understanding the balance is important. Not to even get into my thoughts on sif+loki frenemyship.

You know I do like Bruce but I’ve never gone far into fanwork for him. I had a really great one in my first marvel rp group who was super fun.

I am calling myself out here and doing her dirty bc I retired this character last year and while she was my first dnd character ever and I love her I also got frustrated and bored of her. My friends miss her which is why she's overrated - I could not be happier with my new girl.

she has the potential to come back if my current character dies or i really miss her, but I don't intend on it lol. She has visions of the future so me and the dm can go 'well she had a vision and had to come tell you' at any point (or just 'she missed you' but that's less fun than Danger)

I am dying to play more in our campaign bc i want to play her more and flex her skills. She got cut out from her guild, is trying to find a way to get some stability and safety so she can get her lover (a noble girl) back. If she doesn't get shanked by someone (I made sure to invest in con lol) maybe she'll get to have a happy ending where she gets rich, marries her girl, and blackmails nobles on her off time.

Does his ADHD ever pose a threat to whatever mission he is in? Assuming it remained undiagnosed and therefore untreated!!

{out of breath} I know this is not Pietro's scheduled day, but I'm going to be going on hiatus next week as well as changing up my rp schedule, so rather than have this sit in my inbox for two weeks, I'll just answer it now. =)

I actually would think that his ADHD would be diagnosed and treated once he becomes an Avenger after he recovers from his wounds from AoU. He would have to get evaluated by a psychologist in order to be able to be in the field, so I think he would have to be diagnosed and treated for any outstanding physical or mental issues.

Unless... he refuses to be seen by a psychologist and/or is able to hide his symptoms well enough that he is not diagnosed. So in that kind of situation where he hides it or just outright refuses to be evaluated, he wouldn't be able to be an Avenger, at least not in a field work sense.

However, for the sake of argument and because it's an interesting question, let's say he did go undiagnosed for his ADHD but was still permitted to be involved in field missions. Yes, it would affect his performance and could place himself or others at significant risk. His impulsiveness could result in him not following orders or spontaneously deciding to do deviate from whatever plan Steve and/or Natasha had laid out. Because he's young and inexperienced, this deviation might not be the most well thought-out or practical thing to do, which could then end up getting him hurt or others as they try to help him or undo what he just did.

Conversely, aside from doing things he's not supposed to do, he might also not do things he is supposed to do. With his ADHD, he doesn't just experience moments of being frenetically unable to focus and bouncing from one idea to the next without finishing them, but he also can suddenly freeze or become indecisive, causing him to miss opportunities or timing on things he was supposed to be involved in. If he has ten ideas and can't decide on which one to go with, he might freeze up and not pick any of them in time for it to matter.

So it's not just about him going off on his own or deciding to take action when he's not authorized to do so, but it's also about him not being able to take action when he needs to. And some of that would be due to ADHD symptoms, but some might also just be his own mental trauma and how that plays into his real-time decision-making skills, especially at times when combat may be happening around him. I think for Pietro's sake and the sake of the Avengers team, he really does need to be treated for his symptoms, whether that occurs through therapy, medication, or a combination of both.

I adore Wanda’s aesthetic, especially in AoU, because it’s so close to my own. I wear more blues and purples than red, but I wear a lot of black, and I wear a lot of jewelry, especially rings. Jewelry for me was a means of personal expression since I was easily around five years old, and my overall aesthetic is usually pretty witchy. So I definitely vibe with Wanda’s aesthetic.

I love how emotional/empathetic she is. I know that’s caused her a lot of pain, but I admire it about her. It takes a lot of strength to feel that deeply on a daily basis, and I have always really loved that about Wanda’s personality.

I love how she loves so hard. Just... fiercely and 100% all-in. Even when she knows it’s going to hurt her. Even after she’s lost the people she loves. She just keeps loving. Hard. That’s beautiful. Unfortunately the world is not always kind to people who love hard, and Wanda’s had a really rough time, but even after all that’s happened to her and those she loves, she still loves... hard. I’m tearing up just explaining this, heh.

7. What is one overrated roleplay trend?

Honestly, one-liners for me. I just... I know they’re so popular and people love them but I just don’t... get them? Even back in the day rping with AIM, I used to put more description into my real-time messaging rps than one-line rping on this site does. I don’t understand the appeal at all.

8. Do your friends outside the internet know your roleplay?

No... they don’t. Most of my in-person friends are also co-workers, and in the academic science field, there aren’t many people who write for fun or who like to rp on sites like this. It’s seen as immature and ridiculous. I have to be pretty stiffly professional around my friends from work, unfortunately.

You can call me Queenie! I absolutely love being able to roleplay as mystical creatures, or weird creatures that I make up in my head. What’s more, I love roleplaying with other people who love the same things! So with that being said, I’m currently in search of Fantasy and Supernatural roleplays. (NOT the show. The GENRE).

A tad bit about me:

I’m a college student so I can be fairly busy at times. Time zone is MST but honestly my sleep schedule is insane so just message me at any time. If I am busy I’m always going to warn you beforehand, so don’t worry about that! I’m 20 years old, and I do like mature content in my roleplays, so I ask that you are 18+.

My Style:

I’m a semi-literate to advanced roleplayer, third person only. I love to be descriptive so it adds that little extra “umpf” to the world and the characters, it makes it feel a bit more real! Additionally, I’m also good at matching reply lengths, so if you want to go to infinity and beyond, have at it! I’ll do the same. Also, I have no issue with playing multiple characters or just minor side character interactions.

My characters/Preferences:

As I stated above, I love Fantasy and Supernatural themed roleplays. I have werewolves, avians, mermen, centaurs, aliens, demons, shifters, hybrids and more. With that being said, I don’t care what your characters are! I don’t even care if they’re a “real” mythical creature or one that you made yourself. That’s awesome!

As for preferences, I’m cool with MXM and MxF roleplays. All of my characters are basically male and dominant. I use art for face-claims, and I don’t really care what kind fo face claims you use, I’m not picky! Additionally, I’m good with smut, so no need to worry about that! Feel free to ask about my kinks and limits too.

Big no-no’s:

I can’t believe I actually have to say this, but please have good grammar! Additionally, the last time I found a partner on here they were EXTREMELY controlling of my characters. (Like, to the point where they attempted to change my character’s race to Korean.) So please don’t be a control freak! Also, please understand that I have a life!

Depressed (Open Starter)

Cecilia was a mess after Pietro’s death, she didn’t really do much, she didn’t really eat or sleep and when she did sleep, she was plagued with nightmares of his death and she was losing weight, making her look gaunt. Cecilia also just either stayed in bed or sat in the window, looking out of it.

Cici was wearing one of Pietro’s sweaters with a pair of pajamas shorts on underneath it. Her hair was a mess and was starting to grow back out from when she had chopped it off in her breakdown when she had came here after the battle. Shattering the bathroom mirror and using the shard to hack off her hair, cutting her hand in the process too which was bandaged up by someone. She hadn’t been paying attention her, she hadn’t been paying attention to anything lately, just existing for the most part.
