#ooc #i'm serious though!!!!!#Make a tag if you're concerned about 'spamming'#i use “SRB” and I know a lot of people do! short for self reblog #use your queue and schedule post features #(Queue is just 1 button press and it goes into a queue of other posts that will auto post x amount of posts between a time period)#(If you got into your 'queue' on your dashboard you can change these settings. A queue can hold 1000 posts)#(Schedule posting means you pick the exact date/time it will be posted #then it will be filtered into your queue for that time)#if you don't want to on a whim reblog your work I highly recommend scheduling your post to reblog a few hours/days/weeks/months from now #or if you already have a big queue just toss her in there when you post and be pleasantly surprised when it gets spat out again #but don't feel shame or embarassed !!!#you worked hard on the things you share and the deserve to be seen #sometimes that means a little more work (pushing buttons)#and thats ok!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#ok now for real bye love you

thank you!! i love art that's soft and fuzzy...

i generally do it a handful of different ways, but i tend to bounce between a color noise filter layer in soft light mode, between 30% and 50% opacity,

... or i use something from my wide array of paper textures, and usually set the layer to overlay and play with opacity till i'm happy with it

......oooorr i do a combination of the two! which i did in the final version of this piece, which i Also added a gradient map to to make the colors a lil more ✨Dramatic✨

here's where i got (most of) my paper textures and here's a rainbow color noise texture (that i don't personally use but looks rlly similar!)

I FINALLY CAN AUTOMATICALLY FILTER OUT AO3 TAGS ON MOBILE

Only works for android, sorry ios users

The extensions I'm using are AO3 enhancements to help filter out fics with many fandoms tagged and ao3rdr which can filter out words (I use this to block the word RPF for example)

#loz #in photoshop i took a transparent pic of a blunt from google #posterize → filter gallery (cutout) → adding rimlight w/ stroke ->#duplicate layer turn off stroke above and erase top layer in certain places for lighting →#for jpeg artifacts add noise > uniform → noise > median just a little bit #and played with darks and lights #and then added the shadow under it #if you want to try something like this for yourself #i also auto normalized the base picture in all three things #tone contrast and color i think?
