St Anthony’s Chapel ruins
There's not a lot known about this wee ruin, it dates at least to the 13th century though, it's a great wee place just to grab some photies on the way down Arthur's Seat, or up if you are coming from this side.
Bearing the name of the patron saint of lost things, it is quite apt that the precise origins of St Anthony’s Chapel have long been forgotten.
Given its commanding position and panoramic views of Port of Leith and the Firth of Forth, is has been put forward that St Anthony’s may have also been used as a beacon tower to guide ships so that they could acknowledge the saint.
Excavations around St Anthony’s Chapel down the centuries have revealed it was also a grave site, and human remains have been unearthed on numerous occasions.

One Day - A Netflix Series
on how to rekindle heartbreak, enhancing scars, and make a turn from bad to worse...in a good, good way.
They should be putting some heads up right before the very first scene BECAUSE THE LAST THING I WANTED WAS HAVING A MENTAL MELTDOWN. How come I didn’t see it coming?
To my surprise that I never saw the movie when they put Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess on display before and I would never forgive myself for that. Having them together in a different casts and longer version probably the best decision to make. Though I didn’t shed a tear like I was expected but this series (especially those particular scene) has left me a void like Emma did to Dexter. The feeling after the credit goes a long way still lingering back and forth to the night of that graduation day, the Arthur’s seat, weekend on the Greece, the payphone, confession in Paris, and finally back home in London.
The saying that goes, she fell first but he fell harder…
(little did he know that it was him that fell first. she keep grounded while him being out of her league. she never tried to change him yet she did. they fight and argue while being reasonable. mostly it always the head over the heart but when it don't, probably it already too late)
This is a story of ongoing journey and acceptance in its best suit.

Netflix literally made a show about an English literature major at the University of Edinburgh who loves Kundera and Dickens and Hardy. And wants to be an author but ends up teaching for a while and feeling aimless. And falls in love with a pretty English boy who looks like Michael Pitt on Arthur's Seat. Are you joking. Are you fucking joking.
