XL bullies, old, young and everything in between. I'm so so so sorry our system has failed you 💔

I've been tossing and turning every night since the ban was announced- I keep trying to wrap my head around this, thinking about the good it will do, but I can't. Because none of this is good, and none of this is fair.

To the XL bullies that have attacked, I'm sorry.

This isn't your fault.

I'm sorry that irresponsible people have turned you into scared, vulnerable, maybe angry souls and you felt that you had to fight to protect.

I'm especially sorry to the puppies and the older dogs who have never layed a tooth on anyone, and to the XL bullies who are about to become angels, through no fault of your own.

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry that people are going to treat you badly just because of the way you look.

I'm sorry that everyone is going to cross the street and ignore your little happy tail wag.

I'm sorry that today is your last day of freedom.

No more pupachino's

No more trying to catch the wind with your tongue on car rides.

No more playing your favourite game of fetch, or running for miles on your favourite field or beach.

No more giving kisses to strangers

No more doggy play dates with your friends.
