Main Title Theme - Westworld (Ramin Djawadi) - I have been listening to the Westworld soundtrack when I write as well as when I read lately.

2. About You Now (Sugababes) - Used that one to write 2 harringrove fics of late

3. COMA (Stella Sadie) - song about performative activism and racism by a young artist from AZ. She is amazing.

maybe I'm reading too much into it but when I tell ppl that aside from alt rock bands like hiperkarma and csaknekedkislány and carson coma, other hungarian artists I listen to and really love are also mulatós (party music) singers like nótár mary and some pop singers like radics gigi and they're like ohh but alt rock is the only good hungarian music genre, I wonder if they just have a simple preference for rock over pop and party music or if there's a bigger meaning behind them thinking the white dudes i listen to inherently make better music than the roma women I listen to

Each Head of Delegation must vote for their ten favorite songs. Scores will be assigned Eurovision-style to each song, with 12 points to the top favorite all the way to 1 point to the 10th favorite. Two alternates (11th and 12th place) must also be provided in case of any disqualifications. If you do not submit your votes on time, you WILL be disqualified, and all votes for your entry will be nullified!

Every Tumblr user (whether you’re a Head of Delegation or not) can vote once in the audience vote (also known as the televote)! You have 50 votes to spread around, but you can only vote for a song a maximum of 10 times. what ‘medium’ of art (poetry, music, fiction, paintings, statues etc.) is the most touching to you? why do you think that is? - oooh that's a tough pick between music and fiction, both have played such an integral part in my life. i think i'm gonna go with music, though, because i can connect with it in a way i can't really with anything else. which is probably cause it always had a huge role in my life. i can still remember some of the songs i loved as like 4-5 year old. also i went to a music-specialized elementary/middle school where we had music class almost every day, so in a way it's just a thing that's always been a constant through everything, which is something i really needed at the time for reasons that i won't go into lol

what kind of things do you like receiving as gifts? - that's a tough question, but really anything i know the person giving it has put thought or care into. which can range from anything homemade to a candy i really like to band merch lol. just things that remind me that the person giving them cares about me

we had a hoot going thru the spotify genres list because there are some truly ridiculous ones but it is like. actually so shitty that they have genres that r just like "music in a certain language" like we got slovak pop, or kyrgyz hip hop or just. afrikaans. no genre just the language. because its like, and youll notice this if you listen to music not in english, it will just keep recommending the same five bands no matter what you listen to in that language and no spotify if i like listening to a hungarian trash metal band i will not, in fact, be interested in a hungarian soft indie band, just because its the same language

a lot of artists i like have talked about this, that its almost impossible to get international recognition when the algorythm is geared towards containing countries in categories. like an english speaking listener will probably never discover, say, carson coma, even if they listen to the type of music thats similar to cc, because the algorythm sees "pop" and "hungarian pop" as separate genres

and yes i could stop using spotify in fact i am working on it, but that wont solve the actual issue because artists are increasingly reliant on streaming services, and spotify is pretty much dominating the market
