A little wonderful project me and @lil-beanz000 came up with ! Let me introduce you to Vinny Usato, the new member of the Usato fam and marupyons little brother ! This adorable munchkin is one of @lil-beanz000 original oc’s that i kidnapped >:3 muehehehe

After having pyonpyon, Leo finds out that he would no longer be able to have children, the pregnancy having been to hard on his body. While talking about it to the family, draxum offers to help them by providing his services and lab as a birthing chamber/incubator. The young couple is overjoyed and accept his offers, however not everyone on board with the idea. Maru finds herself conflicted with this new change and lashes out at her parents, however after some reassurance and some bonding time she comes to love little Vinny to bits <3

Imagine the boys getting cursed to bear witness to “some of the most negatively impactful things in their lives” and they’re terrified, thinking it’ll be stuff like the invasion or Shredder or something-

Only to be met with multiple scenarios of their family. Saying offhand, but hurtful things. Doing hurtful things. Lots of scenarios that were inconsequential to everyone but the one most affected.

And they’re all scrambling, desperate to make sure the others don’t look too deep into it haha it doesn’t really bother them- but they all know the truth. Because they’re all in the same position here. It wasn’t on purpose, and they all know it wasn’t on purpose, but it still hurts.

It’s almost a relief, that they’re going through it all together. That they can apologize for mistakes, and accept that they’ve held onto hurt too long when they could have dealt with it sooner.

And that’s how they break the curse, reversing it into something different, as they’re told that before it leaves them for good they’ll bear witness to the most positively impactful things in their lives. And now they think they’ll see some of their best victories, some of their grandest adventures-

The scenes they see then are of the same cloth as their negative ones. Simple scenes, ones that most wouldn’t remember. Times where someone managed to make someone else smile, times where they were just so content to exist by the other’s side, times where they were just happy being there with their brothers, their family.

It’s the little things that go the farthest, because that’s what you experience the most in life. And they’ll mess up again, of course. Things happen, and they’ll never really know how their actions and words will be taken. But through the good and the bad, they’re family.

Besides - turns out, there’s a lot more good.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for reading this little story (not so little in the end, it's 89 pages - my biggest project!). Loved making it, it was very fun! I learned a lot too. You guys are amazing and I love you as always! <3

How old do you think the turtle tots are in the comics/art you've shown? (like, roughly, how it's their development)

will probably be a bit long because of pics so!

^ a few weeks after being mutated (basically still newborns, very small)

^ Around 6-7 months! Can be seen crawling around the house

^ Roughly around 8 months old (already starting to string together syllables)

^ Around 3 years old! (Yi is VERY smart for her age)

^ Around 4 years old!

No, no, hear me out.

We all know how they don’t listen to him, right? And how they don’t respect his feelings? Check this out-

Seriously, he cries out ONCE and suddenly that gives them permission to barge into his room and start demanding about his health? ALL of them? Is that even necessary?

I mean, come ON, Leo. Ever heard of knocking?

And then, what, they’re all just going to stand there in relief that he’s unharmed even though he’s clearly telling them about something that they have no recollection of as he sits tucked in his bed?

What reason would they have not to believe him?

What, they just hate him that much that it’s totally unbelievable that this might have happened?

Sure, he’s told them about insane dreams about pirates and rodeo clowns that usually involve them somehow, BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN THAT THAT’S WHAT’S HAPPENING NOW!

Wha- so they’re just going to do the BARE minimum of making sure he’s safe, unharmed, and calm him down by assuring him of all these things and that it was only a dream- then they’re just going to LEAVE!? Seriously!?

Why even enter enter in the first place?!

No wonder Mikey’s become secretly depressed.
