My last post on Instagram (and on my blog) has gotten more positive feedback than I ever would have expected. I seriously just thought I’d put myself out there, get a few likes and nothing much would come from it. But my friends and strangers that are on the #barefacedandwhat hashtag have really surprised me and been so kind and supportive. I actually feel a lot better about myself and my skin and maybe a little more confident. I’ve always felt so ugly and like everyone (even my friends) thought I was too, but everyone’s encouragement and compliments mean so much. I’m really emotional and happy. The world can surprise you sometimes when you make yourself vulnerable to criticism.. Literally my bare face is one of my biggest insecurities and I really love zoella for making the hashtag and what she said in her vlog, she really inspired change in me and my self worth.
