Watched David Tennant as Hamlet last night for the RSC. It was brilliant. By far the best I've seen, and that includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Andrew Scott and Kenneth Branagh.

They really brought out the humour between Hamlet and Polonius, and in Hamlet himself. I've never laughed out loud watching this play before so that was a first. The 'madness' is usually played angrily but Tennant really brought out the jester-like quality of it.

I think I've liked just about everything I've seen David Tennant in, even the drama about the serial killer. So gutted I couldn't get tickets to see him in Macbeth this xmas.
