about me
i'm hannah and i like posting about things i like; especially film, art, music, and figure skating :)
i love faye wong, fiona apple, and sky ferreira. my favorite figure skaters are evgenia medvedeva, zhu yi, yuna kim, ilia malinin, denis ten, and javier fernandez.
i'm a marxist-leninist. as we enter a more multi-polar world over the course of this century i believe the most important thing we can do is oppose western imperialism. we must oppose us military and financial involvement in any and all conflicts, we must oppose western propaganda, and we must support the integrity of the peoples republic of china, the democratic peoples republic of korea, the state of palestine, the republic of cuba, the alliance of sahel states, and all other marxist, anti-imperialist, and decolonial revolutionary forces.
i study anthropology, and i'm learning mandarin. i've done some acting and i was a dancer for five years. my favorite novels are wuthering heights, speak, a feast for crows, and don quixote. some of my favorite films are raw, angels wear white, swing girls, green room, pumpkin, moonlight whispers, the tale of the fox, and fish tank. i like a lot of different music, from shoegaze to r&b to country. check out my spotify for a playlist of all the artists i listen to!
my favorite nut is pecans and my favorite vegetable is okra. figure skating is the only sport i really care about but i also sometimes check out women's soccer during big competitions. most of my friends are/have been involved in the sex industry, and most of them despise it. personally all i ever gained from the few times i've dipped my toes into the sex industry was a lingering sense of regret; don't listen to the people telling you to become a stripper, don't listen to the people telling you to start selling pics- it just isn't worth it. start reading andrea dworkin, jo freeman, and shulamith firestone instead.
i grew up on the vampire diaries, pretty little liars, and all the other teens dramas of the late 2000s/early 2010s. katherine pierce remains an icon to me. i like shoujo, my favorites are nana and peach girl. i like yellowjackets, the curse was good too. i've been watching hilda furacão lately.
the 90s are probably my favorite era of fashion, there's something so close yet so distant feeling about that decade? it was right before i was born, right before internet and cell phones took off, right before films went digital, right before the turn of the century. the last vestige of an old world we'll never return to, so close and yet so far from our current world. it's sort of an unreal time to think about for me? and i think a lot of the fashion of the era heightens that sense of close-yet-far unreality.
i usually drink vodka crans. i like dabs while wasted at parties and yet somehow weed gummies make me feel sick. my favorite pepper is habaneros and my favorite fruit is plums. i dressed exactly like sky ferreira in all ways until i turned 22. i used to help out at a perfumery sometimes which got me interested in fragrances, i usually wear relique d'amour by orizia l. legrand or moonlight by ariana.
if you like figure skating definitely check out 'the runthrough' podcast hosted by olympians adam rippon and ashley wagner. other podcasts i like include i'm so popular, the magnificast, blowback, the deprogram, nymphet alumni, and gastropod! all of them are great!

How about 4?
(Because of the reblog)
Hope everything's fine! ✌️
WarioWare Fan Ask Game!
4. Do you have any personal headcanons or interpretations of the characters? (In relation to design, hobbies, connections to other characters, etc)
Tagging @freakattack since they asked about this too. But I will squeeze in more headcanons in that post >:3 (please do not worry I will indulge in stuff here too)
I've been obsessed with this series since 2018, so I have like, about 6 years of headcanons. This does not include me goofing off with the Thangs in my youth, though I love them dearly. ...it's just that this love is overshadowed by ninjas.
Here's a chunk of headcanons:
Orbulon is squishy and very capable of transformation. I'm stealing the idea from @the-ren-amamiya that he cannot change his eyes when transforming into other beings so he still just wears his shades. He fluctuates between both lanky and chubby depending on his mood, but I like thinking of a middle ground between the two...like give him his boots back, please...
Him, Red, and Ana have gotten into transformation antics because we cannot forget that Red is both Ashley's wand and broom. It is very hard to beat those three when they are hiders in hide and seek. I like @scarlett-v-the-fox's idea that Red's transformations must contain the color red somewhere on him. So between that and Orbulon's eyes, only Ana can do a perfect 1 to 1 transformation when she feels like it.
In speaking of Ana, she's a bit like Ash's Pikachu because she likes contorting herself to partially resemble others to emphasize who's she's (or Kat are) talking about. That or she has a non verbal episode...she has quite a few moments where she doesn't want to talk, or simply can't. Yes I am a bit of a believer she has some neurodivergence, because I am in that boat of being neurodivergent and she has the vibes™.
Shadow was specifically bred to be a dog that's an expert in ninjutsu. Most doggos can't quite just turn into a sword. So in a sense, he's an inheritance from the ninja parents...or clan. Honestly I should pull up my notes on how...distant the parents are...if I can find them.
If you know me, you know I am very fixated on the idea that Ana and Lulu end up as besties. Ana still loves Kat. It's just that on the few occasions where Kat isn't around, there was a time Ana latched onto Lulu 'cause next best thing...that and they both love wearing dresses and eating. Ana cannot talk Kat into the whole frilly dress up time. It may not make full sense in most's lores and maybe even canon, but the one I developed with a close friend has those two also be supportive of one another in developing a sense of self. ...I really need to finish that fic where as (pre?) teens where pageant violence happens. ...It's not exactly as exciting as it sounds, but let's just say Ana defended Lulu who was being harassed by others for not being conventionally pretty.
I used to believe that the Thangs literally lived in Club Sugar. It's a tall building, and I tried to recreate that in the Sims 4. That isn't true anymore but Mr. Sugar still has to deal with the Thangs on a 20/7 basis. Also Mr. Sugar has a instagram for his kitty Bochi.
Miyakiyo has a YouTube Channel featuring her dog Jack, the doggo in the "Shake!" microgame from the first game. It's very much like like Maya the Polar Bear, and it's quite popular. She took advantage of the fact that WarioWare featured Jack in a microgame, especially because Wario ain't paying the royalties to feature that doggo. Of course, the twins are still good friends with Miyakiyo and Jack. I just haven't quite decided Miyakiyo's age.
Bridget and Sal Out are rivals...but are much friendlier to each other compared to how Vanessa treats them and Mona.
The doctor from "Listen to the Doctor" has 2 offices, with the one at Caresaway Isle as his vacation workplace. The nurse he works with tends to the one in Diamond City when he's away to that island. Yes he is absolutely the primary care doctor to all of the WarioWare cast.
I have a lot but I'll share more in other posts. Again, got 6 years of being fixated on this series. Feel free to ask for any specifics and what not!

Polar Pass ~ Finally, the Ideal Roster
Excluding what I have already discussed, there are 16 characters I would change. Starting with 3rd party characters and the Ultimate DLC: Crash/Cortex for (and Coco/Nina because I got rid of Chrom because I got rid of Roy) Pyra/Mythra and Rayman for Min Min. I have already gone over these characters but I'll add some more points. We already had Shulk representing Xenoblade, we did not need more. No one cares about Arms and replacing Min Min with Rayman makes a lot of sense due to reach of their limbs. Throughout this list a lot of replacements are going to be with some similar (and also a lot won't be). For other 3rd party reps I have taken out all of the Mii fighters. The Mii fighters are lame and the Wii series of games was already represented by Wii Fit Trainer, who is a character I don't like to play as but is a very unique addition to the roster. Instead I put in Professor Layton and Bomberman, because I love Professor Layton and I love my friend who suggested Bomberman, and Raiden. Not from Mortal Kombat, although another good choice, but from MGS. MGS kicks ass and I think a tactical super soldier guerilla warfare guy works against a robotic ninja. There needs to be more unique weapon based characters in Smash like spearmen, bombers, and cybernetic ninjas. Raiden is the second most unique character and star of his own game and that's why he's in. For Pokemon: Gardevoir for Jigglypuff, Smeargle for Pichu, and Oshawott for Roy (haha). You can keep Mewtwo, I understand how important they and that first Gen of Pokemon are. Keeping along with replacing Melee characters, Eggplant Man for Dr. Mario and Krystal for Falco. Capitalising on the Mario Movie and the fact that Wrecking Crew already has a stage in smash, and is much better than all the other one off games on NES, is why Eggplant Man is in. Krystal has an ice spear and Falco is mean. Fox, Krystal, and especially Wolf are also way more sexy than Falco. Last two 3rd party reps: Tetris for Isabelle and Eggman for Bowser Jr. . I'm sorry, Isabelle is still lame and Tetris is the best selling game. I do not have to defend myself here. Eggman? Why him above the rest? Simple, everyone else is too much like Sonic. Same thing with MGS, why put in The Boss or Liquid Snake when Raiden is really unique? Tails, Knuckles, Shadow? Too much like Sonic. Eggman is the most distinct and a good replacement for Bowser Jr. who relys on tech. Also, despite making up a lot of villains in platformers, there's not a single mad scientist in Smash (except for Cortex now but shhh). It's Eggman! Now, I'm sorry Mario/Yoshi/Wario, I'm sorry Metroid, I'm sorry Pikmin. No new reps for you. Paper Mario, Shy Guy, Ashley, Chozo, Bulborb. All great choices, the honourable mentions, but I don't think anyone else deserves more reps as bad as Zelda. Darunia for Young Link, Midna for Toon Link, Hestu for Robin, and Tingle for Corrin. Hey, did you know, FE has only sold twice as much as Pikmin? Did you know FE's best selling game has sold a comparable amount to the best selling Pikmin game? I understand, numbers isn't causal to influence and Metroid has similar sales to FE. But 6 is too many. Zelda deserves them WAY more. But why these characters? They are a good representation of species or beloved or really weird. Gorons and Koroks are really cool and show how much more there is to Zelda than elves and a Captain Falcon Clone. Midna is the best companion in any Zelda game. And Tingle is Tingle! There you have it, a roster that gives Zelda and Pokemon its do credits, has very a reasonable amount of 3rd party reps, gives a little more to MGS and Sonic, and shows off a more interesting side of Nintendo's history. The Ultimate Showdown.

It's funny that they bitch about Ashley when they have also used some of her posts or likes on SM to claim she's revealing the conspiracy and giving them signs while at other times they claim she's furthering the conspiracy and is on RM / Fox/ the Big Bad payroll. It's crayzeeee
They have never had a great quality assurance programs that is for sure. They argue polar opposite concepts a lot-like Darren’s team is both forcing him to hide in the closet and sending in blinds about him being gay.
Somehow Darren is paying all of Hollywood, it’s incredible.

On this day: At 19th April of 1997, "Power Rangers Turbo" premiered on FOX Kids. "Power Rangers Turbo" is an American television series and the fifth season of the Power Rangers franchise. The show was prefaced with the franchise's second film, "Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie". As with its predecessors, "Power Rangers Turbo" is a based on one of the entries of the Super Sentai Series; in Turbo's case, the source of the series is Gekisou Sentai Carranger. The series introduced a child actor as the new Blue Ranger and featured the departure of the long running characters Zordon and Alpha 5, as well the veteran team of Rangers and introduced four new characters to take the place of the veteran Rangers. Continuing from the exciting events of "Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie", the five Turbo Rangers use their new powers, weapons and high-tech supercharged vehicles to battle evil at faster speeds than ever before! The beautiful yet vicious space pirate Divatox follows the Power Rangers to Angel Grove to get revenge for ruining her planned wedding to the volcanic island deity Maligore. From her mobile Subcraft armed to the gills with torpedoes and explosives and crewed by a motley bunch of monsters, she relentlessly pursues our heroes. But the Rangers are not alone in their fight, as they are aided by Dimitria, a wise sage and friend of Zordon; Alpha 6, an advanced robotic sidekick with a streetwise demeanor, the Blue Senturion, a robotic intergalactic traffic cop from the future; and the elusive Phantom Rangers, a one-man army whose very identity is a mystery. An all-new team of Rangers is armed and ready to carry on the Power Rangers legacy T.J., Cassie, Carlos and Ashley join Justin to fight Divatox's continuing threat. The season concludes on possibly the biggest downer ending of a season finale in Power Rangers history. Both of the team's Megazords are destroyed, their weapons are lost, the Command Center is blown up (again, but for good this time), and the Turbo powers vanish. The Rangers themselves are spared by a last minute summons for Divatox by the legendarily powerful Dark Specter, suggesting he is the greater scope villain behind all other enemies. Utterly defeated, the Rangers leave Justin behind and set off into outer space after Divatox, setting the stage for the next season, "Power Rangers in Space". This season is somewhat infamous among fans, mainly because its source material, Gekisou Sentai Carranger, was actually a parody of Super Sentai series. Despite this, the writers tried to give the season a serious tone in its first half, leading to jarring mood shifts when the stock footage was used. An episode will be delving into the drama of Zordon and Alpha leaving to Eltar and Tommy reading his Zords instruction manual in battle. Another polarizing point, the twelve-year-old Blue Ranger, cannot be blamed on Japanese footage. Though it must be said there was a precedent for Kid Rangers in Super Sentai; both Kiba Ranger (White MMPR/Dairanger White) and King Ranger (Zeo Gold/Ohranger King) were children. Although the ratings for the first half of the season were at an all time low due to a rating decline that had plagued the show since season three, after a retool the show's ratings began to pick up again, paving the way for the next season to ensure that the franchise would survive. #PowerRangers #PowerRangersTurbo #TVShows #FOX #TVSeries #90sTVShows #TVShow #FOXKids #Onthisday #Television #TV #ActionSeries #ActionAdventure #ChildrenSeries #SciFi #SciFiSeries #PowerRangersTurbo_20ThAnniversary

Kathryn Dennis is coming face-to-face with a blast from her past — but she has no interest in making amends.
After a season of stirring up major drama and making an enemy of herself among the cast, Thomas Ravenel‘s ex-girlfriend Ashley Jacobs attempted to apologize to Dennis on Wednesday night’s episode of Southern Charm.
Before attending a fox hunt party at cast member Eliza Limehouse’s plantation, Jacobs texted Dennis, 26, to warn her that they might encounter one another.
“I just got a text message and guess who it is from … Ashley Jacobs,” Dennis told friend Danni Baird on the phone. “She said, ‘Hey Kathryn, I just wanted to shoot you a text that I’ve been invited to fox hunt. I want to come and have a good time and I don’t want to have any drama with you. I hold no ill-will toward you. There’s no pressure to talk to me. I wish you the best, Ashley.’ ”
Dennis, who shares daughter Kensie, 5, and son Saint, 3, with ex-boyfriend Ravenel, wasn’t interested.
“I don’t give a s— that you have no ill-will toward me, I’ve never done anything to you,” she said. “But how freaking crazy is that? I have no mental space left for this mental person.”

But once they were both at the party, Jacobs seemed determined to get her chance to say her piece.
“Thank you so much for just being, even approachable,” Jacobs said when the two women stepped away to talk. “I should have reached out to you a long time ago and I just want to say that what I said to you was none of my f—— business. Who am I to tell somebody how they should raise their kids, what kind of mother they are?”
Jacobs then admitted that her harsh words towards Dennis impacted relationships within her own family.
“They didn’t talk to me for a while, they were so disappointed in me,” she said. “My sister said, ‘I’m a mother and if someone said that to me, I’d want to kill them.’ ”
“You have to understand Kathryn, I really wanted you to know that I was not a threat to you. I was never trying to break up your family. I was really supportive of you and Thomas’ relationship,” she continued. “I was your biggest fan, really.”

But Dennis was having trouble believing Jacobs.
“You literally said the opposite of that several time,” Dennis interjected. “I don’t know how you can go from one polar opposite end of the spectrum to this one. I don’t know if I buy it. I just don’t buy the fact that you’re trying to be nice to me right now.”
“Listen,” Jacobs shouted. “We will probably never speak again after this. I just, I owe you an apology. It was never my place to say or do what I did. I mean, I’m not asking for forgiveness, I just want some sort of peace.”
“I’ve been at peace,” Dennis fired back. “I just want to feel like safe and normal and stuff.”
Ultimately, Dennis decided to accept Jacobs’ apology.
“I just need for you to know that I am deeply sorry. I’m sorry for hurting you and I wish I could go back, I wish I could take it back,” said Jacobs.

“I appreciate that. I really do,” Dennis replied. “That’s very nice of you. I appreciate you saying that. And yeah, I wish you the best too.”
And while Dennis was certainly ready to move on, she wasn’t quite ready to forgive.
“There’s no way I can forget all of the s— she’s said about me,” Dennis said in a confessional interview. “Hell no.”
After walking away from the conversation, Dennis said she didn’t buy a word of Jacobs apology.
“It was such bulls—,” she told her friends.
Southern Charm airs Wednesdays (9 p.m. ET) on Bravo.

Fabulous at 51: Salma Hayek shows off her enviable curves in purple bikini during day at sea | Salma Hayek
She rose to fame in the United States after her role in the 2002 movie Frida. Although it was an adaptation of a telenovela that Salma Hayek had previously personified, the new take was a hit with viewers. Take Salma Hayek, who looked effortlessly cool while carrying a Gucci monogram bag at the farmer's market in Los Angeles. The 51-year-old is seen soaking the sun in a purple two-piece and paired it with ocean waves in the background.
Salma Hayek, 51, shows off her legs in floaty floral frock as she's feted in Hollywood. They filmed "Te Amo Corazon," which you can watch here, in Morocco, with Hayek's Frida co-star Mia Maestro serving as his love interest For all of Hayak's star power, however, the single failed to chart. One of the most tragic revelations is Hayek's recounting of how the film ended up including one of the hottest lesbian sex scenes ever included in a mainstream Hollywood film.Originally published December 18, 2017 at 2:54 pm Updated December 18, 2017 at 3:05 pm.
