My one annoyance with entirely too many fantasy books involving dragon riders is the nonsensical lack of saddles.

Any kind of saddles.

It does not have to be fancy. It can be a simple cut of leather with stirrups and a small horn. Some tiny, aerodynamic thing to help the rider not die and won't slow the dragon down/impact maneuverability.

one of my favorite tmbg songs just, like, conceptually is absolutely "lady and the tiger" because i feel like it really exemplifies their sense of humor in songwriting.

its a genuine lament from the perspective of the lady and the tiger from famous 1880s short story "The Lady, or the Tiger?" wherein the pair resent their captivity and the tiger warns the lady that attempting to escape to freedom will only harm those around her... because the lady's means of escape is her extraordinary laser-vision, the existence of which tmbg will not lift one single finger to explain. this is played straight. it is very good.

Fic idea: Mello attempting to get Matt to roleplay the villain tying the victim to the train tracks trope and literally tying himself to the train tracks in a random part of the woods hoping that Matt will play along and rail him on the train tracks. Matt thinks “okay fine this is the least abnormal way Mello has been wanting to get fucked in awhile I’ll play along” until in the middle of fucking him an actual train starts coming up to them, but Mello claims it’s for special effects. -TB anon
