As long as you can remember, Neteyam Sully has always been the person closest to you, covering your back every time you created trouble in the Omatikaya clan or got into trouble with your own family. Fortunately your parents trusted Neteyam blindly, after all he was the son of the Olo'eykte and as he grew up, his reputation grew with him, making him worthy of the trust of the whole clan. You could consider him your best friend, who understood and appreciated your rebellious spirit and so contrasted with his, creating a perfect balance in your relationship, as one gave the other what one lacked.
When you were younger it seemed easier to see you only as friends, but when you came of age you found it difficult to see Neteyam only as a friend. You had to admit that he had become a handsome Na'vi, an excellent warrior and probably the definition of perfection in the flesh, always teasing him about things like "You are Eywa’s favorite" and similar phrases. It was a fact that Neteyam excelled at everything he experimented with, so much so that he was the first Na'vi of his group to complete his Iknimaya on the first try, so you assumed he was perfect at everything. You never tried to make him understand your true feelings, intimidated by the fact that he would probably reject you and drive you away, ruining a friendship that lasted for years. So you arrived at the age of twenty with a huge crush on your best friend, watching in silence as the young Na'vi attached to him and flirted to become his companion and one day Tsahìk. You were heartened that he never told you about a particular girl, so you weren’t afraid to lose him yet, not wanting to realize that one day it’ll be too late to come out.
"Yn? Why are you so thoughtful?" Neteyam asked you as you walked through the forest, to reach your secret place where you two spent most of your time. "Mh? A-Ah, nothing, I was just seeing if there were fruits around to collect and take with us" You replied, smiling at the Na'vi near you, trying to drive away all the thoughts that haunted your mind. "Are you sure? If you need to talk to me about something, here I am, you know ma Tanhì" His sweet and caring voice was just one of many curses that didn't help your arduous feat of not thinking of him as a possible partner, but only as a childhood friend. "Yes" you hissed, forcing a smile and then turning away from him, bringing it back on the path before you. You kept walking for a few minutes and then you stopped because of Neteyam who got stuck in his footsteps. You looked at him worried, thinking that he had stepped on a poisonous animal that created paralysis or something like this, but then he turned to you with an embarrassed and shy look. "Ma Tanhì… can I ask you something?" he asked nervously, while scratching the back of his neck, noticing a slight veil of redness on his cheeks. "Umh… yes, tell me" you answered, approaching him, trying to figure out what question might embarrass him this way. "How do you get a girl?" The question hit you directly where it would hurt you most. "I-I mean, I’m asking you because you’re my only female friend, and I know asking Kiri would be the same as being mocked by all my siblings, and my mom isn’t the type to make that clear, saying things like 'follow your heart' or 'be yourself', so… I was hoping to hear it from you," he continued shyly.
At that moment all your beliefs collapsed like a house of cards, realizing that it was now too late even to mention that you had a crush on him. You didn’t react right away, your heart weighed so much that it crushed your lungs, taking away your ability to speak. After a few seconds you began to laugh, hiding your pain behind this action, hoping that Neteyam would not notice from your eyes that you were hurt. "The mighty warrior Neteyam, son of the Olo'eyktan and golden boy of the Omatikaya clan does not know how to get a girl? Really?" You asked ironically, knowing perfectly well that every girl in the clan would fall at his feet with a simple smile or greeting. "Neteyam, knowing you, you’ll just need to introduce yourself to this girl and she’ll be at your feet." your voice was a little tougher but sincere. You started walking in the forest followed by Neteyam who was trying to keep your quick step. "Let’s say she’s not like the other girls, this girl probably doesn’t even see me… Or if she does, she doesn’t do it the way I would" Unknowingly Neteyam was stabbing your heart repeatedly with those words. "Neteyam, c'mon. All the village women have a crush on you, you are the ideal type of all, so I doubt that 'this girl' doesn't see you as you would like" You snort while moving the plants to walk, feeling the look of Neteyam burn on your back and then sigh. "I’m telling you, that’s it. Y/n, you’re my…best friend, help me. Please, I promise I’ll cover you with your parents when you run off in the middle of the night, whatever you want" his desperate voice made you laugh, having never heard he beg like this.
"And you’ll have to take Tuk and my little sister Popiti out whenever they want. Plus, you will accompany me and Kiri to collect beads and objects in the forest" You turned to him suddenly, finding him a few inches away from your body. backing up because of the short distance between your bodies. "All right, will you help me?" he lowered his voice quietly, looking you in the eye while waiting for your answer. "Yes… Tell me about this girl." You back off before you start walking again, trying to calm your heart that was starting to run in your chest. Your tone was slightly cold, you didn’t really want to hear him talk about his crush, but as his friend you couldn’t even back out, not after he was always there for you. "Well, she’s… you know…" he began in a dreamy, excited tone, following the direction you were taking. "Perfect. There’s not much else to describe her with. She’s different from all the girls I’ve ever met, she’s kind, caring, and she loves being with kids. I know she’s a rebellious spirit and she likes to make things. is perfect, then her hair-" you stopped him before he could continue to describe her and go into pseudo-romantic details like the smell of her hair or the sound of her laughing. "That’s enough, I could throw up if you started listing the physical characteristics too" Neteyam laughed embarrassedly, remaining behind you. "Have you already come out? Or have you at least made her think you’re interested?" Your voice became slightly gloomy, and then stopped once you arrived at your secret place.
The place was lovely, you had found it as children and from that day had become your place, there was a small waterfall that created a kind of crystalline lake that connected to a small river hidden by high plains and thick nature. You and Neteyam sat on the grass to talk more comfortably. "No, I don’t know how to tell her or make her understand… I thought it would be easier, but every time I try, she doesn’t understand it or she starts laughing thinking that maybe I’m joking" he sighed heavily, and then he looks up to the sky. "And how did you 'try'?" Your eyes met his, trying to help him in some way, even if you would have preferred to do the opposite. You still had to realize that Neteyam could fail in something as easy as courtship. "Lo'ak told me to show interest, to be empathetic and to be myself, but all this I already did. My mother said that showing myself confident would be attractive, but I’m confident and direct in words, and showing respect." Neteyam dropped on his back and snorted, clearly frustrated by the situation, which you also noticed from the nervous oscillation of his tail "'Teyam, I know no one more respectful than you, as I said, you would be the perfect mate for any girl in the village." You admitted looking at the guy who was now lying next to you, unable to look away from his sculpted body, following every line of his body, enchanted by how his chest rose and lowered with every breath.
"Then what do I do… Why doesn’t she understand? It’s obvious that I’m doing something wrong in the courtship, ma Tanhì" his head turned towards you, looking at you while you were sitting and watching him, making him blush slightly. "Maybe start complimenting her, girls love that. Put your hand in her hair when you talk to her, like moving a strand behind her ear, looking for physical contact makes understand your intentions, especially by the way you do it. Oh! Make her laugh, if you can make her laugh, surely you have done most of the work" your voice was bitter in your throat, you were hating giving that kind of advice knowing that he would use them with who knows who. Neteyam as he watched you listening attentively and taking mental notes of what you advised him. " And be attentive to the details, what interests her etc… if you remember important events in her life or what she loves to do, it is a clear sign of interest. Plus if you have common interests, could you do it together, for example, she likes hunting?" he looked at you enchanted for a few seconds, then nodded and said "Yeah, she likes it" his voice lowered slightly, as he looked at you, hoping that you would understand. "Well, you can ask her to hunt with you. You’re a great hunter, you’ll definitely impress her. And then… umh, I don’t know, maybe be present in her days, even with a greeting, maybe looking for her look or bringing her something you know she might like. And be direct, let her know that you like her, maybe you take her and tell her, you create the right atmosphere… yeah, you know… things like that" You looked away from Neteyam’s, feeling a strong twinge in your heart that made it hard to speak again, feeling as if I had helped him get away from you. "What if she doesn’t understand it? she’s a good friend, and I don’t know if she’ll reciprocate" You clenched your jaw, maybe understanding who that girl was. Your mutual friend had been acting weird with you for weeks, and Neteyam was acting strangely the same way. Now all the dots were connecting in your mind. " He will understand, if you will be directed with there is another way. If it is not a skxawng. In case you make yourself heard and give her special attentions." You said with clenched teeth, unable to hide the annoyance anymore.
"Ma Tanhì," he whispered, approaching you, sitting again just to lay two fingers under your chin, turning your face towards him. Your noses brushed lightly as his eyes rolled down your lips. "And as actions?… what should I do?" his hoarse voice struck you in a strange way the back and the lower abdomen. "U-umh… Maybe you should… w-well" The breath died in your throat, going to create a knot that pushed down all the words that were going to come out of your lips. " Hmm? I should what, ma Tanhi?" your noses rubbed against each other again, and for a few seconds you deluded yourself that he wanted to kiss you, perhaps failing to realize what was happening. His eyes returned to yours, making you feel a flock of Sturmbeest in your belly. "L-like… kissing her" You whispered with a thread of voice, while his free hand went to move behind your ear some strands of hair, then caress your cheek with his thumb. You swallowed loudly, noticing how Neteyam’s eyes seemed so concentrated in yours, leaving you amazed. "Should I?" His words made you take a deep breath, feeling suddenly weak. "You should…" Neteyam’s smile caught your eyes, staring at his opened lips, which received a mischievous smirk. "Yes, I should."
Suddenly a strong heat hit your body, causing your heart to pump as much blood as possible into your veins as your cheeks burned. Neteyam’s lips met yours, his hands moved from your face to hold the sides of your neck, pressing the thumbs on your jaw. You stood by that unexpected approach, and then only realized it when Neteyam’s tongue pounded against your lips and welcomed it into your mouth. You felt his sweet taste because of the fruit that you both had eaten just before walking into the forest, you moaning in his lips trying to break away from the passionate kiss to catch your breath. Neteyam bit your lip, pulling it with his fangs, now moving his hands between your hair and around your waist, pressing your head against his lips making you groan as your flickering fingers grazed the hard skin of his abdomen. His warm skin contracting under your fingers, as if you were made of pure fire, so much so that when you felt more confident of yourself and your body, you sat on top of him. Your legs tied to his pelvis, squeezing him to you as he did to your body, shuddering when his hand that was once on his waist was now climbing up your bare back, making you arch your body like a cat. You trembled when he came off your lips with a snap that accompanied the sound of the waterfall shattering against the surface of the water, making you pant and gasp to regain the air you had lost. Your red face and half-closed eyes while Neteyam pressed your fingertips on your body.
You feared, for a second, that everything would be over after that kiss and that the embarrassment would lead you two to stay away, but your fears were swept away when you tried to get up from his legs and Neteyam prevented you, starting to kiss your jaw. In silence your bodies were calling each other, you felt the pressure of his whole being against you and new electric shocks hit your back. His soft, moist lips drew wet kisses on your jaw, starting to bite and suck down your neck as your head bent backwards, keeping your eyes half closed. His tongue was even more raw with your already sensitive neck, rough and greedy explored every inch of your skin, occasionally pressing his canines, panting raucously as he savored you. Letting sweet moans come out of your throat in despair as your fingers crawled into his braids, seeking comfort. The curious and hungry eyes of Neteyam studied your skin, feeling contentment in feeling the trembling and shivers he caused you, enjoying your heavy breaths and the noises you made to contain the moans, as if you could be ashamed of something he was trying to hear with such desperation. Your back gently collided against the grass when Neteyam stretched you under him, sliding his lips down your body, as his fingers gently removed the braided top that covered your breasts, as if to give you time to stop him if you wanted. Your eyes rolled backwards as his rough tongue collided against your nipple, and his hand crept in agonizing slowly between your legs, caressing it. You bit your lip violently when you felt the gentle and circular movements of his thumb on your clitoris, feeling the chills come down and hit right where Neteyam was playing with his fingers.
The red cheeks began to burn on your face, as you carried a hand to your mouth to force you not to let him hear your stifled moans, even if your hot body betrayed you. A smothered scream of pleasure instinctively came out of your lips when Neteyam’s fingers slid very easily into you. You suddenly felt airless, your eyes wide open and your body trembling, eager to hear what else he had in store for you. Neteyam’s hoarse laugh made your tail stand on end behind you, while the tip of your head swelled because of excitation, making you blush even more. "No need to be embarrassed, it’s normal that you like this, ma Tanhì" he whispered against your skin, making you arch your back again because of his rough pumping on your breasts. "Shh, baby, just… enjoy the moment and let me hear how much you like it" Neteyam’s voice was getting lower and slower, more sensual, knowing that you would like this. Swallow loudly when Neteyam made his way up to your thighs, leaving behind a trail of burning wet kisses, accompanying his movements with his fingers firmly inside you, which continued to move as if they were waves, making your legs tremble. Your sensitive breasts made you shudder because of the light breeze and saliva that the boy had left on the tip, and when you lowered your head to look for his eyes, you found him blowing against the bundle of nerves that yearned to be satisfied. You once again felt his tongue but this time he was working through your needy folds, loving the way one of his muscles could make you feel all that ecstasy. You whined as your hands went to clench the soft grass to find a foothold to release the frustration of too much pleasure, dropping your head backwards, hoping to muffle as much as possible your desperate moans. Neteyam looked for your face, eager to notice the impatience of your eyes and watch your face become a mess just for him, with the aim of giving you as much pleasure as possible, wanting to feel you up to bring you orgasm. He started savoring your intimacy, tickling your folds with the tip of your tongue, making you grunt as you clenched your teeth. When he started sucking, you felt something break in you, you couldn’t even cover your mouth as you groaned his name without shame, watching as he was focused on feeding on your excitement. Your hand again found place in his hair, pulling them and accompanying his movements as he gave you pleasure. "Look how wet you are for me, you wanted me so badly?" Neteyam said with sensual voice, between a lick and a lukewarm breath to make you shiver and whimping.
Your legs began to feel tired and heavy around his cheeks, trying to close together to stop feeling that tingling and flickering caused by too much pleasure. Neteyam wrapped his big hands around your thighs, opening them wider, locking them as much as possible against the ground below as his fingers sank into your soft flesh. His jaw continued to move between your legs with a heartbreaking rhythm that went from slow and gentle to rude and fast, making your walls tighten around his wet muscle. Neteyam broke away from you when he felt that your intimacy was wet enough not to make you feel pain when he slips inside you. His eyes peered at your body beneath him, still trembling and sensitive, touching your already sweaty skin, worshipping how you writhed and gasped under him. You could only take courage later, drawing him to your lips after your fingers hooked to the necklace on his neck. You tasted your own intrinsic moods in your best friend’s saliva as you embraced his body between your legs, rubbing his covered intimacy with your naked, feeling him grunting in your mouth. You smiled as you felt him vulnerable above you, taking advantage of that moment to put yourself on top of him, your back arched toward him to allow you to continue the kiss that was giving relief to both of you. You began to rub yourself on his still-covered sex, feeling pleasure when his throbbing muscle found space in your heat, moaning with pleasure, as your hands on his chest could feel the contractions and chills running through his body as well.
"Hmhm, I know something you’d like to try." Neteyam said as he wrapped his hands around your bare hips, observing the red and purple spots that covered your body. "What?" you whispered in response, as you detached yourself from his lips, observing him with ardent desire. One of his hands came up on your face, placing three fingers on your jaw and thumb on your lips, caressing your soft mouth, and then gently tapping on it. "Open." he ordered. His eyes following your every move, worshipping the way you obeyed him by opening your mouth and taking his thumb in your mouth, without breaking eye contact. You instinctively began to lick and suck his finger greedily, whining as you felt the slightly salty taste against your tongue. "Good girl, you already understood" Neteyam continued, as his hand on his side began to explore every inch of your body with desire. The Na'vi lowered you to the height of his loincloth and you smiled before taking your face away from where Neteyam was leading you, back on his face, sliding his salivated thumb out of his mouth. "Hmhm, here I decide, 'Teyam" you whispered to his ear, noticing with the corner of your eye his jaw contracted as your fingers find their way under his loincloth, just after picking up some of your moods still dripping from your intimacy, wrapping your phalanges around his needy manhood. You heard him growl after panting because of your touch, his chest rising and the frustrated breath of his nostrils against your neck, making you smile for the effect you had on him. Your hand began to slide up and down his erection with gradual speed, you felt his hoarse and rough groans against your skin, his hands clasping your thighs and his breathless breaths. Your lips went to tease the shell of his ear, leaving some magnate kisses or slight licks. When you felt quite satisfied with how he was also pining under you, you lowered yourself making sure you kept eye contact. Your hand went to move and later rip off his loincloth; Neteyam bit his lip and then groaned deeply when your mouth wrapped around his glans, starting to tease the tip with your tongue. Your head slid along his entire length to completely conceal it, immediately moving the head with greed, making him hiss and wince under you. The vein of his penis pulsed incessantly against the inside of your cheek, as he bit his lip and carried a hand to collect your hair in a tight vise. You felt his erection collide several times against the deepest point of your throat, letting you fuck your mouth by Neteyam, before breaking off with tears of pleasure sliding on your face. Your lips swollen and reddened, covered with drool as you tried to start breathing regularly sent him into ecstasy.
The pre-cum that came out of Neteyam’s sex illuminated your lips, making him turn on more to the vision of you with swollen and dirty lips of him. He took you by the hair and carried you back under him, and then he opened your legs and slid inside you with a facility that you would not have expected. You moaned breathlessly as his hips collided with yours in that way, carrying your hands against his back, beginning to scratch and tighten his skin with need. Your cheeks reddened that welcomed other lukewarm tears, your legs tight around his pelvis and the strong heat that at each push accumulated inside you. His tail wrapped around your heel, holding you still due to spasms of pleasure. Neteyam’s hoarse groans did not delay in striking your ears, as he held you by the hips, caressing your trembling thighs and twitching at each of his lunges. Your sweaty bodies colliding with every little movement, making you more hot and eager to consume you. Your lips met once again, growling at each other every time Neteyam pushed against your G-spot, your willows stirring each other’s hormones still stuck in your mouths. You bit his lips when he began to push and grind inside you shamelessly, growling at him before whining, making him excite even more as he purposely struck where your walls held him tighter due to sensitivity. You felt Neteyam’s body stiffen and twitching above you just before reaching orgasm and pouring out of you in time, then carrying two fingers inside you and starting to pump until you reach your peak shortly after him.
You whimpered loudly after the strong orgasm that mercilessly hit you; your heavy, sore thighs as your orgasm crashed into him and hot splashes of your cum poured over his hand. He gasped entranced, stunned by the lust and how your body looked so soft and relaxed after cumming. You took long deep breaths, looking at the green leaves so far away from you because of the trees too high, the sun that lightly struck the place where you were made you return to reality. You blush when Neteyam lays next to you, looking up at him too.
"Well, then…" He started, while you recovered with your hand the pieces of clothes to cover yourself again, hoping that you both would turn a blind eye. "Hmm…" You whine while avoiding his gaze with all your heart. "Do you think after all this, you realize I have a crush on you? If even this way you don’t understand that I like you, I don’t know what other kind of attention to give you to make it clear" he said casually. You shuddered and looked at him in shock. "Excuse you?" you whispered not really wanting to understand the meaning of his words. "I say, did you understand that you are the girl I was trying to conquer?" Your eyes met and you swallowed. "I don’t know how to ask you more directly than that, and don’t think I’m not afraid to ruin our friendship. But I like you, not just aesthetically, i love every part of you. I’ve been trying to make you understand this for six years, not that I didn’t like you as a child…" His voice was slightly shaky, as you watched him in silence, trying to figure out how to respond. "You never let me know…" you whispered as you blushed. Neteyam laughed and led you to lean on his chest, wrapping your body with arms "You really are a skxawng, ma Tanhì. I’m supposed to be teaching you. But how to figure out that someone has a crush on you." You hit him blushing while hiding your face on his chest. "Yeah, yeah, lessons from a guy who doesn’t even know how to come out and only does it after having sex with his crush. The great Karyu, Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk'itan" You teased him and then got pinched on the hips by his hands. "Not that you ever noticed I’ve had a crush on you for ages." Neteyam looked at you perplexed, and you couldn’t contain the laughter.
"See? Other than 'lessons'. You’re more Skxawng than I am, ma 'Teyam."

✦ YOU JEALOUS ?
PT. 2 ↦ i fucking knew it.
neteyam x reader x ao'nung
Tumblr media
PROMPT ➜ after that night, you were left with doubts, and everything that was sure, now wasn't. but maybe this night you could get some answers from the one and only.
TAGS ➜ teasing, mentioning of sex, smoking, angst, fighting.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
you don’t even remember what exactly happened after... that.
you just remember neteyam’s eyes going absolutely numb, almost glossed with doubt. you hit him where you wanted to. but now you’re not even sure if that was how you wanted to make him feel. it’s incredible how you used to feel that proudness and glory in your chest every time he almost cried because of something you said. were was that feeling now ? was it now buried, the same way that neteyam was buried in your mind ?
you almost felt bad, regretting immediately what you said, but at least hoping he would get angry or say something back to alleviate that feeling of deep guilt you were sensing. you knew that even though he doesn’t show it, he cares. yes, he does actually care about what you say, what you eat, who you hang out with. but how could you be so dumb ? why would he make fun of you and ao’nung if he didn’t give an absolute fuck ? but you don’t get it, is he jealous ? is he worried ?
what are you neteyam, what are you thinking about, since you know every single thought of mine from how deep you’re buried in my mind ? are we feeling the same things ?
every time you thought about the way his hand, that was on the back of your neck, slowly let go of it, almost like he was defeated, not knowing what to think. his hand trailed it’s way down your back, which gave you goosebumps, to your arm and then your hand. you were still confused, looking at him with your eyebrows furrowed, having no idea of what he was going to think or say or do. you just let him, you trusted him enough to do that.
he held your hand for a few seconds, looked at you with eyes that were veiled with tears. but those seconds, lasted years, almost leaving your hand burned from how thick the tension between y’all was. he left, leaving your hand dangling near your hip, and immediately went away. you don’t know where he was going, you didn’t see it. but that string that connected you and him, would tell you later. since you two started being mean and competitive with each other, this weird red string formed. you could have your eyes closed, but as soon as he enters the room...
your bones ignite.
“neteyam’s here”.
you want the one you can’t have, and it’s driving you mad, because it’s always all over your face.
do you even want him ? do you want him or the version of him you created in your mind ? the version that used to play with you, take care of you, make you laugh and cry ? were did all the years go. they just flew in front of your eyes, and the person that cared about the most slowly died, only leaving his moving body and those soulless eyes. maybe you outgrew each other, maybe you didn’t. maybe it’s just an excuse because you couldn’t be together in the first place, even as friends. and the options left were either stranger or enemy.
and you would both rather feel hate, than feel nothing for eachother.
your insults were just sweet words spat in his face, which in his opinion were always better than your silence and indifference. his rough hand, glued to you. everytime he hit you it felt like a kiss.
but this is exactly what you were scared of, his indifference.
you hoped he would’ve at least turned back to you to call you a skxawng or dumb, or whatever.
could at least fill his ego a bit. but he didn’t.
you were now contemplating whether to go to the beach to talk like you did every night, or to just stay in your tent and sleep. this was probably the first time you weren’t sure that he was going to be there, because this type of situation had never occurred.
you’re bad at keeping your emotions bubbled, you’re good at being perfect but together you two were good at being trouble. the only way your emotions resurfaced was picking on him, just to see that angry expression which you absolutely loved, for reasons you couldn’t talk about with lo’ak because it would’ve been weird to talk about him that way with his brother. the most you could do was cross your legs, that’s it.
you know what, fuck it if he’s not there you’ll just smoke alone and then go to sleep as usual.
you brought your cigarettes with you and the special lighter you only use when you’re with him, fucking hell. your organs would probably start eating each other if he isn’t there, but you can’t know if you don’t go first, right ?
you hyped yourself up, took your things and closed your tent. while walking to your usual spot, you happened to hear jake and neytiri talk in their tent. you kneeled and positioned yourself better to not get caught because this would be very awkward and weird to explain.
“i don’t know. i don’t think Eywa does things on accident, there’s no such thing as accidents with her. but it seems so weird. what happened to them ?” this was definitely neytiri’s voice, the last time she sounded this worried was when you and neteyam got lost in the forest when you were seven and eight years old, they then found you both sleeping next to a tree. him hugging you to keep you warm. the sharpest blade of all is nostalgia.
“i’m actually worried, if they had the chance they would kill each other. i have no idea of what to do, all the words and speeches seem absolutely useless. sometimes i think the only way to stop this fighting is to send him to a training camp so they won’t get distracted by their competitiveness.” that’s jake voice, almost cracking. your heart sinked.
they’re going to send neteyam away. you couldn’t stop a tear from cutting through your face only at the thought of not always having neteyam six feet away from you. you had to take matters into hand.
you immediately stood up, walking fast to get to the beach as soon as possible.
your mind just couldn’t shut up. what were you going to do ? who were you going to have next to you ? yes, you have lo’ak but it just wasn’t the same thing.
to your surprise, you notice neteyam was sat in his usual spot. you didn’t recognise him at first, his hair was tied up only leaving a few braids that framed his face. he always knows how to hit the right spot. not smoking, but he was still there alone. you walked on the sand feeling it under your feet, and sat next to him. he did notice you but it seemed like he just wanted to ignore you.
don’t panic, don’t panic, don’t panic.
you took a cig out of the pack and lit it up, positioning it on neteyam’s lips while still holding it. he breathed in some smoke, to then breath it out a few seconds after.
you smiled, and positioned it again on your lips, doing the same thing.
the only sound you two were hearing was the waves crashing on anything they found in front of them. everyone was sleeping, you two smoking without letting a thing out of your mouth that wasn’t smoke.
“you know...” you started, finally catching his attention. he turned to you, taking the cig out of your hand, lightly touching it. without even realising it, you held your breath, goosebumps spreading all over your body. why were you suddenly so nervous, what happened ?
don’t panic.
“... i’m stronger that all my men, except for you neteyam.
i didn’t genuinely think that my comment was going to hurt you, that wasn’t my intention. “
you finished your sentence, almost whispering, feeling your heart about to jump out of your ribcage, this was the first time you ever seriously apologised to him. probably the reason why you feel your legs shaking like there’s no tomorrow. you just stayed there, silent not knowing what else you could possibly say to him. you have never been good with words. at the end of the day, your love language was physical touch. you just couldn’t find the words to express how sorry you felt, you could only do that by physically touching them. hugging, touching, caressing.
but things were way too awkward with neteyam to even lightly touch him. you felt this invisible barrier between the both of you, that neither of you dared to break, or even look on the other side. maybe because you were afraid of knowing what was going on the other side of the fence, maybe because you already know. only your consciousness knows the thin difference.
“i always get this anxious feeling,
but it always goes away when i’m with you breathing.”
two things caught you off guard in that moment. first of all, the fact that he was speaking to you, and second, what he said. you would’ve never thought in your whole life that you would ever hear him say anything to you, that wasn’t insulting or teasing. your brain can’t even process what he said, but your body already did. you could feel this weird warm, not hot, feeling in your stomach lingering there. your lips wanted one thing and one thing only, craving the presence of something, almost tingling, that you’re still not sure you will ever admit to yourself. to make things worse, neteyam slowly dropped his eyes to your lips, making you gulp. he looked at them for a second, only to then place the cigarette on your lips slightly parting them, while still holding it.
you hesitated at first, but then breathed in some smoke, taking over your lungs, filling them. neteyam smiled while looking at you breathe out, to then position his lips on the filter, exactly where yours were. you both silently decided to stay quiet, and enjoy each other’s presence.
both of you craving to do something, say something, since this was the only alone time you two had before going back to hate each other, which was something you silently decided mutually. you didn’t want to ask questions, but why did you have to do all this ? because you both know you’re not that jealous. maybe fear of commitment ? but fear of committing to what ? a simple fucking friendship ? maybe you both knew you could never be just friends. maybe you could, but you didn’t want to only be friends. who knows ?
you chuckled, catching his attention.
“you know we could argue right now, and no one would hear or see us ?”
you would never in a thousand years expected this. he neared his smirking face to yours, making your heart skip a beat, but without making it noticeable.
“we could do anything right now,
and nobody would see us. anything.”
and then proceeded to blow smoke in your face, making you cough while you both were chuckling.
he better thank god that you love his mom, because Eywa knows you wouldn’t have held back.
he then proceed to stand up, giving you a hand. you got up and he immediately pulled you in a hug. you hesitated again, but gave in. you hugged him tightly, letting all of his worries flow into you. he kissed the back of your ear, just like you did with ao’nung. sorry neytiri, but that motherfucker. you could literally fall to your knees right now. but you didn’t. you wanted to know.
how far can things get ?
he hesitated, and kissed you again on the same spot. he took it even further and trailed with his kissed to your cheek. kiss after kiss. letting his hands trail from your back to your lower waist, holding it tight like you could escape at any moment.
kissing, from the back of your ear, to your cheek. from your cheek to you jaw. with his hand positioned on your chin, he lifted it up, go give him more space to work on, making you hold your breath, clinging more and more to him. he moved from your jaw, to your neck. weakest spot of ours. and he knew, he fucking knew. you made a mental note to not tell to lo’ak anything about you anymore, because he was going to spill everything to neteyam. and for what c’mon ?
your thoughts were interrupted by his mouth kissing every inch of your neck, sometimes even biting on the sensible skin. you felt the need to cross your legs, to relief even if only a little bit the stress that and nervousness that he was causing you. almost as if he read your mind, he placed his knee in between your legs, but without making any contact.
“fuck you” you thought, without having the energy, the tongue or even the mind to say it out loud, you just felt him smirk against you neck. he knew, again. where did he get all of this experience ? well it wasn’t like you could act like he wasn’t handsome. very handsome. he must have girls like this every night, while you’re feeling special and excited for something he probably has already done a thousand times with a thousand people. you felt embarrassed, humiliated almost. but why does he have such difficulty finding a mate then ? you can hear the girls of the village, talk about him, his arms, his grin, his neck, his legs, his waist, something that is positioned a lil lower than his waist. you couldn’t understand ?
can’t he have the girl he wants ? is she that offlimit ?
that must be why him and jake were arguing the other day, neteyam saying that the only person he wanted was already taken by someone. he loved her, but she wasn’t his.
you feel the same exact way, but talking about mates with him was more offlimit than the girl he wanted. that would’ve been way too awkward. your thoughts were once again stopped by neteyam, who was dragging his hand way too low your waist, it’s not like you didn’t want him to, but still... you were afraid. even if you let him, would’ve that been it ? the end of it ?
a useless hook up, and then going to back to hating eachother ? but you knew. you already knew that if you two crossed that line, you could’ve never gone back to hating him. keeping him distant was the only thing that worked. were you so afraid to love him ? were you afraid he wasn’t going to love you ? were you afraid to love ? were you afraid of not knowing how to love or were you afraid of knowing too much, but with the wrong person ? but well if not him, then who ? for all you know, this could be the last time someone touches you this way. you must stop him, but how could you ?
“neteyam, stop.” you harshly grab his arm, taking him by surprise, but successfully stopping him. he chuckled leaving his head in the crook of your neck, his hands suddenly become distant and cold even though they still were on your body.
“i knew it.” he distanced himself from you, only for him to walk away still facing you for a bit and then stopping, still keeping you confused and doubtful. he continued.
“i fucking knew it.”

lo’ak sully was always getting himself into trouble. which was no surprise since it was basically his specialty. it would draw concern if he wasn’t getting into trouble. and every time lo’ak got himself into a sticky situation, neteyam was there to save him. even if it got him hurt.
this time was no different than the last. neteyam was walking around with a fresh new set of cuts and bruises while lo’ak was unscathed. it may annoy neteyam that his brother continuously puts him in these situations but he would save him again in a heartbeat without hesitation.
mo’at and kiri had sent the boys into the forest to gather more plants and herbs because they needed to restock their supplies.
as soon as they touched down in the forest, lo’ak and spider jumped off lo’aks ikran and started running around without a care in the world. neteyam on the other hand, dismounted his banshee in irritation as he grabbed his basket that he would need to collect the plants. he yelled after lo’ak who didn’t even bother taking his basket.
spider grabbed his before they ran off but lo'ak didn't. it was as if he was making things harder for neteyam on purpose. neteyam took lo’aks basket as well as his own and started trudging through the forest by his lonesome. he did yell out his brothers name every now and again just to see if they were close by but didn’t receive an answer.
“lo’ak!” he shouted once more and was surprised when he got an answer back but not from his brother.
“if i didn’t know any better, i would think they were running away from you.”
neteyam started walking towards the voice, before ending up at the lake he where he first met you. and there you were, sitting cross legged in front of the lake, making an anklet.
a couple minutes ago, you saw two figures running in the distance. you could tell it was lo'ak and spider because there was only one human you knew that that ran around pandora with traditional na'vi clothing and blue stripes painted on their skin.
so you instantly knew it was neteyam when you heard a familiar voice yell out lo'aks name. when the boy got closer, you didn't look up from what you were doing.
"hi." was all neteyam said as he squatted down next to you. you finally looked up so you could properly greet him but gasped at the sight of cuts and bruises that littered his face, arms, and chest.
you dropped the unfinished anklet in your lap as you cupped neteyam's face in your hands, "oh my eywa. what happened to you?"
the boy in front of you didn't answer nor was he looking at you.
"neteyam." you spoke sternly and your grip on his face tightened, not enough to hurt but enough for him to know you were serious. his eyes finally met your amber ones and he was slightly taken aback at the amount of concern within them. you truly cared for his well-being and he could sense that.
"lo'ak got himself into trouble and i helped him.. but i am fine." neteyam answered, looking away again.
you frowned, "are you sure?"
"yes. i am sure." he smiled weakly.
"so why are you out here instead of resting?" you asked, looking at the two baskets on the ground next to him.
"my grandmother sent us to gather more plants and herbs for her and kiri." he answered.
"ah, and now you can't find your brother and his human friend."
"precisely."
"well, you have me. i can help you."
neteyam shook his head, "no i could not ask that of you. besides, you're already busy."
"well it's good that you didn't ask. and i can finish this later." you said, gathering your supplies and putting them back in the small pouch you had brought with you since the piece of jewelry you were making was small as well.
you stood to your full height and bent down to pick up one of the baskets. you looked at neteyam before walking away. he was quick to his feet and followed behind you.
luckily, your siblings were prone to getting hurt so you had an eye for the specific plants and herbs that were good for healing. the two of you walked alongside one another, gathering things that the tsahík would need.
neteyam had spotted a plant and bent down to cut it as you stood behind him. you watched his back muscles flex as he went to work. you realized that he had bruises and small cuts on his back as well. you frowned just looking at them.
"neteyam." you spoke as he cut some plants from the ground before putting it in his basket. he hummed so that gave you confirmation to continue speaking.
"i understand lo'ak is your brother and it's your job to look after him but maybe you should let him handle problems on his own sometimes." you spoke softly, hoping that you wouldn't strike a nerve.
neteyam's crouched form tensed for a moment before he sighed, continuing to cut the rest of the cluster of plants on the ground.
"is he even bruised up?"
neteyam didn't answer once again and that gave you your answer. you sighed, "i just think it is unfair."
neteyam finally put the plants into his basket and the leftover in yours. he stood to face you.
"my parents put me in charge of lo'ak so he is my responsibility." neteyam spoke.
"i understand that and i respect it but i just think it is unfair that you have to bear that responsibility. you shouldn't have to keep getting hurt because he can be reckless. and you have your own life and keeping an eye on him is exhausting i'm sure." you said.
you were right. neteyam was exhausted. continuously getting himself hurt because of lo'aks careless actions. and whenever something happens his parents always looked at him to say 'where were you?'. trying to watch his younger brother like a hawk was exhausting and so was his trips to his grandmother's tent every other day.
"i do not have a choice. you don't get it." neteyam breathed out, looking into your eyes. once again, he saw that yours was filled with nothing but concern.
"you're right. i do not and i'm sorry for prying." you tried to apologize.
neteyam shook his head, “no it’s fine. you care for my well-being and i appreciate that so much but we can't really change my situation."
you nodded and silence waved over the two of you. neteyam finally broke eye contact to put his knife back in its holder. your attention then averted to the baskets that were full with plants and herbs.
"do you think this is enough?" you asked.
he nodded, "it should be if spider actually collected things too."
you picked up your basket and walked back to his ikran with him. he attached one basket to his ikran and the other to lo'aks. once he was done he turned to you.
"thank you, again."
you shrugged, "what are friends for."
"we should hang out again. when are you free?" neteyam asks.
"i'm always free neteyam."
"how does two days from now sound?"
"sounds great."
you both smiled at one another. then, your ears twitched at the sound of teenage laughter getting closer. it had to be lo'ak and spider.
"i will see you in two days. and please rest until then." you said and started walking away.
you yelled the second letter to your first name as you were finally out of sight. almost immediately, lo'ak and spider came into view so neteyam didn't even have time to process the letter you just gave him.
"bro where were you?" lo'ak laughed, finally reaching his older brother. neteyam shook out of his thinking state and turned to his brother with an irritated look on his face,
"where was i? where were you? you didn't even take your basket."
"i figured we could just use spiders. we didn't need to take both." lo'ak said, mounting his ikran with spider. neteyam rolled his eyes and got on his own banshee. they took off and went back to high camp. eclipse was approaching shortly and they needed to be back before then.
once they made it back, they took all the supplies straight to mo'ats tent and neteyam stayed to help her organize it and put it away in their rightful places.
when he made it back to his family's marui, he finally had time to think about the letter you had given him today. he put together the only 2 letters he had and tried to think of names he knew existed within the clan but he was stuck. needing help, he went to his father.
"dad?" neteyam spoke up to his father who was crouched down, fixing his gun that was placed on the rock in front of him. jake paused, looking at his eldest son.
"yeah son?"
"i had a question and thought maybe you could help me."
"what is it?" jake asked.
"do you happen to know anyone in this clan who's my age and their name starts with __?"
jake furrowed his eyebrows. he definitely wasn't expecting that type of question to leave his son's mouth. but nonetheless, he started thinking anyway. since he is olo'eyktan it was his job to know everyone.
it took about a minute before jake gave neteyam a name. neteyam smiled, assuming that jake just cracked the code for him.
"thank you sir."

Jake had been living with the Omaticaya clan for several years now, serving as their Olo'eyktan and leading them through countless challenges. He had come to love the people and the way of life here on Pandora, and he felt a deep sense of pride knowing that he was a part of this tribe.
On this particular day, he had gone out on a hunting expedition, determined to bring back a kill that would feed the village for days. He had tracked a huge herd of talioang for hours, unfortunately before he could have stroked, Jake came face-to-face with the ferocious palulukan. In the intense struggle that followed, the creature had inflicted several deep wounds on Jake's body with its sharp claws and fangs, leaving him bloodied and battered.
Despite his injuries, Jake managed to make his way back to the village, where he was greeted with cheers and relief from the members of his clan. They immediately sprang into action, tending to his wounds with the skill and expertise that had been passed down through generations.
As he lay there, Jake felt a sense of gratitude and awe wash over him. This was his home now, and these were his people. He had come to understand their ways and their values, and he had learned to respect and cherish them all.
As the healer of the clan, you swiftly received news of an almost fully successful hunt. While some might argue that it was completely successful since everyone would have food, it was difficult to call it a success when it had resulted in injuries.
After gathering the necessary supplies, you hastened to assist whoever required your aid. Upon arriving at the location, you had to shoo away others to be able to work effectively. It came as no surprise to you when you discovered that the injured party was none other than Jake himself. "You seem to enjoy getting hurt, don't you?" You remarked.
Jake rose to his feet, wincing slightly from the pain in his wounds. He turned to you and gestured for you to follow him to his tent, a serious expression on his face. You fell into step beside him, feeling your heart race with anticipation and concern for his well-being.
As you entered the tent, Jake motioned for you to take a seat on a nearby stool. He then proceeded to recount the story of his latest hunting excursion, during which he had been attacked by a fierce palulukan. He described how the creature had ambushed him from behind, raking its sharp claws across his back and leaving him with several deep wounds. "It was a fierce battle, but I managed to take it down. Unfortunately, it managed to get in a few good hits before I did. Its claws are razor-sharp, and I couldn't dodge them all. It's nothing too serious," he added, though the pain etched on his face suggested otherwise. "I've had worse."
It was clear that Jake was a skilled hunter, but even the best could fall victim to the dangers of the forest.
As he finished recounting the details of the attack, Jake turned to face you and asked if you would be willing to help treat his wounds.
You sat with your arms crossed, listening to an unnecessary story that you had never asked for. As you heard him out, your tail began to move restlessly, reflecting your growing impatience. "Considering how senseless your question was, I might as well leave you to deal with it alone," you retorted, tapping your fingers against your arm in frustration. Letting out a deep sigh, you stood up and approached the injured person to inspect their wounds more closely.
Jake sat on his cot, his back facing you, revealing the deep wounds left by the palulukan. You could see that the scratches were still fresh and bleeding, and it was clear that the hunt had been a difficult and dangerous one.
The palulukan, a fierce and formidable predator, had put up a fierce fight, and its razor-sharp claws had left a trail of deep, jagged wounds across Jake's back. The cuts were long and deep, some of them still bleeding and oozing pus, and it was clear that they would need careful attention if Jake was to make a full recovery.
You touched the wound gently, thinking carefully about your next steps. Fortunately, this wasn't your first time dealing with such a situation; in fact, it had happened more often than not. "Stupid," you muttered under your breath, flicking Jake's ear lightly. "So skilled, yet so stupid and reckless," shaking your head, you began your work by cleaning the wounds first. “A carefree rascal. Nì’eveng!”
Jake winced as you gently touched his wounds, his body still sore from the recent attack. You could feel the heat radiating off his skin, and you knew that he was in a great deal of pain. But despite the discomfort, Jake remained stoic and silent, determined to tough it out. "Look, I'm not stupid," Jake said, turning his head to look at you over his shoulder. "I know that even the best hunters can't always see an attack coming from behind." He winced as you applied pressure to one of his wounds, but he continued speaking. "That palulukan was faster than I expected, and I paid the price for it." He let out a deep breath and clenched his jaw as you worked on another wound. "But I'll be back on my feet in no time. I'm not going to let a little thing like this keep me down for too long."
You looked straight into his eyes and hissed at him, turning his head away from you to make it easier to focus. "If you're going to be back on your feet in no time, then why am I even here? I have more important things to do," you snapped.
Your skilled fingers worked swiftly on the wounds, ensuring that he wouldn't bleed out and would make a full recovery. Your anger towards him wasn't due to hate, but rather worry. He had a tendency to get injured more frequently than others, and for some reason, you cared about him deeply, which made you anxious.
Jake expressed his frustration at having let his guard down, as he prided himself on being a vigilant and cautious hunter. You could see the pain etched on his face as he spoke, both from his physical wounds and the wound to his pride as a warrior.
As you continued to tend to his wounds, he softened his tone and thanked you for your care and attention.  "I knew Mo'at made the right choice in accepting you as a healer," Jake said, looking at you again with gratitude in his eyes. "Your skill and care have helped me tremendously, and I am thankful to have you among the people."
Frowning, you flicked his ear once again, this time much harder in an attempt to shut him up, and turned his head away from you once more. "You sure like to talk, Sully. Maybe you got so hurt because you tried to talk the palulukan to death?" You quipped.
After finishing the cleaning and ensuring it was done correctly, you carefully began to apply ointment on the wounds.
Jake felt a sharp pain as you tended to his wounds, and he had to fight back a hiss. He tried to stay quiet, not wanting to show any signs of weakness or discomfort. He knew that the Omaticaya valued strength and resilience, and he didn't want to appear weak in front of you. He took a deep breath and focused on keeping his composure as you continued to work on his wounds. Despite the pain, Jake couldn't help but feel a growing sense of attraction towards you. He had been drawn to you ever since he first met you, and he couldn't deny the chemistry between the two of you, at least it was what he hoped for. But he knew that his duty as Olo'eyktan came first, and he had to stay focused on leading the Omaticaya clan. "Ha-ha, how funny you are, Y/N."
"Who said I was joking?" you asked with a smile as you pressed on one of the wounds, knowing it would elicit a reaction from him.
Of course, you were fully aware of how to do this without causing him any additional pain, but just to give him a little shock.
Jake grunted with pain as you pressed down too hard on one of his wounds. He tried to stay quiet, but a hiss escaped his lips. He gave you a brief glance, showing his fangs as well. "Nìktungzup!"
You didn't hold back from baring your teeth in return, but you soon gave him a mocking grin. "What? Did I hurt our big and mighty Sully? I thought you were tougher," you taunted.
"Behave, Y/N," Jake hissed in a stern voice, his eyes locking onto yours. "I'm tough when I need to be."
You hissed back and laughed softly, mocking him slightly. "I'll behave. It's just that I have a fussy hunter on my hands."
Jake rolled his eyes, not bothering himself with commenting on your words.
With a smile, you continued your work. After properly cleaning and applying ointment to his injuries, you proceeded to wrap them to ensure they were secure.
After his wounds were treated, Jake's expression relaxed and he breathed a sigh of relief. As the Olo'eyktan, he knew the importance of having skilled members in the tribe, and he expressed his gratitude for your presence. "Thank you for your help," Jake said with a smile, as you finished treating his wounds. "I think some of the other hunters might need your assistance as well. It was a fierce battle out there." He standed up from his cot, wincing slightly at the pain spreading all over his body but still looking determined.
After patting his shoulder, you added, "You should rest for a few days. It won't make you look weak if you lie down."
Then you left the room to attend to others.
Tumblr media
The next day, not having heard from him, you decided to check on Sully. Knowing him, he probably wouldn't heed any of your words, and the last thing you wanted was for him to bleed out.
You made your way to his tent, humming softly.
Jake stood at the edge of the High Camp, his eyes scanning the horizon for any signs of danger. He heard the sound of footsteps approaching and turned to see a group of young trackers returning to base. "What happened out there?" Jake demanded, his voice stern.
One of the young trackers stepped forward and began to explain, but Jake cut him off. "I don't want to hear excuses. You were supposed to be back hours ago. If you can't keep up with the pace, you have no business being out here."
The young trackers hung their heads, looking ashamed. Jake walked over to them, his expression softening. "Listen, I know it's tough out here. But we have a responsibility to the clan. We have to keep them safe, no matter what, and RDA is acting up again."
He looked each of them in the eye, his gaze firm but kind. "You need to rest and heal your wounds. But tomorrow, you get back out there and do better. Our people are counting on us."
His ears perked up and he turned his head around to see you walking towards them. "Y/N, oel ngati kameie."
You nodded, looking right at him. "Stubborn as always, I said to stay down for a bit and you didn't follow. But it seems you're doing well despite your wounds." Crossing your arms over your chest, you tapped your feet against the ground, not out of anger, but out of a mix of amusement and mild frustration.
As you finished speaking, one of the young trackers smirked and muttered something under his breath.
Jake's keen hearing picked up on it, and he turned to face the tracker with a scowl. "Is something funny?" He asked, his voice low and dangerous.
The young boy's smirk disappeared, replaced with a look of fear. "No, sir," he stammered.
Jake gave a nod. "You're dismissed."
After approaching you, he let out a deep grunt. "Listen, I know I should be resting, but I can't afford to stay in bed right now," Jake explained to you. "As the Olo'eyktan, I have a responsibility to keep the clan safe. I can't do that from my cot. There are threats out there that we need to stay vigilant against. Omaticaya have a strong connection to Eywa, but that doesn't mean we can let our guard down. The RDA is still out there, and they're always looking for a way to exploit our weaknesses."
You gave a little smile and waved to the others before returning to pestering Jake once more. "Trust me, I'm well aware of all that," you said, shrugging. "My point is, I took the time to patch you up, and I don't want you to mess it up by not being able to sit down for two days."
He growled at your words. "Aren't you a little too dramatic?"
"You know me, always the drama queen," you said with a smirk as you followed Jake to his tent. "But in all seriousness, I just want to make sure you're healing properly. Let me take a look at those bandages." You stepped inside  and began to inspect his wounds, making sure everything was as it should be.
Jake let out another grunt of annoyance. "I'm fine, you don't need to check upon me," he told you.
"I'm afraid I do have to check on you. I need to ensure your injuries are healing properly."
Jake took the garb off his shoulders, revealing his muscular arms and chest. He let out a deep breath and stretched his arms, feeling the cool air against his skin. He looked over at you and smiled, the tension from earlier melting away. He folded the garb carefully and set it aside before sitting down on his cot.
You couldn't help but appreciate his physique for a moment, but you kept your expression neutral so as not to give him any satisfaction. "Thank you," you nodded, approaching him. "So, how do you feel? Any pain other than your injuries?"
He fell silent for a moment, lost in thought. Then he turned to you with a serious expression. "Does emotional pain count?"
"It depends," you replied, sitting down and beginning to carefully unwrap the bandages to examine his wounds. "Care to tell me more about it?"
He looked at you intently, as if trying to convey the weight of his responsibility. "I know I could be tough to deal with sometimes," he said. "But I took my responsibilities as Olo'eyktan very seriously. The safety of my people was always on my mind, and sometimes that meant I had to make hard decisions. I hope you understood that."
You gave him a gentle tug on his ear and said, "First of all, those are also my people. I live among them and I help them however I can. Second, I understand that, but the truth is that a dead Olo'eyktan is good for nothing, so you need to remember this as well."
Jake smirked more to himself than to you. "There's a great truth in your words."
"You seem to forget that I have a healer's duty to keep you alive," you said with a playful smirk, checking his wound. Your fingers deftly probed the edges of the injury to ensure it was healing properly. You were relieved to find that everything seemed to be in order. Although you tried to hide it, your tail gave away your happiness at his recovery. "Looks like you're going to make it. For now, at least."
Jake noticed your tail wagging back and forth. He couldn't help but feel amused by the sight. "Looks like someone's excited," he commented with a chuckle.
You lightly tapped his shoulder. "I'm not excited, just relieved that you'll be okay. It's a normal reaction. I still think you're foolish and impulsive, just a reckless child."
Jake got up from his cot, stretching his muscles as he stood. Jake walked over to you and wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close. You could feel his warmth and the solidness of his body against yours. He nuzzled his face into your neck, his breath hot against your skin. "How long will we pretend, hmm?"
You huffed in annoyance and nuzzled him, wrapping your arms around him. "I have no idea what you're talking about, Sully," you replied with a playful grin, your expression lightening.
Without saying a word, he leaned in and brushed his lips against yours, the kiss gentle and tender.
You pulled away from him, a growl escaping your lips. "Oh, I hate you so much, Jake," you muttered before leaning in to kiss him properly this time.
For a moment, everything else faded away and it was just the two of you, lost in the sensation of the kiss. Jake felt as though he could stay like this forever, wrapped in your arms and lost in the kiss. He murmured softly in your mouth, enjoying the sweetness of your lips.
Once again, you pulled away from him and observed his face with a mocking grin. "Well, well, well. Our mighty Olo'eyktan falling for a healer. How the mighty have fallen," you teased.
Jake took a deep breath and looked into your eyes, his expression serious. "I need to tell you something," he said. "I know I can be a bit difficult to read sometimes, but I want you to know that I care about you deeply."
He took your hand in his and squeezed it tightly. "I know we've been through a lot together, and I just want you to know that I'm here for you, always. I want to be more than just your friend, if you'll have me."
You wrapped your arms around his neck. "You can be a pain in the ass sometimes, but you're easy to read. I saw everything you did and heard everything you said. I just decided not to let you win me over so easily."
"I didn't know you felt the same way," Jake said, his frown deepening. He seemed surprised by your confession, and you could see the emotions playing across his face. "But I'm glad you told me," he continued, a small smile breaking through. "I've had feelings for you for a long time, but I wasn't sure if you felt the same way." He pulled you into a tight embrace, holding you close. "I don't want to hide my feelings for you anymore," he whispered in your ear. "I want everyone to know that you're mine and that I'm yours."
You let out a soft chuckle before gently holding Jake's cheeks and turning his face to look at you. "Just so you know, I care about you deeply," you said with a small smile. "But that doesn't change the fact that, to me, you are reckless."
Jake scoffed, his expression turning sceptical. "You can't be serious," he said, crossing his arms over his chest.
Chuckling, you nodded and gave him a playful tap on the nose. "I know you're serious, but that doesn't change the fact that I like you a lot too."
As soon as Jake spotted Mo'at approaching, he moved away in a slight move.
As she entered the tent, Jake stepped aside, giving her space. He had great respect for the Tsahìk and always made sure to defer to her wisdom.
Mo'at looked around the tent, her sharp eyes taking in everything. Jake waited quietly, his posture relaxed but respectful. When she finally turned her gaze to him, he met her stare without flinching, his expression open and honest. "I somehow knew I would find you here, Y/N," said Mo'at, fixing her yellowish eyes on your face.
You turned to her and gave a soft smile. "Is everything okay? I just had to make sure that our stubborn Olo'eyktan lives to see another day."
Mo'at gave you a significant glance as she reminded you that others required your assistance.
You apologised to Jake and gave him a quick look before telling him quietly that you would be back later. After that, you left to attend to your duties, not wanting to neglect them any further and bringing Mo'at's anger on your soul.

The evening came quickly, taking his busy schedule.
He made his way back to his tent, feeling a sense of relief wash over him as he stepped inside. The air was cool and quiet, a welcome respite from the chaos of the day. Jake quickly shed his gear and settled onto his cot, stretching out his tired muscles.
As he lay there, he could hear the distant sounds of the Na'vi speaking as the eclipse was approaching. He closed his eyes, imagining the sight that would soon unfold: the sun disappearing behind Polyphemus, the sky darkening, the world falling silent.
You decided to surprise him by sneaking into his tent. Standing at the entrance, you rested your hand on your hips and looked straight at him. "Oh, look at that. My most stubborn hunter is finally lying down. I think I need to thank Eywa for this miracle."
"So, what brings you here?" Jake asked, raising his eyebrow slowly. "Not that I'm complaining, of course. I'm always happy to see you, but it's hard for me to believe you came just to check upon my wounds for you've done it earlier."
You raised an eyebrow and let out a short scoff. "I came to check up on you, but if my presence is bothersome, then I'll leave."
When you finished, he gave you a warm smile. "Oh, come on, where is your sense of humour?"
You playfully hissed and let out a deep sigh. "I'm just tired, Jake. Sorry."
He cocked his eyebrow, listening to you. "A lot of work, huh?"
"Yes, not only injured but sick as well, especially kids," you nodded, rubbing your eyes. "Am I bothering you? After all, I promised to be back."
"You're not a bother," he said, his voice calm and warm. "I'm always happy to spend time with you. I enjoy your company," he added, his eyes meeting yours. "So please, never hesitate to come see me."
You nodded once more and took a comfortable seat next to him. "How are you feeling?"
"I'm doing fine," Jake said with a small smile. "It's been tough, but I'm getting through it. How about you?"
You gently examined his injury and let out a relieved sigh. "I'm glad to hear that, but don't push yourself too hard. Rest is important for healing."
Jake got up from his cot and letting out a contented sigh, he walked over to the small table in the corner of his tent. There was a bowl of fruit sitting there, and he picked up one and took a bite. He chewed thoughtfully, savouring the sweetness, looking at you, pointing at the bowl. "Would you like some?"
"Well, I was starting to think you'd never offer. I was afraid I'd have to die here before you'd bring it up. Yes, please. I would love one."
He walked to you, his hand outstretched with the fruit resting in his palm. "Here," he said, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips. "It's one of the best fruits on Pandora, but I'm sure you know that."
“Irayo.” You took a bite of the fruit and your eyes widened in surprise. The sweetness exploded in your mouth, and you felt a burst of energy flow through your body. You couldn't help but let out a small moan of pleasure. You quickly finished the fruit, savouring every last bit, and couldn't believe you felt refreshed and rejuvenated, ready to take on anything that came your way.
Jake smirked at you as he stood by the entrance to his tent, watching the hustle and bustle of the village. He looked relaxed and content, as if he was enjoying the simple pleasures of life on Pandora. "It's a beautiful sight, isn't it?" He said, turning to you with a smile. "There's something so peaceful about watching the village like this. It's like everything else fades away and you're just left with the present moment."
"That's true," you said, walking up to him and wrapping your arms around his waist from behind to give him a hug. "These moments are priceless and so peaceful. I hope we can continue to enjoy them together."
Jake's body tensed for a moment, but then he relaxed into your embrace, tilting his head slightly to the side to rest it against yours. He took a deep breath, savouring the feel of your arms around him.
You teased him, squeezing his waist, "Someone tensed up here for a moment. Am I making you nervous?"
As you hugged Jake from behind, he turned to face you and wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you close to him. You could feel the warmth of his body and the strength of his embrace. Jake let out a contented sigh, enjoying the feeling of your touch. His hand caressed your back as he held you close, savouring the moment. "Kxawm. Or maybe not."
Your hands curiously moved up and down his belly, exploring every inch of his skin and every strong muscle beneath. "Oh, really? That's why you got so tense when I touched you?"
Jake closed his arms around you, holding you tightly as if he never wanted to let go.
With a smile on your face, you snuggled up to him, feeling pleased with your teasing attempt. "Oh, didn't you like that?"
His strong, yet gentle hands moved up and down your spine, loosening the knots that had formed there. "You okay?" he asked, concern etched on his face. Jake continued to rub your back for a few more minutes, and you felt your muscles begin to relax under his touch. Eventually, he stopped and gave you a reassuring smile. "Better?" He asked.
You relaxed, leaning comfortably against him as you let out a soft purr. His touch was indeed making you feel better, easing the tension in your sore muscles. "It seems like you can do more than just get hurt," you told him, looking up in his eyes.

Previous part
The next morning, Neteyam couldn't sit still. He never asked you for a time to meet up or if you wanted to meet up today at all. Did you want to meet up? Where would you want to meet him? Should he pick you up? Were you going to pick him up? Should he simply accompany his siblings to meet Tsireya, and you will be there waiting for him? Neteyam kept pacing in their Marui, trying to figure out how he should act. Kiri, who is not a morning person, got annoyed by her brother's restless behavior this early in the day. "Neteyam, what has gotten into you?! You have seen the outside of our Marui before, what is your problem?!" Momentarily thrown off by his sister, Neteyam stopped pacing but was unwilling to share his thoughts after her teasing last evening. "Can't you see, Nete is nervous about his date," Lo'ak smirked while wiggling his eyebrows. The accused pointed a finger at his brother and asked, "Will you stop? If you don't, I will ask Tsireya to give you more breathing exercises Mister 'your heartbeat is too fast. You need to calm down'. " A lot quieter with a purple hue on his cheeks, he added, "And it's not a date. I am just helping her like she and her siblings helped us."
When the Sully children left, Neteyam considered staying back and waiting some more, but Lo'ak called for him, "Bro, do you need an invitation or what?" Neteyam took that as his sign to simply go along and ask Tsireya in case you weren't there. At the beach, they greeted you and your sister. Tuk squeezed between Tsireya and Lo'ak to show her the new bracelet. Kiri had already gone towards the water, while Neteyam approached you. "Hey, uhm did you want to go now? Or later? Or... do you want to go today at all?" Neteyam finally voiced his questions. You were slightly caught by surprise: "I actually didn't think this through. Uhm, do you want to go now? I mean, we can go now! Uhm, should we bring them something? Do we need something?" Taken aback by your questions, Neteyam considered "Then we go now. We could bring them some treats like fish, but usually the ikrans fend for themselves, so we don't have to feed them. But if you want to learn something with your ikran, it might be helpful. We can bring some snacks for ourselves as well. I mean, it could take some time. Do you have your ikran's saddle?" You smiled brightly, mesmerizing him. He returned your smile but snapped out of it when you yanked his arm and began walking and pulling him toward the village. "Then let's go! I believe we still have some dried fish at home and there are some snacks we can easily take. My ikran still has her saddle on. The ones who lived nearby the clan kept them on, I believe." Neteyam quickly found his footing again and followed closely behind you. At your family's marui, you pulled Neteyam into the living area before you wandered off. He patiently waited for you until he heard you mumble something under your breath before crossing the room. "Ao'nung, where are the snacks? There were still plenty when I looked yesterday. Where are they?" Walking out of the room, Ao'nung tried to avoid you. "I don't know, I didn't take them! Why do you need them now anyways?" His eyes meet Neteyam. "And what is he doing here?" Neteyem set his jaw at Ao'nung's hostile tone. "Don't change the subject! And as I said yesterday, Neteyam offered to teach me more about my ikran, now where are they?!" Ao'nung's gaze went from confused to upset before he averted his gaze from Neteyam back to you, saying, "Oh, yeah, right... well, I still don't know. Ask mom!" With that, Ronal walked into the room, her eyes briefly wandering over Neteyam before focusing on both of her children. "What is the matter with you both? Ao'nung, shouldn't you be with your father? Y/N, didn't you want to spend time with your ikran?" With a sigh, Ao'nung wandered off: "Yes, I am already on my way, mother." Having her full attention now, you asked your mother the same thing as your brother before. Ronal went back into the room she came from, grabbed a bag, and packed it with the snacks before coming back out and handing it to you. She smiled kindly at you before wishing you much fun.
The way to the clearing outside the village was quiet. Once you reached your destination, you expectantly looked up at Neteyam. "Now you call your ikran and maybe tell me what troubles you." You nodded in agreement and then let out a loud call. "Right, so I think there is something with the way I fly. For a while, it seems alright, but after some time, it gets rather uncomfortable, and I feel that my ikran isn't feeling well either, but I can't figure out the problem. Also, we sometimes have trouble communicating, I guess. Well, what I mean is that she doesn't listen to me."
You explain while looking uneasy at Neteyam. All things considered, Neteyam thinks that it is unlikely that he could help you from the ground without seeing you interact in the air, but he wants to see your reactions to each other regardless. When your ikran arrives, you gently pet her and feed her some fish. Your body language is very open and friendly. Your ikran also seems very comfortable and trusting around you, so that's not it. "Hm, you seem to be trusting each other, so I think it would be best to see your behavior in the air." Neteyam calls for his ikran while watching you get up on yours. You swing yourself up and make Tsaheylu. Neteyam notices that you are sitting rather close to her neck. Neteyam's ikran arrives, and after feeding him some fish too, he mounts his as well, signing you to take off. Following your lead, Neteyam focuses on the way you fly, your movements, your behavior, and your ikran's reactions to it. After about half an hour of flying, Neteyam notices a change in your ikran's flying. Looking closely, he can see what the main issue seems to be. Your ikran gets restless, and he can see that you are uncomfortable too. Motioning for you to land, he follows your descent, landing next to you before getting off.
He gently thanks his ikran and goes over to you. You are about to get down as well, but Neteyam quickly stops you: "No wait, I think it's better if you stay there, then I can show you better." Nodding in understanding, you pat your ikran, trying to ease her distress. "Ok, you see, when you got up, I noticed that you hold yourself very close to your ikran. That alone is not a problem, but doing so is very, well, exhausting because it takes more strength than it should. Therefore, you become uncomfortable when flying. You clutch her like she's an ilu, but she isn't. You are uncomfortable because you behave like you are in the water and not the air. Your problems getting along might also come from the fact that your body language is telling her something different than your words. It's like saying you want to go right but then walking left. Your posture is also the reason she gets anxious after a while. Since the pose is uncomfortable for you, your body subconsciously tries to find an easier way to stabilize you, leading to your feet pressing down differently than they should, trying to aid your thighs. As a result, your saddle presses up against her lungs more. It's like having someone squeeze your chest when you try to run. She is simply not getting as much air as she would like." You look at Neteyam, speechless, astounished by his explanation but also sorry for your ikran. "So I hurt her?" you ask him with a scared undertone. Panic rises in Neteyam—that was not what he wanted!
"No! I mean well..., like you said, she is uncomfortable, but it shouldn't be hurting. I think." Now unsure, but trying to fix things, Neteyam intervenes. A determined look comes over your face. "How do I fix it?" Relieved Neteyam smiles "Well try to put more weight on the front of your foot and bend your knees. Her neck may be long but there is no need to stretch along it, simply sit down, especially for longer travels. Use your saddle, relax, and give her space. Keep your body upright. You don't have to become part of your ikran because the flow is not as strong in the air as it is in the water." Listening to his advice, you lean back and separate your upper body from your ikran's neck. It felt unusual, so you looked at Neteyam for feedback. He smiled a little and said: "Yes, that's a lot better. Your legs are still very tense. Try to relax them a little and adjust your feet like I said." Looking down, you turned your feet, unsure of what exactly he wanted. A small frown formed on Neteyam's face. "No wait." He gently pushed your calf into position while grabbing your thigh and pulling it back so you rest more weight on your backside than your legs. Now satisfied, he looks at you only to see your face slightly purple and flustered with your eyes locked on your leg. He followed your gaze to his hand, which was still lightly grabbing the middle of your thigh. Embarrassed, he quickly takes his hands off while trying to fight the heat creeping up his cheeks. His attempts fail miserably. "Um, yeah, like this is better." He concluds while he avoids to look at you.
You seemed to squirm, catching his attention. You looked straight ahead with an uncomfortable look on your face. Neteyam was about to apologize for making you uncomfortable when you voiced your distress: "It feels weird like this. It's very different from an ilu. I'm so used to, well, melting into the ilu that sitting so far away seems wrong." Neteyam chuckles, thinking about how it's the exact opposite for his family. Being used to ikrans, they struggle more with the close hold on the ilus. "You will get used to it, trust me. It was the same for my siblings and me when we first rode an ilu. It will take some time, and you will have to concentrate on your posture for a while, but it will become a habit in no time." Grateful for his reassuring words, you nodded at him with a small smile. "So...do you wanna try it again? Flying, I mean. It should feel different now that you are in a proper position." You nodded, and while waiting for Neteyam to get on his ikran, you fed yours another piece of fish to thank her for her patience with you.
Neteyam immediately sees how much your form has improved. Your ikran is also flying more confidently and seems to struggle a lot less. Even after half an hour, nothing changes, and you both glide delightedly through the air.
Back on the ground, you hop off of your ikran, throwing her some fish after caressing her neck gently. Turning towards Neteyam with a bright smile, you approach him, saying, "That was amazing! I could feel how much better she felt. Everything was so different! She was so fast!" Infected by your happiness, Neteyam gave his ikran some fish as well before following you to a small tree, where you sat down under its shadow to enjoy the snacks you brought. "You see, it's much better already! You are a natural, really!" Blushing at his praise, you compliment him: "Well, I couldn't have done it without you. How did you see all of that so fast?" Receiving your praise had Neteyam blushing once again. He bashfully told you that it wasn't that hard to see from the outside and that mistakes like that are harder to see yourself. You two drift off into retelling your flight and explaining the movements you made with your hands. You kept talking until both of you noticed that it was time to head back to the village.
Once in the village, you headed towards your maruis. Reaching the point where your ways would part you once again thanked Neteyam for his help. He was about to play it down once more when you pulled him into a tight hug. Overwhelmed, he carefully hugged you back while stuttering out how glad he was that he could help and that you can always ask him for more help, if you need it. A soft purr was trying to fight its way out of his chest, but he managed to contain it and save himself from further embarrassment.
Unbeknownst to both of you, the sweet moment did not go unnoticed by a pair of curious onlookers.
You let go of one another, both of you slighty blushing, as you quietly wondered "Do you think we could maybe do this again? I mean, you've already helped me a lot but you also mentioned that it's more of a habit and I can't change that habit without practice. But I wouldn't notice if I was doing it right, so..." trailing off, you looked at Neteyam with pleading eyes. How could he ever say no to that? "Yeah sure. I mean, we can and, uhm, we can also, like, fly together just for fun every now and then if you like. So- so yeah, why not?" Scratching his neck while looking around nervously, the boy noticed your delighted giggle "Yes! And I could also help you swim with the ilus. I wouldn't want you to miss out on that because of me!" Looking at your eyes once more, Neteyam nodded at you in agreement with a dopey smile on his lips. "Great! So goodbye, Neteyam! I'll see you tomorrow!" Slightly waving at one another, Neteyam kept slowly walking back. "Yea. Bye—uh, see you" with one last smile you both turned around in your respective directions and started walking.
On his way, Neteyam realized he would do whatever you would ask if that meant he would get to see you smile as brightly as you did that day. Arriving at the Sully's marui, Neteyam tried to contain his happiness to not have it ruined by his siblings. To his surprise, they weren't back yet. Only his parents were there when he walked in. Neytiri and Jake took one look at their son, seeing his dopey smile, the purple cheeks, and his tail swaying behind him in a light rhythm, they knew that he must have had quite the day. "Had fun?" Startled by his father, Neteyam looked at his parents like a deer caught in the headlights. "Yea! No! I guess... uh, it was alright, I suppose," he blushed again, making his parents chuckle with delight over their adorable son. "Well good. Dinner will be soon. Get cleaned up. Your siblings should be back any minute as well." Nodding his head, Neteyam walked off to do as he was asked.
"Like a lovesick puppy." Jake joked. "Don't tease him, ma Jake. He reminds me a lot of you, actually. Be happy for your son." Slightly insulted by his wife's accusations, Jake threw back. "I was not!" But a look from Neytiri was enough to stop the discussion. "Ok well... I am happy for him, but that doesn't mean I will let him down so easily. Remember your dad wanted to kill me when I first met him." Neytiri sighed amusingly at her mate's behavior. Before they could discuss the topic any further, their other children stumbled in giggling with each other. After greeting their parents, they also went to clean up.
During dinner, all three of his siblings kept glancing at Neteyan now and then, giggling when doing so. Lost in his thoughts, Neteyam didn't even acknowledge them until Kiri started talking to him. "So, brother, how was your day? Did anything fun happen?" His smile had faded, leaving him with a neutral expression. "We went flying just like we said. It was nice, the weather was good for flying.'' Neteyam tried to remain as calm as possible to not give his siblings any more reason to tease him. Kiri rolled her eyes and said, "Oh, you are so full of shit!" "Kiri!" Neytiri intervened. Poking Tuk in the ribs, Kiri encouraged her "tell them!" Tuk happily obliged: "We saw them, Mama! They were hugging, and Neteyem got all purple, and then he was so weird. He kept touching his neck, then he almost fell over his feet, and he couldn't talk normal, only a few words at a time. He was so weird. And Y/N was very pretty, and she was also a little purple in her face, but not as purple as Neteyam!" Embarrassed by his siblings' obvious observations, Neteyam blushed once again, trying to think of a way to escape the situation. "Yes, just like that! Although he was even more purple then." Tuk analyzed her brother's current state. The rest of the Sullys smirked in amusement. Neytiri tried to save her son by changing the subject. "And what did you do today, Tuktirey?" Happily telling her mother about everything she did that day, the attention shifted off of Neteyam. Thankful for his mother's help, he glanced up at her, giving her a small smile, which she returned.
Around chief's family, dinner was quieter, but the family also noticed their oldest child's mental absence. "So..." Tonowari started, ".. how was your day? Did flying go well?" Always the curious father, Tonowari was eager to hear about his daughter's newest interest. Startled, you looked up at him. "Oh, yeah, it was nice. Neteyam helped me a lot, actually. He is a great teacher. We talked about flying more often. To improve my skills, of course." The blush covering your cheeks did not go unnoticed by your parents. "Of course. You could teach him our ways as well. See if he is as good a student as he is a teacher." Tonowari was aware that he was teasing you, but if both of his daughters suddenly started being interested in boys, he needed to have at least a little fun. He was aware that it would happen at some point. While he was worried, like every father would be, he was happy that both you and your sister seemed interested in such brave young men. There was no doubt they were Toruk Makto's sons. Though he would prefer that they stay out of trouble a bit more. Ronal wasn't blind either, she saw her daughters' interest in the Omatikaya boys. She was wary of their demon blood, but Toruk Makto is their father and they are adapting well, so she could accept that. As long as her girls were happy, she would accept their decisions. On the other hand, Ao'nung was everything but happy. He wanted to tease both you and Tsireya for blushing so easily when around the Sully boys, but he simply couldn't understand how you could be interested in these weirdos. It was bad enough that Tsireya kept going on and on about how well they are all adapting to their new lives, always mentioning Lo'ak specifically. But now you were also praising these skxawngs endlessly. Tsireya smiled at you, having also witnessed the hug you and Neteyam shared. It pleased her greatly how calm you were that evening, since it was not unusual for you to banter with Ao'nung during dinner. Both of your siblings talked about their days. Ao'nung was visibly happier now that he could spend time with his friends again. Tonowari mentioned that Toruk Makto was progressing similarly to his children and that he was looking forward to your lesson tomorrow. At that point, you froze. You had totally forgotten that you were supposed to learn how to ride a tsurak tomorrow. Since your swimming got better again, your father expected that of you. You were not looking forward to it. While they were useful for skilled warriors, taming one required a long journey, and more often than not, a lot of bruises along the way.

Tumblr media
Na'vieh awoke the very next day, feeling more stronger as she regained more of what she missed: consciousness.
To say that she wasn't treated right by the Sully Family would be a total lie, because all while they prepared to leave the island they've been in for refuge, the family of six treated Na'vieh like she was a tired baby. Not only now, but also the few days she had spent with them. They gave her everything she possibly could ever need, even their own possessions such as cloaks and toys for her to play with, they were from Tuk.
Although, it was Neteyam who most especially treated her like she was an elderly lady who needs help doing the simplest task. She would get annoyed every now and then when he checks up on her while she sat from the far corner, dazed as she watched his family and him fumble around and clear the things used for camp, but she couldn't really blame him.
Mayhaps she had been very sickly looking that he acted like that, that's what she thought.
It wasn't like Na'vieh didn't appreciate the gesture, she just couldn't believe she would come from trying to kill the father of the family to being treated like a guest welcomed into their fortress. Thanks to Neteyam, ofc.
And now that Toruk Macto and her are now in good terms, she had fully agreed and decided on trying to seek uturu for them with the help of her clan, the Metkayina clan. Jake and Neytiri, at first, didn't know what might truly come down to her decision, but they did eventually accept.
Both parents wanted their children to be assured of safety and, and Na'vieh was their only hope in achieving that. Fortunately, she gladly took the role.
Nevertheless, even if Na'vieh basically had a hunch that her clan would accept them just as she had accepted them as kind foreigners, she had a tiny bit of doubt still laced within her decision and she worried about it just as much as Jake and Neytiri.
However, she just sighed, pushing away the thought of everything that's been going on in her head. She had a frown on her face until a familiar person called out her name with a piqued voice, and instantly, her frown had gone upside down.
"C'mon! Na'vieh, we're heading out now!" Yelled Tuktirey, smiling brightly as she tugged on Na'vieh's arms after running to her while giggling and jumping around. Behind her were Neteyam and Neytiri, both of them had big pouches laid onto their arms. Still, both mother and son smiled at her.
Na'vieh grinned seeing how excited the little girl was, she stood up from the ground and soon followed them. Neteyam walked behind her, supporting her as always with his free hand.
"Dad said we're going to your home! Aren't you excited? I can't wait to see your home!"
"Yes, Tirey, that's right." Na'vieh answered back, but she couldn't help but think repeatedly about what would happen later once she comes back, not only from disappearing for days but bringing back a bunch of forest people, who happens to be the family of the legendary Toruk rider.
She knew her adoptive mother would go batshit, and she felt thrills just by the idea of it. Who knew what they were doing now? They were probably sending countless of reef warriors to roam the whole ocean and villages just to find her, the missing precious tsakarem of Metkayina.
Though, she was stopped from imagining getting her ass whopped by Metkayina's tsahik once she felt her feet touch the warm sand, telling her that she was now stepping into the shore where the bright sunlight hit her skin and the sight of the wide vast ocean entered her vision.
"Hey, Na'vieh." Suddenly, she heard Lo'ak call out to her even as she was still being dragged by Tuk and supervised by Neteyam. "I'm just curious, can you ride an ikran?" He asked, genuinely concerned about how a reef person could possibly handle what forest people think is normal.
But Na'vieh just stared into his face and paused in realization. "You mean to ask if I can ride that... that?" She pointed her finger at the Ikran Neytiri was calming and she could feel herself sweating in sheer nervousness. A question entered her mind, the same one that Lo'ak asked. How will she ride?
"She will ride Tokma with me." Neteyam spoke up all of a sudden, surprising even Tuk who has been listening to them all along. He had a slight smile on his face as he mentioned the name of his banshee, expecting everyone to agree.
But it wasn't the case. Everyone looked at him like he had just done a backflip, even Kiri caught on to their situation and butted in.
"You're joking." Kiri suddenly popped up, giving her brother a look with a clear meaning. But it was a facial expression Na'vieh couldn't interpret, so had to look at the siblings' faces back and forth with a confused look.
"What? You don't trust me? I can assure you'll be safe if you ride with me, and I'm the only choice you have." Neteyam proved his point and ignored Kiri, and instead looked into Na'vieh's dual colored eyes as if he was begging her to believe him. But Kiri didn't take this nicely.
"What do you mean she doesn't have a choice? She'll ride with me!" Kiri gasped, grabbing ahold of Na'vieh's wrist and giving her a look that clearly showed how much she disliked her brother's idea. At this point, Na'vieh was having assumptions that Neteyam couldn't fly properly, and Neteyam could see her ideas and grabbed ahold of her other wrist, trying to pull her away from Kiri.
"Get off, Neteyam. She'll ride my Ikran!" Kiri argued, pulling away Na'vieh just as Neteyam did. Her older brother, for the first time, gave an irritated expression and talked back.
"I'm responsible for her. Besides, you talk as if you've flown your Ikran your entire life. How would I know if you're eligible enough to not drop her on accident?" Neteyam retorted, offending Kiri.
After saying such words, he expected his sister to give up already but was faced with her angry face. "Kiri, when I tell you to let her go, let her go! She will fly with me, that's that!"
"No- Don't believe what that jackass says. Na'vieh, you'll ride with me, right?" Suddenly Kiri hugged Na'vieh's shoulder and smiled ever so dearly that she couldn't help but sweat from being torn by both of them giving each other glares.
As they battled some more, with Lo'ak laughing at them and Tuk running to get her father, she just stared off to nowhere and blocked their voices. Nevertheless, Na'vieh understood that, at the end of the day, she'll have to ride with someone's banshee.
She didn't have her Ilu, after all. The last she ever even seen her Ilu, named Vito, was when she set foot on the island the Sullys were in, and she could only hope that he was back at the clan and safe.
"What's going on here?" Walking from a distance, was Jake and Neytiri. As soon as they saw the tiny commotion, the eldest of the Sullys sighed exaggeratedly and scratch his scalp. "Neteyam, why are you fighting your sister, huh?"
Suddenly, both the hands that clung onto her wrist disappeared and she could feel them tense at their father's question. She looked at Neteyam who bowed his head and apologized quietly.
"We were trying to know who would Na'vieh prefer to ride with, Dad." Kiri explained and Jake sighed, giving his eldest daughter an apologetic smile.
"Sorry, Kiri, she will ride with Neteyam. Your Ikran is... a bit small to have two riders. I worry that since Na'vieh isn't used to flying, she'd panic and who knows what could happen?" Jake patted Kiri's head and she was forced to agree, but it didn't stop her from rolling her eyes at Neteyam.
"Fine." Kiri caved in, much to her disappointment, but Na'vieh squeezed her hand in apology before she went back to grooming her Ikran. She could comprehend why exactly she was desperate, at least in her opinion, to have her ride behind her the entire journey.
"Well... Neteyam, I'll leave her to your care." Jake finally said before going back to his Ikran, Neytiri eyeing Neteyam before following her mate. His son only nodded responsibly as he was told what to do, leaving Na'vieh with him as the rest of his siblings started mounting into their Ikran.
Na'vieh took this as a chance to speak with him. Surprisingly, just as she was about to look at Neteyam, she realized that she was already looking at her. She staggered for a moment before calming herself. "So... Mind introducing me to your Ikran?"
Neteyam hid a smirk. "Thought you'd never ask."

Stolen Laughs
‘Settled on this decision, the Colonel carefully turned Spider to get a better hold on him. Unexpectedly, instead of being limp in his arms, he snuggled closer and grabbed his vest. Something told him he couldn’t set Spider down without waking him up. A memory from his previous life made its way into his mind. It was the vivid image of a couple of months old baby grabbing his dog tags with no intention of letting go. A warm feeling flooded his senses, he felt his lips curl in a smirk. Spider might be older now, but he was still his baby.’

this is roughly 2k y'all, so idk what to feel about it! reblog + likes are appreciated and not pressured, i love each and every one of you!! mwah. 20ish toruk makto!neteyam
“i’ll make it fit” — neteyam sully ver. (⨳)
you’re finally satisfied with your work, twirling around with a smile. the leaves you made as a sexy cloth that barley covered your body didn’t fail you as you feel something if you churn at the thought of greeting your mate with this
neteyam would be back by the eclipse from the war party and you just can’t wait to show him off about your new creations.
the glowing leaves allover your chest and ghosting your nipples as they reflect their light on your blue striped soft skin. and there’s a web like cloth covering you down there that clearly shows the jewels between your leg.
as the night came on, you couldn’t help but feel nervous and insecurity starts to sip in you.
what if he doesn’t like it? what if he’ll laugh at you? what if— enough! you try to focus on your breath. “it’s gonna turn out good.” you comfort yourself. your ears suddenly perk when you catch a familiar footsteps getting near and near to the hammock you share with your mate and decide to hide quickly
meanwhile you’re hidden, neteyam couldn’t keep feeling instant worries when he didn’t see you at the welcoming session. were you sick? he tried to ask your friends but they just shrugged and said they didn’t see you the whole day
neteyam admits he was pretty excited to see you and waited for you to shower him with kisses to make him feel better and less stressed but no, you weren’t even there.
it was dark when he entered the hammock and frowned, the candles were blown out and everything is neatly set. “princess?” neteyam’s voice was calculated with worries. “i’m home, where are you?”
you’re nervously shuffling from one foot to another. “baby if this is one of your jokes you know i’m tir–“ neteyam’s words get stuck when you come to view. at first he was about to load his gun but the feminine and petite body of yours appears in front of him and your man’s breath hitched at the sight of you
your braids were undone and flawlessly splayed allover your shoulders, his eyes are trained down your body and neteyam curses under his breath as his cock stirs and twitches. the valley between your chest and your two swelled breast shown under the glowing leaves you’re wearing
then his eyes go down to your hip curves and small waist and finally to your thighs that he wants to be choked with. “ma ‘teyam.” your sexy voice makes his ears flatten and he closes his eyes. “fuck princess, what’re you supposed to be doing right now?”
you shyly glance behind him then at him. your eyes widen when the equipments are harshly thrown to the side on the hammock mat and neteyam is walking to you with a burning lust in his eyes
“i’ll just tak…” neteyam’s teeth clash to yours as he shuts you up with toe curling kiss. you can’t even form a word when he’s pulling you by your cheeks and neck desperate to have more of you. you turn your head to the side to take a breath but neteyam takes the chance to leave wet kisses on your neck as he bites and licks the spot, marking you in ways that makes you sigh.
“you didn’t come to welcome me baby,” he says before pressing his forehead to yours while you two take deep breathes from the kiss you’ve shared. “i was searching for you” he slightly pouts making you guilty
“sorry baby, i had to make a welcoming present for you.” he hums with a smile plastered on his face. “this is the best gift ever.” he leans to kiss you as he bends slightly and grip onto your thighs
“jump, pretty girl.” you only giggle before jumping to your mate’s hold. he starts to kiss you and you devilishly mess with his hair. you run your hands through it and grip on his locks hard making neteyam moan into your mouth.
as your body settles to the thick mat of the hammock and neteyam pushes your legs open to settle himself in between them, you start to feel a little too insecure. “i’ve dreamt of this for so long baby, you’ve no idea.” you gulp when he continues
“having you under me, on top of me, in every fucking position with this glowing like loincloth you made allover you.” he tells you softly, his lips pressed on the corner of your lips.
you try to sit up and go along with his kiss but neteyam leans back and pushes you back to the mat, making you huff out. you’re watching every move of his when he starts to trail kisses on your chest.
“nete, jus–“
you moan when his mouth engulfs your perked nipple with his warm mouth and sucks gently. “neteyam, ma ‘teyeam…” you sigh, tiny hands returning to his locks. his other hand is holding the glowing leaves that were covering your breast out of the way before starting to massage your breast well and let your nipple roll between his fingers.
it felt so good that had you arching your back, chest pressing to his face. neteyam leaves your nipple with small ‘pop’ sound and watches how his saliva reflects to glowing leaves lights on your nipple. “stay still baby.” he shifts his attention to the other nipple and starts to slowly tug it with his teeth before putting his whole mouth onto your nipple
“oh eywa!” you sigh.
“princess?” you’re gasping when he’s on top of you and gently smiling. “i want you to touch me too, i want you to show me how i make you feel with your hands, yeah?” you’re only able to nod while your mate is fully clothed and you’re almost naked
“good girl.”
you feel him start to trail a kiss down your stomach a to your navel. once he was in front of your web like fabric that’s covering your pussy, he closes his eyes and takes a breath before using his teeth to slide off the web like loincloth from your body.
you can imagine how his erected cock is begging to be free and looking for attention.
neteyam used his hand to rip off the fabric that’s being a wall from getting what he wanted and deep growl from he chest haves when he sees your arousal creating a thin line and connected to the fabric. oh how he wanted to devour you so bad
the thing is removed from your legs and thrown to the side and neteyam presses your legs wider to see your folds slowly open and your clit throb. oh how your scent is driving him nuts. “you’re so wet.” he says and you’re about to talk before he wraps his mouth on your clit and starts to suck. hard.
“NETEYAM!” you cry out, half of your body jolting up when he tugs on your clit with his teeth. you feel him take a long sniff and moan before plunging his tongue to your hole. “oh mother,” your long moan makes his ego boost and he keeps lapping your juices
your hands are on his locks now, tugging hard and grinding him onto your pussy, but his glare was telling you he wants to drag you there by himself.
your hips risen and gets pressed down with your mate’s large palm below your navel. “let me make you cum.” was the only thing he said before ruining you. his nose grinding onto your throbbing clit while he laps your arousal clean with his tongue fucking you deep.
“ngh..!” you’re now pushing his head away but one strong hand grabs yours and throws it to the side. he’s getting frustrated when you keep pushing him away from making you happiest woman alive.
your chest having up and down was a sign to tell him you’re almost there, and neteyam grins in the middle of tongue fucking you. “that’s it baby, cum for me. cum for your ‘teyam.” and you let go.
back arched, you let go of the bubble in your stomach.
neteyam? he’s so mesmerized by your state and how you’re gushing his face had him completely bricked up right now.
neteyam crawls the mat until he’s your face level and your cheeks redden from the sight. his lips and chin is glistening from your release that shines from the light directly coming out from the moon. neteyam used his arm to wipe your arousal from his face.
he didn’t waste anytime as he unties his loincloth and throw it to the side. your inside clenches at the sight of your man’s cock as it sprang and slaps his stomach before bouncing at the freedom.
it’s veiny and you can’t help but moan when neteyam uses his own hands to bring his cock down and palm himself. “so fucking sexy you are.” he tells you as he stares to your soul, “you drive me insane, everything about you… drives me insane.” he whines when his thumb gilded over his own slit.
“shit, need to be inside you.” at his words you spread your legs wide but frown when neteyam shook his head and got out from in between your legs. “where are you going?” he wasn’t even going anywhere
your confused state follows his actions and neteyam lies beside you on his back and turns to you, tapping you thigh. “c’mere” he pulls you to him and your eyes widen understanding his request. “n-no.” you’re only ignored before you feel yourself being pulled and sat on him.
you’re now straddling him as you’re sat right above his blue throbbing cock. “you’re gonna be so deep like this” you say trying to change his mind but your words only turn him on. “mhm, it’s gonna be okay.”
“‘teyam, it won’t fit…” you persist and try to get up but neteyam pulls you down. “i’ll make it fit.” your inside clenches. “oh,” your mouth opens for a loud moan when neteyam squeezes your ass and split them for his hard and angry tip to enter you.
“swallow me just like that, fuck yeah baby.” you winch every second you welcome him inside you. it’s not like you guys haven’t had sex recently, you both did fuck yesterday morning but he’s so big you’ve to readjust him and take him well every time he fucks in to yo-
“neteyam!” you gasp out when he thrusts upward and chuckles when you slap his chest hard. “you’re so slow, princess and i told ya i need to be inside you.” you whimper when he runs his hand up to your thighs and hips then waist and grips you right there.
you feel his girth kiss the opening of your cervix and your toes curl. “that’s it baby, relax for me” you’re taking deep breath and your man feels your walls relax around him. “arch your back and ride me.” he deadpans
you nod, eyes wide and adjust yourself on top of him enough to lean and use the wooden drawer behind him as a leverage but you instantly let a sharp scream out them neteyam ruts to you up again but this time harder
“nuh-uh princess.” he licks his lips and sighs in between strangled moan. “i said back arched.” his brows are knitted and his face serious. “need you to ride me with your back arched.”
you’re about to curse him before he raise an eyebrow as a warning.
you lick your lips and decide to be a good girl by arching you back and using your hands to support you by placing them on his chest. you’re slow but start to move your hips and neteyam nods while moaning
“yeah that’s it my girl, fuck me just like that.” you can’t even say a word at his praising that are like a pat on your head. your unintentional clench only pushes him to the edge every time you’re moving on top of him.
“you’re so tight.” he tells you with a breathless moan as you raise up and kneel before sinking down his length. “mhm,” you both moan. you’re shuddering above him with every move you make and you try to lean in to him.
“back arched, fuck me back arched princess” he repeats, he’s so gonna be the death of you.
you’re too unfocused to hear him and eventually lean. “fucking little brat.” neteyam hisses before bringing his body up and kneeling as you’re sat on his strong thighs while he’s inside you
you feel him bring both of your hands to your back and holds them both with one hand while the other lands on your waist and pushes you to his chest. you’re now bent in half, breast pressed to him and hands held behind you
you close your eyes tight when you feel neteyam so much deeper than before and you’re sure you can feel your tummy bulged out with his cock like that.
“look at me.”
you didn’t think twice before opening your yellow eyes and look straight to his. “not gonna tell you again or imma have to break you alright?” his tone is serious. “you ride me with your back arched got it?” you’re awfully silent but yelp as he tugs your hands that’s behind you
“yes!” you gasp but he wasn’t buying your whining self. “yes what?” he huffs “yes! yes sir” your forehead is sweating and you let a relieved sigh out when he loosens his grip on yours but doesn’t completely lets you go
with your back arched, you start to bounce on his dick and hear him mutter sweet nothings to your ear. “ma ‘teyam”, you’re whimpering at this point, tears threatening to fall.
you moan while neteyam leans and boldly licks your mouth and starts to thrust, wildly moving his hips. “n-no wait don’t move!”
you’re trying to free your hand to push him away but neteyam only tightens his hands on your small ones. “trying to escape now, are we?” his chest roars with a chuckle. “you think i’ll let you go right after you greet me with that slutty cloth of yours?” you feel him nudge your nose with his.
“mhm?” you shake your head, “no s-sir…oh mother eywa!” you keep gasping for air while neteyam keeps kissing you. you try to turn your face away from him but his one hand comes to grip your jaw at a place. “stop turning away from my love to you.” he’s so romantic yet wicked.
neteyam ruts to you while ruining you and he leans back to see where you both are connected, your skin slapping and squelching sound helps him get near his orgasm. with one last look at your face, neteyam sucks onto his own mouth and collect a glob of spit
you’re whining messy when his spit directly hits your exposed clit, “ma ‘teyam...” you cry out and by the sound you’re letting out and your erratic movement he knew you’re close
“let it out, baby.” he smiles as he fucks into you. “cum for me” you wanted to tell him at least to stop when you’re cumming but his tortures can’t even let you think of a word, your brain is completely mushed.
you gush out on his cock and neteyam throws his head back when he feels you milk him good. “oh fuck fuck fuck i’m close.”
you watch him with blurry eyes and black dots covering your vision as your body keeps jolting.
“tell me you love me baby.” his harsh breath hits your lips when he pressed his forehead against yours. “tell me you love me so fucking much hm?”
“i- i lov…i love you” you’re gasping for air and neteyam closes his eyes a happy smile stretching his lips. “i love you more, i love you so fucking much” you feel his hand that was holding your hand being you let’s you go and you instantly wrap your hands on his neck
“‘m sorry i hurt you princess.” neteyam says, tucking your hair behind your ear and you just nod too tired to talk back. “i’m gonna cum” his eyes flatten and he whispers. “cum for me” you tell him and he obeys
it was his last push when you said that word and neteyam shoots ropes of cum inside you. “you’re tiny and adorable when you struggle against me” he growls trying to recover from his orgasm
“and you looked beautiful tonight.” you giggle and shy yourself away from him. “hm, no look at me when i tell you how amazing you’re.” he kisses your nose.
“i love you” he whispers still inside you. “i love you too.” you kiss him.
neteyam rolls his eyes at your confession, “don’t say ‘too’ it feels like you’re just agreeing with me to feel good.” he’s so dramatic sometimes, “fine, i love you more.” neteyam suddenly gives you a hard thrust and you whine. “‘teyam i’m sore!” you tell him
“hm, sorry but i love you most and you know that.”
you don’t fight back at this point, you just agree and tell him to clean you up and go to bed.
sprinkles pandora’s holy water on y’all thirsty bitches out there who’s twinning with me 👯‍♂️

The elders told the clans that the sons of Eywa were born with unique peculiarities and abilities, sent to the clans to bring wisdom and prosperity. Therefore, these newborns were raised alongside the Tsahìk, so as never to lose their bond with the Great Mother.
The day your mother announced her pregnancy to the Metkayina clan was a joyful day, the clan congratulated her and blessed her maternal womb, knowing all the pitfalls she had been through and for her unfortunate infertility. Ronal was the most joyous, knowing that her sister had waited so many cycles before having you. You were a miracle, the whole clan thought that when they saw your mother, thinking that Eywa had blessed her for her infinite goodness.
Nine months later you were born in the water, because Tsahìk had a vision of your birth in the gentle waves of the ocean that surrounded the island of Awa'atlu. Unfortunately, like the sea, your mother’s labor was stormy, leading Ronal to think that she could not give birth to you.
"Sister, you’re losing a lot of blood… The only way is to save only one of you" Ronal said in tears, as he found a way to save both. "If you keep pushing, you’ll tear your body apart, ma Sorewn-" your mother stopped her before she screamed in pain. "My baby… Save.her!" She said with all her strength in her body as she squeezed her sister’s hand, looking at her displeased as the water seemed so icy around her and the sand so rough. After minutes that seemed like hours, you came to light, the warm waters welcomed your warm body that reflected the colors of the eclipse.
"Is she okay? Ronal… is my daughter okay?" These were the desperate worries of a mother who was giving her life to give it to her daughter. "She’s fine, ma tsmuke…" Ronal whispered with sadness, knowing that soon her only sister would be gone.
Your mother looked for your body, clutching it weakly as she looked at you with love "y/n… This is her name, sweet breeze… and moonlight, she’s beautiful, isn’t she…?" Sorewn died shortly after uttering, dropping her lifeless body on the sand, but holding your little body still warm, as if she wanted to protect you until her last breath.
Ronal’s screams were desperate as she took you flickering from your mother’s cold arms, allowing herself to cry on her body, knowing that her only sister would never wake up from that eternal sleep again.
The day of your birth was less joyful than the day when your mother’s pregnancy became known, even though the slight joy of knowing that the firstborn of the sister of the Tsahìk was alive and well. But the emotion and joy of the clan ceased to exist when people saw you, the white skin like pearls that were at sea, but associated with the typical complexion of the sky demons.
"She’s cursed," "a demon…", "Look at her skin." Similar murmurs struck the mourning Tsahik’s ears, who in response growled against the clan, silencing them as she continued her walk to her Mauri.
From that day on, nineteen years passed, Ronal raised you as her daughter, never stopping to talk about how much your mother loved you and how you were blessed by Eywa despite your white skin, loving you in the way Sorewn would. Your aunt often told you that you were special, that there were other people like you and it was the Great Mother herself who sent you, trying not to make you feel different from others.
Unfortunately, the sweet words of the Tsahìk didn’t help much, especially because of the children of the clan they used to tease and bully you when you were still a child, not stopping even when you grew up. "Daughter of demons", "Demon", "Cursed Blood" that’s what they told you, and slowly you began to identify yourself in the same way.
The only friends you had were Ao'Nung, Tsireya and Rotxo, the first two because they grew up together with you, while Rotxo respected Ao'Nung and your family too much to offend you, so he became attached like a brother. Ao'Nung and Rotxo often found themselves defending you from the village boys, and Tsireya did the same with the girls, even though she was younger than you.
You were often teased because of your sensitivity to the sun, caused by your albino skin, and because you could only get out after the eclipse, raising suspicions and rumors that you were really something like sky demons. For this reason you spent your days in the marui, distancing yourself from the world that seemed not to want to accept you, hiding you from evil languages and from those who just wanted to hurt you.
It was a morning like any other on the island of Awa'atlu, the two suns that blessed the beaches with their warmth, the children who rejoiced and ran to feed the Ilus, the screams of fishermen and hunters who called to bring the fish to the clan. But you didn’t participate in such activities, your task was to follow the Tsahìk and help her in everything she did, you were not the Tsakarem, but you were always told that you were special, that your connection with Eywa is stronger than any other. Therefore, just like today, your days took place inside the Marui of Ronal, while you helped her with some herbs and medicines that might have been useful.
The tranquility of the village was interrupted by some strange screams of call, and strong steps running on the sand to head to what was 'the entrance' of the clan, you heard some tribal screams and curiosity pervaded you.
"Ma parultysip, what’s going on?" asked Ronal, rising from the ground, to approach you who had looked at the door.
"Ma Tsahìk! Be careful, you are still in the first cycle of pregnancy…" yYou said, stand by the door, then walk up to Ronal and accompany her. " Foreigners… They arrived with Ikran from the sky" You didn’t finish talking that the matriarch rushed right where the foreigners had landed. You followed her both out of curiosity and to take care of her.
Once you arrived at the place, Ronal made room in the crowd that opened around her, you found Tonowari already standing to welcome the strange blue-skinned Na'vi. In the distance you noticed Tsireya, Ao'Nung and Rotxo, and you tried to understand the situation as you looked at them, Tsireya’s eyes made you realize that she was at least as unaware as you. Your eyes were immediately captured by those of one of the newly arrived boys, his eyes yellow as the suns, with some green reflection, long braided hair, a confident headshell and a body hard to miss. You also noticed the battle band wrapping around his abdomen, letting you know he was definitely a warrior. You were out of breath for a few seconds while you were studying him from afar, noticing that he also did not look away from you, intrigued by something, perhaps even enchanted. Your heart started beating faster, almost out of control. The butterflies in your stomach woke up, creating a strong tingling that spread into your body. The cheeks that were colored with a tender blush, betraying your expression.
You hid in the crowd, feeling insecure for a moment, thinking that that boy was looking at you because of the color of your skin and hair so different from others. Only to disappear because of the sun’s rays that were burning your sensitive skin, while Neteyam was looking for you with his eyes, trying to figure out where you had gone, fearing he had put you in awe.
The day passed quickly and you never saw that boy again, yet you knew that both he and his family would stay on the island, and that gave you a strange sense of comfort.
"Y/n! Y/n! You had to come with us to help the newcomers. Their children are very kind indeed and-" Tsireya said once she joined the part of the marui that she shared with you, still sticking to the main marui of the family.
"And? Let me guess, you like the younger one?" You joked, then noticed her blush and embarrassment as she hid behind her curly hair. "Oh ma Eywa… do you like the blue guy!?" You said laughing and then feeling Tsireya’s body on yours, trying to shut you up while you laughed.
"Y-y/n! Stop it! I-I" You stopped her still laughing. "C'mon, Tsireya, you’re 18, it’s normal to have a crush. Don’t think I didn’t see the way you looked at each other, his 'hey' and your chuckle. It was so obvious" She looked at you red again and then laughed with you.
"I was so obvious?" she asked, sitting next to you on the carpet. "Too obvious, ma tsmuke" replied smiling and then hearing everything she had to say about that strange family, assimilating all that information as she spoke with dreamy eyes.
"Oh, and I’ll be teaching the Sullys, the younger ones, of course… along with Rotxo and Aonung, but they don’t like the idea like I do. You should help me, those two idiots would be able to ruin everything and fight with them" You watched her take your hands.
"Oh… I-I don’t think that’s a good idea, I mean… No. I have to be with Ronal, plus-"
"You’re afraid they’ll criticize you for your skin, aren’t you?" she interrupted, understanding where your fear and insecurity were. "They don’t seem like the kind of people who would. You know, Neteyam and Lo'ak said that Kiri is a bit like you too, she is also connected to Eywa" you looked at her slightly uncertain and then heard the name of that 'Neteyam' echoing in your head with some interest.
"Neteyam?" you asked more about this person’s name than her whole sentence. You knew Lo'ak was that kind of Tsireya's crush, so if the math was right, Neteyam must have been the guy you made eye contact with.
"Yeah, he’s the biggest Sully, maybe you saw him. He was the one with the warrior belt and the purple loincloth… Long hair, tall, you know, right? The one who looked down at Ronal while she caught Lo'ak’s tail and hands" you blushed slightly and nodded, only whispering a subtle "Oh… yes, maybe I understood"
Tsireya looked at you weirdly and then looked at you surprised and smiled with emotion. "Oh! DO you like him?" She cheered, making you blush in the same way you did with her. "N-No! It was an 'Oh' to say 'Yes, I get it'. I mean, you get it. Not an 'Oh… that na'vi with hypnotic eyes', you know?" You started stammering and scrambling to escape that. "You never said 'oh' like that and then 'hypnotic eyes'. I'm screaming! You’re so clumsy now" Continued Tsireya, teasing you, then stopping when you close her mouth with your hand. "Think of Lo'ak! Girl, he rizzed you with an 'hey' and a smirk" you had taken it down playfully, just to change the speech. You continued on the same line until you fell asleep.
The next morning you woke up without Tsireya, realizing that she had definitely gone to give lessons to the newcomers, while you spent time with the Tsahìk, peeping every once in a while from the window of your aunt’s Mauri. "Y/n, focus" Ronal said, bringing your attention to her, "Yes, sorry, auntie" you whispered, and then you concentrated and watched her handle some medicines.
After a few hours you remained alone in the marui, since Ronal had to leave for commitments with Tonowari. Unfortunately, when you came to the window again, the boys were gone, so you dedicated yourself to classifying and arranging the herbs you had used for the lesson with the Tsahìk. Now that Tsireya was busy teaching the young Sullys, the lessons with Ronal had become heavier and more boring.
"Umh… is it allowed?" an strong unknown voice made you wince while you were behind, then turn around and see the guy from the day before. 'Neteyam', you remembered the name and looked at it while keeping your distance.
"Umh… yes, yes. If you were looking for the Tsahìk, she just left" Your voice was almost a whisper, because of your shyness.
"Oh, I understand. Emh, well, it’s because I needed something for superficial wounds." His voice was at least as warm as Pandora’s suns. He smiled at you slightly and you noticed the split lip leaking blood, and some scratches on his chest and bruises on his face.
"I’m just a student, but I-I could do something… sit there." You pointed to the carpet lying on the ground, and then you turned around and took some herbs to make something like a ointment. You felt his eyes on you the whole time, and you felt slightly uncomfortable, sure he had something to say about how you looked. You started mixing and grinding herbs with some liquid plant extracts, trying not to make you weigh his curious eyes. Not knowing he was admiring you enchanted.
"I am Neteyam anyway…" he began, interrupting the silence, trying to put you at ease.while his head leaned to the side to look for your look
"I know, you are the firstborn of the Toruk Makto and Neytiri of the Omatikaya clan" you whispered again with a thread of voice, without looking at him. " Your father’s title is great, all the clans know him…" continued you, hoping not to seem strange.
"Yeah, it is… What’s your name?" he asked as she approached, stopping when she noticed you drifted away slightly.
"Y/n. just y/n" You answered and then looked at him for a second, before you approached him cleaning the dried blood with a cloth, and then put the natural ointment on his wounds, feeling him wince slightly. "I'm sorry, it burns a little, it has some nettle plants inside it" Your heart began to beat more and more in your chest, noticing how his eyes did not fit even for a second from your face. He wasn’t looking at you like the other kids did, they were sincere and innocent eyes, slightly curious but definitely without malice.
"y/n? is a beautiful name, does it mean anything?" he asked curiously, lowering his voice just like you did.
"Gentle breeze and moonlight, so I've been told." You continued to whisper as you applied the ointment to his lip, keeping your eyes fixed on his lips, finding them strangely inviting.
"It’s definitely a name that suits you," he whispered, making you blush slightly before leaving.
"Why are you whispering…?" you asked to change the subject, trying to cool the fire that was happening on your pale cheeks.
"Because you do, too, I don’t want to make you uncomfortable with my tone of voice being too loud, so I turn it down" he said sincerely, as his eyes continued to explore your whole person.
"O-oh… no need to do it, i-it’s just my tone," you admitted a little embarrassed.
"Can I tell you something?" he asked nicely, always keeping his tone down, noting how you felt a little more comfortable with him.
"Umh, sure, tell me so" you wiped your dirty fingers from the ointment you just put on his torn skin.
"It’s just… well, your skin is-" you stiffened to those words, moving even further away from him as you stopped him from saying anything else.
"I know what you’re going to say… please, can you leave? I finished with the ointment, you should be better in a short time" your voice let shine a veil of fear and discomfort, making him feel a total idiot for having started talking.
"No, it’s nothing bad, i swear… your skin is beautiful, you are beautiful. I mean… ah!" He passed a hand in his hair, embarrassed to feel so clumsy right now. "I mean… you’re very beautiful, that’s…" he whispered in an even lower tone, making you blush.
You looked at Neteyam with flaming cheeks, while your hands were joined at heart level, observing him in silence. 'Does he find me… beautiful?' you asked yourself in your mind.
Your heart bounced through your chest as the boy’s kind words rang out in your incredulous ears. The insecurity that you always felt about your skin and appearance seemed to fade away for a moment, and a shy smile spread across your lips. That insecurity, however, gave way to a strange emotion: joy. A spark of happiness crossed your face for the first time, and his eyes lit up. You felt a feeling of warmth spreading through your chest, as if your heart was about to explode with gratitude. You felt seen and appreciated, and that created an intimate bond with the guy who gave you that unexpected compliment.
"Oh…" you whispered, finding no other words. Your mind began to sow doubts, making you wonder if the boy is serious or if it is just a way to joke, just as other had done in the past. The fear of being teased or misunderstood the boy’s intentions made its way into your mind, momentarily clouding the joy you felt. This Neteyam noticed it because of that light that went out with the same speed as it went on.
"Sorry… I’m just not good with words. But I think you’re really very beautiful, but I think that’s something everyone tells you, so you probably think I'm just one of many idiots… Then I go, I don’t want to make you feel any more uncomfortable than I have already done" Neteyam smiled at you shyly as he stood up to leave as you had asked him.
"N-no… they don’t tell me often." You whispered before you stopped him by taking his wrist. He turned to look you in the eye, smiling slightly as he felt your soft touch around his skin.
"Uh no? Too bad, you are the most beautiful Na'vi I have seen so far" you swallowed to his words and smiled shyly, feeling again warmth on the cheeks. You took your hand off his wrist and handed him a small jar covered with a cloth that served as a lid. "Use it before going to sleep and in the morning, it should accelerate the healing process of the wounds" He smiled noticing the shy smile you had made him and carefully took the vase from your hands.
"Thank you-" Before he could finish the sentence, Ao'Nung and Rotxo also entered the Mauri, who were in a bad way, worse than Neteyam.
"What… did you fight each other? Again?" you supposed, approaching Rotxo touching his face, slightly stroking his broken and bleeding cheekbone, passing your hand over his chest. Neteyam looked at you feeling a sense of jealousy being born in him, not yet knowing that Rotxo was just a close family friend, and that you saw him as a brother.
The boy began to talk with your cousin, being silenced immediately thanks to a nod of your hand, making him understand that they had to shut up. "Not a word. Sit there, right now." you said with a slightly more authoritative voice, making the two boys sit down. Neteyam looked at you mesmerized for a second and then took leave with a formal greeting that you reciprocated.
From that first encounter your life was in love crossed with that of Neteyam, he became your good friend and began to discover every little part of you, always interested. He knew you couldn’t stay in the sun too much and often asked you out for a walk or a swim when the eclipse was already in phase, and when he saw you during the sunny hours, he always tried to find a place in the shade for you. If you were sunburning your skin, he had learned to apply a ointment that Ronal always kept available in case the children or you needed it. He knew that your eyesight was poor because of albinism and that you were particularly sensitive to the great sources of light, and even in this case he made sure to shade you with his hands. In addition to these small things that inevitably led you to have a crush on him, the thing that unfortunately led you to spend more time together was the fact that you never back down to fight with anyone who offended you or teased you, therefore it had become a secure presence in the Tsahìk’s Marui.
During that day’s eclipse, as was increasingly the case, Neteyam looked out the window of your part of the marui. "Pss. Ma Oare, do you want to take a ride to the beach?" he asked you gently, making you wince with fright. "Ma 'teyam, one day you’ll make me die doing this" you said, blushing, making him laugh playfully. "I missed you, today I didn’t see you at all" his tragic voice made you laugh innocently, while hiding your smile with your fingers.
"But if you came to pick up Tsireya here this morning, and I greeted you." You replied, still laughing, while Neteyam made sweet eyes at you, not knowing that behind these same eyes there was a deep enchantment for you.
"It’s not the same, come on. Just an hour, then I promise to let you go." He gave you his hand, inviting you to follow him.
"You always say that and then I come home at dawn or when the stars almost finish their cycle with the moons." He laughed at your words nodding, knowing it was true.
"I promise, if you want to go home, I’ll bring you back myself. Just for today, please, ma Oare." You looked him in the eye for a few seconds, before smiling gently and nodding.
"Just because I want to collect new shells, not for you." To your words he smiled, content to be just a walking companion for you.
He waited for you outside the marui, giving you time to change and settle, knowing how insecure you were about your appearance. What you didn’t know was that he always found you charming and perfect, no matter what your hair or clothes were like that day, his eyes in love would always be enchanted by you. When you came down from your home, he was stunned, watching you without speaking, taking some deep breaths before blushing slightly and scratching his neck.
"What’s wrong? Are you okay?" you asked Neteyam, laughing, as you approached him, holding the small bag you used when you went to collect objects or herbs.
Then you start walking towards the beach, while you pick up some shells and beads that were on the shore or in the still warm sand. Neteyam undertook to look for the most beautiful objects to give to you, knowing that your eyesight was not very good and perhaps you would not notice them, inspecting the most perfect shells and the brightest and most colorful beads. He usually hated doing these things, categorically avoiding accompanying his beloved sister Tuk to collect items for jewelry, following her only when she was about to cry or when his sense of elder brother was turned on and worried about the safety of little Tuktirey.
With you was different, he was content to help you and follow you, really trying to find only the best and then give it to you, because he loved to see your shy smile when you saw the small objects he brought you.
Neteyam remained silent, picking up some shells behind you, watching you from time to time, and then finding you both sitting exhausted on wet sand. You soaked your feet in water as you squinted your eyes and bent your head back to watch the sky greet the end of the eclipse, taking long deep breaths, not noticing Neteyam’s eyes on you.
In his eyes, one could perceive a deep admiration. Observe your features with a mixture of awe and respect, while you look up at the stars, reflecting their own light on your skin. He saw your inner and outer beauty, silently loving everything you did; recording in his mind every detail, even the smallest, making it the main object of his attention, as if he wanted to imprint it in his memory. If only you had looked at him, you would have understood how much love he wanted to give you, if only you had understood that his attentions were not only in friendship, the way he took care of you and protected you, all because he had a deep interest in you.
There was also a touch of desire in his eyes, and he was slightly ashamed of that, because he saw you as a pure being. His eyes moved on you with a slight intensity, as if he wanted to discover every aspect of you, even the most hidden, where you hid your desires. His looks lingered on your lips while you were breathing, your eyes turned to the sea or the stars, or any part of you that fascinated him. It was a kind desire, born from the desire to know and approach a person like you that makes his heart beat. He cursed himself when his thoughts were lost in thinking about how nice it would be to have you, to feel your warm skin shaped by his fingers, your whimpers, whiny breaths, and your lips that seemed ever more soft and inviting.
However, the boy made an effort to hide his emotions, keeping a discreet and respectful look at you, because you deserved to be respected. And when your eyes met his, it might seem like he was just looking at randomly, with no particular interest, but underneath that mask was a whirlwind of feelings that kept him awake at night.
"Your father is from one of those stars, isn’t he?" you asked, pointing at some stars that shone less than others. Neteyam’s hand met yours and moved it to a blue star, slightly blurry.
"There, my father comes from there. It’s called earth, it’s a planet like Jupiter, not a star, ma oare." He said, smiling softly, while his hand remained wrapped towards yours, to show you the exact spot of that planet. You looked away from him to the point he was pointing with your hand.
"Earth… what a strange name" you whispered, slightly laughing, observing the strange planet. " Blue? Does that mean it’s full of water, 'Teyam?"
"My father says that once upon a time there were great forests, like those of the Omatikaya clan, but the people of the earth destroyed everything, letting the land die and be covered with water. It is now filled with large iron structures above sea level" he replied, not looking away from your face, noting your slightly glassy eyes.
"Once upon a time? Why would those people do that to their Mother? Eywa would cry if she knew that one of her sisters was treated this way." Your voice was bitter and you tried not to cry at the thought of constructions that replaced the beautiful forests and went to ruin marine life in that way.
Neteyam looked at you with a soft smile, you were so beautiful when you became emotional about things like that, they showed him even more how beautiful and pure your soul was. "Ma oare, don’t think about it. Unfortunately it’s another culture, they didn’t have the same connection that we have with Eywa. For that matter, they all spoke different languages and often fought each other. There is no peace in their soul, because they never approached their Great Mother" You leaned on his shoulder, nodding as he gently stroked your white hair.
"I don’t even want to imagine all that pain… it’s good that your father found peace between us" you whispered, only to feel the little shiver that ran through Neteyam’s skin when you leaned on him.
"Don’t imagine it, think that you live in a place where the Great Mother sees us and protects us…and that you are one of her favorite" he said, as he wrapped an arm around your body, sighing with relief in silence, realizing that you didn’t mind his touch.
Your eyes suddenly stared at him with a fascinating curiosity, as if they wanted to discover every detail of his being. The look was tender, intense and deep, despite being shy and lascivious. All the sun you couldn't take for obvious reasons, he imprisoned it and brought it to you, warming your heart and all your body, cheering up even your darkest days. Despite the great crush on him, you hid your feelings, keeping your eyes discreet and delicate, trying not to reveal too much your true feelings for fear of being misunderstood or rejected even by the only person who understood you so deeply. Whenever your gaze fell on him, you did so with an intense desire to make him understand how special he is to you, hoping to be reciprocated.
Unwittingly you were both waiting for each other, hoping that one of you would come forward first, sharing the same fear. But Neteyam’s heart was beginning to weigh more, after all those months of repressing every single feeling outside of friendship, convinced that you were destined to Rotxo.
"Y/n… May I ask you something?" Neteyam asked suddenly, drawing your attention. You nodded kindly, waiting for his question. "I’ve been here for months, and all the young Na'vi have mated with their mates, I was wondering when you would do it with…Rotxo" An innocent laugh ran from your lips, making your nose curl, while Neteyam watched you not understanding the reason for your laugh.
"Oh, ma Eywa… what makes you think I’ll mate with Rotxo?" you asked with tears in your eyes, caused by loud laughter.
"Well… I-I mean, I’ve seen you guys together all the time, during the meetings at the bonfire he is always near you, plus he brings you food and follows you around… Spending time in the marui where you spend your time" he replied embarrassed as he looked away.
"Yes, because his mother was my mother’s best friend, we grew up together. He is a brother to me, he does what Ao'Nung also does, he takes care of me but we are not paired. For Eywa's sake" Your voice was still amused, not knowing that in the same tone you brought the hope he needed. "Rotxo have a crush on Kiri, don’t you see him looking at her or buzzing around her? It just seemed so obvious. I’m not paired with anyone, my skin is cursed, it scares. The clan thinks I’m descended from one of the sky demons." You whispered as your tone went from amused to sad. You leaned against him again, to avoid his gaze. "I am not a good match for anyone, besides with all my problems inherent in my sensitivity to the sun, people increase rumors about my birth. My mother died in childbirth because of me, while my father ran away immediately after seeing me for the first time." You sighed sadly and then put on a fake smile when you noticed Neteyam’s eyes sorry for you. "Don’t look at me like that. The tsahìk says that I am descended from Eywa herself, so I will give my life to her, no matter if I am not paired. It’s a good thing, I’ll be a woman free from any restraint," you tried to cheer him up, despite your eyes pointing down with a little sadness...?
Neteyam laid a finger under your chin, gently lifting your face, bringing your eyes together "Y/n, listen to me… You are beautiful, full of light both inside and out. Your skin is not cursed, don't think it even for a moment. It's shining just like you, isn’t there one thing about you that might be vaguely similar to that of the sky demons. Ma Eywa… but have you seen yourself? You’re unique, radiant, just perfect. Only a fool would not want to mate with you, they're blind because you are dressed in stars, under your skin the moon lives, believe me, ma oare. You are pure light" Your eyes were enchanted and chained to his, unable to speak. "They should be grateful that Eywa blessed them by sending one of her stars to walk among us. Why can’t you see how damn beautiful you are? You’re so intoxicated with those fake words you can’t even see… Why can’t you see how I fall apart when you look at me with those eyes? Don’t you feel my heart losing beats every time you smile or laugh? Don’t you understand how you can mesmerize me with every single thing you do? Ma Eywa, I would give anything even what I don’t have, just to have you… Can’t you see how much I’m in love with you…?" His loving gaze was a mix of sweetness, desire, adoration and frustration, a subtle invitation to discover and reciprocate those feelings that had come out without him wanting it. Didn’t realize he’d just confessed.
You had spent days and nights fantasizing about possibilities, dreaming about the moment when he would finally find the courage to open up, or when you would. And now, that long-awaited moment had come. Your heart pounded as you listened to the words coming out of the lips of the Na'vi you liked.
A myriad of emotions poured into you like an overwhelming wave. Initially, the surprise took over, as the confidence of the boy had exceeded all expectations, noticing only after the fact that he was not done it on purpose. Then, like a fire that lights up slowly, the euphoria spread into your being. You could not help but smile, feeling an indescribable joy pervade you. Finally, the confirmation that Neteyam had feelings for you, that they weren’t just dreams for you, that your feelings were reciprocated, was a tangible reality now. That uncertainty that tormented you had been dispelled, leaving room for an unprecedented feeling of happiness.
"Neteyam…" you whispered without a voice, and then you saw his jaw stretched out, because he felt like an idiot for saying that.
"Y/n. I-" his voice was full of insecurities, but you could silence him by pressing your lips on his. When your lips touched, a shiver of emotion went through both of you. The feeling was electric, intense and extraordinarily sweet. Before you completely surrender to the kiss, forgetting all that was surrounding you at that moment. Your hands, uncertain before, intertwined gently, seeking support and confirmation of the authenticity of that moment. As your bodies drew closer, they could hear each other’s heartbeats in tune with their own. The fingers of your free hand lay timidly on his neck, while his around your waist. His tail intertwined with yours, wrapping it gently.
Time seemed to suspend, and every other worry or doubt vanished into the irresistible and desperate kiss. The lips moved with grace and passion, needing to be consumed, exploring the unknown and revealing an attraction that had always burned beneath the surface of 'friendship'.
"I waited so long for this…" you whispered, once detached from the kiss, still feeling Neteyam’s warm arm around your body. You looked into each other’s eyes, smiling with dignity, knowing that from that moment on you would walk together, hand in hand, towards a future they had only dared to dream of in their own little.
"I thought you weren’t interested…" You two said at the same time, and then looked at yourself with a mix of shock and disbelief. " I was sending you signals" "I was so obvious!" you said together again, laughing at the synchronized timing.
"Signs? You did not send me signals, and if you did, they were confused, ma Oare," said Neteyam, stroking your hair and moving a lock of hair behind your ear.
"Me? Mixed signals? You weren’t obvious at all. I thought it was just affection, just like with Tsireya, ma 'Teyam." You whispered shyly, before looking down and feeling his finger under your chin again that made you raise your head.
"Y/n, really? Why do you think I took so much care of you? I’ve liked you since day one, ever since I saw you in the crowd, emanating that beautiful light that represents you" He said, looking at you gently, touching your noses. "And all those compliments… Do all the things you asked me to, to accompany you everywhere, I was making you understand that I was choosing you" You blushed, curling your nose.
"Why didn’t you tell me before?" he laughed softly at your question.
"I thought you were paired with Rotxo, and I was afraid I wasn’t to your taste. It would have been enough just to be your friend, if it had been so. But the fact that you belittle yourself and say you’ll never find a partner makes my blood boil again. Because I am here, waiting for you to see me…" his hand slipped on the back of your neck and approached you again to him. "…that you choose me" he whispered on your lips, as his eyes peered at you.
"I-I’ve already chosen you… and I was hoping you’d choose me" you said, whispering, loving that he didn’t use the same tone he used with others with you. Remembering you hated loud noises because of hearing sensitivity.
"I see you, ma Oare," he said, stroking the back of your head. "I see you, ma 'Teeyam" you replied gently. Your eyes stuck on his and then you join again in a kiss.
This time it was more passionate, more carnal. His fingers dug into your skin, feeling your warmth and appropriating your soft flesh as he pulled you over his legs. Shudder at the direct contact with his skin, placing your hands on his neck, clinging to him like a life saver in the middle of the ocean. Neteyam’s tail, though slimmer than yours, wrapped yours with impressive ease, locking it against the sand, making you squeak into his mouth.
Your hands went down his chest, colliding with his sculpted body just as the waves were crashing into the banks around you. You pushed your tongue into his mouth, feeling the need to feel more, to get more out of him. He hoarsely panted inside your mouth, making you smile as you collided your pelvis with his, crawling with little innocence your body on him.
"Ma Eywa… If you keep this up, I don’t know if I can control myself, ma Yawne," he said in an exasperated voice when the kiss stopped.
"I don’t want you to control yourself, 'Teyam… I want to feel you" you bent over his ear to whisper those words, making him more excited than he thought. The way he had imagined this scenario was slightly different, thinking that you were chaste, pure and innocent, but now you were revealing yourself quite differently. A hidden part of you that only he would ever see, and that turned him on.
Neteyam turned his face towards you, again meeting your eyes with curiosity. He bit his lip when he noticed your eyes full of desire. "Hmhm, not here… It’s not the right place, ma yawne." He said first to drop his gaze on your lips and then down to your collarbones, passing his tongue on his lip.
"I want you now, 'Teyam… so much" Your words were needy and eager, you whined before approaching his neck, leaving some kisses and hickeys on the boy’s sensitive skin, making him grunt for pleasure.
Neteyam shivered when you broke away from him, enjoying the sensation of your saliva on his neck. Your pelvis collided again with his, swinging back and forth over his covered intimacy, feeling already so wet and in need of him. "Ma yawne…" he sighed frustrated as his head bent backwards.
The boy’s hands ended up behind his body, supporting his body thanks to the support on the sand, unbalancing himself backwards and contracting his muscles. Your hand landed on his chest, arched your back to press your chest against the boy’s. "Don’t you want me?" You whispered as your lips began a path down his chest, causing him chills. You were tempting him, and he knew it, but he was trying to resist you because he wanted to take you someplace more private, and gently proceed with the act. But it seemed so complicated to him to resist you, while you warmed his cock so needy of him and laid your warm lips all over his body "I need you so much, now" you whispered before passing your tongue over the beginning of his abs. Your hips continued to rub against his, making him feel your needy intimacy and leaving wet spots on his loincloth, not helping him to repress the erection that was being created between his legs.
"Shit! ma yawne…" His hoarse, frustrated voice made you smile maliciously. Your hand fell to the height of his loincloth, starting to play with the top, teasing his skin.
"Please~" Your voice and your movements were damning him, but the way your eyes looked at him now, those were enough to make him feel stiff beneath you.
Neteyam approached you, taking you gently from your neck and then turning your head so that it spoke to your ear.
"Do you know how to do that, baby?" his desperate and eager voice made you shudder as you squinted. " No…" you whispered before biting your lip.
At that moment you felt Neteyam’s other hand resting on your loincloth, casually moving it to the side, rubbing your warm fingers on your pulsating and needy intimacy, feeling already wet for him. " Oh, you’re already so wet for me? what a good girl" He teased you. Your hands grabbed behind him, feeling the first chills creeping up your back, a heat blazing over your lower abdomen and the desperate need to feel something more. You started riding his fingers clumsily, panting for pleasure, carrying your forehead on his shoulder. "Hmhm… that’s right, move your hips more slowly, ma yawne. I am here for you" His voice clashes with your neck, feeling you are even more needy for him, still following the advice he gave you.
Neteyam after a few minutes, took his fingers out of your intimacy, savoring your juice with pleasure.
"You are so sweet even between your legs" You blushed at his compliment, then feel the boy’s hands open your legs and letting them spread over him. One of his hands accompanied you as you sat on his ready-made cock, the red tip and the side vein pulsing with desire. "Slowly…yes, so it’s perfect, baby…oh shit." he said as you came down with a mind-blowing ease on his cock. You only had to stop a couple of times before you took it all, feeling already so full and tired on him, his cock was throbbing inside you, sending electric shocks up your soft and sensitive inner walls.
You whimped over his cock, holding you firmly on his shoulders as your fingernails stuck into his flesh. He admired you, he felt so good inside you, wet and hot while some internal spasms squeezed his cock making him moan with pleasure. His pupils dilated when he noticed your red face and how you looked like a mess right away: your eyes closed but so relaxed because of the pleasure of the new presence, your half-open mouth gasping and trying to welcome as much air as possible, panting so as to hit Neteyam’s ears too careful. It was his definition of heaven, seeing you so fragile and needy of him, it only excited him more.
"You needed me, right? Now ride, ma sa'nutsyìp" His voice contained some mocking tones, knowing that you wouldn’t be able to move right away, but at the same time he was warm and flirty. "I-I can’t…" you sighed, trying to move on his cock, feeling already too much pleasure for small movements. Neteyam’s hands wrapped around your hips, showing you how to ride his cock, enjoying every second of your twitching and whining due to the movements. You didn’t understand if you were feeling him on your stomach or it was just your impression, but you knew that some tears of pleasure turned your sweet face.
Neteyam’s tongue took a few salty drops from your eyes, moaning with satisfaction. Your soft thighs felt so heavy and tired as you rolled over his hot dick, it was hitting the right spots so well. Neteyam’s hands stopped helping you with the motionless, remaining only to guide you from time to time.
Your moans mingled with the sea breeze, the noise of your bodies colliding were muffled by the waves that seemed to get louder and louder, while the faint night light illuminated only slightly your bodies, making the bioluminescent freckles shine in the dark. You felt Neteyam’s soft lips mark your body, listening to your choking moans and whining as your hips clashed vehemently against his cock, trying to get as much pleasure from that warmth that seemed to flare up with eyes pop of skin. You started to tighten his cock with your walls once you felt more confident, making him moan with pleasure and making his grip on your hips tighter.
"Keep it up… you’re doing so well, ma yawne" his voice was broken with pleasure, it excited you to hear him praise you like this, you felt so well above him, with his hands clasping your body, while your nails scratched and pulled the skin of his body. Your legs started shaking, suddenly feeling all your weight, but you couldn’t stop looking for pleasure.
Neteyam put his hands behind your back, making you lie on the sand, with the water that you wet your hair, at that moment he had to get out of your now red pussy and more and more eager. "You were so good, let me take care of you now" he whispered, leaning over your ear, keeping your legs open before grinding his erection between your folds, entering only with the tip, making you whine and pant, eager to feel his presence again. "How much do you want me?" You bit your lip, hearing his words almost growling at you, just feeling more excited. "So much… please" you meowed in heat, eyes still full of tears. Neteyam smiled and then put his weight on his knees, sliding his strong hands along the line of your thighs spread apart to your torso, causing small electric shocks all over your body. One hand stood around your neck, caressing your sensitive skin and pressing lightly, while the other stood around your jaw, pushing his thumb between your lips.
You took his finger between your lips, started sucking and licking it, making him smile as you looked at him with eyes clouded with lust, gently mumbling before it entered you with a single push. Your breath missed to feel its entire length come back in a single blow, arching your back upwards, while a soft groan came out of your throat, and some tears of pleasure came out of your eyes that rolled backwards right after.
He began to grind inside you with a heartbreaking slowness, as your legs tried to close for the too much pleasure it was giving you. "Keep your beautiful legs open for me, baby" Neteyam growled softly as he watched his face reddened and beamed with your fragile body around him.
Your vagina began to tighten and suck Neteyam’s dick, as if to encourage him to move and stop torturing you like this. The rapidity with which he stuck your hands over your head when she saw you were going to touch your clitoris was amazing. You missed his hand around your neck, but getting your hands locked over your head while he forced you to keep your legs open was another form of excitement. "Good girl" he said sensually, as he began to speed up the thrusts, hitting where you felt most needed, grunting when your walls welcomed him particularly well.
When he realized where your g-spot was, he started hammering continuously at that point as his tail let yours loose just to start tickling and stimulating your clitoris as you wished. Your little desperate screams and the way you moaned his name, crying again as an outlet for all the pleasure that accumulated in you.
The freckles in Neteyam’s chest made you bite your lip with frustration, wanting to touch every inch of his body, exciting you at every contraction of his chest or abdomen. You manage to slightly scratch his hands, until he twisted your fingers, gently tightening the grip, continuing the thrusts until you both reach the coveted orgasm. He poured into you with a hoarse and deep groan, catching in his mouth your orgasm, eating your lips with a passionate kiss. He left his grip on your hands and laid his own on the sides of your body, on the wet sand. Your hands scratched his back, dragging your fingers up to his shoulders, then latched onto his braids to find comfort after orgasm.
Your ogasm was still dripping on his dick, mixing with his hot cum, while he continued to sink and grind inside you, feeling as your already too sensitive walls welcomed him and warmed his dick even more. Your moaning and whining did nothing but excite Neteyam even more, who took you from hips and brought you back above him, letting your legs rest on the sides of his pelvis. The boy’s hands explored with adoration every inch of your body, helping you ride him again and give you the pleasure you wanted after orgasm, while one of his hands found place in your hair. He squeezed your grip and pulled them back slightly, just to get you off his lips, as a line of saliva joined you, his wet kisses fell down to your neck, where he immediately began to brand every clean inch of your skin again. "You look so beautiful with my marks on, ma oare"
You squinted, moving on his still-pounding dick. "Oh, my good girl" he whispered raucously, while his free hand went to caress your back, passing your fingertips all along your spine, making you shiver "You have no idea what you’re doing to me…" You didn’t understand why, but those words turned you on, and he knew you needed them, especially because you showed this pleasure by holding his dick.
Your breaths got heavier as your fluids lubed up for your hops, feeling better and better at rolling your hips over him as Neteyam moaned and growled because of the excessive pleasure you were giving yourself. You came to the point of cumming again, and again you didn’t move away from his cock, leaving it comfortably inside you as you sat on his chest.
You breathed hard on his chest, your face was still red and you let yourself be pampered by the arms of Neteyam and the delicacy in which he touched your hair or your overstimulated body. "You were so good, ma y/n" he whispered, accompanying his words to the sound of the sea waves. "Now you’re mine…" he said, leaving a sweet kiss on your head.
You closed your eyes, taking long breaths as you listened to his heartbeat against your ear, smiling softly. Your fingers were drawing on her chest, wanting to be stuck in that moment forever.
"Are you okay? Is everything okay, y/n?" he said, looking down at you, taking your hand and kissing your back, making you look up.
"Yeah, yeah, everything’s fine. That was great… I was just thinking," you stopped and bit your lip. " What were you thinking?" he asked nicely.
"Umh… well, now we are, I mean, emh.." you blushed as you searched for the right words and hid on his chest.
"Mate, I’m yours y/n. If you want me, I’m yours." His hand caressed your back, as he smiled kindly at you.
"M-mated? Are you serious? I mean, I like the idea, but aren’t you afraid that people will judge you? or-" he stopped you with a frustrated sigh.
"Hmhm, but we will make Tsaheylu in a more special, more romantic and perfect way, you deserve only the best. To be honest? I’m more afraid of losing you, no matter what they say about me. I’d like to hold you like this every day, make you smile like a child, make you feel loved like you deserve, protect you from everyone and take care of the splendor you are. And Eywa will forgive me, but I would like to hear forever those sweet sounds you make when I’m inside you. Hearing you call my name, seeing your most lustful side, feeling your hands digging into my skin and then seeing the results of our love on our skin. Let me be the person who will stand beside you for eternity," Neteyam said, caressing your body, letting you feel his warmth as you shuddered under his gentle touch.
"What if… what if our children come out cursed like me? They’ll go through what I’ve been through, don’t you mind having children different from others?" you asked with fear.
"If Eywa blesses us with beautiful children who look like you, I will love them the same, if not more. I would love our children regardless of their color, and teach them to love their particularities. One day they will find a person who, like me, has fallen in love with their inner and outer beauty" he said with confidence, making you laugh softly. "Seriously, they wouldn’t be cursed. You are not cursed, y/n, you are pure light and I am so honored to have you only for me" Your eyes met again.
"I love you, ma y/n. With all my heart and soul, and I'll make you love yourself, I promise you."

⁀➷  part three : CONGRATULATIONS, FUCKER.
notes : so um… hi ! since y’all really enjoyed pt. 2 i decided i might as well write a pt. 3… i have to say that it was kind of hard writing this part because i genuinely didn’t think people would’ve liked it that much and had no idea of what to say anymore ☠️ but anygays … i had a BIG ASS fight with my parents so they took my phone, and they’re probably going to take my mac away too so idk when i’ll upload pt. 4 ( if y’all want one ), so i tried to write a bit more this time, i hope it’s sufficient.

warnings : a bit of angst, insecurity, overthinking neteyam lmao, detailed masturbation, this man is lusting waaaaaayyy too much over you lmao, a lil makeout session with someone 🤭, and i think that’s it lol.
everything was okay now. no really, everything’s okay.
after your talk with neteyam, he left you with more questions than answers once again.
your brain felt like a beehive, never stopping, so you tried to distract yourself with anything.
you trained, you read, you helped around, but not even spending time with ao’nung could help. you don’t think he noticed the way you pretended it was neteyam holding you, kissing you, spoiling you. but you gotta be careful.
you just had one single thought in your mind.
flashback
“you know we could argue right now, and no one would hear or see us ?”
“we could do anything right now, and nobody would see us. anything.”
your thoughts were interrupted by someone speaking.
you opened the tent only to see someone’s chest right in front of you, you tilted your head up and you saw him. neteyam.
your heart dropped to your stomach for a second, making you almost gasp. what was he doing here ? his hair was still in the same hairstyle you saw him in at the beach. he looked almost unreal.
face framed by a few braids, jaw locked making him look so nervous for some reason, his high cheekbones sharp as always, and even though you never told him, you wanted to feel his cheekbones so much, all the time. pointy nose with a little bump which you recognised immediately, it was jake’s. that bump was only on his nose, because all the other sons and daughters didn’t have it. he really is his father’s son. eyes still soulless, empty that almost looked dead. they were pointy, but not too much. he has that “sharp” look from neytiri, her stare could send you to heaven and above. his shoulders broad, not too muscly which is something you liked. his arms veiny and biceps always flexed, not even having to force it. his abs well sculpted, he was still wet, droplets of water running down his face and chest, he was probably swimming with lo’ak. or someone else.
you shook your head a bit, to get that thought off your head. it doesn’t matter, it really doesn’t. his v-line almost looks like it got highlighted and sharpened, which was the only thing you hated about the way your people dress.
his everything was for everyone to see. everyone.
you sometimes tend to forget he’s not offlimits, and to say you had nightmares, about someone else getting neteyam before you, was too little.
his voice snapping you out of your trance again, hoping he didn’t catch you quite literally analyzing his whole body, but the proud smile on his face immediately cleared all your doubts.
“your cigarettes.” he said getting in your face making fun of you. he handed you your pack of cigarettes. he didn’t give you the lighter but it didn’t matter, that’s the last thing you cared about right now.
that’s quite weird though. this isn’t the first time you forgot your cigarettes, he usually just keeps them since you smoke them together anyways. you better not think about it too much before you get delusional.
“oh, thank you.” you lightly smiled at him, looking at him in the eyes while taking the packet off your hands. but before you could get them, he pulled your hand to him and placed the pack on the top of your palm, his hand still holding yours. stop, stop, stop.
if you could only know what he was thinking about, he thought to himself.
if you could only know what he did later that night thinking about you.
flashback
“i fucking knew it.” he said, walking to his tent, his fists tight, his jaw locked.
he fucking knew you just couldn’t take that further step. he was only a game to you.
you enjoyed teasing him, playing with his mind acting like he was your dirty little toy, cared about only when you’re horny, or ao’nung couldn’t satisfy you enough.
how could he at the end of the day ? ao’nung wasn’t him and will never be.
he knows he’s better, but fuck do your choices fuck his mind up.
he though he could at least get one night with you, one single night. he could be near you, stay with you, inside you. he could see you. but you didn’t want to. hell, you didn’t even want to look at him.
the constant thoughts of you, torturing his mind. he hoped he could at least live one night of pure love, caring and affection, thinking you wanted too, so he could then go on with his life, mate with a person he didn’t love or care about only to satisfy his father, since the only thing he has always wanted was you.
he wanted you to look at him, but you were too busy staring and smiling at ao’nung.
he felt tears glossing his eyes, you could never be with him, because you simply didn’t want to.
as soon as he got into his tent, he immediately threw your shit away, that you forgot on the beach, with your other stuff. yes, he had a chest with a bunch of stuff you always forgot when you were around him. even looking at it, could make his heart wrench, feeling actual pain.
your blanket, you were nine years old and you had forgotten it when you slept that night with his parents, you had a nightmare. he didn’t sleep that night, so that if you had a nightmare again he could be the one to comfort you. not his parents, him.
your emerald braid accessory, you were eleven, he said he liked it, that it suited your face, so you took it off your braid and placed it in his hand, saying “take it, it’ll look better on you anyway”. it would’ve never looked better on anyone, that wasn’t you. so he just decided to keep it.
your spoon, the one that you used to eat your meals with, and that one time you happened to really like the meal his mom cooked for you. you took a spoonful of it, and positioned it in front of neteyam’s mouth. he was confused for a second, not getting if you actually wanted him to eat out of your spoon. you said “open your mouth, it’s really good, i promise”. not like you had to prove anything, he would’ve eaten a spoonful of poison if your hand was the one holding it. he hesitantly opened his mouth and you fed him. you smiled, and went back to eating your meal, with the same spoon you had just fed him with. it was something probably superficial for you, but it really did mean the world to him.
nostalgia was the sharpest blades of all.
if he only knew you thought the same exact thing.
his mask slipped for a second, letting a tear cut though his face, leaving behind a cold scar. he aggressively wiped it away. he hated you, so so so much. he couldn’t bear the sight of you.
he hated you.
he hated your beautiful hair, your sharp sparkly eyes, your soft cheekbones, your so damn kissable nose, your pouty lips that always fucking curl and smile at everyone’s jokes but his, the soft hill of your breast, the curve that separated your ribcage from the lowest part of your waist.
he couldn’t avoid getting hard every single fucking time. thinking about the way of your body moves when you play beach volley with your group, the way you felt on top of him, or well right on top of his dick, every single time you fought. he couldn’t avoid thinking about the way you were on top of him, fitting oh so well on his dick, while he was holding your wrists with one hand, but since you were way too angry, you didn’t even notice that his other free hand was placed on your waist with a brutal grip. to say he almost whimpered seeing stars, because of how well his big hand fitted on your strong curvy waist, was way too little.
there weren’t words to explain how much he wanted you. he could’ve collected every single thing he wrote about you, and still wouldn’t be enough to explain how hard his heart throbbed every time you were with him. well, maybe something else throbbed too.
neteyam couldn’t take it anymore. if he had to rub out every single thought he had about you, he would’ve became infertile a long time ago.
he placed his head on the pillow, trying to get to sleep in a fetal position. he turned and turned, trying to think of something else, but not the even aliyah, who he tried so hard to act like she was better than you, could lock his thought of you out of his mind.
he sighed in frustration, aggressively getting up when he noticed that.
his incredible massive boner, his dick’s timing was just great.
he got up, turned on the shower, making sure there was still some hot water, and took his clothes off.
“oh c’mon, now.” he silently said after taking off his underwear, noticing pre-cum on them. his dick spurted up, hitting him in the stomach. he rolled his eyes, and got in the shower.
the hot water hugged him, feeling like all of his problems were going down the drain.
he watched his dick gently throb, brought his hand to the base and slid it all the way up, circling his the tip, trying to let out of all the built up sexual tensione he had.
he tried to think about anything that wasn’t you. but how could he ?
how could he not think about the way your sex humped on his clothes, feeling your folds hug his shaft so perfectly. how could he not think of the way that you thought he didn’t notice you throb on him ? how could he not think of the way his hand from your waist slid down to your ass, before his dad separated the both of you ? how could he not think of the way that ao’nung’s hand was in your inner thigh, but you were looking at him ?
his pace got faster, making him heavy pant with his eyes closed, your figure tattooed on his eyelids. he came, seeing some of his seed on his hand and what was left of it going down the drain with the water and his problems.
he sighed, staying there, back held by the wall behind him, leaving him thinking. but he was way too tired of thinking. his temples were throbbing with pain, from how hard his headache was. he just finished washing himself, put some clothes on, and just went to sleep.
you woke up the next morning, head basically feeling like someone stomped on it.
you barely could even sleep last night, too many problems flowing in your thoughts.
you sighed, almost whimpering, brutishly throwing your head back on the pillow. why did everything have to be soooo complicated. you definitely had to talk to him, because all of this had to stop. you were tired, sexually frustrated and sleep deprived. this combo could easily make you kill anyone who even tries to disturb your peace.
you hated the way he was trying to hard to act like “he’s protecting his peace”, motherfucker your disturbing everyone else’s. you got up sloppily, waiting for lo’ak to come by your tent like he did every single morning.
but well, weird. time has passed and you didn’t even see lo’ak’s shadow, where could he be ?
you got out of your tent, walking to his parents’ one since the poor lil boo boo had nightmares basically every single night. you almost wanted to feel bad for him, but how the fuck could you ?
at the beginning you thought that after hearing all the crazy stories about the war his dad, the former Toruk Makto, fought, he just was scared and was having nightmares about that.
but after hearing that he had a nightmare about you fucking tsireya, you were done caring about this man. out of all things in the world, THAT ? since you said you could definitely fall in love with a girl, he went on flight or fight mode. saying this guy could literally sweat jealousy, was too little.
“father ? are you here ?” you said while keeping the tone of your voice low and calm, so you didn’t scare anyone off. but the scene in front of you could be the least thing you expected.
neytiri and jake seated in a circle with everyone, and when you say everyone, you meant EVERYONE. in front of jake there was neteyam, who looked like he almost killed someone by the way he had his head down, legs crossed and… was that a slap mark ??
on neteyam’s left, kiri and spider were seated. which is weird, why were they so quiet ? on neteyam’s right there were lo’ak and tuk. even tuk ? you felt a wave of goosebumps traveling their way up your back. this is way much more serious than you thought.
jake looked at you with the harshest expression you have ever seen on his face. “oh great, (y/n) sit down and join us.” you didn’t sit down, still trying to process what he was saying while walking in the tent, getting behind neteyam.
“FUCKING SIT. NOW.” he screamed at you, as you felt a wave of shock wash over you. you immediately sat down, accidentally bumping neteyam’s shoulder. that’s the first time jake has ever yelled at you. never, in his whole life has he ever screamed at you. yes, he sometimes could be mad at you, but has never screamed that way. neytiri looked at you with heartbroken eyes, mouthing ‘i’m so sorry.’. why would she apologise, it’s not like it’s her fault. right ?
jake huffed, keeping the palms of his hands on his crossed legs, almost looking like he was trying to find the words to explain what was on his mind. this man is going to get a heart attack if you and the others don’t stop stressing him. you felt ashamed, of the way you childishly fighted with neteyam over stupid stuff, not even realising your father couldn’t handle it anymore.
the shame, always comes at the worst time.
“this is the last fucking time i’m saying this. why THE FUCK-” he stopped for a second, trying to calm down for a second. tuk was with us, he probably didn’t want to swear or yell in front of her. you saw him take a deep breath and finish his sentence.
“why, THE FUCK, did you treat her like that ? what has she done to you ? it’s not like your skxawng ass has a mate to be loyal to.” he said, finishing his sentence.
your heart dropped, you were almost capable of hearing the echo of its fall. wait.
she ?
who are we talking about ?
interrupting you from your thoughts, jake stood up scaring everyone, and furiously walked to then kneel in front of neteyam. he harshly grabbed his face, making you gasp out loud, almost like he grabbed your face.
what happened ? you were so confused. she ? who is she ? how did he treat her for jake to be this mad ?
neteyam looked at him, his head tilt up with absent eyes, lips pressed together and jaw locked.
“you have absolutely no idea of what you’ve done, do you ?” jake almost whispered, which was probably even scarier than him screaming.
“this sweet sweet girl, who is literally the clan leader’s daughter, came up to you, asking you whatever the fuck she asked you, and what did you do ?” oh. so it’s tsireya’s sister we’re talking about, aliyah.
“’ oh leave me alone, i don’t want anything to do with you’” he said mocking neteyam’s words. he chuckled, and continued.
“your skxawng ass better be grateful if the leader doesn’t tell us to pack our staff and go the fuck away, after the way she ran away crying.” he stood up from his position, stopping the grasp on neteyam’s face, making him leave his head to the side. he lifted up his gaze, only to be met with yours.
you were genuinely so worried, in part because you couldn’t understand what in the actual fuck was happening. what did aliyah want ? why did neteyam make her cry ?
“is it my fault that i don’t want to mate with a person i don’t like ?” he silently said, making everyone turn their heads to him, no one expected him to talk. this is so bad.
jake stopped for a second with his back towards him. he slowly turned around with furrowed eyebrows and a slightly parted mouth. “what the fuck did you just say ?” he said, the vein on his temple was quite literally about to pop.
“I SAID, i don’t want to mate with her ! i don’t want her ! she was throwing herself all over me, like the fucking slag she is, and when i told her no, BECAUSE I HAVE EVERY FUCKING RIGHT TO SAY NO, she started crying.” he stopped for a second, catching his breath while looking at his dad. he couldn’t recognise him, why was he suddenly so pressed and stressed about neteyam finding a mate ? did it have to do with you ?
jake crossed his arms, and with an ironic smirk on his face he said “then who the fuck do you like, huh ? is every other girl so repellent to you ? have you suddenly became picky or what ?”
neteyam was about to let a tear cut through his face but he didn’t even though his eyes still remained glossed with tears. “i like someone else, but they don’t want to have anything to do with me. that’s it. it’s not the end of the world.” neteyam finished, with a slightly cracked but most importantly low voice.
jake stared at him for a couple of seconds. his face was now suddenly calm, while neytiri’s was absolutely devastated.
there was no denying it, neteyam’s a mommas boy. thank god, neytiri never tried to emotionally incest him, indeed she was happy when he talked to her about this someone he liked. that was the first time neytiri saw her sweet son be so wrapped around someone’s finger. she said that he should at least try, not jump to conclusions. but if he did jump to conclusions earlier, he wouldn’t have to feel his heart wrench and blood boil every single time he thought about what happened that night with you at the beach. he should’ve jumped to conclusion, and probably taken a fucking hint. you didn’t want him. that’s it, it’s as simple as it gets. move on, neteyam.
move on.
jake looked at you for a second, like the answer to all his problems was somewhere inside of you. in that exact moment he thought.
“is it better to speak or to die ?”
should he speak ? should he let you know that all of this, was because neteyam couldn’t move past you ? he couldn’t even count on his hands how many other omatikaya women have came up and asked to be neteyam’s mate. and he refused to even look at them. one after the other.
or should he die ? let his son stare at you with dreamy eyes, trying everyday to kill whatever he felt for you ? see him mate with another person he probably didn’t love, or even want to be near to ? should he kill his son ? a body is nothing without its soul. you were half of him, even though you were probably complete on your own. that’s the thing.
you could live without neteyam, neteyam couldn’t live without you.
neteyam stood up, catching everyone’s attention, leaving the tent and distracting jake from his thoughts.
“reunion finished, get out” he said opening the tent’s entrance for everyone.
neteyam had been waiting for you. on the beach, with a new lighter, because he wanted to keep yours. only waiting for you to come here, smile at him, sit next to him and smoke together.
but after an hour, he was worried. had something happened to you ? where did you go after the family reunion ?
he just decided to get up, and look for you. to finally try and not jump to conclusions again.
to finally say those damn three words.
“i see you.”
yes, that was the day, or maybe he could at least try and hint his intentions. letting you know he wanted more than a hookup, and that he finally was fucking ready to treat you like he should have been all this time.
ok no, maybe it’s a little too early for that.
he had no idea that that same day, ao’nung came by your tent.
“hey, how are you ?” ao’nung asked, face poking from the side of your tents entrance. you were surprised he came by your tent. he wasn’t used to do this, but it’s not like you don’t appreciate it.
“hey” you said back. he got in the tent, looking around for a bit. this was probably the first time he came here after you decided to basically move here.
“so, what have you been up you?” you tried to keep a conversation going, you couldn’t bare the silence it was way too awkward.
“i’ve been missing you.” he said, in a serious tone. silence dropped for a second, but it was immediately interrupted by your laughs. thank god.
“and what have you been up to ?” he smiled looking at you while leaning his back on the wall. maybe you could fall in love with him. or maybe you’re just delusional.
“nothing special, if i have be to be honest, but… “ you left your sentence incomplete, walking to him with his gaze glued on you. same smirk on his face.
“… i’ve been missing you too.” you finished your sentence, placing a kiss on his lips.
you were such a little dirty liar. you didn’t miss him one bit.
you place another kiss on his lips, and another one. and another one.
until he placed a hand behind your neck, smashing your lips together, deepening your kiss. his tongue lightly parted your lips, as if he was asking for your consent. you hugged his tongue with yours, tasting him. but ao’nung’s lips couldn’t even come near netayam’s lips. soft, on your skin, jaw and neck. his hand tracing circles on your waist as usual, your arms thrown to circle his neck.
you silently moaned against his lips, catching his attention, making him heavy breathe. your lips still attached to his, you lightly jumped, his big hands covering your ass, making you hug his waist with your legs.
you were so deep already, into all of this story. are situationships supposed to act like this ? was it normal ? are you falling in love ? or are you falling in love with the person you’re pretending is holding you right now ?
are you in love with ao’nung or the guy that could make you fall to your knees with only a kiss ? or make you whimper with a single touch ? or make you doubt everything you know with a simple phrase ? that someone had such a special effect on you, you don’t think there’s any language in this world that is capable of explaining what he did to you. how he makes you feel.
you were so so so tired. of fighting. of pretending. of replacing.
shouldn’t things be easier ?
your thoughts interrupted by ao’nung’s lips kiss and biting on your neck, but neteyam did it so much better. you lifted your face, giving him more space to work on. ao’nung suddenly stopped, face still in the crook of your neck . and you suddenly had this bad bad feeling in your gut.
something bad about to happen to you. you don’t what it is, but you feel it coming.
you waited for ao’nung to say something, hands still on your back to hold you, like you weighted as much as a feather. he could give you anything you wanted, but how could ask him to give you another person ? that unfortunately wasn’t him.
“i know who you pretend i am.” your heart dropped the moment ao’nung spoke those words, with his voice low and cracked. he knew and still came by your tent. the guilt was chocking you.
he knows, and i know he knows. what could you even say ? that it wasn’t true ? that he was worried for nothing ? you couldn’t, because not only you would be lying to him, but you would also be lying to yourself.
as if your night couldn’t get better, someone entered the tent.
but as soon as you felt your heart stinging, you knew damn well you were in so much trouble.
so so so so much trouble. you were absolutely fucked.
you didn’t even have to look at him, to realise that the person who just entered your tent was neteyam. you immediately fell back to your feet, distancing yourself from ao’nung.
who did you even have to be loyal to ?
but maybe, it just was the fact that you couldn’t betray your heart.
you suddenly felt naked, in front of him. his gaze confused, eyes glossed once again with tears.
you just wanted to disappear, you just wanted to die.
he scoffed, crossing his arms and looking at you with a smirk on his face. this was so bad.
ao’nung kept trying to keep track on what was happening, why were you so suddenly acting like this. but he might have realised something, that the two of you have been trying to hide so hard. his eyes flashed, mouth slightly opened. heart completely shattered. he immediately ran out of the tent, purposely bumping his shoulder against neteyams. not even daring to look back. you felt a tear leave your eye. what have you done ?
the silence was suddenly interrupted by neteyams voice, making you tilt your head up.
“congratulations, fucker.”
he stopped for a second. trying to get the words.
“if you only knew how many words i have wasted on you, and how many other words i was willing to waste. even tonight, but you didn’t even come by.”
that’s all he said, before leaving once again, following ao’nung’s traces.
leaving you alone.

Contains: SMUTTY SMUT, pussy eating and fingering, dom Lo'ak, denial and edging, squirting, very VERY slight mention of somnophilia at the end, i think that's everything .
Author's note / plot: I decided to do a series based off of the Seven deadly sins, which are pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth. I have plans for multiple fics including each sin, and each one will consist of different Avatar characters. <3 hopefully you all love this idea as much as I do!

It was no secret that Lo'ak loved eating pussy— yours, of course. He worshipped it. Obsessed with your tangy slick, the way it pulsated around his fingers and tongue, and your perfect little clit.
Lo'ak squeezes the plush of your thighs, holding them open as you struggle to stay still. "Stop moving mama, let me finish eating this cute pussy." He mumbles on your cunt, half of his tongue meeting with your spongey walls as he suctioned your clit. "I-I'm trying..!" You gasp, followed by a moan. He's been at this for Eywa knows how long. You feel so you numb and sensitive. "Lo'ak, please.. I-I can't cum again." You whined. Trying to scoot your hips back, but to no avail. He simply growls, sending vibrations to your cunt which just made your hips fall back. "I'm not done with my meal yet, mama." He teases in a low tone, smacking your mound, resulting in a high pitched whimper. "Stop.." You breathe out, fighting back another orgasm. Lo'ak scoffs, repositioning himself. He scissors your folds open with two digits, kitten licking the puddle of wetness that spread onto your thighs.
"You know.." He starts, teasing your entrance with his fingers. "I thought I told you about telling me what to do," you hum, followed by a whimper. Looking down, you see a dark look in his eyes. Darker than usual. "L-Lo'ak, what are you doing.." He ignores you. "..because, I'm in charge here, and not you, yeah?" He emphasizes the last word with a huff, plunging his long fingers into you, curling them up and reaching your sweet spot. Your eyes shut themselves closed. Breath shuddering while needy moans fall from your mouth. "Mmmm!" You squeal, tears began to form in your eyes as his digits pounded you nonstop. "I'm- cumming! I'm gonna cum, oh shit.." You feel your heartbeat pattern change drastically as your lower core tightens. "Yeah mama, squirt in my fucking mouth. Let go for daddy." He quickens his pace, jamming his digits into your sweet spot even more as he makes out with the rest of your cunt.
Your body lets go. Thighs shaking as the clear liquid spews out of your pussy, eyes rolling back while you grip Lo'ak's head. Pushing him down. He catches your squirt in his mouth, swallowing without hesitation. "Fuuck," Lo'ak groans as he slurps the residue off, listening to your moans die down as you pant. He lets your thighs go, climbing on top of you. "Wake up." He grumbles, cuppping your cheek, moving your face from either side. "I don't care if you're passed out, mama. I'm still gonna eat." Was the last thing you heard before he went back down..

Previous Part
Fear rose in your chest during breakfast. Your dad kept bringing up the tsuraks and every time he mentioned their name, your siblings saw you swallow hard. Tsireya felt bad for you, she was glad that it wasn't asked of her to tame one of them. At least for now, her training as Tsahik is more important and she thanks Eywa for that every day. Ao'nung smirked at your distressed expression but he had some sympathy for you, having seen the injuries other warriors got from Tsurak training. Your mom tried to cheer you up by praising your swimming abilities and mentioning how you successfully tamed your ikran. All that did though, was putting more pressure on you. "Yes, you will see Y/N you will be able to tame it in no time! You already know how to fly and swim. What else is there to do? You will see daughter, the other warriors won't believe their eyes when they see you taming the mighty beast! And I will be there, telling them that I knew it! Ha!" Your dad gave your back a strong smack, making you spill your breakfast as a result. "Oh no, sorry my child! Well, you should pack it anyway, we should get an early start. It will do you good, I can feel it." With that, your dad went to retrieve a small bag so you could pack your food, while your mom prepared another portion, rubbing your back to comfort you in the process. After your food was wrapped, Tonowari all but pushed you out of the door. "A great day indeed!" Looking at your sister one last time, she tried giving you a motivating smile but it came out more as a pained grimace.
On your way to the tsuraks, you ate the rest of your breakfast while halfheartedly listening to your dad's story of how he tamed his tsurak. It was quite an interesting story...just not when hearing it for at least the fifth time. By now you were almost convinced you could retell it word for word.
At your destination, you already saw a handful of warriors in the water, among them was Jake Sully. "What did I tell you? The best warriors start early! There you have it." Your dad practically glowed with anticipation. He jumped off of the path you were standing on into the shallow water and walked towards the Omatikaya man in the deeper water as he greeted him. Toruk Makto greeted him back. "Ah Jake Sully, I believe you already met my daughter Y/N. I heard she had a successful day with your son yesterday. She spoke very highly of him!" Now you were blushing again. Great, just great. You followed your dad, noticing how the sandbanks made this the perfect spot for training. Shallow water that barely reached your knee but was easier to walk in quickly transitioned into deeper water, perfect for the tsuraks.
Jake could barely see your small form hiding behind your dad. But when he did, he saw the purple tint on your cheeks. "Yes, Neteyam mentioned that it went well. How come you are here today?" Jake wondered why you were here since you usually hung out with his children. At that Tonowari gently pushed you in front of him, proudly putting a hand on your shoulder. "Today Y/N will have her first day of learning how to ride a tsurak!" Jake saw Tonowari's proud smile as well as the worry on your face. It was clear to him who was more excited about the idea. "That sounds like fun. No worries kid, you will manage! I mean, you got a head start already riding an ikran and swimming with the ilus." Jake tried his best to sound encouraging, to ease your worries. Tonowari gave another hearty smack to your back. "You see! I told you, now come on, it's time to get started!" Jake got out of your way as your father steered you towards a group of men preparing the tsurak. You gulped and prayed to Eywa that the day will end sooner rather than later. "Ok, now child, do you want to start in the water or the air? Usually, we start in the air since that is the harder part for us but you have an advantage at that, so what would you like?" your dad crouched down to you, a proud smile on his lips, waiting for your answer. You completely disagreed with him about the air part but also felt like starting in the water would end less messy. "I...I think I would like to start in the water." Unsure, you looked between the tsurak and your dad. "The water it is!" And with that, he helped you to get on the tsurak and gave you a leather strip for your hand. "You can use that for practice. It is not required but some prefer it. It helps you tighten your grip while getting used to them. What do you say, with or without?" You would rather get pulled around than thrown off, so you quickly nodded and took the leather strip, securing it around your hand and the handle on the tsurak's saddle. "That's my girl! Always one for the tough way!" your father exclaimed, making you rethink that decision. Well, now or never! The others started backing up as you made the bond. The tsurak lowers into the water and your grip on the handle tightens. You lower yourself closer to the tsurak. The beast becomes restless and as the last few warriors step back, it starts picking up speed. Now fully in the water, you notice that it is actually very similar to the ilus. This isn't bad. This isn't bad at all, you think. You keep getting faster and faster, your grip still strong around the handle. Traveling this fast is new to you but you greatly enjoy it.
Tonowari looks in your general direction. Filled with pride, he explains to Jake: "You see my daughter, she was riding an ilu before anybody else in her age group did. She could barely walk when she one day decided it was time for her to swim with us. She made the bond and swam past all the kids her age. That's how I knew she would do well today!" Jake also looks in your direction. He is impressed by that. He wasn't sure at what age the Metkayina usually start riding the ilus but he saw no child younger than four alone with them.
Just as you think that riding a tsurak isn't as hard as everybody made it out to be, the animal shoots out of the water. The force of the sudden change of motion has you flying out of your seat, your hand rips off of the handle and tsaheylu breaks. The men can only watch as you get thrown off the tsurak, landing in the water with a splash.
Worry rises in Tonowari as he makes his way over to you as fast as he can. You rise out of the water again and take a big breath of air. Your hand throbs and as you look down you see angry red lines forming all over it. Your dad approaches you worried, saying: "Y/n! Y/n, are you alright my child?" He looks at your injured hand. "Oh dear, it's alright. I am here, no worries, it will be fine." He carefully embraces you, patting your head in comfort. Flexing one finger after the other, you notice a slight discomfort but nothing too bad. "Dad?" You look up at your dad, who lets you out of his embrace to look at you attentively. "Can I maybe not use the leather strip anymore?" The concern on your dad's face is replaced with amusement and pride as he rises, a hand on your back, turning you towards the other men who are looking in your direction concerned. "Ha! Certainly! Always facing the challenge!" Everybody relaxes as you walk back towards the group. They call for the tsurak so you can try again. Still a little away from the group, you question your dad: "Do you think I should maybe start in the air and do the transition into the water first? I think I might get that better." Always supportive of you, your dad quietly replies, "If that's what you want, you can do that. You know...you don't have to learn to ride a tsurak in a day." While he was proud of your courage, he didn't want you to get seriously injured or that push yourself too hard. Contemplating your dad's words, you reply: "No, but giving up because I failed once isn't right either. I can do this, dad!" Seeing the determination in your eyes, he gives you a nod affirming you while helping you back onto the tsurak. "When the tsurak dives into the water, you have to react quickly and lean into it to ease into the water. If you don't, the water resistance will throw you off." Nodding at your dad's words, you tightened your grip on the handle once more, this time without the supporting leather strip. "Hey kid, while it's above the surface it's very similar to an ikran. Hold yourself up and focus on the tsurak's movements." Jake gave you an encouraging thumbs up. After a small nod of confirmation, you made the bond and everybody stepped back. The tsurak picked up its speed and went up, lifting out of the water. You held yourself high, just like Neteyam taught you. Gripping the handle tightly, you focused on the tsurak's movement. Everything has worked out well so far. Feeling a change of motion, you quickly leaned into the animal just as it started diving. Now fully submerged, it picked up speed. You felt your grip on the handle getting loose and it glided through your hand before you could even react. You swam up to the surface and went back to your dad. "Good! That was good!" Your dad praised you. You appreciated it but you wanted to go again, now knowing how to do better. You smiled at your dad and got ready.
Back at the beach, Tsireya met up with the Sully children. Neteyam looked around a little confused. "Where is Y/n? I wanted to give her a present!" Tuk asks, looking at Tsireya. Smiling at the small girl, Tsireya answered loudly enough so that Neteyam could hear her as well. "My sister had to go with our father today. He is teaching her how to ride a tsurak." This surprised the Sullys since their father had told them about how difficult it was as well as how many of the warriors got bruised during their training. "Isn't that dangerous?" Kiri was a little concerned for you. "No, don't worry. Y/n is an excellent ilu rider and our father taught many warriors how to ride a tsurak. It's not easy but I am sure she will manage." Tsireya's words calmed the Sully children as she intended but she couldn't help but worry herself. She was confident in your skills but it was your stubbornness that worried her. She was concerned you would push yourself too hard. "Now, how about we swim with the ilus?" Tuk's cheerful "yes!" was all that was needed to get the group moving toward the training area of the reefs. To improve their movements with the ilus, Tsireya decided to swim in shallower water with them. Not to mention that she could keep an eye on you and see how you were doing.
At the training area, Neteyam quickly noticed the tsuraks a little away from the ilus and the group started searching for your familiar face. Lo'ak pointed towards a group of men. "Look, there she is!" The group looked in the direction Lo'ak was pointing at. You were sitting on a tsurak's back, forming tsaheylu as the warriors surrounding the animal were walking away.
After the bond was made, the tsurak picked up speed and fully got out of the water. You crouched down on its back, looking far ahead. As the beast dove into the water, you quickly changed your position, now leaning into its back. Both of you disappear into the water. Not long after, you emerged from the water a little ahead of where you dove in. You swam back to a shallower part of the water. Then you walked back towards your father and a couple of other men, as well as their dad. You seemed deeply concentrated on what the men were telling you, slightly nodding at whatever they were explaining. Neteyam focused back on Tuk when she started playing with the ilus, gleeful noises leaving her. Tsireya told them about their most common mistakes and then told them to practice for a while. After some time, Neteyam started looking after Tuk, who was by now playing with the ilus rather than practicing. Kiri also swam off playing with smaller fish. Tsireya and Lo'ak swam next to each other but were more focused on their conversation than their swimming.
A loud splash followed by a painful yelp got their attention. "Y/N!" Tonowari made his way over to a crouching form. Realizing you got hurt, the group quickly ran in your direction as well.
Your arm was hurting a lot. On your last try, you managed to hold onto the tsurak as it went into the water but got thrown off again when it breached the surface. But this time you didn't land in the deeper water. No, you landed on a sandbank that was barely covered by the water. Sitting up, you saw the water around you turning red from the blood that came from your arm. Your dad reached you. "Are you hurt? Oh no, it's fine. I've got you." Carefully taking your injured arm, he saw a long cut going almost all the way from your wrist to your elbow bend. Tonowari looked up, seeing Tsireya and the other kids coming your way. "Go get your mother." Tsireya nodded and turned around, heading away from the group. Tonowari picked you up and carried you over to one of the paths that were connecting the marui pods above the water. "Is she alright? What happened?" Tuk worried about you questioning her father as Tonowari walked ahead of them. After your dad set you down, Kiri came over wanting to help. "Can I help? I used to tend to our injured in the forest." Appreciating your friend's offer, you showed her your still-bleeding arm. "You should put pressure on it to stop the bleeding, it's a rather nasty cut." She pressed down hard on the wound to stop the bleeding, making you hiss in discomfort. "Sorry. There must have been a sharp stone under the water that cut me when I got thrown off." Your dad was standing next to you, still in the water, trying to comfort you by lightly stroking your back. Jake saw how all of his children cared for your well-being. They all looked worried but only Neteyam looked as if he was in pain himself when you let out the hiss.
Ronal arrived with fast steps, closely followed by Tsireya, both of them carrying various supplies. Kiri made space for your mother, letting go of your arm. "What happened? Who did this?" Your mom demanded answers. Lowering your ears in shame, you answered her quietly. "Nobody, mom...I-I fell." Assessing your wound, your mom tended to it. Jake thought it was better to leave you be for now. "Alright kids, let's go. Let Ronal do her job, come on." They all said their goodbyes and told you to get well soon. Ronal threw angry looks at her mate while tending to your wound. She smears a thick layer of ointment on your arm before wrapping it in the bandages Tsireya hands her. Satisfied with her work, she gave you a once-over to check if you needed any more treatment. Her eyes fall on your other hand, which is covered in angry red and purple lines. She takes another ointment and holds it out to you. "Here, put that on your hand every evening and every morning until the lines are gone." Still not looking at her eyes, you take the ointment from her mumbling "thanks". She lays a finger under your chin, lifting it up to look you in the eyes. She smiles at you before kissing your forehead. "You should rest now. No more physical training for at least a week. Stay out of the water as much as you can. I don't want your wound to reopen." All four of you got up and headed towards your family's marui. Tsireya follows your mom into her room, where she keeps most of her supplies. Your dad couldn't help but notice your sour mood. "What's wrong? Does it still hurt?" Looking up at him, you sigh. "Yes a little but that's not it...It still threw me off. I thought I got it...I thought I could finally do it but no, I still made the same mistakes." Not wanting your unjustified disappointment to harden, he argues: "You did great today. You learned how to ride a tsurak in the air and the water. And you managed to learn the dive. That's a lot for your first day. I told you it takes time. Nobody expected you to master it on your first day. You failed, but you stood back up. You didn't let your failure demotivate you but learned from your mistakes." Your dad's words brought a smile to your lips and while you still weren't happy about it, you couldn't deny your success. Throwing your arms around his middle, you hug him tightly. "Thank you, dad." He patted your head. "Not for that." As your mom came back into the room she ordered you to rest until dinner. Your sister came out after her, heading for the entrance of your marui. You went into your room but heard your parents hushed voices as they argued. "I told you not to be so hard on her!" your mom hissed at your father. "This was an accident! They happen. And you know that riding the tsurak isn't easy. It's not uncommon to get a few bruises, they will heal!" Your mom snarled lowly "It is our duty to protect our children, Tonowari! To make sure that they don't get hurt!" Your dad sighed. "And that's what I'm doing. But they have to make their own decisions and take their own risks. It's part of growing up to fall sometimes. Our duty is to make sure that they stand back up again." Ronal grumbled but knew that Tonowari was right.
Tsireya headed for the Sullys' marui, aware that her friends would most likely want to know how you were doing. "Tsireya!" Little Tuktirey greeted her, pulling her inside the marui by her hand. "Hey, how is Y/n doing? The cut looked bad." Kiri wondered. "The cut will take some time to heal, our mother said she can't take part in any training or much swimming for at least a week." They were all relieved to hear you were more or less ok. "Can we see her? I want to give her the gift, maybe it will make her feel better." Tuk now looked between her dad and Tsireya, wanting both of them to give her their ok. "I am afraid today wouldn't be a good idea. She is resting now and the ointment will make her tired." Jake smiled at his youngest, trying to lift up her spirits he says: "I'm sure you can see her tomorrow". Tsireya stays a little longer talking to Kiri and Lo'ak before heading back to her family's marui before dinner. "I know it didn't go that well but I gotta say, she looked totally badass riding that thing." Lo'ak broke the silence while the family was enjoying their food in the large common area. Jake chuckled at that. "Yeah, she was pretty determined. The tsurak seems pretty stubborn. She got thrown off at least ten times today but she always came back, wanting to go again. Tonowari is very proud of her." Neteyam's brows furrowed in confusion. "I don't get it. She already tamed an ikran. Why does that not count for the Metkayina's trials?" Jake had an idea but wasn't sure if he should share his thoughts since they were only that. "Well, she is the oldest of the chief's children...". That comment surprised Neytiri. "You think Tonowari will make her Olo'eyktan?" Now all his children looked at Jake curious. "Well, I don't *KNOW* that. I'm just saying it's possible. I mean, think about it. Unlike her sister, she is being trained like most warriors of the clan. Letting her travel to another clan without passing the trials is rather uncommon and means that Tonowari and Ronal must have a lot of trust in her." That left all of the Sullys deep in thought. "Hold up now, isn't Tsireya training for Tsahik? And the Tsahik is mated to the Olo'eyktan, so how would either Y/n or Ao'nung become Olo'eyktan? Also, isn't the Olo'eyktan usually a man?" Lo'ak didn't agree with his parents reasoning about how you could become Olo'eyktan. Neytiri answered her youngest son. "No child, it is the most common for the Tsahik and the Olo'eyktan to mate but a close relation like siblings isn't unheard of. It's very rare but not impossible. My father told me about one clan that once had siblings as their clan's leaders. The same goes for the sex of the Olo'eyktan. The Tayrangi people, Y/n's father's clan, have a female Olo'eyktan." Now they were all curious. "We can ask her tomorrow!" Tuk proposed. "Don't" Jake interfered. "If Tonowari didn't name her, it could come across as if you disagreed with his decision." Jake didn't want his children to cause further conflict. "It would be best if you didn't talk about that with her or Ao'nung. Or their parents." Lo'ak didn't miss that his dad left out Tsireya and neither did Kiri. The siblings shared a look, knowing that there was a way to get answers to their questions.
