In my most recent best dream moment instead of continuing to run through a horror like maze of past memories and family ew stuff, i broke through the walls and fell through an everlasting abyss until reality was starting to almost break and it was like i was starting to be forced out but i kept pushing and refused to wake up, i wanted to break through, into like the shadowy realm of the universe or whatever, where suddenly this being of great energy loomed up and warned me that i wasn't allowed to look upon this place, i wasn't supposed to be here and he was getting angrier the closer I got. I knew i had been there before and i longed to be there, it was like a homesickness feeling, but i also didn't want to disrespect him. He was something between shadow and lightning, the deepest darkness and the most powerful energy, and i averted my eyes but kept going deeper, begging him to let me stay just long enough to tell him something, which is that i loved him? Even though i felt shunned and abandoned bc all i wanted was to stay there with him and be in that place.

Then he kinda nodded and accepted my love and i was gone.

I was set in a very similar place where it was almost like he was watching over me but it was really just another horrorified replica of that place bc ofc as my dreams always do it turned into a battle for survival bc the imagery of this great being was at first worshipped and within seconds was then feared for its great power bc it was predicted to cause the end of the world and i was caught smack dab in the middle of it.

advice i think we should tell children is that when adults say stuff like ‘now that i’m an adult i get really excited about stuff like coffee tables and bathrooms and rugs etc’ they don’t mean ‘and now i don’t care about blorbo and squimbus from my childhood tv shows anymore’ bc your average adult still loves all the same pop culture stuff they always did; they just have a greater appreciation for the mundane as well. growing up just means you can enjoy life twice as much now. you can get really excited about a new stuffed animal AND about a new kitchen sponge. peace and love

Tbh? I don't like Paul. I don't want Paul. I understand that Paul serves an important narrative function and that Paul is the best possible ending for Camilla and Palamedes given their situation, personalities, and relationship. However what I really want is for Camilla and Palamedes to attend the ATN wedding as two individual humans and for Pal to be a lightweight who loses his tie in the garden fountain after three drinks and for Camilla to do exactly one shot with the group, keep Gideon from ripping the sleeves off her dress shirt, and absolutely kill it at lawn games during cocktail hour. Since this scenario is a wild tonal mismatch for the series and also Palamedes was already dead, this was unlikely to ever happen. However Paul is the final nail in the coffin for the theoretical existence of this scene and I can't help but resent them for that
