Bassie is one of those characters that you’d love to be in a relationship with, but god does this girl bring a lot of baggage with her when you finally get into a relationship with her. 

She often goes to you for comfort outside of Eggson. You can often expect this when she has an existential crisis, or if she’s just feeling icky that day. You should probably reassure her that she’ll be fine. She practically melts from your reassurance and affection to the point where you’d have to mop her off the floor (figuratively probably). 

Speaking of affection; the first time you hugged Bassie; you were faced with a hug that has the same amount of grip as a metal lock. Only briefly however because your brief (and guaranteed yelp) will have her losing up and apologizing. Maybe you won’t mind, but the next time you hugged you swore it was by a feather. 

Her need to be… needed is extreme in some cases, and that really does apply to you more than anyone else. She’s scared of being replaced in general, but you replacing her as a girlfriend terrifies her, and that thought came up to her when she was thinking in her free time. 

Bassie wants to be the person you want, at least- what she thinks you want. This includes being insufferably nice towards you and just literally doing everything for you. If you’ve finally had enough of it and had a sit-down chat with her about the whole ordeal this is how it would -most likely- go:

It gets kind of tense.

She can’t help but overthink in some cases. Why are you talking to them for so long? Why are you spending less time with her lately? She can and does get paranoid about what you do, and what does she do? Absolutely nothing. Because she’s able to tell herself that she’s just being paranoid, that you wouldn’t replace her like Delilah tried to replace her, right?

You would absolutely need to reassure her that you won’t replace her. As already mentioned. 

Away from all of the angsty stuff, Bassie constantly asks you to do casual spring activities with her. Flower pressing, flower picking, or when it’s easter, Egg hunting with Eggson. It’s the things that calms her down and you participating in those activities makes her extremely happy. More than she can really verbally admit. 

She occasionally gives you gifts, which include but not exclusive to: Flower crowns, chocolate, chocolate eggs, or just generally whatever you like. She loves seeing your smile when receiving the gifts and your more or less the same when you do the same for her. 

Let’s assume you're a Easter Toon in this regard, whenever you’re stored away in your Easter areas and whatnot, she likes to watch old episodes with you, much like her main Holiday Toon counterpart.

Regardless of what happens, she stays by your side throughout it all. You might constantly encourage her to do what she wants and not what others want. It won’t change her mind immediately but keep preaching it and she’ll listen and take your advice. And what she wants is really just being with you and her friends without too much stress. 

Oh yeah, she isn’t really a fan of you talking to Cocoa. Off topic but she really doesn’t want you talking to her. You don’t really know why.

It was Halloween.

And neither Bobette nor Bassie were happy with this fact.

So they decided to convince you that their respective holidays should be your favorite.

Bobette was perfect at hiding just how envious she was of the others. Especially the other Toons.

You started playing after Christmas. Which means you weren't able to play as her.

She was so jealous you could play as them. You could encounter their Twisteds.

The only time she could be around to hear you, until Christmas would come around, was when someone playing her joined in on a run, or you ventured into roleplay mode.

But she was fortunately able to convince you to join RPs with her and the rest of the Christmas Toons (who were secretly not player controlled) and be able to spend time with you.

She (naturally) would bring up Christmas in the RPs and gently try to change your opinion so Christmas became your favorite holiday.

And when all the Main Toons learned how to leave Roblox and go elsewhere on your phone?

She flooded all your social medias with Christmas content.

She put Christmas songs in your music playlist.

She jumpscared you with 'All I Want For Christmas is You' immediately after the song Hold Them Down finished playing...

She started sending you messages about Christmas content.

You suddenly found all the Christmas Toons as playable options in your Toon list.

She practically became Rudie with her desperate need to convince you to have Christmas as your favorite holidays, and the other Toons had to keep her from overdoing it.

Hm? Why are you upset? She's doing this because she loves you!

She's just trying to make sure you love her as much as she loves you!

"C'mon angel! Why do you seem so upset? Don't you love Christmas? I'm just spreading the cheer to you!"

Bassie was terrified you'd replace her as your favorite Easter Toon if she pushed too hard.

You already liked all the other Easter Toons too. She was barely your favorite. What if you replaced her with Cocoa?

She was very upset Easter wasn't your favorite holiday, but she didn't want to push you. She never wanted to lose you.

She can't lose you...

Thankfully, she was able to start giving you a lot of research about her and everything you needed to purchase her so she could be around you more.

She was able to gently urge you to like Easter more, becoming more and more reliant on you approving her.

And when the Mains learned how to go anywhere on your phone?

You better believe she told none of the other Easter Toons. She kept it entirely private.

And she encouraged you to like Easter more. But it was less about Easter and more about making sure you'd like her.

Sending you messages of flowers and Easter eggs. Making you a new playlist of peaceful content for when you needed to calm down that all involved flowers. Using another person's money to buy you flowers to your home.

It's not your money and this person has a lot of it! It's fine! It's not hurting anyone! Just like the flowers!

Trapped With Twisteds (Part 4)

Words: 488

Features: Bassie, Cocoa, Flyte, Eggson and Ginger (Didn't do Rudie because I wrote this at midnight and couldn't think of anything for him)

Her normal self is clingy enough, so when it comes to her twisted version she is not letting you out of her reach.

Due to her height it’s really hard to run off, especially if you don’t have a high speed level.

Even if you are a speedy toon, her flowers aren’t helping. Because she plants a lot more now that you’re stuck with her, so if you’re also a slower toon then you can barely move at all.

If you keep trying to leave she’ll start carrying you around in her arms, mainly her normal/uninfected arm.

This also means that you’re stuck on the easter floor, so she tries to make you some bouquets. Although they are pretty small and kinda sad, but she tries.

Any merch she finds she’ll hand to you, often throws or destroys other toon merch. Wants to be your favourite, can’t have any competition now, can she?

She is so quick, so unless you’re a distractor or have five star speed you are barely able to outrun her.

Although you can hide much easier, this doesn’t stop her from looking for you though. Much quicker and panicked.

If you keep running from her she’ll keep a paw on you, if she can’t be touching you then she’ll be right behind you wherever you go.

(I think all animal toons have some instincts of said animal) So she tries her best to make a burrow or nest, whatever she can make the quickest.

This overtime leads into her trying to make you stay in the burrow/nest, rushing around to find anything she can find and bring them back.

It’ll be very hard to run away from Flyte, as he barely pauses for anything. Leaving the time you could run very slim.

Tends to stay right next to you, whether it’s by flying or walking. If other toons show up he’ll start herding you away from wherever they are.

Another one who searches the floor for different items, sure he tends to grab whatever he can find, but he prefers to bring you food items.

He is pretty easy to run away from, so he takes his time when chasing you around. Normally waits until you tire yourself out from running around before catching you.

Tries to keep you in arms length, if not then the furthest you’re going is cane length. That's the furthest you can go before running off.

When toons come by the floor you’re trapped on, you can try run and get their attention. Eggson won’t let you, keeps you close so they can’t take you away.

This also means the toons are thrown off a little, because they can only see one twisted on the floor until they find him hiding you. But what's the chance of that happening, after all they just want to leave as well.

Her twisted is one of the clingiest twisteds around, but this also means that you’ll have very few chances of escape.

As her attention is one of the highest ones there is, hiding from her is hard enough, you have to be quick enough or good at hiding for a chance to be free.

When other toons show up on the floor Ginger doesn’t stay around you the whole time. Instead she tries to scare the others off the floor as quickly as possible before finding you and relaxing.

its cute in its own way, though! its the thought that counts and the fact he still tries is sweet- all for you!

he has a soft faint fuzz all over his body that feels nice to touch, too... kind of like felt... he vaguely smells like spring

COCOA

shocker she tastes and smells like chocolate... but dont try to take a bite! she might not get angry... but shes definitely going to lightly scold you if you try to take nibble out of her- shes not for eating!

love love loves nuzzling her nose against yours... theyre called bunny kisses for a reason- and shes in love with them!

you might sometimes be left with a faint smudge of chocolate on your face though.. she prefers to kiss you somewhere on your face too

BASSIE

smells almost overwhelmingly like sweet flowers- if she notices you crinkling her nose shes going to swap out her flowers for something else just to be more appealing to you... thats... its own thing to tackle honestly...

sometimes she can come off too strong in the kiss- not so much taking the lead more so... jumping right into it and dominating you, trying to be the leader but in a rushed and forced way

in truth she likes it slow and tender but she feels the need to be the one taking charge that it bleeds into her romance...

-Oh! She tenses up.. not because you did anything wrong, no, no, it's because she wants to appear as someone you can rely on, especially since you are one of the few young toons that happen to be in Gardenview. Bassie knows she can be dependent on others a lot but she wants to do her best to appear as someone reliable and wants to do her best for you! She will stutter and play with her fingers a lot, even fixing her appearance. As for you, you think she is a pretty lady, especially the flowers on her! If you compliment her, she relaxes as she smiles at you and thanks you quietly.

-It's mostly quiet when you are around her, she likes to sit in quiet places or even find flowers to press. If you are someone who doesn't talk much, you two will get along well! Even if you are an energetic kid, she has the energy to catch up to you and make sure you don't accidentally hurt yourself. If you talk, Bassie is a very good listener, making sure to reply to you here and there and just listen quietly. She has a very soft voice as she makes sure you are having fun doing activities together or speaking to you. Sometimes Bassie likes to watch you run around in the grass with a smile on her face though her eyes are always observing so nothing happens to you, even if Gardenview is safe.

-Bring her a pressed flower and Bassie takes it and treats it so delicately in her hands, anything you gift her, she finds it very sweet. She likes to gently stroke your head as she tells you that you did well and she will keep this close to her. Seeing you get happy that she likes it makes her smile bigger and more warm. You two like to gather flowers and when you have enough, you like to press them together, she teaches you the best method and what to use them for. Bassie also likes seeing how you do it and even offer you some help if you are struggling.

-Speaking of offering you help, she really tries her best when you ask her politely, she gets happy as she wants to do her best and help you out in anything she can. It's also technically her moment to shine here and show everyone how independent she can be! It might take her a while to realize how she can help but Bassie really does try her best, always trying to help you as much as she can and if not, she might get nervous more and more.. she doesn't really want to ask for any help now, does she? She wants to be like Cocoa, being able to help more instead of being dependent on others like she was.

-Sometimes poor Bassie can't hide how nervous and tense she gets and she might tell you to look for easter eggs and uses this time you are away to calm herself down. Don't worry though, she makes sure from before to have Eggson or even Flyte watch out for you or even team up with you. Bassie always makes some sort of an excuse, telling you she has to do something real quick or other things. She doesn't like lying to you but she doesn't want to risk you having that image of her in your mind. She's supposed to be the "main" toon, after all, she can't be showing you anything negative, she can't be showing you her worries or how she can get.

-If she manages to calm herself down, she pretends that everything is okay and spends more time with you, your presence and the activities she does with you definitely get her mind off of all those worries at least for a good while. It's almost like nothing really changed, she might feel a bit more tense or nervous, yes, but Bassie won't break down in front of you or anything like that. She refuses to. The mental image of you getting scared of or concerned for her makes her silently panic. She's supposed to show she's reliable, not break down crying in front of a child of all toons, a child!! It scares her.

-If she can't keep herself calm, she might put up a fake yet nervous smile for the other two and explain how she has somewhere to go but she'll be back later on. She stutters as she says it and sprints away quickly so you don't get to witness her face slowly falling apart, feeling herself tearing up and eventually crying. Bassie hates how her fear of being replaced gets to her eventually no matter what she does. When she sees the merchandise of Cocoa and the plushies, it really gets to her, she's afraid, she doesn't know what to do better. She clutches her head as she looks down, panting softly as she is shaking, her vision getting blurry. It takes her a very good while to calm down fully to show herself to you or her friends.

-If you spend time with Cocoa is also when it really gets to her, she won't show it but she tenses up as her breathing feels a bit off. She.. she understands if you rather spend more time with Cocoa than her, really, especially when Cocoa has such a bright and easy to get along with personality. She is also pretty energetic too and loves to help others out, it really gets the fear in Bassie when she watches silently from afar, her hands clutching her arms as she tries taking deep breaths. But when you come back to her, happy to see her is when she gets very surprised as her breath hitches. Maybe a small smile comes out of her as she laughs nervously. You really did come back..

-She really hoped she wouldn't never break down in front of you but sometimes it's very hard. She would panic even harder when she thinks about not tearing up when you are literally right there close to her. She tends to turn around but you can hear the stuttering in her soft shaky voice. If you ever manage to catch a glimpse of her tearing up, she instead gives you her shaky hand to hold, looking away as she silently offers to walk around with you, refusing to look at you. It helps calm her down as she takes deep shaky breaths. You usually get distracted by the colorful environment around you to notice Bassie's nervous expression, by the time you two stop walking, she's calm enough to face you, even if she still feels and does actions that still show she is nervous.

-Even though she can be quite the mess, Bassie really is grateful and appreciates your presence. She really likes spending time with you and she hopes you look up at her and find her helpful and that. Just knowing she made your day even a little better is enough to bring a small smile to her face as she calms down and relaxes visibly. She is looking forward to more activities with you and even taking care of you. Even if you spend time with the others, when you come back at her, happily holding a flower for her is what really gets her to warmly smile and thank you sincerely. She hopes you continue running up to her so happily like this and she wishes to make you smile happily like this too.

She is really into showing her affection to you. She prefers it in private but she typically cannot battle the need to cuddle into you in the middle of the lobby.

Speaking of cuddling.. She doesn’t have a preference for big or small spoon… At least that’s what she tells herself. She absolutely melts the millisecond she’s cuddled up in your arms.

With her love comes jealousy, typically with other mains or Cocoa. She’s afraid you’ll leave her for one of them because she’s too dependent.

(As mentioned before) The biggest problem about your relationship is the jealousy. Bassie keeps it to herself, but you can tell with the way her grip on your hand tightens. She typically becomes more aloof or rude whenever she’s with the toon or the said toon is mentioned in a conversation.

To conclude the head canons, Bassie is very sweet and loves you with all her heart. Give her some time and she’ll gain more trust. She just needs love and patience, if you have it, it’s a 10/10 relationship ngl.

Every spring, the Gardenview Center bursts into color as the Easter event arrives in Dandy’s World. This year, the halls are filled with baskets, pastel decorations, and four brand-new Easter Toons: Bassie, Cocoa, Eggson, and Flyte. Each brings their own unique abilities and festive spirit to the adventure, with special rooms and challenges appearing every five floors.Introducing y/n or Steamer a toon thats energetic and clever, always the first to leap into action when his friends need help. Y/n, never one to pass up a prank, swapped Cocoa’s bonbons with rubber eggs. When Cocoa tried to hand one out, it bounced across the room, causing everyone to burst out laughing. Even the usually serious Eggson cracked a smile.But when a Twisted version of Flyte appeared, the fun turned frantic. Y/n quick-thinking as always, used his train head to block a corridor, giving his friends time to escape. In his rush, though, he tripped over a basket, sending eggs flying everywhere.
