What I did during the full moon lunar eclipse in Taurus 🌕🐂🕯️
disclaimer: I'm not a professional anything but today I did a full moon "ritual" and I wanted to share it! Hope you'll enjoy it and hopefully be inspired~
Tumblr media
So this full moon lunar eclipse in Taurus is all about releasing, letting go of what no longer serves us. It's closing a big chapter started November 2021 and even though we may feel tired, even exhausted, we should take a moment for ourselves and take a deep breath. What I did wasn't properly a ritual, it was a series of actions done with intention (okay, perhaps it was, indeed, a sort of ritual)
I started by lighting a candle and put it near my bathtub
I filled the bathtub and used a bath bomb that I bought exactly for this event
I took a moment to enjoy the water, closed my eyes and rested in silence feeling my body
After that, I started taking my energy back. I've spent a lot of energy for people who didn't deserve it, so I said this, out loud, multiple times:
I lovingly and peacefully call all of my power back to me now
As I was saying that, I was visualizing all the energy in the form of a white light coming from them to me and entering my body once again.
I did it for as much time as I felt, until it was right for me. Then I started letting go. Similarly to the situation aforementioned, I was spending a lot of energies for the wrong people and, even if it may feel hard to do and sad, it is right to do the best thing for us and let go. So I started saying:
I accept what enriches me and I let go of what no longer serves me.
I was saying that taking deep breaths and letting stuff go as I exhaled and accepting while inhaling.
After that I started washing myself, as I did, I focalized with what I was saying and I also began to talk to the universe. I said how grateful I was for all the blessings it was providing me, and that as I washed myself I was reborn. Just like a snake, I was letting go of my old skin and mind, I was accepting to become my desired version of myself and I was so happy for everything the universe did to me, because I was able to be present in that exact moment. I was able to thank it and to accept all the blessings it is about to give me. I thanked it for always rooting for me and making everything fall into place just the way I want and it is supposed to be.
I then started to empty the bathtub, I continued talking throughout this process and I didn't leave the tub yet, I waited for the water to be all gone, with all the stuff I had released with it.
Once I was done I dried myself up and I did a thing that was mind-blowing for me: I cut my nails. I know it's nothing special, but it is something so simple that can become so meaningful if done with intention. I cut them visualizing everything I needed to let go and I was happy after I saw my nails pretty and without any superfluous emotions in them (as I was writing it I thought it could be something like "hair holds memory", why shouldn't nails? Of course it's a shorter amount of time but it's still time)
And that's about it, it was so good I had to share it right away, for closing my morning I will also do a special tarot reading and then I'll have a nutritious breakfast.
Hope this post reaches you and brings you some inspiration! Fair Winds~ 🧿

Ritual Baths: The Basics
So you've got the ingredients for a ritual bath, now what?
Tumblr media
Clean this can take as much or as little effort as you want. Make sure the tub is clean and get a fresh towel. Put any laundry into a hamper and put it in another room and you're at a set for low effort cleaning. If you want to go all out do a deep clean of the bathroom leaving the fan on or windows open to air out any smell of cleaning products. Follow this up with your favorite cleansing method.
Wash take a shower. Clean your body, your face, your hair. Clear your mind. Let all the excess energies you've picked up wash away down the drain.
Prepare the Bath turn off the water and step out of the shower then, fill the bath and if there is any preparation specified by your ritual or spell do that now. Light a scented candle, incense or essential oil diffuser to add to the sensory experience. Tip: turn off the lights and use a small lamp or battery powered candles to set a cozy ambiance, keep these away from the tub.
Breathe take a moment to refocus your mind and energy on the purpose of the bath. Be it a complex multistep ritual, or a self care night with a cute bath bomb, this is your time. Put your phone on silent and let the people in your home know you are not to be disturbed for as long as your in your bath.
Get in the Bath if you feel compelled to you can thank the water for helping with your spell, then get in. A bath tray can be helpful if you need your spell book handy (no shame in not remembering all the steps of the spell your doing).
Ending the Bath this step is particularly helpful when doing healing, cleansing, or any spell involving letting something go or becoming something new. Stay in the tub as you drain the water and visualize whatever spiritual gunk the spell may have removed from you flowing away from you and down the drain. Tip: keep a mesh strainer nearby to scoop any loose herbs you may have added to the bath for easy clean up.
Wrapping Up be sure to hydrate after a hot bath, its hard to tell how much we sweat while we're in a bath, and it can help recharge you after a long spell. It can be helpful to journal immediately after a ritual bath, write down your experience, what felt right about the spell, what didn't. Lastly, take some time to 'wake up' before moving on. Regardless of what kind of spell or ritual you preformed, you most likely entered a state of deep relaxation and that deserves to be savored.

Mindful Bath Rituals 💆‍♀️ ✨
Hello darlings 🥰
Taking a soothing bath is not only a way to cleanse your body but also an opportunity to nourish your mind, uplift your spirit, and promote overall well-being. Here is how you can create a sacred and enchanting bath experience:
🛁 Prepare your sacred space by clearing any clutter and setting up a calm and peaceful atmosphere in your bathroom. Dim the lights, light some candles, and play soft, soothing music to create a tranquil ambiance.
🌿 Infuse your bathwater with the magic of nature. Add dried herbs like lavender, rosemary, or chamomile to a muslin bag and immerse it in the warm water. These herbs have calming properties and can promote relaxation and stress relief.
🔮 Enhance the energy of your bath with the power of crystals. Place a few crystals known for their soothing and healing energies around the edge of your bathtub. Amethyst, rose quartz, and clear quartz are excellent choices for promoting peace, self-love, and clarity.
📖 Set intentions for your bath ritual. Before stepping into the water, take a moment to connect with your inner self and state your intentions for this sacred self-care time. You can affirm words of self-love, healing, or gratitude, allowing the water to carry your intentions throughout your body.
🌹 Incorporate essential oils into your bath for a sensory experience. Choose oils like lavender, ylang-ylang, or bergamot, known for their relaxing and uplifting properties. Add a few drops to your bathwater or use a diffuser to fill the air with their delightful aroma.
🕯️ Engage in mindful reflection while you soak in the bath. Allow yourself to be fully present in the moment, focusing on the sensations, scents, and sounds surrounding you. Use this time to release any tension or worries and embrace a sense of peace and serenity.
💫 When you're ready to leave the bath, take a moment to express gratitude for this rejuvenating experience. Embrace the feeling of renewal and carry it with you as you step out into the world, ready to embrace the magic that lies ahead.

Yesterday I got some herbs to do a ritual in the bath. A cleansing if you will.. something I desperately need. I am harboring a lot of negative energy in my heart over the death of my significant other.. and many others I’ve lost this past year due to substance abuse. Today, I am almost 40 days sober. but they were not so lucky. I remain heartbroken and weighed down.
If anyone else has any other suggestions for on what type of rituals or such I should do to wash this energy away I am open.

Rest And Rejuvenation: A two part bath spell
Feeling tired? Have you slept 8 hours, 12 hours, napped, drank coffee, slammed red bulls, but you just… can’t keep going on? I know I am. And I don't just want energy, or a buzz. I need real rest and real vitality. These baths will help promote that!
Part one - Rest
Exfoliating sugar scrub
Brown sugar
Ground oats - not instant
Shea butter or coconut oil
Bath Mix
2 drops Lavender oil
2 cups milk (let it come to room temperature, but don’t leave it out long!)
4 tablespoons honey
Half a cup chamomile loose leaf tea
Optional - Melatonin bubble bath or melatonin spray
Quickly wash your body/hair, exfoliate using the scrub and rinse. Then enjoy a nice relaxing bath! If you have music you usually use to fall asleep, listen to it. I personally lit candles and turned the lights off. It was very relaxing. Just soak for a while. Enjoy it.
Ideally the first bath will be done at night before bed. Then, in the morning, take the rejuvenating bath.
Part 2 - Rejuvenation
Hang fresh eucalyptus above your shower head, and run the shower as hot as possible to steam up the bathroom before filling the tub. Play a good morning or feel good playlist, maybe open a window if you can to get some fresh air.
Bath Mix
Full Moon Water, as much as you have
1 drop lemon oil
1 drop bergamot oil
Epsom Salt
A bath bomb! Preferably a fresh scent or peppermint bomb, no chamomile or lavender

I don’t have a bathtub at home and am currently visiting my fiancée, so I took the opportunity to dedicate my bath to Aphrodite and do some worship and bonding. It felt so good 🩷
