Pairing: Percy Jackson x Fem reader

Warnings: none just super cute fluff :)

“Two days until we reach Los Angeles” Grover pauses “plenty of time before our deadline to reach the underworld” He says in his seat beside Annabeth.

“Can I ask a dumb question?” Percy asks which causes you to giggle, he side eyes you which makes you clear your throat to stop the laughing.

“It’s like you need me to make fun of you” Annabeth says leaning in and titling her head.

“Shoot” Grover says with a slight turn of his head from curiosity.

“This is dumb, im tired” you groan as you lean back in your seat “I’m going to sleep” you announce as you wriggle around to try and get comfortable.

You didn’t have a care in the world for what they were talking about, all that mattered to you was getting some sleep to make up for not getting any last night. You stretched your legs out before bringing your knees up to your chest and you wrapped your arms around your knees then resting your head on your arms.

Percy looked at you curiously as you tried to get comfortable. You pushed your legs back under the table as that position was not comfortable.

“Ugh there is no way to get comfortable in this booth” you groan in annoyance as you turn and lean your head against the window.

Percy scooted closer to you in the booth secretly, the side of his thigh coming in contact with yours. Percy watches as you shift positions again as your feet lay flat on the ground and you cross your arms on the table, laying your head down atop of your arms. You stayed like that for a short amount of time as it was killing your back, you finally sit up with a huff of frustration.

You sit straight up and decide to close your eyes. you can feel Percy’s arm stretched out behind your back on the seat, he’s practically inviting you to sleep on him. Percy watches you as you wobble in your upright position from how tired you were, fighting to stay awake. You decide your done fighting as you lean into Percy your head resting on his shoulder.

Percy’s eyes widen at the motion causing Grover to snicker. His sits stiff until he finally decides to relax under you. Your breathes slow as you fall asleep on him. He lets his arm fall off of the booth and go around your shoulder.

Sunlight beamed through the window projecting onto your dark hair and the freckles that danced along your cheeks. Percy thought you looked beautiful. A dove was flying steady right outside the window looking as if it was watching the sweet moment. Percy smiled sweetly as he softly brushed the few loose strands of your hair out of your face.

“Percy?” you mumble quietly so that only he can hear. Percy is slightly startled but doesn’t show it as he replays.

“Hmm?” Percy hums in reply.

“Your pretty” you tell him with your head still rested on his shoulder and your entire body still leaned against him with your eyes closed.

He immediately turns bright red at the commen pig t as he was very flustered, he had never been called pretty before, he liked it.

“Th-Thank you” he smiles awkwardly as his face was still burning bright red. He immediately got more embarrassed from the stutter in the reply.

He looks down at you until he notices a specific accessory.

“Thats where my shirt went !” Percy exclaimed as he looked at the shirt that was loosely hanging around your frame.

You just mumbled incoherent words as you snuggled your face into his neck as sleep took over you once again.

Waves and Froth

One of my last pictures of 2023. Made the usual quick stop at Cattle Point to watch the sea. It was a very wavy day :)

I liked the wide angle, I think it gave the landscape that feeling of "space".
