#talktuesday Being single has its rewards and its challenges too. The older I get the more I realize how I let the flaws, traumas, and happiness of others take precedence over my own. Having a giving heart can be a blessing but it can also be a curse when it gets near a taker. As discouraging as those instances can be one thing that I remind myself is the lessons will produce a better me. Yes, it's frustrating but we can never discount the value of a lesson even if it is one that is hard to swallow. My hope is that the lessons learned will bring the blessing that my heart desires. #thankfulthursday I think every designer or seamstress will have a project that will make you question your whole existence and skill level. That was me yesterday. What should have been a 1,2,3 make turned into a whole tornado of mishaps?! Sewing through it reminds me of life and the storms that we face. We start to question our value and just what we are made of. When I'm in the heat of it my first prayer is God you know how to do everything. Guide my problem-solving skills so that I can come out on the other side victorious. Just as God helped me to get through my sewing struggle is the same way he gets me through the twists of life. I pray it gives you a lift this morning as it did me. ÷÷÷÷÷÷ I have been thinking so often on how can I do more to bring my dreams into real time. It often seems like when trying to pursue a passion you are running on a hamster wheel. It's turning and turning but it seems like your not going anywhere. Life has so many twists and turns, filled with challenges and victories. So today let's declare no matter how small the step I will keep stepping until it adds up to something BIG. When adversity comes I will smile and trust that God will help me weather the storm, I will stand firm and stretch myself. Knowing that in that stretching comes to change.
