I’m surprised I haven’t seen as many Mick/the Captain content considering in s4 ep1 Mick is entirely smitten with the Captain (I mean, same)
Just before Thomas recites his poem, he looks at the Captain like this (without context, he does look a little horrified. But I can assure you he’s staring in admiration)
Then the Captain looks back at him and lightly clears his throat, as he is one to do.
After Cap’s little speech about heroes and men Mick looks at him like this (although that could just be the spark of inspiration)
And of course at the end of the episode he asks about Brigadier General Sir Anthony Bartholomew Raisinby Jones (I think that’s his name) and let’s the Captain ramble on about him
This post literally started off as a silly little joke but now I’m slowly pushing myself towards this ship
