Personality: Despite his look as tough guy due to his rocker attire, Randy is a very generous kind of guy. He is altruistic, introverted and doesn't talk much in general. He is patient, reliable and with a good sense of responsibility. He has a soft side he shows mostly to animals and to his loved ones. He suffers from anxiety and panic attacks. His personality changed a lot from his teen years to his twenties. He used to be very indecisive, unconfident and carelessly reckless before the accident with his step sister, then he became quite over protective, especially in her regards.

History:

Randy lost his father at the age of 10. His mother had then to get two jobs to be able to make ends meet, so the young boy mostly spent his middle school days on his own and without a proper parenting figure. During his last months of middle school, his mother started dating a friend of his late husband and the three of them moved together in his hometown, Trenton in New Jersey.

Randy attended High School in Trenton, but his insecurities only grew stronger because of the new town, new school and foreign language and country. For the first two years he had no friends and troubles fitting in, while at home he could not find himself able to accept his step father, even though the latter was a very nice man who just wanted the best for his step son.

Things got even worse when his step sister Violet was born. Randy quickly grew jealous over all the attention his little sister was receiving and he started acting more recklessly and angrily. His change in behavior was noticed by some of his classmates, who decided to introduce him in their group. Randy finally felt like he belonged and he considered them as family, following them everywhere and embracing their attitudes. His group of friends often threw parties where drugs were often used. But Randy's life drastically changed after a dramatic event. He was supposed to look after his 3 years old sister Violet, for a night, but he decided to throw a party with his friends. They brought a lot of marijuana with them and his sister accidentally ingested a good quantity of the drug and had to be taken to the hospital with urgency. She survived but the event shocked Randy, who was then taken to rehab and followed by a shrink. By the time he started college, he was past his drug addiction but he had developed anxiety and panic attacks for which he was prescribed meds. His step father persuaded him to work part time in an ice cream shop and to pursue his passion for music. Randy learned how to be responsible and more self assured and was giving the chance to live on his own in one of his step father's properties, where he now lives with a rescued dog, two rescued cats and a python.

Trivia:

He has a husky/collie mix called Richie who’s a rescue dog. He also has two maine Coon brothers. A black one named Slash and a Red tabby named Axl, also rescue cats. And he also has a ball python he rescued from an high school friend named Cinderella.

He is a big dreamer and dreams of starting his own rock band, which he'd call Row Ice.

He is socially awkward and suffers from anxiety.

He labels himself as bisexual but everyone knows the truth...

Personality: AJ is a very smart and clever asshole. He's really observant and plotter and thanks to this he can rapidly define his preys. Also this helps him to get out of troubles. Being a quick learner makes things easier for him. He learned most of the things he knows about stealing from his uncle, that has been his mentor for 6 years since his parents died. He's a cocky bastard, full of himself, likes to put himself on airs and also being the center of the attention. He's quite vain yes. He's practical and loves to enjoy the simple pleasures of life (i.e. Sleep, food and sex). AJ's an extrovert and a bit solitary guy. He does like company, but people easily get tired of him or simply start to hate him because of his self-centered personality. So he just loves to spend a lot of time alone in the junkyard where he lives. He can be cranky at times, especially when somebody asks him about his early life. He's childish and possessive. He's definitely not a nice guy to have around and he also loves to make people feeling uncomfortable. He makes faces or stares or plays with his lower lip piercing in a nasty way just to piss people off.

History: When both his parents died in an accident in court, his uncle was the only closest relative and so AJ was given custody to him. Andrew Jones was a thief, he started training his nephew as soon as he started living with him (he was three), then, when the boy was five, after two years of intense training, he decided the kid was ready to follow him and quickly he let the young kid commit his first thefts. Andrew disappeared when AJ was still a child, he was nine at that time. Left alone, he started living in the streets, because he didn't want to go to the orphanage. Initially he stole for living, most exclusively food. Then he improved the technique and started to rather enjoy it. He learned the power of money and how it can change people and he started stealing rare stuff and selling it to make more money. He didn't want to live in a house though. He decided it was best for him to live in the shadows. So he found himself a place in a junkyard. The owner of the junkyard didn't bother having the guy sleeping there. He just asked for some money from time to time and AJ was full of money so it wasn't a problem for him. In his teenage years he discovered another pleasures of life, but now he has to deal with something he doesn’t know how to face.

Trivia:

He doesn't trust anybody but himself.

He has mastered the art of lock picking.

He doesn't have any social etiquette and lacks of good mannerism. Nor he has social or religious moralities. He lives by his own rules.

Intervista a Maria Grazia Brunini, artista capofila del progetto Green Art Coin

Proponiamo un’intervista a Maria Grazia Brunini, artista e autrice dell’opera “Demetra – Madre Terra” recentemente esposta alla Biennale di Roma. La sua figura è peculiare perché la sua arte si colloca a metà tra la rappresentazione di contesti immaginifici densi di richiami e l’innovazione. In Italia Brunini è infatti apripista del progetto Green Art Coin (GAC), piattaforma NFT che mette in contatto artisti e collezionisti permettendo la fruizione delle opere in digitale e in contesti del tutto nuovi.

Come ha conosciuto gli NFT?

Oggi si parla ovunque di questi token, che rappresentano la nuova frontiera del mercato dell’arte digitale. Alcuni artisti che non hanno ancora aderito alla realizzazione di NFT pensano che rappresentino qualcosa di astratto, ma non è così. I “Non Fungible Token” possono essere associati a qualsiasi risorsa, scultura, illustrazione, video, canzone, tweet, meme e molto altro. Basti pensare che il Comune di Milano ha trasformato l’Arco della Pace in NFT. Ed è solo un esempio.

E’ per questo che ha pensato di trasformare in NFT una delle sue opere?

Sono diversi anni che perseguo la strada della sperimentazione, ma ho sempre interpretato la tecnologia digitale come qualcosa di separato dal processo artistico creativo. Mi sono dovuta ricredere quando ho visto l’esimio professore Sgarbi, che ho avuto il piacere di conoscere in occasione di alcune esposizioni, promuovere l’arte italiana attraverso la nuova frontiera degli NFT. Proprio per la sua competenza mi sono avvicinata agli NFT con sicurezza. Inoltre, l’NFT diventa un attestato di proprietà e autenticità registrato all’interno della blockchain. Quale artista non vorrebbe che la sua arte circolasse liberamente in tutto il mondo, con tutta la sicurezza giuridica che un NFT può offrire? 

Ci sono numerose piattaforme NFT in circolazione: cosa l’ha convinta ad affidarsi proprio a Green Art Coin?

Anzitutto la disponibilità nei confronti degli artisti. Sono stata accolta e accompagnata in ogni passaggio con semplicità. Non meno importante, la gratuità dell’offerta per la realizzazione degli NFT. Inoltre attraverso la realizzazione e la vendita degli NFT sulla piattaforma GreenArt Coin, che è anche la prima criptovaluta etica al mondo, si contribuisce al finanziamento dei progetti per la salvaguardia del Pianeta e delle categorie più deboli.

Lei è stata la prima artista della Biennale di Roma ad aver realizzato l’NFT della sua suggestiva Opera d’Arte “Demetra-Madre Terra 2021”. Consiglierebbe questo percorso artistico ai suoi colleghi?

A proposito della Biennale di Roma, vorrei ringraziare il presidente Giuseppe Chiovaro per l’opportunità che mi è stata data e per aver supportato la divulgazione dell’evento di presentazione e il coinvolgimento degli artisti presenti. E’stata un’esperienza entusiasmante, che consiglierei senz’altro ai miei colleghi artisti.
