You didn’t think I only listened to punk did you? What you don’t like Australian experimental beach rock? Well sucks cause oh my god. Strap on your loudest headphones, sit down on a couch, and get ready for what can only be described as a crazy-bass bumping-harmonic-psychedelic ride. Supplied to you by some crazy women who just want to rock your face off, Bansheeland will make you memorize the lyrics and sway in your bed like some crazy meth addict in the back alley talking to themselves.There really is something just entrancing about this band and the singing is just so fucking good.

2015 has been a great year! Among other things, we have: played over twenty shows. Made lots of new friends, and drank a lot of beer with our old ones. Played our first - and second! - festivals, one day apart. At opposite ends of the state… Finally opened a bank account like real human grown up people. Ate pizza. Played a show with some cool twins all the way from California! Made t-shirts. Made a zine! Made a little bit of money. Spent a lot of money. Started FURY (Femmes United in a Rhythmic Yell) - an organisation to encourage and enable females to get involved in the local music scene. Tweeted celebrities (Hilary Duff, Shia LeBeouf and Warpaint) with no reply (YET).    Wrote a bunch of new songs. Finalised everything for our debut EP!   Made exciting plans for the future.  Had a damn good time!

We’ve been pretty quiet lately, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy! We decided to take a bit of a break from shows during the first few (particularly crazy) months of the year, but we’ve all been keeping occupied with work/school/life/other since then. Some of us have quit our jobs. Some of us have turned a year older. Some of us are involved in new musical endeavours. It’s all very exciting. Not playing shows has also meant we’ve had time to keep working on our debut EP, which is now in the final stages of recording. WOO!  We’re hoping to wrap up everything on our end in the next couple of weeks, and then it’s on to the production side of things! Quotes have been gathered, and the artwork is currently being finalised. Soon, the tracks will be sent off for mastering, then there’ll be CD replication, cover printing, maybe a bit of sneaky merch, yadda yadda yadda.... I know we’ve been saying this for a while now.. but it’s coming! And it’s coming quite soon! For anyone who’s ever done anything like this before, you will understand that these things take time. A lot of time. Like, way more time than you ever anticipated... That being said, if something is worth doing - it’s worth doing right. So I’m sure by the end of all this, we’ll have produced something that we’re all happy with and hopefully you (our fans/the general public) will be too! Thank you all for your continued support and interest in our noise makings. We love you!
