This is dedicated to the amazing authors out there who are dealing with negative anons and the like:

Ok so I can't believe that as an adult I have to lecture other adults on how to behave on this site. But here we go......

Y'all remember the golden rule right?? Treat others as you want to be treated? This is something we are taught as children, usually around the ages of 3, 4, and 5 years old. So why are some of you (who I assume are NOT 3, 4, or 5 years old) pushing your negativity towards an author who has done nothing but put their soul into their works for our entertainment? FOR FREE I MIGHT ADD?!! Why do you feel the need to bash someone who wrote something because it's not the way you wanted it to go? Guess what, it's not your fucking story! You want to write a fairytale that ends with the characters living happily ever after and it's all rainbows and sunshine? Great!! Do it. But that's not life. Real life is painful and messy and we make mistakes. None of us are perfect. So instead of criticizing an author who is devoting their free time to giving us these masterpieces, how about you just don't click on the post? How about you just keep scrolling past them and keep your bullshit opinions to yourself? Remember that there is a person behind every post you read and they have feelings too. Remember that even if you post something anonymously, words hurt. Words cause damage that can seriously undermine another person's spirit. This world and life are hard enough without us bashing and hurting each other. This world will only work if we all work together and treat each other with respect.

You don't have to like the author's works or agree with them, but you need to show them respect.

To my favorite authors, you all are amazing. Keep your heads up and keep those amazing fics coming. The real ones will love and support you no matter what.

And one more thing, if you disagree or would like to have a chat about what I posted, my inbox is always open. But remember, if you act like a child, I am more than happy to treat you like a child.
