Taking my vitamins and beauty supplements every day!

I believe that beauty and health go hand in hand so I got a complete blood work-up to figure out what vitamins and minerals my body was lacking, and I make sure I'm taking my them daily. On top of that, I take various supplements such as Collagen, Fish oil etc but I swear by my 10-gram daily collagen regimen. I take its powdered form right before going to bed and have noticed its benefits within a short time - My knees used to sound like a bowl of Rice Krispies when I bent down, but after a few days of collagen, the crepitus is gone. Plus, my hair is growing faster and my skin is looking plumper. It's done wonders for my joints, giving me a healthy glow, and making me look way more refreshed.

Having perfect posture at all times!

I think this is a very simple but overlooked beauty tip that truly elevates your appearance. It's like the secret weapon of beauty, it can transform not just the way you look, but also the way you feel. When you stand tall and hold yourself with grace and poise, you radiate confidence and elegance. Good posture also has numerous health benefits. It can help prevent back pain, improve your breathing, and even boost your mood and energy levels. Ever since I've started incorporating Pilates and Ballet into my routine to build strength and flexibility, my posture has improved greatly. The way you carry yourself says a lot about who you are and by standing tall and confident, you'll not only look beautiful but also feel empowered and ready to conquer the world.

Getting 6 hours of quality sleep every night!

You know what's a major beauty tip that most people sleep on? Sleep!! Forget about slapping on expensive creams and doing a gazillion steps in your skincare routine. You gotta start with the basics, hun. Get your sleep game on point, eat right, and manage your stress. Now, I know we all have different needs when it comes to sleep, so I won't give you a specific number. But trust me, beauty sleep is not a myth, it's legit! I turn on Night Mode on my devices at 6:30, pop my sleeping pills at 9:30, and hit the hay an hour later. Oh, and I'm not afraid to take a nap during the day if I need to. Don't underestimate the power of a good night's sleep. It's the secret to looking and feeling amazing.

Growing out my eyelashes!

I take pride in my long and voluminous lashes, they're one of my best features and one of my most complimented features. However, my natural lashes were not always this way, they became longer through regular lash serum usage. I do not really need wear mascara and after a lash lift, my lashes appear as if I'm wearing extensions. While Latisse has worked wonders for me, it's important to note that the product does come with potential side effects such as orbital fat loss and irritation. Thankfully, I did not experience any adverse effects. Another caveat is that the product only works as long as it is used consistently. This is a brand I am very excited about! It’s a body & personal care brand that is sustainable, cruelty-free, vegan and gluten-free! Although still in its infancy, Saltair is making huge waves within the skincare industry and has been taken on at Target. You can also shop their full range on the Saltair website.

I was introduced to Saltair by Iskra Lawrence, the founder, via her Instagram account. Fun fact: I worked with Iskra over a decade ago for a magazine shoot. The brief was creative makeup for a creative knit wear brand, you can find the images in my archive.

The affordable Bodycare selection ranges from body wash, lotions and treatments to natural deodorant that is available as a refill. You can expect to pay between $12 + $10 per product, they also offer travel size at $5.

Saltair has recently expanded into haircare and I am obsessed!!! I washed my hair on Monday and by Thursday (wash day) I could still smell the scent of the haircare duo. For me, that’s impressive.

My February Favorites!

Missha A'Pieu Juicy-Pang Color Lip Balm (RD02)

My lips are rather small and it does not help that I am anemic, so I rely on a lot of lip liners and lip balms to bring some color to my lips to make them look fuller and more beautiful. When I do my makeup, I always apply some color on my lips and cheeks to make me look more alive and energetic. This is the perfect tinted lip balm because it is very lightweight and provides your lips with enough moisture and hydration. The color is not too strong and it gives you that 'my lips but better' look, and makes them look super hydrated and well-circulated, I use it whenever I do my lazy girl makeup.

Missha Wanna Some Candy Tint Balm (Good Morning Apple)

This tint balm by Missha is heavily pigmented and you only really need a little product to apply on your lips. I like to put some on my finger and dab it on my lips after lining my lips and finishing it off with my Too Faced Lip Injection Hydrating & Plumping Lip Gloss. I also have the habit of applying excess lip products on my cheeks and in this case it works very well because this product is very long lasting. I am very happy with the recent purchases I have made from Missha and have already put in a few more orders. I can't wait to try out more of their products to see how they look on me.

The Body Shop Dark Cherry 018

This is the lip tint Emma Watson uses every day, I have to say that it has a very strong color and I prefer a natural look so I only need the tiniest bit to apply to my lips and cheeks. I own it in both pink hibiscus and dark cherry but the red one gives you that just bitten look that I love, it looks like your lips were freshly exfoliated and it makes your lips look nice and kissable. I think that a red lip color applied with a light hand looks a lot more harmonious and natural than a pink one on me so I use this one more often. I know this bottle will last me an eternity by how little I use with each application.

Yves Rocher Crayon Kohl Pencil (03 Brun)

I use this Kohl pencil to line my upper lid and to to draw a downward curve at the outer edge of my eye. I have very big eyes and I look more beautiful when I emphasize my upper lid because it gives my eyes a more intense look and it makes my lashline look a lot fuller than it is. My eyes are slightly downturned and I like to emphasize it by lining them to get these cute innocent Bambi eyes. Black tends to look a bit too harsh on my face, and I prefer a more natural look for my daily looks so I use a dark brown Kohl pencil and I make sure everything looks very subtle and natural by blending it out a little as needed.

Lancôme Hypnôse Volume-à-porter Mascara

I have extremely long lashes thanks to applying Latisse on my lashline every night for the past 2 years and usually a lash lift is more than enough but I can not always get those so using a heated eyelash curler and applying black mascara it is. My lashes grow downward so unless I don’t go in with a heated eyelash curler and apply some pressure, it looks like I have no lashes, so I curl my lashes and then apply this mascara, middle to end and then root to end with an emphasis on the middle part which I have figured suits me best. It looks nice, it does not clump and it does not smudge

Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery 50 g Sunscreen SPF 50 + / PA ++++

Oh god, I could talk about this product for hours. I have been using sunscreens everyday since I was 16 years old and found out that it’s the fountain of youth. This is hands down the best sunscreen I have used in my entire life. It makes every sunscreen under the sun look like a joke! No white cast, no oiliness, no pilling, no irritation, I do not look like a corpse, it has a high PA++++ rating and provides good protection, I am simply in love. Unfortunately nothing good comes that easy and I did have to purchase it from a seller (not original source) because it is impossible to find in my region but I’m planning on stocking these once I can get my hands on this amazing sunscreen and I definitely recommend it to everyone who is on the lookout for a good sunscreen.

MISSHA - Safe Block RX Cover Tone Up Sun

I thought I’d never touch a tinted sunscreen ever again after owning and being gifted multiple tinted sunscreens by La Roche Posay that made me look like Donald Trump. I hate La Roche Posay and I hate the fact that my country sells it at every pharmacy like it’s a holy grail when it’s not. Anyways, this sunscreen is perfect for me and it works for me and I love it, I have light skin and it makes my skin look perfect and evens out my skin tone, it provides medium coverage and as long as I take care of my skin there’s no need for me to use a concealer or foundation either. The one thing I will say is that it is my skin tends to dry out during the day so I apply a generous amount of primer before I apply this product.

Dove Original Anti-Perspirant Spray Deodorant

I borrowed this deodorant from my sister and really liked it, I did not really have the intention of buying one for myself but I was in line at our local drugstore and it was right in front of me on sale so I just bought it on a whim. It is still cold where I live so I am not supposed to sweat but I do because I wear thermal gear every single day and a thick coat on top of that so I have to rely on a good anti-perspirant to make sure I smell fresh on the daily. There's not much to say about Dove, it is a classic and it works. One spray under each arm and I am good to go and will not have to worry about any unpleasant smells for the rest of the day. I also use the Matcha green tea handcream from Dove for the softest hands and it smell amazing.

Does anyone have recommendations for cruelty free dry shampoo. I used to use Batiste which is the best but they're not cruelty free so I can't use it anymore. I've tried Not Your Mother's and SGX and both do nothing to help my bangs.

For the makeup rec! Depending on what your vibe is I love the glossier ultra lips for a my lips but better and ELF has some great primers/face stuff that is super reasonable!
