we had a fire drill at my school today
usually the school counselor is supposed to come get me early because of my 504 and other accommodations that i have
but apparently they don't actually care to help the disabled students if it's not a physical disability
so guess who was completely ✨shut down and nonverbal✨ for the rest of the school day and up until just now

Chewing stims aren’t childish so why the hell did this one post I see treat em as such
Being autistic can suck when no matter how you act people will always see you and your traits as childish
I once was in ceramics class and I screwed something up and I think I said damn or something as result. This one girl, who mind you curses so often, acted so surprised and was like “you can’t say that you’re so innocent 😢🥺”

selling art problems!
To sell the product, I must push the product, issue is I have to talk about my stuff and me and have to deal with years upon years of being told to never talk about myself for it seems rude and bragging and such. Blame old school deviant art for that. I shit you not used to be back in the day if you tried to promote anything even if on your own stuff, or page, you got called a sellout and some other nasty shit...deviant art was wild back then.
Also I worry I don't sound genuine when I do promos, which is an issue I have had for a long time. I worry if I don't sound genuine or people perceive me as disingenuous they wont buy my stuff. I am not just talking me doing things verbally I mean text wise as well.
ALSO doesn't help on a lot of social medias (looking at you tiktok) if you try to talk about outside the social media sites you get suppressed the post doesn't go out as much...Just a whole shit ton of things which is very unfair to those who are trying to make money for a living.
Heck I am still on the fence if tumblr is still doing that with posts linking to outside tumblr...I know it was intended for safety but you know. It didn't work well.
So um anyone who is actually reading this got any advice or help or anything to let me be more willing to promote like my merch stuff and my commissions that would be nice.

Please, can anyone help me spread awareness of a specific autistic trait that I have but nobody seems to understand...?
I made a HUGE long post about my food sensitivities and even though my mom read the post, my parents don't truly understand my struggles because they are as neurotypical as you can get. I want to spread the word about how food sensitivities can severely impact the life of an autistic person, just as it does for me. Here is the link to my huge long post.
If you think you will be triggered by the post or it will make you upset or anxious, you don't have to read it...just please...PLEASE...if you are autistic, especially if you relate to this issue, please reblog this post right here that you're reading right now, and help spread the word. Also even if you are not autistic, I urge you to reblog this anyway, especially if you know an autistic person who struggles with this issue. Please help me with my mission to at least TRY and help people understand how much this issue affects not only myself but many other autistic people as well. I KNOW I am not the only one who struggles immensely with this. Please help me spread the word. The word needs to be spread.

Just a reminder that people who still live with their parents as adults deserve respect and for you to stop being ableist. There are multiple reasons someone could still live with their parents! From invisible to visible disabilities, finance issues, and more!
Stop using the “well they’re gonna turn into a creep living in their parents basement” punchline! It’s disgusting. STOP. BEING. ABLEIST. STOP. FORGETTING. THE. POOR.

i always see sensory avoidant autistic people talking about how their favourite foods are all plain carbs but where are the sensory seeking autistics who live on garlic and spicy foods? the ones who will eat a straight lemon and hate buttered noodles.

COMMISSION ME!!!
So I can buy myself earplugs and a chewelry because living in this house as an (about to be diagnosed) autistic person is a NIGHTMARE🥹
My Commission Sheet
Just some the gems that happen here EVERY DAY:
- I live with my grandma and she has the TV on full volume bc she cannot hear (well I can, pretty well, and it's TORTURE)
- my uncle has the TV in the other half of the house on full AS WELL, sometimes even blasting music
- no one goes to bed till around 10-11:30 pm so obviously the TVs are on, people are chatting etc while I'm trying to sleep (spoiler alert: I can't)
- my mom makes this GOD AWFUL sound with her mouth occassionally that DRIVES ME CRAZY and she WON'T STOP
- my grandma wheezes when she breathes (like, all the time)
- my uncle chews SO. LOUDLY...
- NO ONE can put the dishes in the sink without making such orbital sounds that my ears start to bleed
I'm about to go insane... /halfsrs
These happen every day and there are MORE that happen occassionally. In short terms: I live in an autistic nightmare. And I have this "thing" I hate SO much... I am always moving my jaw and snapping my teeth together when I'm not aware and it usually hurts after a rough day, idk why or what that is, but yeah I desperately need a chewelry or something.
Anyway, thank you if you read all this! Have a great day! 🫶
