I’m curious if you live near your favorite team. If you consider yourself a local fan, however you want to define that. I know that many ppl on here are fans of teams that aren’t near them/in their community and I’m curious at that ratio. To me, my teams are something that I love because they’re near me/were near where I grew up. I’ve got friends who move frequently and they pick up a new team in every city while still being loyal to their old teams.

I was thinking about the Yotes being forced to move but also the As leaving Oakland. To me teams are so tied to their location and community that the idea of losing one of my teams is physically painful. Location matters, at least to me, idk about anyone else.
