I know this is a Bella/Vanya blog, but if anyone wants another fun skating team to follow on social media, Emilea and Vadym are also super cute. Emi has an insta (Emilea Zingas) and a tiktok (zingaskolesnik33).

Coincidentally I think these teams are pretty active on social media as well. Not as active as Bella and Vanya though, I believe.

Bashynska/Beaumont's programs are...SO BAD. Nadiia has some of the prettiest lines in the field, she turned down a ballet scholarship to keep doing ice dance, WHY are they doing this to her? Especially when they've been asking Carol to let them do a ballet program. The lack of taste is APPALLING

They really are, Carol never knew how to choreograph to anyone other than Paul Poirier, and even in his and Piper's case, she gave them some highly questionable programs.

To be fair I'm not a fan of B/B in general, I never saw a program for them that I really liked, and while I agree she has nice lines (with not great extensions) it's mostly due to her long limbs than anything else IMO.

Both their programs are cringe, lack speed and ice coverage, and generally have no interesting or original moments. And the packaging is tragic. They deserve better.

On Ice Perspectives filmed a full practice run through of Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier's Evita FD - fun to see this program from a completely different angle than what you'd get on a TV broadcast or fancam.

And this from their training mates, Juniors Nadiia Bashynska & Peter Beaumont is probably one of my favorite free dances of the season. "The Red Violin" from their first JGP event earlier this Fall.
