Ok, so I'm kinda confused abt something. Aurelius' bio makes it sound like he's already married. Is he? Or is it that he's betrothed/will be betrothed to someone?

I based that off from the original movie when Aurora was hesitant to leave the moors after hearing that she already had someone set to marry her (prince Philip).

In this story, Aurelius does have a “Prince Philip” with him though he’s not meant to marry him . He is pressured by his family to marry another princess from a neighboring kingdom, but since he’s still at RSA, no plans have been made by the family apart from that :0

So long story short he isn’t married, just in a sort of “limbo” state with his future engagements ^^

From the corner of their washroom, we see Arch, leaning over the pedestal sink; their hands pressed at the edges of the porcelain as they stare into a rounded mirror. The blood of someone else leaves streaking finger marks behind. They bow their head at the turning of the faucet and when they remerge from the bowl, crystalline liquid drips from their chin. It didn't work. Whether they thought themself to be beautiful once, they knew that they would never return to the person they used to be. It was useless to try.

In the Georgian house with a bright yellow door, we see Charlotte pulling long strands of black wiry hair up into a bun at the top of her head. She rubs her temples as she rounds the island, wishing there was a bottle of Advil in the godforsaken place. In her search through the cupboards, she notices something off. No reflection in the chrome handles looks back at her. Her reflection is missing from the shiny metal of the old toaster as well and to that, she furrows her heavy black brows. Her eyes snap up to the ceiling as the sound of Rosanna's cries reverberate through the house once again. Charlotte forgets all about the missing reflection, and returns to her motherly duties instead.

Lyrem takes a breath and brings out a jeweled knife, twirling the point against his calloused index finger. He sees himself in the glaring metal, and pauses, suddenly reminded of how many years he's put behind him. The deep lines of his face cause him to turn away in disgust of himself and what he's done with his time. He has a chance- just one, to make sure that Arch doesn't make the same errs as he did.

Shackled up and exhausted, Arthur's eyes find themselves closing on him only to be awoken by the horror that comes with the feeling of emptiness and darkness. The Labyrinth changed him. It was likely he might never sleep comfortably again. The moment the lights go out, the moment he is at peace, he feels like he is wandering through the aimless, silent, nothingness once again. He grimaces, stretches out his neck and catches a glimpse of himself in his shackled wrist. He doesn't even recognize himself. He hardly remembers who he used to be.

The dining hall: where there once were lavish dinners hosted with music, and dancing; filled with joy and love and family, there was now only the sound of a single set of hoof-steps. They echoed through the Underworld's cavern. No one had been invited into the hall for ages. The family had grown apart. He airs it out slightly, and checks himself out as he smooths out his thin black beard. He sighs in utter delight of himself.
